Picks:

Christian Prophet & The Rough Cut vs. KISS & Enemies of the State

I think the blacklist still isn't over enough to warrant a win here.

Bruiser Cassidy vs. Seven Brandt

Cassidy Smash!

Garrett South © vs. Silva Dolla

Wait is this a title match? I thought South lost the title last week. Either way I go for Silva Dolla.

Marco De Francesco vs. Timothy Hawk

Higher up the card.

(AWF World Title) Chaperone vs. Drake Richards ©

No reason to give it back to Chaperone.

Bonus: Who will Towerblock destroy this week?

A.) One of them Christensen boys.

B.) Hawaiian rookie, Kay Pasa.

C.) Lead announcer, Thomas Aria.

D.) 80's wrestler, Buddy Holland.

E.) All of the Above

Christian Prophet & The Rough Cut vs. KISS & Enemies of the State

Omri Stone, Revolver Binx and KISS defeated Christian Prophet and The Rough Cut in 7:18. D+

Experience was the greatest factor in this match, and the advantage of KISS and EotS showed in the first half of the match. It wasn't until Johnny Hollywood became involved that The Blacklist began to look like a legitimate threat in the ring. Hollywood directed his forces like a commander on the battle field until he finally had momentum going for his trio. However, Hollywood's involvement became excessive towards the end and would be the cause of The Rough Cut's downfall. Hollywood ran into the ring, armed with his director's megaphone, and swung it at the face of KISS. However, KISS reacted quickly and ducked, causing the megaphone to smash into the face of Prophet instead. That lead to EotS taking care of Bailey and Grace, while KISS gave Prophet the Hotter Than Hell powerbomb for the victory.

Insider News.

Angle feat: Johnny Hollywood/KISS D+

Post-match, Johnny Hollywood took the microphone as he and his team made their way up the aisle. He cut a promo on KISS who was still in the ring celebrating with Enemies of the State. Hollywood reveals to KISS that he has insider information about what is going to take place at No Love Lost. Hollywood says that there will be a fatal fourway involving two ongoing rivalries in AWF, and that two out of four of the participants will be him and KISS. He says that the match will determine the number one contender for the US Title. Hollywood says that what happened tonight will not matter, because he's leaving No Love Lost as the number one contender for the US Title. He then promises to bring the AWF US Title to Hollywood.

Bruiser Cassidy vs. Seven Brandt

Bruiser Cassidy defeated Seven Brandt in 4:41. D

This was simply four minutes of Cassidy showing off his ablities in the ring. The tattooed rookie, Seven Brandt, hardly made an impact, other than with the mat. The former MMA fighter, Bruiser Cassidy, was persistent with his offensive moves. He would continuously dive at Seven for a takedown and follow up with some heavy ground strikes and submissions. Seven did his best to dodge some of the attacks, but Cassidy was an unstoppable beast in this setting. Eventually, Cassidy wore out Seven to the point that he was able to run into him and deliver a running knee to the face. That move, which he calls "End of the World," knocked out Seven for the pinfall.

Just fighting.

Angle feat: Bruiser Cassidy/Silva Dolla. C-

While Bruiser Cassidy was celebrating, Silva Dolla came out of the audience and jumped into the ring. Silva charged at Cassidy and crashed into him with a shoulder tackle that sent him crashing and burning to the outside. Cassidy sat up pretty quick but was still stunned by the force of Silva's shoulder tackle. Silva removed his t-shirt and got ready for his match that was scheduled to take place next.

Garrett South vs. Silva Dolla

Garrett South defeated Silva Dolla in 7:31. C+

The former US Champion had something to prove tonight as he came out to the ring more focused than he's been for some time. Silva was just as intent on winning though, after warming up on Bruiser Cassidy moments before the match. Thus, the match took on the form of a back and forth brawl between two wrestlers with similar experience, wrestling style, and size. Garrett South made the mistake of provoking the audience as he was getting ready to hit a big move on Silva in the corner. Instead, he missed the move completely and ate the turnbuckle. Silva followed up the counter with a Dolla Sign attempt, but Silva was distracted when Bruiser Cassidy came back out and stepped up on the apron of the ring. That was enough of a distraction to allow South to break out of the firemans carry. South then regained his footing, and hit Silva with a roaring elbow. He followed up with the Southern Justice for the pinfall.

Not really Kay Pasa vs. Towerblock.

Angle feat: Kay Pasa/Towerblock. C-

Kay Pasa and Towerblock were scheduled to have an impromptu match. However, Towerblock came out armed with a steel chair and beat down Kay Pasa with it before the match could even get started. Towerblock went straight to work on Pasa with the chair, crushing the Hawaiian hero's ribs with shot after shot. Towerblock shoved the referee out of the ring and kicked Kay Pasa out before demanding a microphone. Towerblock announced that AWF management have named him the number one contender for the US Title. He says that he'll be facing the new champion, Vincent I. Parker, at No Love Lost; and he hopes that Herculez watches what he does to VIP in the ring.

