WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW. </p><p> </p><p> The way you write, the stories you tell, everything is pure perfection. That being said, iv'e developed a few favorites along the way.</p><p> </p><p> Steve Frehley - Finally, someone has made me care about this man. Whenever I play an SWF game, I get the title off him ASAP, you've changed my mind, showed me what an awesome franchise player he can be, and I honestly never want him to lose the belt.</p><p> </p><p> Rich Money - The quintessential cocky heel. This guy has made me hate him, so much in fact that I actually feel sympathy for Eric Eisen. Rich Money is the focus of every show and that's how it should be, this guy has been golden. </p><p> </p><p> Eric Eisen - Speaking of Eisen, the way you've developed his character has been brilliant. I'm desperate to see him get a run as a face using his "The Game" persona. A heel world champion Money Vs. Eric Eisen would be gold. </p><p> </p><p> Emma Chase - Last but not least, my favorite character in this diary. You've got her personality down pact. So much so in fact, I enjoy her angles and segments more than anyone else. She made me care about Jack Bruce, and at the same time, her methodical approach to all things business is commendable. She doesn't let emotions get involved, just money, and doing what's best for business. I found myself getting upset with her clients for letting her down. </p><p> </p><p> So in conclusion: This diary is amazing, Emma Chase is awesome, and Eric Eisen deserves a long run as the top face. I mean, plus, long term, he's only 29 years old. He could EASILY go on to be the 'face' of the company for years to come (again, if booked right). That's what I was looking to do... create a 3-D version of him so that people could, hopefully, see him as more than just a guy to drop the belt off of. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> All in all, It's AWESOME to know that you're buying into the "Dark Destroyer". Without giving too much away, I knew that, for people to CARE about Eisen, even if it were for a split second before he rips their hearts out again as a heel, that it was going to take something BIG. I mean, he's one of THE most hated figures in the game & by most readers on the boards here.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Writing a dynasty makes it SO much easier to book the game as well (this being an example of that). I knew that I wasn't going to drive Eisen into the ground, booking wise, because that simply wouldn't happen if your dad owned the place. I wanted to keep him strong. That said, I wasn't all that 'happy' about having to do it (as he tanked most matches for me; grade wise). Now, by writing a dynasty with this game, I've come to LOVE Eric Eisen for exactly who he has been...and who he's becoming. He's become SO easy to write and I find myself excited about pushing his story further down the road. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Will he turn face and shove it in Money's face? It's possible. I mean, he's seemingly losing his composure and that alone could force him to do something drastic. I guess we'll have to see...</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> SIDE NOTE: It's good to know that my overuse of Rich Money isn't a deterrent. To me, I tend to write in the manner for which there is one overarching storyline and then many that fall underneath it. It's more fun that way as you can coil storylines and create a more organic environment. In this case, the overarching storyline is Rich Money and his blatant oppression of the SWF in which to benefit himself (and himself alone). I wanted to portray her in a way that set her apart from any generic business agent. In her case, she became this monotone, emotionless, cold-hearted b*tch who is driven, almost obsessively, with success. As you can guess, NOT having that success, as you pointed out, has been sending her into her own state of insanity... actually showing emotion from time to time now. Her hard-shell exterior is also starting to crack... albeit in a MUCH more subtle fashion than Eric Eisen's.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Her continual headbutting with Money shows she has gumption too. That said, as you would expect, and as we saw, Money didn't really 'like' being challenged. In doing so, she was forced to silence herself in many ways; pulling back slightly. Will THIS drive HER to turn her aggression toward Money as well? It's possible. Long hours in airports along the way. That said, "SC33" part IV is pretty much ready to go. I'll have the results up to read come Wednesday morning (as I'll have time to finish things up).</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Following this final post, I will be taking a brief hiatus. I don't expect to be away for very long (as I know how these things go). Ultimately though, I want to decompress a little bit after writing "SC33". The ultra-aggressive technition has long been perceived as the submission-specialist in the SWF; accepting the role from Enforcer Roberts in an informal fashion many years ago. That said, with this knowledge, the violent choke-out ending to their “Master of Puppets” encounter certainly caused a considerable amount of ruckus; both with the SWF NATION and, more importantly, Gilmore himself.] [The next match-based hype video of the night tells the story of how Angry Gilmore and Remo crossed paths; all starting with a shocking, what many perceived to be an, upset win on SupremeTV. This scenario inspired the brutish “Alpha Dog” to fixate upon his prey much like a rabid pitbull. At this point, it was Remo’s obsession that is documented. He became bound-and-determined to ‘even the score’. In reality, as his opportunity came at “Master of Puppets”, he far surpassed breaking even. In that moment, the “Alpha Dog” viciously teetered the power directly back in his corner; choking the smaller Gilmore out in a display of brute power.] [Following the unsettling choke-out, Remo appeared as though he was looking to move on with his career. He had proved his dominance, rather convincingly, and was focused on attempting a 3rd opportunity at Steve Frehely and the SWF World Heavyweight Championship in 2013.] [That would never come to pass…] [The obsession now overtook Angry Gilmore. He couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t carry on his life without gaining a sense of revenge for what happened at “Master of Puppets”. His thoughts of redemption became impossible to suppress and, in doing so, he set-out on a violent campaign in which to FORCE the “Alpha Dog” into a re-match. At first, Ms. Chase, the high-powered agent of Remo, deemed the challenge as ‘beneath the destructive fighter’. For weeks, Gilmore attempted to bypass her perception and violently change REMO’s mind…] [Attack by attack came… but, in most cases, Remo would prove to get the better of Gilmore. That was until the “SC33” press conference…] [He was booked by Ms. Chase in the main event, against Jack Bruce, in which to ‘keep him away’ from the event. In the end, no such scenario came to pass. Instead, after falling short of beating the rebellious rocker, both he AND Jack Bruce appeared at the worldwide event in which to cause as much damage as possible.] [ultimately, said event closed with the sight of Angry Gilmore, now, the aggressor; violently choking out Remo in a fervid fashion. While Remo’s power was on full-display, attempting to throw the much smaller Gilmore from his back like a bucking bull, it was Gilmore’s incessant aggression that made it IMPOSSIBLE to shake. In the end, Remo was choked out… RIGHT before the international media.] [This didn’t sit well with the dominating “Alpha Dog”; not on the stage for which they were projected. In doing so, he accepted the challenge and put forth a REAL opportunity of a re-match at “SC33”.] [Angry Gilmore MAY have gotten his way but that doesn’t mean he’s already won. From what