Ah, touche.

In this case however... Captain Atomic has become a jerkass. And not a lovable jerkass like Jay Chord is either. According to the backstage reports, a typical booking meeting with him goes something like; WAAAH ME HERO ME CAN'T LOSE BY DQ WAAAH!

Also he was facing Jay Chord who is the one heel in this diary I am cheering for. Now, if at some point Chord starts acting like Atomic is now then yes, I would start booing him, and booing him quite viciously at that. But since he's been behaving well thus far, no boos will be thrown his way.

Interesting dilemma you point out though. Yes, seeing heels win 5 matches out of 7 in both of the last two PPV's did seem a bit skewed in my opinion, but if the heels have to win I was hoping one of those wins would be Captain Atomic dropping the belt, because I just cannot see him as a babyface worth cheering for when he's bullying the booking team into giving him the win backstage.

EDIT: Also I've become the diary's 'IWC' guy apparently and so it's become my duty to complain about everything because that's what the IWC does :p. Yet no matter how much we complain about the product, we still come back for more... so rest assured E-V that most of my complaints so far have been for relatively minor things and that the diary itself remains great overall.

I think this PPV was designed to continue the feuds and not resolve them... The debut of the new-ly renamed Break Like The Wind seems a likely time for title changes and plot shifts... I have a feeling the repackaged Vengeance will play a large part as the storyline begins to speed up.

Don't Worry, overthetop2, I've been known to complain about things as well. So I guess that makes us 'The IWC guys' then. :D I wonder if we should post further complaints in the guise of twitter/blog/etc. Posts to complete the effect? :p

If you do this, make sure to write incredibly long diatribes that really don't say anything. Oh, they have to be riddled with grammatical errors and when people politely try and correct you, freak out on them like they killed your dog, mom, and best friend all in one fell swoop.

Emma Extreme poses another challenge for Hammer©; It’s Tank!

[As is customary as of late, Underground Owner Emma Extreme opens the show by calling out the menacing Underground Champion in Hammer©. The silent yet intense sight of the “One Man Militia” doesn’t faze the spunky Extreme; smirking as he enters the ring. Ultimately, after recapping the challengers she has posed who all failed, Emma believes she has finally found the man who will give Hammer his greatest challenge. She even goes on to say, unlike Rich Money, she listens to her fans; hinting to who it will be. With a coy smirk on her face, the rebel punk points toward the back as the new challenger is none other than… the undefeated… Tank!! The rabid Underground fans erupt with excitement as Tank stomps aggressively out of the back. In the end, there’s no need for an opening show brawl to set the tone. Instead, the two powerhouses stare one another down; nose-to-nose… creating a ‘big fight vibe’ like no other!]

Grade:
B-

Marvin Earnest:
HAMMER! IT’S HAMMER!

King Swoop:
Well… [CENSOR] yea, Emma!
[Chuckle]
Now THAT’s a damn main event, brotha!

Marvin Earnest:
Hammer and Tank for the Underground Championship… and it’s happening HERE… TONIGHT!

High Bumfhole vs. Young and Famous

High Bumfhole defeated the Young and Famous in 5:08 via pinfall. Randy Bumfhole pinned Justin Sensitive to score the victory.

Grade:
C-

Marvin Earnest:
You know, when they first teamed together, I thought that High Bumfhole was going to be a ‘flash in the pan’; here today… gone tomorrow. I have to say, these guys have really stuck it out and become one great team!

King Swoop:
They’ve both been successful in other tag teams. This ‘aint much different. They’re specialists, brotha. They know how to pull together a sweet-lookin’ tag win.

Dirty Ducont attacks High Bumfhole with a chair

[The celebratory moment for High Bumfhole is brought to an alarming end as Dirty Ducont storms the ring with a chair. In reality, neither Randy Bumfhole or Groucho Bling pose much of a challenge as they’re taken off guard. Before they could even formulate a plan, both are lying motionless in the ring; victims of several chair shots (some to the head). In the end, the segment comes to a close with Dirty Ducont angrily yelling at the lovable duo as they lay motionless: “They LOVE you… What is there to LOVE?!”]

