Just a quick note to say that I absolutely ADORE Gilmore, Idol and Cap. I've loved Captain Atomic ever since I started playing TEW and to see him in your character is just awesome.

Some built-up thoughts:

 

I love the concept of Idol (a cool, heroic, "golden boy"), Gilmore (intense), and Atomic (goofball) teaming together and the execution has been brilliant. It's like one of those old comedy troupes. Playing them off the super serious Chord, Minnesota, and Ino was another stroke of genius. My guess is that Gilmore, Chord, and Minnesota end up on the better side of this whole thing.

 

That was an amazing ending to this past show. A redeemed Eric Eisen finally conquering his demons (sort of) was an excellent conclusion to this little mini-arc he's had, especially since I can't imagine he'll be walking out champ. My only criticism is that outside of Bruce, the other top faces have been neutered. Faith has gotten his ass kicked ten ways from Sunday. Vengeance is turning human and being attacked by Frehley. I think Eisen's push is a good thing because it gives you a truly strong face to play off Money.

 

Davids and Valiant is super interesting because it's totally old school. Hero steps up to the plate against a cocky, young gun. I could absolutely see this in like 1992 with Shawn Michaels playing Davids and a different version of Bret Hart playing Valiant.

 

I think the best thing about this dynasty is the use of your top guys to carry the show while filling in with some midcard workers you really like. If I had to guess, the only guys with cemented spots on every Supreme TV are:

 

Faces: Bruce, Faith, Eisen, Vengeance, Gilmore/Idol/Atomic, Valiant

Heels: Establishment, Trinity, Frehley, Davids

 

Quick look at the roster shows those guys all auto-push as Main Eventers which makes sense.

Yea, I've been a big fan of Captain Atomic as well (before this game as well). I knew I wanted to give him a strong focus in this project; however, it wasn't until this episode that he finally made sense to me as a character. He's simple-minded, roided out, loud-mouthed, 80's wrestler meat-head (Zubaz, fanny pack, yellow headband, white tank top, etc.).

 

How can you NOT want to push that?

I've got to admit. The pairing was a shot in the dark at first. I knew I wanted an 'SE-type' group to go against The Trinity in which to better define Chord/Minnesota/Ino. Even when I had Atomic/Idol/Gilmore at first, I didn't really realize what I had (or how I would write them) until I started to go through their first segment together. Now, it's one of my favorite things to write for on SupremeTV (this last segment being one of my favorite segments that I've ever written in this project).

There's always a chance. I'm higher on Eric Eisen than most; it seems. Part of my reason is because I'm guessing, seeing how is Father owns the company, he'll need to be 'up at the top' as much as possible. Also, as of late, he's really surprised me with some great matches/angles. Finally, we've got the Establishment/Family rivalry going on right now; which would be furthered by Eisen walking out with the belt. I guess, never say never there.

 

It was a HUGE win for Eric's ark though. I believe it really cements him as a face now; turning on Money, taking the brunt of Money's hatred, and coming out on top. In my mind, even with a flash pin, this makes him 'legit'.

Christian Faith and Vengeance have taken quite the beating lately. That said, their downfall, as of late, has been more about their age/dwindling health. From day one, I wanted to tell this story of decline for Faith. It seems realistic to me & telling of how Faith has gone from being a LEGEND to that of an underdog (due to his diminished ability to simply walk without looking stiff & beaten down). With Vengeance, again, it's about the storyline of him 'losing the virus' that is being 'the demon'. So, now human, he's showing his age & has to re-learn how to 'win a match' without using his powers.

 

As for the other babyfaces, I feel as though there are some examples of those who have succeeded in 2013 (despite a heavy-heel focus):

1) Captain Atomic (most successful figure of 2013 if you ask me)

2) Angry Gilmore (to an extent; SC33 & the win over Remo really catapulted him upward)

3) Rocky Idol (Despite losing a few matches on PPV recently, he's 10-3 since coming to the SWF)

4) The Awesomeness (New Tag Team Champions and on a surge going up)

 

The Awesomeness is a little subjective as their push is just starting. Gilmore could be challenged but he's been on a roll since SC33; beating Remo, Davids, and Minnesota. Also, Rocky Idol has lost to Jay Chord & The Trinity in recent months; however, he came in super strong. Now, he's just needing to get 'back on track'.