we’ve seen in prior weeks, the “Alpha Dog” may always stand as a major mismatch for the smaller technition. Their styles often lean heavily in favor of Remo.] [in the end, the overarching narrative appears to be… Can Angry Gilmore overcome the odds and choke-out Remo? In reality, from what we’ve seen, and through an informal ‘eye test’, one has to wonder if it’ll EVER be possible when in competition; and not a jumping from behind kind of scenario. This is the match you’ve been waiting for… This is… Angry Gilmore… vs… Remo…] GRADE: B- Duane Fry: It’s one of THE most anticipated matches we’ve seen in years. Angry Gilmore… the “Alpha Dog” Remo… Submission Match… Jerry Eisen: This is going to be one…HUGE… fight! [Pauses] Honestly, If this were a standard match, I think Angry Gilmore would be at a greater sense of odds. I mean, we’ve SEEN Angry Gilmore beat Remo via pinfall in recent months; granted it WAS a flash roll-up. Either way though, we KNOW it’s possible… [Pauses] I don’t know if ‘choking Remo out’ IS possible though… I mean… This man… this “Alpha Dog”… is a big… BAD… man. He’s not one to submit to ANYTHING… Peter Michaels: We saw it at the press conference, boys. It IS possible… Duane Fry: Will it be, though, when their standing toe-to-toe? This isn’t a fight… an unexpected brawl… Remo has been preparing for this fight for weeks now. [Pauses] You don’t want to cross paths with a focused and determined Remo… That’s a scary thought… Jerry Eisen: It really is… Peter Michaels: Beatin’ Remo will be hard but… Gilmore’s got it in ‘em. I ‘aint never seen someone as fixated as this guy… he doesn’t let up… doesn’t slow down… [Pauses] He won’t have a LONG career but, for when he’s here, Gilmore’s goin’ to do some big things in the SWF. Duane Fry: WOW… You’re giving him the Peter Michaels-stamp of approval? Peter Michaels: Dang right. I like the kid; he’s got a WHOLE LOT of a fight in ‘em. Already glistening with water spilled on him before he walked out, every cut, every muscle, every vein, can be seen in grand display. More or less, he looks absolutely menacing due to his immense size and unsettling stoic nature.Ms. Chase trails closely behind, her arms firmly at her side, staring forward in a machine-like fashion. She doesn’t project anything in the way of emotion; which is consistent. Ultimately, her sharp gaze could cut down almost anyone.As they stroll in tandem, the match ends up starting in an unexpected fashion…Bypassing his need for an entrance, Angry Gilmore speeds out of the back at a rapid pace. Within seconds, he’s shown leaping upon the back of the muscular heavyweight. In doing so, the second he makes impact with the big man, Gilmore is shown locking in a traditional sleeper hold. Duane Fry: SLEEPER HOLD!! ANGRY GILMORE HAS A SLEEPER HOLD LOCKED IN! Jerry Eisen: They haven’t even MADE IT to the ring yet!! This match hasn’t officially been started!! Peter Michaels: I don’t think Gilmore really cares all that much; he’s goin’ to choke him out now and find a way to win the match later… He attempts to wrap his legs around Remo’s thick core, hoping to add further leverage for his opening submission hold; however, fails to secure such. Remo’s midsection is just too big and it’s not like he’s standing still and ALLOWING him to do so.Remo tries to buck him off his back like a raging bull; however, Gilmore continues to hold on for dear life. In doing so, the big man is shown wincing early on; sweat rolling down his smoothly bald head.It looks like Angry Gilmore may bring the match to an end FAR before the bell even rings. Eventually, Ms. Chase makes her impact known by dropping down and hitting a low-blow upon Angry Gilmore from behind. The impact, taking the technition by surprise, forces him to let go of the sleeper hold. In doing so, he topples over to the blackened steel rampway below; wincing in pain. Duane Fry: OH! Jerry Eisen: LOW BLOW FROM MS. CHASE!! Duane Fry: That’s going to break the hold PRETTY quick! Shaking off the submission hold, Remo looks pissed. Spinning around in a heavy fashion, the brutish fighter quickly lands a number of strong boots to the back of Gilmore’s head as he lies down. Each kick forces Gilmore’s body to shake violently.Seconds later, Remo lifts Angry Gilmore off the steel; however, in doing so, the rabid technition springs back into action; going at Remo with a number of heavy-handed strikes of his own.Sensing the action won’t make it to the ring anytime soon, Darren Smith makes an executive decision… calling for the bell… and exiting the ring in which to oversee the action. Jerry Eisen: There we go… there’s the bell! Duane Fry: … aaaaaaand it’s on! Gilmore has Remo on his heels with his fervid haymakers; however, it doesn’t last very long. A stiff hip shot to Gilmore’s stomach is so powerful that it drops the smaller fighter to his knees. A stiff boot kick to the head of the kneeling Gilmore sends him crashing to the blackened steel rampway once again.After a number of heavy stomps once again, Remo is shown lifting Gilmore off the blackened steel and tossing him square into the nearby guardrail. Upon the impact, Angry’s face turns with an uncomfortable wince. That said, as Remo stomps over in his direction, the much smaller fighter speeds forward and ends up ramming his shoulder into Remo’s thick stomach. This moves both backward until Remo’s back now collides with the opposing steel gaudrail. Duane Fry: They’re going at it!! Neither man is backing down!! Jerry Eisen: Angry Gilmore doesn’t seem to care, one bit, about the size difference. He’s taking it to Remo!!! Gilmore throws a few more punches of his own, staggering Remo away for a second; however, as the “Alpha Dog” spins back around, he catches a running Gilmore with a BIG hip-toss square onto the blackened steel rampway below. The sheer POWER of Remo sends Gilmore tumbling down the steel rampway; finally coming to a rest at the base of the ramp… face down… his hand stretched behind him upon his back.Remo slowly, methodically, stomps his way toward the fallen Gilmore. Taking his time, he lifts Gilmore off the lightly padded ringside floor in which to toss him square, shoulder-first, into the steel steps. In doing so, Gilmore collapses to the ground once again; now holding his shoulder as he attempts to, seemingly, pop it back into place.Lifting him off the ringside floor once again, Remo is shown lifting Gilmore on high with a guerilla press slam. After holding him up for a good 8 seconds, looking out on the crowd in which to prove a point, he’s stronger than Gilmore, the “Alpha Dog” is shown ending the maneuver by dropping him face-first upon the OTHER steel steps. Duane Fry: GOOD GOD! Jerry Eisen: Remo is DOMINATING Angry Gilmore… Angry rolls over onto the lightly padded ringside floor with a look of sheer pain upon his face. That said, despite the beating, he doesn’t lay still. He looks like he’s trying to get back up even though his body may not have the strength to do so.Pulling the steel steps out now, Remo looks like he’s about to execute his signature “Destroyer” (Dominator) square upon the freed steel steps. Duane Fry: Oh no… this won’t be good… Peter Michaels: He hits it… this match is done… Remo lifts Gilmore off the ground, up upon his shoulder; however, Gilmore slips out behind him. In doing so, he lands kind of awkwardly upon his right leg. While it produces another wince, Gilmore rises above his pain… spinning around instantly and hitting a front-end-neck-breaker (Stunner) square upon the, now, turned around Remo.As Remo bounces back from the front-end-neck-breaker, he ends up falling square upon the waiting steel steps; back first. Duane Fry: GO ANGRY!! TAKE ADVANTAGE!!! Jerry Eisen: Remo MAY have hit his head on the way down… He’s blinking a little weird… THIS IS GILMORE’S MOMENT!! Angry leaps up upon the apron and wastes no time diving off of it with a diving splash. In doing so, he collides with Remo; who still lays upon the steel steps. Duane Fry: BIG