Grade:
C-

Marvin Earnest:
That was simply deplorable. Who does this guy think he is?

King Swoop:
An angry boy… who grew into an angry man…

Truth Promo; Jungle Lord looks for revenge

[The grunge-faction the Truth (John Greed, Squeeky McClean, Zim-ME and Carnage) stand unified in the ring as John Greed gets on the mic. In doing so, he furthers the cryptic nature of his promo from “Let the Games Begin”; speaking of “furthering the descent of the unveiled”. Midway through though, the promo is interrupted as former member Jungle Lord storms toward the ring in hopes of revenge. He’s able to take Squeeky McClean & Zim-ME to the mat; however, is steamrolled by a big boot from the powerful Carnage.]

Grade:
C-

Marvin Earnest:
Jungle Lord wants revenge! Sadly, he mostly got the boot of Carnage in his face…

King Swoop:
It looks like we’ve got ourselves a match, brotha. They’ve rung the bell… It looks like… Carnage and Jungle Lord…

http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/SWF%20Angles/Carnage_zpsa0916e1d.jpghttp://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/SWF%20Angles/VS2_zps6b062194.jpghttp://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/SWF%20Angles/JungleLord_zpsaad734ac.jpg

Carnage vs. Jungle Lord

Carnage defeated Jungle Lord in 5:36 via a 2nd big boot to the face. Carnage dominated Jungle Lord during this match.

Grade:
D-

Marvin Earnest:
There’s no revenge for Jungle Lord tonight. I’ll be surprised if he even remembers coming OUT here tonight after that one.

King Swoop:
This Carnage is one freaky thang, brotha… Seriously… ‘Aint nobody goin’ to mess with that!

http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/SWF%20Angles/KeithSmall_zps69b780d5.jpg

Matthew Keith promo about Enforcer/Train

[Matthew Keith comes out to the ring with a high level of frustration to his stance. He’s growing tired of the ‘games’ played by Enforcer Roberts, and now Runaway Train, and wants nothing more than to avenge what happened at “Let the Games Begin” (his SWF PPV debut). He points out that he was on the verge of beating Roberts when Train got involved and said, next time, he’s going to make sure that he gets THAT win! Finally, he states that if the ‘Old SWF Guard’ won’t come down to the Underground then he’ll come up to them…]

Grade:
C

Marvin Earnest:
Matthew Keith is making threats and, this time around, it sounds like he may be headed to the Supreme Wrestling Federation to make good on those threats.

King Swoop:
‘Aint nothin’ good in the SWF; nothin. I just hope, if Keith heads up there, he’s got back-up in his corner. They wouldn’t mind stompin’ out an Underground guy… Those b*tches…

Jimmy P vs. Mathew Keith

Matthew Keith defeated Jimmy P in 7:02 via a “Proton Lock” (Crippler Crossface).

Grade:
D+

Marvin Earnest:
Keith is sending a message to the “Old SWF Guard” with this win tonight. He even used his Father’s famous “Proton Lock” for extra measure.

King Swoop:
He’s a talented cat. He’ll get his… sooner or later… Guys like Matt always do.

Hype Video: Hammer© vs. Tank

[This hype video promotes our main event for tonight by documenting the dominating paths taken by both the Underground Champion Hammer© and his challenger in Tank. During this video, it’s highlighted that Tank is currently undefeated at 9-0 in the Underground; so, tonight’s main event is truly a climactic affair. In the end, the question remains… Will the “One Man Militia” retain and snap Tank’s undefeated streak – OR – will the brutish Tank steamroll through yet another victim and become the NEW Underground Champion?]

Grade:
D-

Marvin Earnest:
I don’t know if I’ve EVER anticipated a match as much as THIS one in my career. Seriously, in my entire career, THIS… is the match I’ve been waiting for. Hammer defends the Underground Championship against someone who truly can say he’s his equal… Tank.