 

Davids and Valiant is super interesting because it's totally old school. Hero steps up to the plate against a cocky, young gun. I could absolutely see this in like 1992 with Shawn Michaels playing Davids and a different version of Bret Hart playing Valiant.

 

I like your view on the feud. I can totally see where you're coming from with this.

 

Honestly, I feel as though Davids/Valiant could really show up as a stand-out feud down the road. I kept on envisioning their match as a throwback to HHH/Rock back when they were both moving up the ranks. I just remember that both men took it to one another (the ladder match most in my mind) and solidified themselves (at the same time) to be big names on the rise. More or less, I see the same with Valiant/Davids. Just a good ole' fashion feud.

 

I think the best thing about this dynasty is the use of your top guys to carry the show while filling in with some midcard workers you really like. If I had to guess, the only guys with cemented spots on every Supreme TV are:

 

Faces: Bruce, Faith, Eisen, Vengeance, Gilmore/Idol/Atomic, Valiant

Heels: Establishment, Trinity, Frehley, Davids

 

Quick look at the roster shows those guys all auto-push as Main Eventers which makes sense.

 

Exactly! When starting this project, I knew that I wanted to keep the booking about my main eventers. These are the guys that the people come to see. They're what makes the SWF successful; fending off TCW & USPW. In my mind, that warranted a major focus upon them, shaping the show/storylines/titles around them, versus bogging the show down with too many 'pet projects' and midcard people on the rise. Instead, as you said, I focused on a few guys that I liked (Atomic, Davids, Bumfholes, Valiant, etc.) that I wanted to get over & sprinkled them in with my main eventers.

 

I don't ever plan on changing that approach (as the midcarders and below can get their focus on Underground). SupremeTV is all about the 'stars' and I love the 'bright lights' feel it has because of that. You're really watching the best in the world on a weekly basis. There's something very cool about that!

Just wanted to say I hope Eisen's big win this week shuts up the "heels dominate, the faces are buried" crowd. Babyface payback should be a special, celebrated moment. If you give it away weekly, why does the consumer buy the big event?

 

I'll admit that I was exaggerating when it comes to the heels dominating, especially in light of what happened on the last Supreme TV. The faces have been putting up a great fight for the most part, whether or not they end up winning. I still think though that there has been a few (albeit rare) moments where the heels have triumphed all too easily; I'll single out the Times of Trouble Warzone Cell match, which saw the faces hold a four on three (3-2 inside the cell) advantage at some point, only to then lose without eliminating any more members of the heel team, even if Rich Money did have Vengehacks and Craplov on his side. I get it, 'monster heel', but the faces found themselves in a rare advantageous situation, only to not just lose it, but get completely destroyed in just over five minutes... with the heels still fighting fairly no less!

 

PS: And yes, I'm aware that Marat Khoklov is a giant and should logically be unstoppable. But this is professional wrestling, where logic does not exist at all .

I believe in logic. I think you should always book with logic in mind. Really, I feel that should be your backbone and then work off of that. With this in mind, people like Khoklov will hardly ever lose, Remo will dominate smaller opponents, etc. This way, we don't have a situation where, in the WWE, Rey Mysterio Jr. is dominating the Big Show. Sure, this may happen for short bursts, using a high impact approach, catching Show off-guard (X-factor like), but, in the end, Show should dominate that match. If Rey wins, it may defy logic that a smaller guy could beat a bigger guy like that but that's where the beauty lies. Logic says that Remo should dominate the hell out of Eric Eisen. One man is a muscular and athletic freak. The other is a limited wrestler with a bum leg. Sure, the babyfaces had an advantage at one point; however, in reality, lock yourself into a cage with men the size of Remo, Khoklov and Vengeance. He's a 'demon'; pulled Money to hell. That certainly isn't a logical scenario by any means. That said, I feel Vengeance came from a different era in the SWF and, after awhile, if popular enough for a long period of time, I feel some characters can stand alone despite the current product. The same is with The Undertaker. More or less, the character, his antics, are so widely known & loved that wrestling fans allow such a contradiction to take place within the realm of a 'logic based booking company'. He's his own entity; almost separate from the SWF in a way. Now, where he's going, is more much logic-based as he comes down from "the virus".</div><p></p>

Just started reading this dynasty, I have no idea what took me so long, and all I can say is WOW! This is everything a TEW dynasty should be and more.