elbow drop!! As you can expect, Gilmore’s landing isn’t a pleasant one. He ends up crashing upon his knee square upon the steel steps. This forces him to roll off of the impact and ultimately spend a second on the unforgiving ringside floor below; holding his knee.Angry doesn’t take a break for long. He pulls himself back to his feet, kicking his leg back into motion, trying to shake off the pain, as he speeds back toward Remo.The “Alpha Dog” is slowly getting back to his feet as Gilmore leaps off of the steel steps, where Remo once laid, hitting the big man from behind with a diving closeline. Duane Fry: Angry Gilmore is NOT slowing down!! Jerry Eisen: He’s pulling out ALL the stops here!! The two collapse to the ringside floor below. Gilmore is the first back to his feet; however, Remo’s not too far behind.Gilmore goes for a suplex on the unforgiving ringside floor below. Big mistake. Remo is able to break the maneuver; pushing Gilmore down to the ground as he remains upright. In doing so, Angry Gilmore violently lands square upon the back of his head. Duane Fry: He needs to watch out though… after a year of neurological problems… an impact like THAT could REALLY do some damage here. Peter Michaels: The last thing he needs is another concussion… Angry may have suffered exactly that with his broken suplex attempt. He remains standing, not dropping down, in which to add a sense of power to the hold. Jerry Eisen: Remo has it!! The submission hold… He’s looking to choke out Gilmore RIGHT NOW! Luckily, Gilmore is aware of what’s going on. He speeds and shoves Remo, back-first, into the steel guardrail behind him. While the impact doesn’t break the hold right away, a second shove lands just right on his back; forcing him to let go. That said, in doing so, Gilmore’s head has hit the same guardrail twice over; forcing him to drop to his knees as well.Remo would be the first one back to the action; grabbing Gilmore from behind and tossing him INTO THE RING for the first time.Slowly entering the ring, again at a methodical pace, Remo eventually lifts Gilmore off the canvas. In doing so though, Gilmore lands a standing sidekick square to the head of the “Alpha Dog”. The impact forces Remo to drop to the canvas in a thunderous heap. In turn, Gilmore falls to the canvas as well. Duane Fry: BIG KICK! Jerry Eisen: Gilmore hit it JUST right! Remo’s on the mat!! Peter Michaels: He won’t quit… He’s comin’ at him… Eventually, both men would get to their feet around the same time. In doing so, Gilmore speeds aggressively toward his much larger opponent. In doing so, he lands a running front-drop-kick, double-legged, square upon Remo’s chest. This sends the “Alpha Dog” back peddling into the nearby ring corner. Meanwhile, despite a hard landing, Gilmore doesn’t slow down…Speeding again, Gilmore dives into the corner; landing a back elbow square upon the dazed big man.Slowly staggering out, Gilmore then hits a running bulldog that excites the crowd pretty masterfully!! Jerry Eisen: He’s feeling it!! Let’s see what he does from here!! In an attempt to take advantage of the moment, Gilmore quickly locks in a crossface submission hold upon the muscular heavyweight. Wrenching back, Angry puts ALL of his weight into the move. Remo roars out and, in doing so, expels enough power to break free from the hold.Gilmore tries it again… wrenching back…Remo breaks it ONCE again… roaring along with the break… Duane Fry: He CAN’T keep the crossface locked in!! Remo’s TOO powerful!! Gilmore tries for a 3rd time; however, Remo’s already on his knees at this point. This gives him enough room to not only break the move but to lift Gilmore off the canvas with a sidewalk –slam maneuver.With Gilmore down, Remo rolls his neck for a second, showing the previous move hindered him enough, as he now looks to lock in the VERY SAME move… A crossface hold. Duane Fry: OH GOD… He’s going to BREAK his neck with this!! Jerry Eisen: It looks A LITTLE different when Remo puts the lock in!! It’s looking bad for Gilmore… REALLY bad… they aren’t near ANY ropes for him to potentially break the hold.That said, somehow, someway, Gilmore is able to expel his own SHOCKING power to eventually squirm his way to the ropes. Remo, not wanting to give it up, continues the hold up until Darren Smith counts to 5. In doing so, extra damage is placed upon Gilmore’s neck & back.With Gilmore reeling, Remo takes to his power-game once again. A stiff closeline, heavy-handed haymakers, a running Powerslam, and a gut-wrench powerbomb are all used. In doing so, Gilmore looks to be teetering on the edge of his own consciousness. Duane Fry: Angry Gilmore is in a BAD way right now… Jerry Eisen: He can’t defend himself… he’s got that glazed over look in his eyes. Remo locks in a rear-naked choke upon Gilmore at this point. It REALLY looks like this could be the end of the match. Angry Gilmore is barely moving as he fights to keep his breath going. Duane Fry: This could be it, folks… Angry Gilmore simply doesn’t have the endurance left in him to withstand this… Jerry Eisen: This rear-naked choke is putting him to sleep! He’s going… I don’t think he can fight this off… Again, somehow, someway, Angry Gilmore is able to break the hold. How he did it? No one really knows. In the end, he was able to reach the ring ropes with a desperation grab. If he missed it this time… there’s a good chance he would have lost consciousness. In doing so, he would have lost the match.Angry Gilmore looks to be in terrible shape. He tries to swing at Remo in a depleted fashion; barely able to stand. Remo laughs this off and ultimately sends him BACK to the canvas with a singular leaping big boot of sorts.Gilmore is out… not moving…Remo flexes with power; no longer stoic. He’s now entirely enthralled in the action ahead of him. This is a BAD sign for Angry Gilmore.Lifting him off the canvas once again, Remo tosses Gilmore into the nearby ring corner. Well, that’s what he was trying. Gilmore collapses on his travels; landing a few feet before the turnbuckle. Duane Fry: Gilmore collapses… Jerry Eisen: He can’t even remain upright… Remo, smirking, slowly stomps toward the fallen and exhausted Gilmore. Lifting him off the canvas, he goes to throw him in the opposite corner… again… Angry only makes it a few steps before collapsing to the canvas. Duane Fry: Come ON! Now he’s just playing with his food here… Jerry Eisen: He’s enjoying this… Gilmore can’t fight back… Peter Michaels: He’s a sadistic man… that’s for damn sure. Again, Remo slowly walks over to his fallen opponent. In doing so, he lifts him off the canvas. Gilmore can barely stand as Remo looks him square in the face; smirking.He goes to toss him into the first corner once again; however, upon doing so, Angry Gilmore holds onto Remo’s arm. He pulls himself back toward the “Alpha Dog” and lands a DDT square in the corner of the ring. The thing is, he doesn’t let go after the DDT hits… Despite hitting his OWN head (back of the head) upon the canvas below, Gilmore holds onto the DDT position and locks in the front-DDT chokehold that Remo used earlier (and that both have used upon each other previously). Duane Fry: HE’S GOT HIM!! GILMORE’S GOT HIM!!! CHOKEHOLD! CHOKEHOLD!! Jerry Eisen: Oh my… CAN HE DO THIS??! As Remo pushes through his daze from the DDT, he now seems to realize what is happening. Not willing to take the hold, Remo shows his immense power by lifting himself, and Gilmore, square off the canvas; mid-submission hold. Angry Gilmore is lifted off the ground as he keeps the DDT-positioned choke-hold locked in. Jerry Eisen: REMO JUST LIFTED GILMORE OFF THE CANVAS!! Duane Fry: … but the chokehold is STILL locked in!! Remo tries to break the hold by slamming Gilmore into the nearby turnbuckle repeatedly. Each strike causing an immense amount of damage upon the already depleted Gilmore. Shockingly enough, despite such impacts, Gilmore never lets go… he keeps the move locked in. Duane Fry: He ISN’T letting go!! Gilmore