In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Steve Flash and Joffy Laine defeated Bradley Blaze and Outlaw Wes Revell and American Cobras in 7:54; the order of elimination was American Cobras first, and then Bradley Blaze and Outlaw Wes Revell.

Training match, and the level of effort showed reflected it as this was the crowd getting refreshments segment of the night.

Thomas Morgan and Rayne Man are walking towards the entrance way when Chloe Dean steps in front of them and begins talking to Morgan. However, this was merely a distraction as moments later, the Disenfranchised jump Morgan and Rayne from behind. They get in several good shots before officials and other wrestlers drive them off. The Disenfranchised leave, heading for the ring with Chloe Dean in tow.

Neither Brady or Jones are any good in doing promos, and since Dean had been paired with Jones in the past and was getting a little stale herself, this segment was designed to turn her heel and make her the manager\valet for the Disenfranchised.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Thomas Morgan and Rayne Man defeated The Disenfranchised in 8:27 when Thomas Morgan defeated Josh Jones by submission with a STF.

 

Match Rating D+

 

Brady and Jones weren't going to win this match ( especially as Brady can barely last 10 min in the ring before blowing up at this point) over Morgan and Rayne, but giving them their introduction this way gives them more presence and momentum than just climbing up the ranks, such as IMOM is currently doing.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, The Atlantic Connection defeated International Men of Mistery in 10:22 when Curtis Jenkins defeated Lobo Blanco by pinfall with a Fisherman's Suplex.

 

Match Rating C-

 

IMOM got a draw the first time to prove they were more than a jobber tag team, but lose this time as the Atlantic Connection are still higher on the pecking order at this time. But that is always subject to change depending on how good IMOM does against some other competition.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Team Dharma defeated Warren Technique and Mountie Mann in 12:04 when Chris Flynn defeated Mountie Mann by submission with a Flynn-Lock.

 

Match Rating D+

 

Despite their lackluster win percentage the past several months, Team Dharma is still one of my top tag teams. Although Technique is also high in the current ranks, this was more to see if he and Mann had any chemistry as a team, while giving Dharma's team a high profile win.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Raphael defeated Cal Sanders in 15:17 by pinfall with a Cupid's Arrow.

The second pairing is a really good match where Raphael matches Sanders hold for hold and pulls it out at the end to even things up between the teams.

Trademark Champion Enforcer Roberts, accompanied as usual by Blonde Bombshell, has some things to say backstage.

 

Roberts: Yet again, some young punk thinks he's going to make a name for himself by trying to take down the Enforcer. Youngman, I will give credit where it's due, you got the skills in the ring, and you probably have a bright future ahead in the business, but this is my time now and you don't have near the experience it would take to beat me and win this belt! I am the champion, and I will remain the champion for as long as I want to! Before I fought because it was my job, and I did it well. But now, I fight for me, and that means I am even more focused, more motivated, and more dangerous than you can imagine! I am Enforcer Roberts and I am the Trademark Champion!

Youngman: Roberts, you have been a worthy champion and you have faced and beaten some of the best competition around. But you are holding something I want. Something I need to take that next step to ending up as one of the biggest legends in this business. To have my name along side Strong, Chord, Faith. And that is the Trademark Championship. Because that belt symbolizes that you are at the top in TPW, that you are the best. And that is where I need to be in order to take it to the next level, to be acknowledged as the best! So tonight Roberts, I will hold nothing back, and I will settle for nothing less than beating you in the ring, winning that belt, becoming the Trademark Champion and taking the next step towards becoming a legend!

Crowd support for Youngman has been consistently growing over the year and it's peaking as he gets what is probably the loudest response ever for a TPW wrestler from the over 3000 people in attendance.

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Enforcer Roberts defeated Ernest Youngman in 23:22 by submission with a R.C.T.. Enforcer Roberts makes defence number 14 of his Trademark Championship title.

 

Match Rating B-

 

Yet another high level match between these two, and another that easily ranks in the top ten matches all time in TPW's almost 2 year history now. While I could probably have pulled the trigger on Youngman winning, as Roberts has had a very good run with the belt and Youngman's popularity is fairly high, the truth is that with Gauge, Pete and DuBois all gone now, the top end of my heels is fairly bare right now. Outside of Roberts, there really isn't another big feud for Youngman at main event level right now. On the other side Roberts has two or three credible threats to the title. I do have some tentative plans that , barring any changes in personnel, should shake things up over the next few months, but that has to play out first so tonights matchup was more to put on a marquee pairing than anything else.

 

 

OVERALL RATING C+

 

Another consistently strong show overall, headlined by one of our marquee matchups. While we filled less than 70% of the Waterloo Arena, we still had almost 1300 more people in attendance than could have been accomodated in the Varsity Arena and that increased gate more than covered the larger costs of renting the bigger venue.

Winner of this match will get slight boost as these teams are about on the same level. Pesonally I would go with Men of Mystery as they have had better match ratings so far.

Another close call but I rate faces slighly higher than the heels in this one.

It´s little bit too early for Youngman to drop the Province title, though if you decided to go that way then Warren would be a good option.

I still see Youngman as top choice to become the next Trademark champion and while Morgan has a good shot too I guess that the current face/heel divide means that Roberts will hold the belt a little while longer until you had fixed the problem.

<p>honestly, I just didn't have the time to really devote to writing this, and also, there wasn't more to tell with the story. My main purpose was to show that Thomas Morgan ( one of the overlooked long time characters) was perfectly viable as the figurehead of a regional level company and I really felt like I accomplished it. While I would have liked to have ended it more officially, I had just reached a point in both ability to commit, and general interest in continuing, to where I just let it lapse.</p><p> </p><p>

Tentative plans would have had Morgan defeating Enforcer Roberts for a second reign, and then an eventual showdown between Morgan and Ernest Youngman ( providing he was still with TPW ) probably with Youngman finally winning the title ( following a heel turn)</p>
