Team Dharma VS Working Class Stiffs VS Roxy Foundation

This will be a feud continuation for Roxy and Dharma. The WCS will benefit from their feud.

Josh Jones VS Texas Pete

OK, Pete HAS to win here...dude needs momentum like a fish needs water at the moment.

Steve Flash & Thomas Morgan VS Malili Umaga & Sayeed Ali

Picking the outsiders, purely because Flash shouldn't be winning Ontario matches any more.

Ernest Youngman VS Greg Gauge

Here is next years main event! For now, Youngman gets the win to build him up for a match against Roberts.

Ontario Province Champion Rayne Man VS Trademark Champion Enforcer Roberts for Trademark Championship

Roberts retains...the double champion angle works sometimes...but not when you are Rayne Man

Team Dharma VS Working Class Stiffs VS Roxy Foundation

- WCS seem the popular choice, but I'm going with Team Dharma - it builds them for one last shot at GOB before slipping into more solo options and furthers the Kitten/Dharma feud.

Josh Jones VS Texas Pete

- Jones (despite have the face of a senior citizen) is still young and Pete needs to continue to look strong. If (and when) Pete loses it will be to someone further up the card with more invested in the Supreme Takeover Attempt.

Steve Flash & Thomas Morgan VS Malili Umaga & Sayeed Ali

- I am likely wrong here, but my reasoning is that some outside interference give the cheap win to the visitors. This can be explained away by That Trademark Flash being too focused on Bombshell. (And who can blame them.)

Ernest Youngman VS Greg Gauge

- Youngman is more a 'home grown star', plus, who knows how much longer TPW will get to enjoy the services of Gauge. Keep the local kid looking strong (and prepping for a main event run.)

Ontario Province Champion Rayne Man VS Trademark Champion Enforcer Roberts for Trademark Championship

- Not even a kittenish glow will help Rayne Man defeat the current man of TPW.

Team Dharma VS Working Class Stiffs VS Roxy Foundation

You said that Working Class Stiffs are build as top contenders right now and that´s why they had a draw with champs in last show. Following that logic I believe that they will win here in order to build momentum for eventual re-match.

Josh Jones VS Texas Pete

Pete gets an easy win.

Steve Flash & Thomas Morgan VS Malili Umaga & Sayeed Ali

Outsiders could win this but considering that they are facing your two top faces I believe that loss is more likely outcome.

Ernest Youngman VS Greg Gauge

Youngman gets a win in order to build him for eventual title shot.

Ontario Province Champion Rayne Man VS Trademark Champion Enforcer Roberts for Trademark Championship

In battle of champs, main event champion almost always defeats the midcard champ and with Roberts title on the line I don´t see that changing here.

Josh Jones VS Texas Pete

Steve Flash & Thomas Morgan VS Malili Umaga & Sayeed Ali

Morgan and Flash are the biggest faces in the company, so they should win

Ernest Youngman VS Greg Gauge

Toughie, cos I love Greg Gauge. Youngman's been there from the start though....

Ontario Province Champion Rayne Man VS Trademark Champion Enforcer Roberts for Trademark Championship

Rayne Man is pretty average, Ontario Province is about his level.

Joffy Laine VS Outlaw Wes Revell VS Bob Casey VS Buzz Reid

In an extremely poor match, Bob Casey defeated Buzz Reid, Joffy Laine and Outlaw Wes Revell in 6:23 when Bob Casey defeated Outlaw Wes Revell by pinfall with a Roll Up.

Match Rating E+

Lower end of the roster training match.

Insane Machine & American Cobras VS Mountie Mann & The Atlantic Connection w\ Streetz

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Mountie Mann and The Atlantic Connection defeated Insane Machine and American Cobras in 7:39 when Mountie Mann defeated Insane Machine by submission with a Canadian Sleeper Hold.

Match Rating D

Insane Machine is a veteran I brought in on the recommendation of Cliff Anderson. He was looking for work after WLW was let go, and Cliff thought he would fit in well here. Looking over performance tapes of his from WLW, I agreed and gave him a contract to help improve our lower card, and maybe move into the midcard or above once he gets some recognition in this area.

Steve Flash & 'Trademark' Thomas Morgan VS Malili Umaga & Sayeed Ali

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Steve Flash and Thomas Morgan defeated Sayeed Ali and Malili Umaga in 11:47 when Thomas Morgan defeated Malili Umaga by submission with a STF.

Match Rating D+

These two were actually brought in by the Supreme Corporation as Umaga has his grudge against Flash and Ali representing 4C and trying to get even with me for all the times I have beaten their stars, but apparently I didn't set up a segment to get that point across. An okay match but glad I set this as the opener and not as the semi main as it wasn't as good as I hoped because Umaga was really sloppy in his execution of his moves tonight.

