Not too familiar but I do believe Tammy "Sunny" Fytch got her start in pro wrestling in SMW managing Chris Candido....a young Chris Jericho teamed with Lance Storm as the Thrill Seekers...The Gangstas (New Jack & Mustafa Saed) were there before heading off to ECW...oh and don't forget Cactus Jack, Boo Bradley & Boots the Cat!

New Jack Promo (caution, it's New Jack so it's moderately offensive)

I was the first time I saw both Al Snow and Kane as well (Though I am not sure if it was the promotion they got their start in.). I remember very little about it but I would love to see a diary based on it.

i have decided to do a SMW diary, some guys on the roster you may know some you may not,but SMW was a start for future stars like Chris Jericho,Lance Storm,Chris Candido, with the mix of some some of the 80's stars such as The Rock n Roll Express,Paul Orndorff,Eddie Gilbert,The Armstrongs, and Jim Cornett.

SMW had a a little mix of everything. I do my diaries a little different. I don't write out long half page matches. The match write ups may not be long but they are detailed and let you know whats going on (I don't think you have to write a book to get your story across,I think you can be creative and still catch the attention of the readers) however I will be a little more detailed in storylines, interviews and angles.

I remember SMW quite well. Attended most of their big shows in Johnson City and Knoxville. They had a lot of local guys and complemented them with national and regional stars (Arn Anderson, Bobby Eaton, Shawn Michaels, Terry Gordy, and others paid visits). Macho Man Randy Savage on loan for the WWE jobbed to Bruiser Bedlham who Cornette was trying to push as a monster heel (it was a rarity to see a national star put over a local wrestler at that time. But that was the formula Jarrett used to build up Jerry Lawler in Memphis a couple decades earlier).

Look forward to seeing your version!! Totally agree that long write-ups are not necessary (and most of the time, they are only skimmed if that)