King Swoop:
Emma listened to the noise & booked one hell of a main event. Ya gotta give it up to her, brotha. She’s not pullin’ any punches here. We’ve got ourselves a Grade-A main event here in the “Underground”…

Marvin Earnest:
There’s no BETTER way to break in the “Bunker” than a match like this…

Lobster Warrior vs. Zim-ME

Zim-ME defeated Lobster Warrior in 8:53 via an illegal rope grab during a pin.

Grade:
C+

Marvin Earnest:
Well… THAT was cheap! Zim-ME may have won but did he really? He had to use the ring rope to keep Lobbie down.

King Swoop:
Yea, pretty cheap, brotha. Ya won… “Good job”… but NO ONE is belevin’ you did it for real.

http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/SWF%20Angles/LobsterWarrior_zps6f108631.jpg

Post-Match Zim-ME promo; “No one cares”

[As Zim-ME shuffles up the steel ramp, he’s shown grabbing a microphone from a nearby tech. With a gritty, arrogant, smirk upon his face, Zim-ME proceeds to rip into Lobster Warrior from afar. He insults Lobbie on every level; however, in the end, sends a strong message to the lovable lobster… “No one cares… Not anymore… You’re nothing here”. The Underground fans boo Zim-ME as he leaves; however, that doesn’t stop him from wearing his grungy arrogance on his sleeve.]

Grade:
C+

Marvin Earnest:
Zim-ME’s really going for the jugular here tonight. I don’t agree with what he’s saying though. Lobster Warrior can go ANYWHERE and be loved; even in the Underground.

King Swoop:
Yea, he’s a little too over the top for me but ya gotta respect the guy. If you’re willin’ to wear that suit, for as long as he has, ya got to throw some respect his way.

Marvin Earnest:
We may have a Truth… Underwater Union war brewing… Something tells me that Dolphin, Angel, and Turtle won’t let this one slide as it did!

Hammer© vs. Tank

[underground Championship Match]

Hammer retains the Underground Championship in 6:51 via a Samoan Drop. During the match, Paul Huntingdon returned to the Underground and attacked Tank (unseen by a knocked out referee); costing him the win. This marks Hammer’s 4th successful defense of the Underground Championship.

Grade:
D+

Marvin Earnest:
NO!

King Swoop:
Damn Huntingdon…

Marvin Earnest:
Tank’s streak is broken THANKS to Paul Huntingdon…

King Swoop:
We haven’t seen him for awhile now… Then the pansy comes out here and screws someone over like Tank? Aint good brotha… Aint any good.

Marvin Earnest:
Such a TERRIBLE way to end a match like this…

Post-match staredown between Emma Extreme & Hammer©/Huntingdon

[The broadcast ends with a heated staredown between Underground Owner Emma Extreme and the unique pairing of Underground Champion Hammer© and the “Blue Blood” Paul Huntingdon. While Emma’s often spunky, if not quirky, in this moment, she’s seeing nothing but red. Meanwhile, Huntingdon and Hammer© stand in a stoic fashion; on the side of the ring for which she stands. Without saying a word, their focused stares say enough… They’re forming to combat their former manager; most likely out of spite.]

Grade:
C

Marvin Earnest:
What a weird combo… Huntingdon and Hammer seem like they’re world apart, and yet, they seem to be working as one?

King Swoop:
They were both managed by Emma back up in the SWF. That’s where their connection is…

Marvin Earnest:
That’s right! They BOTH were fired from the Chase Agency at some point, weren’t they? That’s GOT to be it…

King Swoop:
They’re formin’ up to stick it to Emma… not lookin’ good for Emma…

Good show(s) again E-V

Can you please remind me when Jungle Lord was kicked out of the Truth again? I seem to have missed it

Thank you, flaviooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

Jungle Lord was kicked out when Carnage came in. There was some "you let us down" kind of scenarios on Underground. Since then, we hadn't seen Jungle Lord and Greed touched upon this during a SupremeTV promo saying that he was a 'fallen brother'. So, to this point, we haven't really known where he was. That said, that changed this week as he ran to gain revenge from the Truth.