Ben Williams, Bradley Blaze & Quentin Queen VS Flash Savage & Good Ol Boys

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Flash Savage and Good Ole Boys defeated Ben Williams, Bradley Blaze and Quentin Queen in 7:49 when Flash Savage defeated Bradley Blaze by submission with a Canadian Crab.

Match Rating D-

Savage and the tag champs get a win over the job squad in a less than impressive fashion.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/BlondeBombshell_alt_zps807fd6a0.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/RayneMan_zps3260c75a.jpg

Ontario Province Champion Rayne Man is lounging around backstage when Blonde Bombshell walks up to him.

Bombshell: Ah, MR Rayne. Just the person I was looking for.

Rayne: What can I do you for, honey?

Bombshell: As you are undoubtedly aware, the Supreme Corporation is looking to takeover this small promotion and raise it up into something bigger and better. Being as you were once part of the Supreme Corporation team before your untimely layoff, I wanted to come to you and allow you the opportunity to rejoin the team and become part of the Supreme Corporation again.

Rayne: You mean, now that I hold a title here, you'd like me to come over to your side to increase Supreme Corporation's powerbase, don't you?

Bombshell: Now now Mr Rayne, its not just the title we want, but the person with the drive to go out and grab it. You've had a taste of the Supreme lifestyle before, and if you rejoin ( Bombshell sidles up seductively next to Rayne) there would be some 'extra' benefits.

Rayne takes less than a moment before stepping back, causing Bombshell to stumble before she recovers herself.

Rayne: You're right, I did have a taste of the Supreme lifestyle...right before they kicked me out with no regard to my own well being and future. And not once has anyone from there reached out to me over the past few years while I was out there scraping and clawing my way back. And you know what those years taught me honey? It's that I don't need anyone else to achieve something in this sport and this belt is living proof of that! Just like tonight, when I face the Trademark Champion and claim that belt to become the first double champion I will do it on my own! So take your offer, and your extra benefits and stuff them!

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/TexasPete_alt1_zps1f67fdcc.jpg

Right then out of nowhere, Rayne gets flattened by a vicious clothesline from Texas Pete!

Bombshell: Wrong answer Mr Rayne.

Pete lays in some more heavy blows but officials and other wrestlers separate them before he can do more damage to Rayne.

Rating D+

Decent segment to hype up the main event and also to make the subtle connection between the SWF( who aren't actually involved in this ) and the Supreme Corporation, given Raynes previous employment.

Team Dharma w\ Dharma Gregg VS Working Class Stiffs VS Roxy Foundation w\ Roxy Kitten

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Team Dharma defeated Working Class Stiffs and Roxy Foundation in 12:05; the order of elimination was Roxy Foundation first, and then Working Class Stiffs.

Match Rating C

The quality of the tag division makes itself known in this very good match. While WCS are getting a push, Team Dharma gets the win here to set up a rematch for the tag titles as this was billed as a #1 contenders match and I want the current champs to get a little time with the belts.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/JoshJones_zps33bc926b.jpg VS http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/TexasPete_alt1_zps1f67fdcc.jpg w\ http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/BlondeBombshell_alt_zps807fd6a0.jpg

Josh Jones VS Texas Pete w\ Blonde Bombshell

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Texas Pete defeated Josh Jones in 7:40 by pinfall with a Lone Star Drop.

Match Rating D

Jones gets some momentary offense when he gets the big man off his feet, but Petes size and power is too much for the young man.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/GregGauge.jpg

Greg Gauge has some words for his upcoming match.

Gauge: Youngman, like a bad smell, you just wont go away! How many times do I have to beat you before you get the message that you just aren't on my level. I mean, how could you be? I was trained by the best, I competed in Japan against the best competition, and I came back here and won gold. But you, you are a mongrel with no breeding, and have faced no real competition. So you racked up a bunch of victories over some hick canadians? Means nothing and you know it!

Tonight I put you in your place once again, and thats staring up at the lights while your shoulders get counted 1,2,3!

Rating D-

Average promo as Gauge continues to build heat.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/ErnestYoungman-1_zps91e00a51.jpg

Ernest Youngman has his own comments on the upcoming match.

Youngman: Gauge, you have been an obstacle to me, but obstacles exist to be overcome! And you will be overcome tonight! Unlike you, I wasn't handed the best training or the best opportunities to hone my skills. I had to fight my way up from the bottom, to prove that I belong here, not only to myself, but to everyone else along the way! Beating you is just another opportunity to prove to everyone that I belong, that I matter in this industry. So bring me the best you have Gauge, because I want no excuses when you go down to defeat!

Rating C-

Unsurprisingly, Youngman gets the best reaction from the audience tonight during his promo.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/ErnestYoungman-1_zps91e00a51.jpg VS http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/GregGauge.jpg

Ernest Youngman VS Greg Gauge

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Ernest Youngman drew with Greg Gauge in 15:00 when the time limit expired.