While it may have taken you a bit to find the project, I don't plan on ending it anytime soon; so, there's a lot more for you to be apart of. I'm looking forward to that!

 

TCW should just put all of the straps on Cornell and have him wrestle 3 times a night.

 

You know, if I were booking TCW, you'd have to probably go that route to stay 'competitive'. Cornell is THE guy to have &, if you've got him, you push him to the moon and then some. Luckily, for them, they'll always have Cornell in their pocket.

 

Phunk as TCW International Champion, ha. I guess Peak and Andrews moved up to main event with the departure of Ino, Minnesota, and Golden. TCW's mid-card in '13 is pretty drab other than Andrews, Peak, and Chord. Filled with tag teams and old guys, oh and Rick Law.

 

Yea, they're looking a little light these days but I still can't wrap my head around Phunk being the International Champion. There certainly are better options there. That said, I guess this can be a sign of their inevitable downfall. They're slipping into the "WCW End of Days" approach.

 

TCW were putting up good grades when their go-to main event was Cornell vs Hawkins (B+, B+, A, A in the four matches they had), but now that feud is over and they actually have to stick their lesser workers back into the main event... they're screwed. Only a matter of time now before E-V buys out TCW and gives us dream feuds like Cornell vs Bruce...

 

Buying TCW would be the greatest feat ever. That said, I don't expect that to happen for a long... long... long time. At this point though, I can do my best to make sure we head down that road eventually. haha.

Sadly, Hawkins still has like 400 dates on his TCW contract left. For the most part, Cornell has a lot of his big stars (that are left) on lengthy contracts. That said, there are 5-wrestlers coming up in the next 3 months that I could attempt to steal (2 people who could make a difference in the SWF and 3 that could be nice little 'add-ons').

 

With such numbers still available in the near future, and an already bloated yet talented roster, it's started to make me think about what I would do with a 3rd show. I've talked about a Tag Team show... a Shooting Star show... but I may need to entertain another "A" show and possibly go with a brand-split. I don't want to lengthen SupremeTV (as it's already 2 hours) but could easily go with two 90 minute "A-shows" a week and feel okay with that. I guess we'll see.

Good overall show there E-V. I nominate Tank,Carnage, and Hammer as a trio to invade Supreme lead by Emma.

Because he was too small to be a credible threat and considered only a manager by SWF, his hard working brought him to TCW and winning a championship in a mayor company.</p><p> </p><p>

Cornell think of Mister Bolte redemption story as a direct jab to SWF, because he understands talent and he can "create" wrestlers. Also Tornado can move to a more important role as a potential challenger to the TCW World Title.</p><p> </p><p>

As Cornell could say "These bloody wankers..."</p><p> </p><p>

Instead you could buy USPW. You're still at war with him, unless it's changed. Usually you hit the weakest of your enemies.</p>

I always end up with a huge roster of jobbers, old gatekeepers, up and comers and legit main eventers and always a bias towards heels. </p><p> </p><p>

Once I got a 90 man roster I went with the 3 hour A show(or 3 and a half hours, whichever is the highest allowed) because I had like 11 main eventers</p>

You tend to hoard talent. Then again, I've tried, this time around, to make sure that there's at least a sense of hope for everyone on the roster. That's why Underground is so necessary; as it gives those talent a 'chance'. I mean, Tommy's desperate at this point; however, would probably still have a 'fighters mentality'. He's not going down easily and, in this case, wants to show what he could do with a discarded SWF talent.