STILL has the lock in!! Remo continues to slam Gilmore into the turnbuckle; however, despite the impacts, the much smaller technition NEVER loosens his grip.Over and over again… Remo fights it… but to no avail…He even rams Gilmore, back first, into the turnbuckle one last time… but… it doesn’t break the hold.Out of desperation, or possibly because he’s losing consciousness himself, Remo tries to drive Gilmore down to the canvas with a modified Spinebuster of sorts. That said, despite the impact upon the back of his head… Gilmore does NOT let go…Remo tries everything; maneuvering his body to break the hold… but to no avail…Ultimately, his massive frame, once menacing, begins to wane in power. He starts to slump a little… his body loses energy… air… strength… Duane Fry: OH MY GOD… THIS COULD BE IT!! Remo tries one last fight, trying to lift Gilmore off the canvas as he did earlier; however, in doing so, his strength runs out. He only makes it to his knees before dropping back to the canvas. Motionless… Whether he knows it happened or not… his hand stretches outward… shaky… devoid of the strength that’s indicative of the “Alpha Dog”… It looks as though he may actually tap; however, before you know it, he pulls that shaky hand back inward; into a push-up-like position. Duane Fry: Remo’s STILL fighting… He’s STILL trying to find a way out! Jerry Eisen: I don’t think he has enough power IN HIM to get out! THIS IS DONE!! I KNOW IT!! GILMORE’S ABOUT TO WIN!! Remo begins to push himself upward; however, like before, he crashes back to the canvas. This time, he didn’t even make it TO his knees.Slowly, the powerful frame of the “Alpha Dog” is shown gradually descending into weakness.Darren Smith dives to a knee, checking on Remo, as it appears as though he’s losing his battle with his OWN consciousness.Then… it happens… Remo goes limp… his body motionless… the usual power within his muscular frame… gone…Darren checks his arm and picks it up… It falls directly back to the canvas in at thunderous heap… 1…He does so again… again it collides violently with the canvas below… 2…For a third time, he lifts his arm up… letting it go…There’s no sense of life. In this vein, it’s quite comical, in a way, to realize that a basic leisurely step is far more productive than sitting behind a wheel of a machine that can top 100 miles an hour (given the right situation. This situation is not one of those).] [We’re presented a number of images from this street corner and nearby. Children playing upon a side street, rushing in between random cars, is the first image given. Their laughing, dodging, weaving, and relative excitement with one another tells a story of happiness amongst a purely concrete wasteland of sorts.] [From there, we witness another side of this very side street; a man sitting within a mound of trash (poverty), a spray painted car with the back passenger side window busted open (crime), and a passed out individual on the far sidewalk (addiction). Within all of the sadness though, all of the struggle, the urban warfare, there stands children… running… playing… laughing.] [ultimately, as we witness the sight of a rundown brick apartment complex, the windows busted open and the doorway falling off its hinges, we hear a familiar voice in the background… low… raspy… burly…] [steve Frehley©]: Survival is all I know… [Pauses] Even before I knew what it was… I was livin’ it. Duane Fry: Steve Frehley isn’t having ANY of Jack Bruce’s antics tonight. Jerry Eisen: Do you THINK that Rich Money got to Frehley? I mean, his ‘You’ll always be #2 when Jack is around’ speech seemingly turned the “Dark Destroyer’s” attitude as of late. He’s been more… well… pissed off… That smirk isn’t there anymore… Duane Fry: Possibly? I mean… to go after Bruce instead of Money right away? That’s not what I was expecting… not after all that’s gone on between Frehely and Money! Frehley doesn’t hit the deck. Actually, the strike from behind only really slows him down for a second. In reality, the “Dark Destroyer” shakes off the attack and ultimately overruns the SWF OWNER with the very heavy-handed haymakers once directed at Jack Bruce.A toss off the ropes seconds later is ultimately finished with a powerful standing closeline square to the neck of the “Supreme Dictator”. As you would expect, this strike forces Money to exit the ring in which to regain his composure. In doing so, he’s shown barking at Darren Smith to “do his job”; a remark that confuses almost everyone as Frehley didn’t do ANYTHING controversial to steamroll the SWF OWNER. Duane Fry: I don’t know WHAT Money’s complaining about? Peter Michaels: Who knows… he’s playin’ mind games… Back in the ring, Jack Bruce lands a number of quick strikes to the back of Frehley’s head. Seconds later though, Frehley is shown thwarting his rise with a jaw-rattling haymaker; staggering Bruce in the process.The knockout blow doesn’t take Bruce to his feet; however, seconds later, Steve is shown tossing Jack into the nearby ring ropes just as he did to Money prior.Frehley swings… Jack ducks… Hits the next ropes… Frehley swings a back elbow… Bruce ducks… Hits the ropes again…Flipping closeline from the flashy SWF ICON connects and sends Frehley to the canvas. The SWF NATION pops upon said impact. Jerry Eisen: BIG closeline!! Duane Fry: Jack Bruce is looking GREAT out there! Peter Michaels: He’s a true showman; that’s for damn sure. Frehley is quick to his feet once again; however, as he does so, Jack is shown knocking him BACK down with a high-hanging drop kick; one that shows off Bruce’s athleticism in the process.Frehley pretends to roll out of the ring, doing the same Money did before; however, stops himself halfway. In doing so, he’s able to slide back into the ring without Jack Bruce knowing…Jack is celebrating for the crowd; two lazily extended arms to the sky… smirking…He spins around…FREHLEY’S COMET (SPEAR)!!!!! Duane Fry: FREHLEY’S COMET!! FREHLEY’S COMET!! Jerry Eisen: BIG impact but… Money’s not going to let Frehley get the pin here!! Jack Bruce’s head snaps backward in a violent fashion; hitting the canvas in an even MORE violent fashion. In doing so, he’s barely moving as he lays upon his back; in the center of the ring.Frehley looks to be going for a pin when Rich Money slides under the ropes himself. In doing so, he speeds toward the action and is shown dropping a knee square upon the back of the Champ’s head. This thwarts ANY chance at an actual pin.OR… so we thought. Rich Money dives atop Jack Bruce, attempting to STEAL Steve Frehley’s pin; however, luckily, the pin is broken by the “Dark Destroyer” as he dives atop the two of them; breaking the count in the process. Duane Fry: Rich Money TRIED to steal Steve Frehley’s pin! Shouldn’t come as a shock… he’s NOTORIOUS for having OTHERS do his dirty work! Rich Money and Steve Frehely engage in a heated brawl now as Jack Bruce remains down on the canvas floor.The actual BRAWL itself leans in favor of Steve Frehley; a master of such fighting style..Eventually though, Money gains the upperhand as he lands a desperation drop-kick square to Frehley’s right knee. It doesn’t drop the champ to the canvas; however, slows him down for as second. As he leans over, gripping at his knee, Money slides in and lands a hard knee square to the champ’s injured jaw. As expected, this DOES drop Frehley to the canvas; square upon his back. Jerry Eisen: That injured jaw… Money just drove his knee SQUARE into Frehley’s injured jaw!! Duane Fry: I don’t think he’s 100% healed up. How COULD you be? He broke his jaw a month ago and now… he’s competing in the main event at “Supreme Challenge”… against 2 other MAJOR competitors… This is going to be a TOUGH go for him… Money follows up his knee strike with a couple, well-placed, knee drops around the body of the champ. One to the stomach, the next to the leg, and finally square across his injured jaw once again.Money even locks in a side headlock as they both lay upon the canvas. This puts