Marco De Francesco vs. Timothy Hawk

Timothy Hawk defeated Marco De Francesco in 9:35. C+

It's been a while since Marco fought in a high profile match, and having to face a competitor like Timothy Hawk didn't help with his adjustment to the upper end of the card. Hawk was relentless with his attacks, clearly showing that he was out to win and wouldn't let it go any other way. Marco eventually stooped to the point of delivering a low blow to Hawk, but the attacks that followed weren't powerful enough to keep down Hawk. Hawk came back like a hero, and ran through Marco with clotheslines before giving him the Justice Slam for the win.

Jean-Claude Giroux & Sebastian Curtis vs. Vincent I. Parker & Wilson Hancock

Sebastian Curtis and Jean-Claude Giroux defeated Vincent I. Parker and Wilson Hancock in 10:11. C+

The AWF World Title number one contender started things off with the US Champion Vincent I. Parker in an exchange that we've seen quite a few times before. Although they stuck to the same routine, it never seems to grow old with these two. A tag-in to Jean-Claude was timed perfectly in order to break up any repetitiveness that might have incurred. Jean-Claude came in, calm as usual, to face VIP. VIP knew that he couldn't go after Jean-Claude with pure rage due to Jean-Claude's sophisticated technical westling abilities; it would be suicide for VIP. Instead, VIP tried to take the same approach as Jean-Claude, and it worked out wonderfully. The two went back and forth with some quick chain wrestling in the center of the ring. VIP would still take the fall though as he let his guard down just long enough for Jean-Claude to break up the sequence by delivering a European uppercut. It was a cheap move by Jean-Claude; but perfectly legal and effective. The next several minutes that followed would be Jean-Claude working over VIP who desperately tried to tag in his partner.

Finally, VIP was able to get in a kick to push Jean-Claude back, and rolled to his corner to tag in Wilson Hancock. With Jean-Claude still stunned by VIP's kick, Hancock quickly charged at Jean-Claude for his only chance at taking him down. This worked well in Hancock's favor as he mounted on Jean-Claude and delivered some punches. It looked like Hancock finally had the upperhand on Jean-Claude after weeks of struggling against his foe. However, Hancock's lack of awareness afforded Jean-Claude the opporunity to duck one of Hancock's punches and dive straight into a tag from Sebastian Curtis. Curtis was fresh now, and put down Hancock within seconds of being in the ring. It didn't take long for Hancock to tag in VIP before Curtis could deal too much damage. VIP pushed through Curtis and Jean-Claude like a train, running through him with some clotheslines. All of a sudden, VIP's PPV opponent, Towerblock, started walking to ringside. VIP immediately noticed the giant making his way to the ring. Seeing that he would have to take care of business, VIP tagged Hancock back in.

With Hancock in the ring, VIP ran and flew out of the ring for a suicide dive into Towerblock which caused Towerblock to crash into Adrienne who was standing right behind him. Wilson Hancock witnessed the entire event and flipped out on VIP. VIP tried to apologize, but Hancock was losing his mind. Jean-Claude came up behind Hancock and gave him a Playboy Press on the outside mat. Jean-Claude pushed Hancock back inside the ring which allowed Curtis to cover him for the win.

(AWF World Title) Chaperone vs. Drake Richards ©

Drake Richards defeated Chaperone in 13:06. B-

This was Chaperone's rematch due to the rule that if the World Champion loses, he gets a rematch on the third week of the following month. Both men showed respect to one another at the start of the match by exchanging a hand shake. After that, both superstars only cared about one thing; the AWF World Title. Chaperone relied on his heavy strikes and sheer power to slow down Drake, while Drake used speed and flying attacks to take Chaperone off of his feet. The result of this was a highly competitive and physical contest. Both men had a lot of near falls, including some pin attempts that came after they hit their finishers on each other. One finisher just wasn't enough to put down either wrestler. However, the end came abruptly for Chaperone. Chaperone decided to go outside of his repertoire by trying to pull a big move off of the top rope. However, when he came down, Drake Richards countered with a super kick to the face. The move knocked Chaperone flat on his back and allowed Richards to climb up to the top rope. Richards gave Chaperone one last Top Rope Rushmore to finish him off.

Raid.

Angle feat: Chaperone/Core/Drake Richards/Sebastian Curtis.

Sebastian Curtis and Core picked the perfect opportunity to attack Chaperone and Richards who were exhausted from competing. After putting the boots to both men, Sebastian Curtis went under the ring to grab something. He pulls on something heavy and eventually reveals that it's a ladder! Sebastian takes the ladder and smashes it over the back of Richards. Meanwhile, Core has just finished choke slamming Chaperone through the announce table! Curtis then instructs Core to fetch him the AWF World Title as he sets up the ladder. Core hands Curtis the AWF World Title belt and a microphone as he ascends to the top of the ladder. Once Curtis reaches the top, he holds the belt up in the air. He says into the microphone that at No Love Lost, his ladder match will be perfection, and that he will be the AWF World Champion again.

Final Grade: C+