<p>As a B-Show, Underground continues to punch well above it's weight. The workers might not be as popular, and most of them aren't as skilled at this point in their careers either, but you (E-V) utilise them very well. And has he actually done anything heelish since winning the title? Winning against Keith and Tank thanks to interference aside, Hammer is almost looking like a face right now with how much Emma puts him through <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">He's defending it every week, more so, because of the storyline in place between he and Emma (She's trying to find the guy who can beat him). Thus far, no one has been able to; so, he gets to seem like a powerful force; worthy of the title. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> It is true that he hasn't done very many heelish things; however, that's been somewhat of my choice. I mean, he came in and beat Kill Switch for the belt (out of nowhere really) which I believe would turn people against him (as Switch was beloved at that time). Then, placing him opposite of Emma (another fan favorite), I could see an easy line to be drawn that he's a heel despite not doing anything very heelish. His character is not about cheap shots; it's more about a dude who can flat out beat you up. It works for a heel; however, doesn't utilize all the little nuances that tend to come with heel work.</div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="overthetop2" data-cite="overthetop2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="34928" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>By my count, that's actually his 5th title defence... did one of the title matches not get registered as a title match in-game?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">That was just an oversight by me. I've changed the champions page to reflect the 5 title defenses. Thank you for that.</div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="overthetop2" data-cite="overthetop2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="34928" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>A bit sad to see Jungle Lord turn into little more than a jobber, with not much time left in his career to reverse that trend. He had the potential to do better; maybe not main event due to his lack of mic skills, but he seemed like someone who could at least win the North American championship before calling it quits. I can't remember if he's in time decline or not; maybe that's it?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">He's 3rd on my list for time decline and his contract runs up in about a week (something I didn't make known). So, instead of giving him a 'moment in the sun', I decided to utilize his overness to help out some other characters who will be sticking around. Ultimately, I knew I wasn't going to rehire him; so, it's better to 'use him' than 'lose him'.</div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="overthetop2" data-cite="overthetop2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="34928" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You don't say Marvin? He's a <strong>heel!</strong> Of course he's going to cheat, did you expect any less?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">While true, a good announcer needs to do what he did in which to sell the heel. That's the mark of a good announcer/commentator to me. Sure, it may be obvious to us but he's got to sell that story/character.</div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="overthetop2" data-cite="overthetop2" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="34928" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This Underground is a great concept for a B-Show, but... what happens when the top faces of the show get called up to Supreme TV? Are we supposed to cheer them for getting their big break, or boo them for selling out?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">That is a very good question. Underground does create a vibe for which they have "their people". These are guys who define the program &, by contrast, are very anti-SWF. It's like if ECW was owned by the WWF at the late 90's; they hated the WWF and let everyone know it (which helped to define their product). </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Should you boo Matthew Keith, Kill Switch, Tank, Hammer, etc. if they make the jump? That's up to the fans to decide I guess. Some diehards will see them as "sell outs" but that's the risk I'll take (as the greater, mainstream, audience won't know any different really). </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> This contentious air could change once Money is no longer in power though. Honestly, the hatred really stems from Emma using this program to get away from the "Supreme Dictator". So, without him in front of her, things could 'loosen up' (especially since, as of right now, Money has gone out of his way to keep some Supreme Superstars from showing up on the Underground program out of spite).</div><p></p>

I do have plans for him but needed to wait until the moment was right.</p>

Those hoping for a reality shift in the SWF are sadly kicking at the dirt once again. There were high hopes that Rich Money’s luck would run dry in Sin City; however, that simply was not the case. The “Supreme Dictator” still controls every facet of the Supreme Wrestling Federation; the SWF World Heavyweight Championship as an example of this. That said, the anticipated ‘reality shift’ may be closer than you think.

Money’s longest standing ally may be testing the waters away from the dictator.

The “Alpha Dog” Remo was the man who shoved Rich Money and Jack Bruce from the top of the ladder. Honestly, there’s no way he could know that Money would end up with the SWF World Heavyweight Championship following such a fall. More or less, he wanted to push that ladder; regardless of what the outcome would be.

Has Remo unofficially showed his hand? Will he be the last ally to leave Rich Money’s side; killing
The
Establishment once and for all?

Tune into SupremeTV to find out…