GREATER pressure on the injured jaw. This hold is utilized for a good 30-seconds before the champ is able to grab the nearby ring rope.As they return to their feet, Rich Money speeds toward the depleted champion; however, upon doing so, is sent BACK out of the ring with a back-body-drop over the top rope! Jerry Eisen: There goes Money!! Frehley follows closely behind. Upon hitting the lightly padded ringside floor, Frehley picks up the SWF OWNER and slams his head square upon the black commentary desk at ringside. This action is repeated 2 more times before Money crashes back to the unforgiving ringside floor.Frehley then stomps the living HELL out of Money as he remains on the ground. The SWF NATION pops rather loudly for this.What Frehley DOESN’T realize is that Jack Bruce is now back to his feet; staggered a little… but upright once again. Duane Fry: Jack’s up… Jerry Eisen: Something doesn’t look right here… What’s he thinking? Duane Fry: He’s looking to fly!! Jack hits the ropes behind him and eventually dives over the top rope with a diving splash. His back feet don’t even come close to hitting the ropes in the process as he descends square upon Frehley. The two crash to the ground in a thunderous heap; both men taking the brunt of the spot. Duane Fry: WHAT A DIVE!! Jerry Eisen: NO ONE goes airborne like Jack Bruce!! Peter Michaels: This place is as LOUD as ever!! Due to the severity of the impact, both Frehley and Bruce take a while to get back to their feet. In doing so, Money is able to return to his feet at the same time; placing ALL three upright… staggered… but upright.With a flair for the extreme, Jack Bruce springs in Steve Frehley’s direction; taking BOTH of them onto the commentary table, over it, and crashing onto the floor behind it. In doing so, the commentary team is forced to move quickly… standing by the sides. Duane Fry: Almost got knocked out by Jack Bruce’s boot there! Jerry Eisen: Well… we got to see the action FIRST hand! Darren Smith continues his count; however, is going at a VERY slow pace. Luckily, before we hit 10, all three men are back in the ring; however, Rich Money is looking the best of all three.Rich Money knocks Jack Bruce to the canvas with a strong closeline of his own. Seconds later, he drops Steve Frehley with a double-underhook DDT.In FIRM control, Rich Money pauses for a second in which to praise himself; smirking as he nods… looking out at the crowd. As expected, the SWF NATION boos heavily.A few well-placed knees and elbow strikes keep BOTH Frehley and Bruce down. That said, not for long.Money lifts Frehley off the canvas first; tossing him into the nearby turnbuckle. The champ looks slightly dazed.That said, as he exits his own corner, speeding toward Frehley’s, he’s met with an unexpected flipping closeline from a returning Jack Bruce. In this case, Jack leaps to his feet and does a standing flip as he connects with the closeline from the side. Duane Fry: OH!! I don’t think Money saw that coming!! Jerry Eisen: NO ONE DID! Peter Michaels: You don’t become a 4-time World Heavyweight Champion without knowin’ where ya are at all times. He may prance around here like a showmen but Bruce ‘gets it’… he knows how to make an impact when it’s needed! Jack Bruce catapults himself back to his feet and starts to stomp away on the fallen Money. While doing so, Frehley regains his composure and speeds out of his corner. He looks to connect with another “Frehley’s Comet”; however, this time, Bruce is able to dive out of the way. Instead, Frehley misses and lands face down on the canvas. As he gets back upright, looking to run BACK toward Bruce, it’s the rebellious rocker that gets the best of the champ; taking him BACK to the canvas with a leaping double-kick to Frehley’s chest.The SWF NATION is roaring as Jack Bruce looks to be riding a MAJOR wave of momentum. Duane Fry: JACK… IS… FEELING IT!! Peter Michaels: If these guys don’t pick it up… Jack Bruce is goin’ to win this one… pretty soon! Jack takes to the nearby top rope. Waiting for his turn, he dives down and connects with a missile dropkick square upon an ascending Rich Money.Bouncing back to his feet, he waits for Steve Frehely…Frehley is upright… staggered… he spins around…Jack Bruce speeds in his direction… latches onto his head…NO!! He was going for a “New York Minute” but Frehley blocked it; shoving Bruce off in the process. Duane Fry: SO close!! Jerry Eisen: Bruce ALMOST had a “New York Minute” there! This one COULD have been ALL over with!! Peter Michaels: Frehley had the wherewithal to know what was comin’… he reacted… pushed Bruce off… and he’s still fightin’ because of it! Frehley drops back toward the ropes for a second, gaining his strength, as he now awaits Bruce’s return to his feet.Jack Bruce DOES return to his feet and is ultimately tossed BACK to the canvas by a fireman’s carry slam by the champ.The impact takes the breath SQUARE out of Bruce… he rolls over onto his stomach in pain.Frehley follows this up by picking Bruce off the canvas; tossing him off the ropes…Frehley swings… Bruce ducks… hits the ropes again… Frehley goes for a back elbow again… misses as Bruce ducks under… he hits the ropes again…Unlike last time though, Frehley is aware enough to follow Bruce closely behind. In doing so, as Bruce hits the ropes, Frehley is ready with a hard knee square to his stomach. This sends the rebellious rocker toppling over in a dramatic flip. Duane Fry: SMART move by Frehley… he learned from last time! Jerry Eisen: A lot of people underestimate Steve Frehley. They think he’s ALL fists… [slight Pause] That’s not the case. You don’t carry the World Heavyweight Championship for a year and only possess one-dimension. This guy is really QUICK in the ring… Peter Michaels: ALL the bests have that trait… Frehley is NO different. Frehely continues by stomping the living HELL out of Frehley with GREAT intensity. This keeps the rebellious rocker down for quite some time.Money looks to take advantage of Frehley’s lack of focus upon him, rising to his feet and looking for a school-boy-roll-up. He rolls him up but only gets a 2 count.As they both return to their feet, Money thwarts the champ with a diving drop kick, once again, to Frehley’s knee.This is followed up by a leg-lock submission in the corner of the ring. This hold doesn’t last long, as Frehley grabs the rope after 10 seconds within it, but it does slow him down a bit.Back upright, Frehley eventually KO’s Money once again with a stiff uppercut followed by a running bulldog (where he only grabs the back of Money’s hair instead of locking in his head).Tossing Money out of the ring once again, Frehley follows close behind. Jerry Eisen: They’re heading out here again! Frehley grabs for a table and ultimately sets it up after landing a few more heavy handed strikes to the back of Money’s head.The table is set up RIGHT next to the squared circle; maybe a few feet away. Seeing this, Frehely tosses Money up onto the apron and follows close behind. In an awkward fashion, Frehley eventually gets Money into the position where he’s looking to drop the SWF OWNER square on the table with a piledriver. That said, it doesn’t happen as Money is able to block it and squirm out.With both on the apron, they begin to brawl…The brawling continues until it looks like Money has lost the fight; barely holding onto the top rope and teetering backward as if he could fall off the apron and through the table. Duane Fry: Money MAY be going for a ride!!! Frehley lands one more heavy-handed strike but Money holds on.That said, Jack Bruce is now back upright and in the mood for chaos.With a smirk on his face, he rises to his feet in a quick fashion… speeding in their direction…He doesn’t go for Money thought….Jack Bruce actually kicks Steve Frehley square in the jaw with a Superkick. In doing so, Frehley’s body goes limp… Falling backward, he falls from the apron and crashes square through the table in the process. Duane Fry: OH!! Steve Frehley