That said, like HBK in the 90's, I can't surpass someone like Minnesota. His upside, for the SWF, is FAR to big to pass on by. It's much like Jay Chord as well. That said, the bulk of the 'push' (overness change) came in TCW (C to a C+). From there, Jay has moved up to a B- since coming to the SWF (Which is great but it's only been a few months). </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Truly, the greatest leap in overness thus far has to be Captain Atomic (who jumped from a C to a B+ by this time). Actually, I've been most impressed with EV's use of Atomic. I've NEVER like the guy when I've run the Cornellverse in my own games. Never saw him as anything but roided throw back to a dead era. EV has made him an interesting character that I actually enjoy. The only thing that has soured me on him again was his refusal to lose a match.</p><p> </p><p>

Obviously, I'm the diary's resident Jay Chord mark but I also still get a kick out of Money as a character. He's the perfect heel and I feel like he follows what I think it was Michael Hayes(someone correct me if I'm wrong) said "You don't rake the eyes because you have to, you do it because you want to." Money is that guy. He's good enough to win 99% of matches but still cheats because he enjoys it.</p><p> </p><p>

The flipside of that is Jay Chord. Jay does all those things not because he wants to or needs to. Jay does it because of what it symbolizes to us. Jay is like the reverse Dusty Rhodes. Dusty's the American Dream, Jay's the American Nightmare. Everything Jay does is done like it's a commentary on us. On our society. He's such an excellent out of the box type character.</p>

To me, he's a combo of Ultimate Warrior and a current day Ryback. Honestly, that's probably the best comparison (how I see him in my head). Awesome show. I got both my Chase and Frehley turns correct. But that Emma was the owner of Underground...i didn't see that coming. And Hammer getting another push looks good. The Trinity's third member looks very predictable to me, but i'll leave that to its own time. The Jack Giedroyc gimmick looks pretty cool IMO too. As is the possible Khoklov vs. Vengeance feud.

 

Only bad thing about all the show was that...Zim-ME looked completely like a chump, man. He lost thrice to Atomic, and it might be just because i'm a Zim-ME mark, but he could have had just a DQ non-title win over Cap.

 

But it's the only bad thing. The show was awesome and i'm a loyal follower of this. Just hope you have better and bigger things for The Zimster.

He lost three separate matches, one via DQ, but that was all done for a reason. I love Zim-ME. I think his character suits him well & brings out a new look/attitude. That said, I just don't see him as a 'major player' right now. I will be honest, I found out that Atomic was unable to do the job as I had planned for Zim-ME to win one of those matches. That said, I was okay with Atomic's demands for not losing to him (A B+ versus a C-; I wouldn't want to lose either).