just CRASHED through that table!! Jerry Eisen: I think he was unconscious when he started to fall… He’s not moving!! Steve Frehley is OUT COLD!! Money drives his shoulder into Jack Bruce’s stomach from the apron; using the ropes for leverage. This sends the rebellious rocker staggering.Money then takes control by sliding back into the ring and diving forward; chop-blocking Bruce’s right knee from behind.Meanwhile, Steve Frehley is lying motionless in the rubble of the former table…In the ring, Rich Money is working over Jack Bruce in every way possible; knee drops, elbow drops, leg drop, etc.He even takes to the turnbuckle and dives off the middle rope with a diving front-elbow strike (Bret Hart-style).The SWF NATION is booing like crazy as Money toys with them; mocking Jack Bruce as his rival lay in pain upon the canvas.Another toss off the ropes is ended with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from Money. In doing so, he puts forth a stadium-shaking display of excitement.Almost superhuman, Jack Bruce begins to block… reverse… and ultimately overcome almost EVERYTHING that Rich Money puts forth.Money IS able to slow his rise down, reversing a blocked suplex attempt into a DDT; however, even THAT doesn’t keep Bruce down for that long.Before you know it… Jack Bruce is going FULL FORCE… running… diving… springing… all in an exciting fashion.An elbow drop off the top rope gives Jack Bruce a 2 ½ count before Money is SOMEHOW able to kickout. Duane Fry: OH!!! I THOUGHT HE HAD IT THERE!!! Jerry Eisen: I don’t know HOW Rich Money kicked out there!! As Rich Money winces, struggling to get back upright, Jack Bruce stands off into the nearby corner. He starts to fling his hair around in a dramatic fashion… charged with energy… looking like he could EXPLODE square out of his boots.Money slowly gets to his feet… slowly… very slowly… using the nearby ring ropes as a crutch.He looks to be not all there as the camera catches his ascent…As he spins around, Jack speeds in his direction and lands a heavy boot square to his stomach. Seconds later, he grabs Money’s neck with his hands; cradling it with his arms as well. Duane Fry: It’s COMING!!! THE NEW YORK MINUTE!! Jack waits for a second, looking out at the crowd with a smirk on his face as they ROAR with excitement. Meanwhile, Rich Money doesn’t seem to have enough energy, or wherewithal, to know HOW to break out of this impending maneuver.Eventually, he turns to extend outward and…BAM!!!!!!! “FREHLEY’S COMET”!!!!!!!!!!!! Duane Fry: OH MY GOD!! “FREHLEY’S COMET”!!!! FREHLEY’S COMET! Jerry Eisen: WHERE DID FREHELY COME FROM?!?!? Peter Michaels: This one’s OVER! As Bruce was toying with Money, Steve Frehley was struggling to his feet on the outside. Meanwhile, as Jack went to utilize his finisher, Frehley snuck into the ring rather quickly, taking NO time for waiting, and sped RIGHT into his signature spear maneuver.Jack Bruce, like the last time, is forced into a VIOLENT downturn; crashing viciously upon the unforgiving canvas below.Meanwhile, Rich Money topples to the canvas as well; taking a slight impact from the spear; however, having Bruce between the two of them (sandwiching) causes him NOT to take as much damage.Frehley struggles to his feet… however… upon doing so… he looks out upon the crowd… breathing heavily… almost crazy in his eyes… YELLING at the very top of his lungs in an alpha-warrior fashion.As the champ flexes, roaring aggressively, he looks like an absolute BEAST of a man! Duane Fry: PIN HIM!! PIN HIM!! Jerry Eisen: Steve Frehley HAS to go for the pin here! This COULD be the END… BUT… he NEEDS to pin Bruce!! Eventually, Steve Frehley spins around and brutishly stomps toward the fallen Jack Bruce.He drops to his knees… going for the pin of a lifetime…1…2…Rich Money BREAKS the count at the VERY LAST SECOND. Duane Fry: OHHHHH!!!! I THOUGHT HE HAD IT!! NO!!! Jerry Eisen: Jack Bruce is KO’ed now… It’s Frehley and Money… They’re going to decide WHO will walk out tonight with the belt! Peter Michaels: Bruce MAY be down right now… don’t count him out… he could STILL win this one; depends on what happens next! Frehley looks pissed; his spit is all over his own face… he looks rather primal in fashion.He waits for Money to stand upright before landing a HEAVY haymaker square across his jaw. This sends the SWF OWNER reeling; crashing into the ropes behind him. That said, remaining upright.Frehley lands ANOTHER ONE… this sends Money crashing to the canvas and Frehley dropping to his knee due to the immense POWER behind the strike. Duane Fry: Frehley MAY have just knocked-out Rich Money with that last punch! Jerry Eisen: There isn’t a BETTER brawler in ALL of professional wrestling… Steve Frehley REALLY lands some VICIOUS blows!! Instead of going for the pin, Frehley waits for Money to return to his feet…Again… He sends Money BACK to the canvas with ANOTHER heavy-handed haymaker!! Duane Fry: Frehley is going to KNOCK Money’s HEAD OFF with these!! This time, Money isn’t quick to get up… not at all…Seeing this, Frehley takes to his corner… awaiting Money’s ascension…He bends down slightly; dropping his shoulder like a focused linebacker.He yells in a husky fashion; watching… waiting… anticipating Money’s return to his feet! Jerry Eisen: He’s setting up for ANOTHER “Frehley’s Comet”!! This could be it!! If he connects… THIS one is OVER! Duane Fry: Jack Bruce won’t be able to break this one! He’s not moving… He’s out cold! This one is FREHLEY’S TO WIN!! Again, further booing continues. With time, the crowd would grow louder with disdain as Money brings the championship down, turning it toward his face, and kissing his own shiny reflection. It’s the very same thing he’s done once before; after beating Jack Bruce in December of 2011.] [Laughing to himself once again, the smug owner, and now World Champion, soaks in the moment as a shower of confetti is shown falling from the ceiling. Twisting and turning in every which direction, this scenario creates quite the spectacle. Also, quite the mess around the ringside area. That said, Money seems to be enjoying every second of it in smug glory; defiant of the crowd before him.] [We also witness the sight of Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce struggling to regain their collective composure while being seemingly buried in confetti. While their moving, it’s easy to see that neither is really all ‘there’ in the given moment. This is made more evident by the fact that said confetti continues to pile upon their exhausted and struggling bodies.] Duane Fry: Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce gave it their ALL tonight. They warred with the best of them… Sadly… it didn’t bring either of them the victory. Jerry Eisen: You wonder… if Frehley and Bruce COULD have worked together. Would the outcome have been different? I mean, if they COULD have focused their attention on beating Money down, would we have a different man walking out with the belt tonight? Peter Michaels: That wasn’t goin’ to happen. Frehley and Bruce ‘aint friends… they’re nothin’ like friends. They can’t stand eachother and, tonight, that all boiled over. Duane Fry: It’s a BAD time for that all to boil over… Jerry Eisen: It really is… Duane Fry: At the end of the day, it was a triple threat match; not a handicap match. Bruce and Frehley didn’t come into this on eachother’s ‘side’. They came to win; to walk out with the title. That pushed both of them to give EVERYTHING they had… and… in doing so… take it to one another at every turn. [ultimately, the final image of “Supreme Challenge 33” is that of the “Supreme Dictator” standing tall with the SWF World Heavyweight Championship in hand. Projecting a smug smirk, the biggest we’ve seen from the villainous owner, there’s an air that the worst has yet to come. More or less, the SWF, in this moment, has descended upon a slippery slope to rock-bottom. There’s no denying what this win means… Rich Money is not only the SWF OWNER… not only the SWF World Heavyweight Champion… but NOW… THE… Most Powerful Man… In ALL…of professional wrestling.] GRADE: B+ Duane Fry: As the confetti falls from the sky… We’re left with a less than celebratory moment. Rich Money, the “Supreme Dictator”, the man who manipulated his way into SWF ownership, is now our SWF World Heavyweight Champion. He has everything… EVERYTHING… he’s EVER wanted… at one time… without anyone to tell him ‘no’… Jerry Eisen: The rich get richer, Duane. This is just an example of that. Rich Money spent the last few months booking the SWF to fit HIS vision. That vision is, and has been, ENTIRELY self-serving. He can book his path however he wants. Hell, if they do nip, he’ll book them into the ground as well. Like many other readers, I'd expected this would be Money's time to become World Heavyweight champ, but the execution, the setup and the whole of SC33 has been second to none. Can't wait to see the fallout after SC33, and good job in particular (as far as the last part goes) for that excellent setup for a Gilmore-Davids feud. Will be looking forward to that. In greater detail:</p><p> </p><p> Opening video was well done and hyped the event beautifully. Loved it.</p><p> </p><p> Tag Title Match: Entertaining, fun, solid opener. I wanted UU to win but I understand the decision to leave the belts on the champs.</p><p> </p><p> Money's promo: Not the best of his promos but a even an average Money promo is better than 99% of everyone else's best. It maintained my feeling that you have subliminal messaging in his promos that say "YOU WILL HATE ME!"</p><p> </p><p> Idol/Chord: A little surprised at the match grade actually. If Chord can get a B from Cougar, why only a C+ with Rocky in a popularity based fed? That being said, the whole thing was booked and written up perfectly. Rocky needed the win, Chord needed the post match attack. Both got it. Chord IS my role model.</p><p> </p><p> Marat/Giant: That hype video was amazing! Really made the match feel special. Well done sir. The match itself? I honestly thought it would be a train wreck. It wasn't, it was actually not bad, considering who was in it. A C+ with those to is as good as it can get. Plus the right guy won. Although I wouldn't mind seeing Giant pick up some kind of feel good win in a tv tag match or something.</p><p> </p><p> The Establishment Promo: Did a good a job of setting Eric's future up and making us hate Money. Although it was a touch bizarre for me to see a promo where Chase was cast in sympathetic role when she's so... well... hateable.</p><p> </p><p> Davids/Big Cat: I would never have guessed how good that match was gonna be. Again, the right guy won, it was an entertaining match with good action.</p><p> </p><p> Bruce's Promo: I'm a Bruce mark so obviously, I loved this. It was the perfect babyface rockstar promo. Good grade, good writing, loved it.</p><p> </p><p> Atomic/Eisen: Another good match and the right guy won for the Eric storyline to continue. The meltdown was excellently done. Now I have no idea what he's gonna do next.</p><p> </p><p> Valiant/Zim-Me: Holy crap what a match and follow up. The grades didn't show it but possibly, in terms of emotional content, the best segment you did on the show. If you didn't get choked up for Val/Hannah, you have no soul.</p><p> </p><p> Faith/Vengeance: Wow. Chord is my role model but Faith might just be my hero. What a match, what a match, what a damn match! I don't even have words.</p><p> </p><p> Angry/Remo: Again wow! On the whole, great match. It's usually a pet peeve for me that submission matches contain more brawling than submission attempts, which much of the match was in the beginning. However, it was an awesome brawl. After that came an awesome exchange of submissions. So you made it exactly what it was supposed to be. Which was awesome. And the Davids attack? Beautiful.</p><p> </p><p> Frehely's promo: Hands down the promo of his career. Honestly, that was a, no pun intended, a money promo! Even my wife read it and thought it was amazing.</p><p> </p><p> The Main Event: Great match, well written. That being said, the finish left me flat. I think Money is likely better chasing the belt than having it. That being said, you've earned my trust. So I'm more than willing to go with you on this. </p><p> </p><p> To sum up, the show was amazing, thank you so much. The villain wanting the power the hero has and failing would logically lead to the villain getting the power, abusing it for a while, to the hero getting it back (or to really swerve things up an even bigger villain taking it.) Frehley steamrolled him and, ultimately, proved himself to be a legit player at the top. Now, some 7 months into the game, it was important, in my mind, for Money to finally capture the top prize. Now, this ushers in a new era for Money… “The Most Powerful Man in Professional Wrestling”. That’s his new perspective; if that gives you any insight as to what will follow. I’ve LONG wanted to tell the story of an owner who carries the belt (as it creates for A LOT of drama). Honestly, this part of the story arch is really where I was most excited; as it opens up the playing field considerably. As smwilliams eluded to, the process of someone trying to get the belt off of him will be quite a daunting task (and scenario). If I’m able to book this right, it could really be beneficial to all included. That said, I will tell you right now, I have no interest in setting up WHO will take it from him this early… I’m more focused on what Money’s reign looks like for the foreseeable future. Money can’t buy you happiness? Well… Rich Money is defying that right now. He had his belt ripped from him by Eric Eisen, seriously injured and suffered neurological damage (so we think thus far), then he tried to tackle the Russian of Mass Destruction and ultimately was left for dead in Moscow. He’s had one of the toughest roads of them all. That said, the win at “SC33” really gives him the boost he needed. That one win, in my eyes, sets him RIGHT back in the main event title scene. More or less, to produce on the biggest show, against one of the baddest competitors, gives him a great deal of bragging rights. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As for the match being more brawled-based than submission, my reason for that was centered on their hatred for one another. This was never to really be a legit submission match. The stipulation was added in which to 1) play into what Angry Gilmore was looking to do (choke out Remo) and 2) add considerable challenge as to make Remo submit is a severely daunting task. With that in mind, they both came into this match with an axe to grind; which brought out more of a brawling, chaotic, intense scenario. In reality, this could have been more so booked as a “Knockout Match” versus a Submission Match (due to both looking to choke the other out; not really force them into a submission hold per se). Ultimately though, I feel it told the story pretty well… David needing EVERYTHING… to beat Goliath. In the end, no weapon… or cheap shot was needed to win… just hardened… endless… impenetrable… determination. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Des Davids getting his ‘moment’:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I knew I didn’t want Gilmore to bask in the sun for very long. Christian Faith had the moment, in a way; so, to have them both come away as the proud victor would feel a little cheesy. In this case, with one attack, Des Davids instantly shoved himself onto the main event scene. Overall though, there may be more to this story than one would think… </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong>Eric Eisen meltdown; Atomic retains:</strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Captain Atomic needed the win here. The North American Championship took a backseat in the 1st half of 2013. That’s my fault. I don’t want that to happen again; so, I knew I needed to make the champion seem strong here. Now, Atomic can usher in a stronger showing for the NA title. I’m a BIG Atomic mark and have some ideas coming for him down the road. This run with the belt is my time to really give him a ‘go’ and see what happens…</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As for Eric Eisen melting down, I love his character more than I ever have before. There are so many different directions he could go in at this point. What will happen when SupremeTV comes back and Money’s standing there with the belt in his hands; smugly smirking as if he owns the entire world? How will Eric Eisen respond to that? To the obvious demeaning conversations/lectures that follow for Eisen? It’s going to be really interesting to see. That show is a major crossroads where Kill Switch will defend his Underground Championship, once again, against Paul Huntingdon. This time around though, by decree of Money, if Kill Switch wins… Underground is no longer (dismantled by Rich Money). If Huntingdon wins, the show remains on the air. With such a major story there, I knew I had to throw that in there before taking a brief break.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> From there, yes, I plan to take a slight break. How long will it last? Not very long probably. I tend to say I’m going to take some time and then eventually jump back into the fold. This time around is a bit different though. “SC33” took a lot out of me. Plus, I really want to plan out my upcoming storylines before jumping back into bed so to speak. I was booking to a point (SC33) and, now that the show is over, I want to make sure that the 2nd half of 2013 is as riveting as the 1st half. How long will the hiatus take? As long as I need, I guess, to get a good creative direction for everyone. Longevity, in a lot of cases, is how we perceive success on the GDS boards; creative writing and booking as well. At points, it really sucked to know that. I would stress over it (when in reality, I shouldn’t have). With time though, I dug myself out of my rut. How? I focused on what I wanted to write… the stories I wanted to tell… the characters that I found interesting. In that vein, it was less important about what happened outside…more about what happened inside. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As 21st said, this IS my creative outlet. Brainstorm… Plan… Create… tinker… evolve… your projects before they even hit the board. Money as the champion needed to happen, now we need a hero. I'm sure Frehley will get a rematch or two, but I can't see him capturing the gold again for a while. Jack Bruce will be in the mix, but I get the sneaky feeling you want to keep him far away from the belt. Right now, I got my money on Eisen or Gilmore being the savior of the SWF far along down the line. You have so many possibilities to go with this, and I cannot wait to be apart of the ride. Love the name Carnage as well, should be a nice feud with the Underwater Union It's been great to run with the "Unknown Man in a Steel Mask" for the last 2 months or so now. It's created this notion that he didn't belong. That he wasn't an actual SWF wrestler but some freak who wandered in and violently assaulted everyone who got in his path. That said, it's great to now be at the point where he has a name: Carnage. He probably still won't have music, and won't really act like he's an active wrestler on the roster, but at least now we have something to call him by. I agree though. He and Underwater Union will create an interesting little storyline. Best episode of Underground yet. I mark for Kill Switch; he reminds me of a young Raven with more personality. Thank you, mit! I could totally see Kill Switch as a young Raven. I wish Switch had Raven's entertainment skills though! WOW! That would change a lot of things for me there. Idol winning wasn't a surprise for me, but truth is this feud is not over...or is it? Chord's tantrum after the match was AWESOME. Bruce the Giant reminds me of Andre...but why is he being a JTTS here? Anyway, the rating of the match surprised me, i'm excited to see what you're going to do with both now. Des stole one...OH YEAH. Now, Money's next promo with Eisen is going to be pure gold. I can't wait to see where you go with Eric now that his position in The Establishment is on the limbo. And talking about The Establishment...where is Hammer? OH MY GOD THE ZIMSTER HAS DEFEATED VALIANT! THE F'N ZIMSTER, MY FAVORITE WRESTLER IN THE CV, HAS DEFEATED VALIANT! Kudos to you, E-V. Now this is officially my favorite CV diary in the forums. You're pushing the right people, and i'm hooked to your storylines. Now, Val is going to get angry, pal. WOW. Faith winning was definitely the surprise of the night. I thought that he was done for good, but then, he's really the Iron Man, i guess. Gilmore won Great one, but now it looks like that he's on to get Double D over...and is Remo losing his position in the group too? Can't wait to see. A great main event, and very good writing. But Money winning really surprised me, because i wanted JACK [CENSOR] BRUCE, but this got me so hooked too. Kudos to you for a awesome Supreme Challenge. Congratulations. That song is how I envision his character; arrogant, strong, a little coy. Rich Money's song is to display more grandiosity and, in a way, a sense of culture. I struggled with his for a long time but I'm really happy with his choice. Rocky Idol is to be the physical version of a He-man/Conan/Hercules kind of character; so, I wanted something big, heroic, and powerful. Jay Chord's song really sums him up well too; pissed, a little 'off', and unable to control himself. John Greed/Squeeky McClean is rather subdued; however, I envision audio of both of them 'preaching' to be heard over the top of it (grainy filter to add some creepiness to it as well). Finally, Zim-ME's fits him perfectly; couldn't choose a better sound, song, group to define how I see him.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TIMETABLE FOR RETURN</span></strong></p><p> It's going to be a little bit longer before this project is 100% active as it pertains to cards/shows. Up until then, I plan to post some news articles (both from SWF.com and Powerhousenews.com most likely). Furthermore, I plan on creating a basic post to show you were everyone's overness level and momentum is at right now (post SC-33). There has been some considerable shifts since the start of the game; so, I thought that would be a good way to give you some insight into how things are progressing from within the game. In reality, it's all being done for a reason/purpose. The narrative is that Bruce is not 100% due to his size and age. He's a LEGEND but, like most LEGENDS, at some point, their body fails them. That's where we are at with Bruce. He can still put up one hell of a fight but, when matched with Khoklov, he simply couldn't withstand the pain put for by the "Russian of Mass Destruction". Plus, when he lost to Money, it was done so in a way that, again, incorporated Khoklov's youth and power over Bruce. So, thus far, his 'losses' have come at the hand (or influence) of one man (Marat Khoklov). Will this trend continue? Possibly. You're physical condition can't progress so well if you're in a sport where your body takes such damage as pro wrestling. He's more than just a former tag wrestler now. In theory, people can devalue his win because it came at the distraction of Val accidentally DDT'ing Hannah and then slipping into shock/fear/devastation. I don't see it that way though. Zim-ME is a vile heel; so, he'll take the win, and look good (even just character wise), for doing so. That's why he struggled to contend with "The Demon" at the January and February PPV. In both of those cases, it looked impossible to beat Vengeance (as, in January, "The Demon" didn't even hit the canvas once). All in all, I built that narrative so that, come the biggest PPV of the year, Faith could rise to the occasion and prove that... sometimes...