Match Rating C+

Time limit draw as I keep these two stars pretty much evenly matched. With no titles on the line, there is no reason not to keep their feud brewing for the long term.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/EnforcerRoberts_zps093277e2.jpg

Trademark champion Enforcer Roberts, accompanied by Blonde Bombshell, speaks about the main event.

Roberts: It is useless to try and resist the takeover by the Supreme Corporation. Flash learned it, Morgan is learning it, and tonight Rayne, after having made the biggest mistake of your young life by not coming back to the Supreme Corporation, you are going to learn it. And you will learn in the hardest, most painful way possible. Rayne, you will serve as an object lesson that the Supreme Corporation cannot be stopped.

Rating C-

Roberts, with his incredible showings over the past couple of months as champion, has catapulted in the eyes of the fans and has built a lot of heat with them, despite not being the best talker around. ( Of course, a buxom blonde accompanying you doesn't hurt.)

Rayne Man VS Enforcer Roberts © w\ Blonde Bombshell for the TPW Trademark Championship

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Enforcer Roberts defeated Rayne Man in 19:57 by submission with a R.C.T.. Enforcer Roberts makes defence number 5 of his Trademark Championship title.

Match Rating C+

Roberts continues his string of very good matches against a variety of opponents and is firmly cementing himself as our top star. Of course it helped that Roberts and Rayne had good communication in the ring, probably from when Roberts used to run the SWF dojo and helped train Rayne when he was a rookie.

OVERALL SHOW C

The run of good shows continues as the Supreme Takeover storyline keeps raising our popularity and prestige.

While things were going good as far as talent relations, quality of the shows, and the financial situations, there were areas of the company that could still use improvement. This point was brought home to me after reading some recent reviews on the merchandise we sold at shows and off the website. Now while I don't personally run that part of things ( as I have staff that deals with the day to day of the website, the advertising, calling to book venues, etc) I am still the one in overall charge, and thus I am responsible for how we are presented. One complaint that has come back to me time and time again the past few months was that our dvd's didn't have any commentary during the matches, just some quick voiceovers from me at the end where I provided my thoughts on a match and views of the wrestlers involved. Truthfully I never considered announcers or commentators before because I associate that with tv shows and PPV's, things we are still a long ways away from. But as we are continuing to grow our fanbase and expanding into other areas, it begins to make more and more sense to bring some people in now to do those jobs. This would give them time to become familiar with our product, our storylines and our talent so that when we do finally get to the next level of having a tv show and\or a ppv, then we wont have to scramble to fill those roles at that time, or have people who aren't that familiar with our roster. Plus, it would increase the quality of our dvd product. And most importantly, we can afford to do it.

So after placing an ad on our website, and getting the word out via contacts in the COTT alliance, plus some friends in the industry I had outside of TPW ( you dont work independents across North America for 20 years without making a lot of contacts in the industry) I finally narrowed down some possible candidates. A couple days of back and forth calls and negotiations, and a couple days before our end of May show, I was able to come to terms with Jerome Turner, the former lead announcer for CGC and Warlord Agony to provide commentary ( and maybe a potential commisioner character). Both weren't currently committed anywhere else, and both would be known to our fanbase. And both would be making their debut at the upcoming show

TPW Final Justice.

Ernest Youngman & Working Class Stiffs VS Mountie Mann & Atlantic Connection

- I like Mountie Mann's gimmick but the collection of talent on the face side tops the heels pretty convincingly.

Insane Machine & Quentin Queen VS Roxy Foundation

- I'm not sure who is in the Roxy Kittens Tag Team, but I assume they need the win more than Dubba Q.

Rayne Man© VS Flash Savage for the TPW Ontario Province Championship

- As much as I'd love Flash to win the title and become the bitterest, bestest diva on the roster. I can't see D'Mack and the Trademark rewarding the whiny savage biotch.

Team Dharma VS Good Ol Boys © for the TPW Tag Team Championships

- No reason to give the titles right back to Team Dharma-chameleon.

Steve Flash VS Greg Gauge

- Flash helps train up the youngster, with some luck this could be a show stealer.

'Trademark' Thomas Morgan VS Enforcer Roberts

-Team Supreme continues to appear to hold all the power in TPW.

Face side is simply better.

Insane Machine & Quentin Queen VS Roxy Foundation

Real team over random pairing

Rayne Man© VS Flash Savage for the TPW Ontario Province Championship

I´m sure Flash expects to win this one but I´m pretty sure you don´t want to put any titles on him thanks to his attitude and medicore match ratings.

Team Dharma VS Good Ol Boys © for the TPW Tag Team Championships

I don´t see TEam Dharma getting tag titles back, not this quickly anyway so Good Ol Boys retain.

Steve Flash VS Greg Gauge

I think it´s time to pull the trigger on Gauge and win over Flash would surely catapult him into main event scene.

'Trademark' Thomas Morgan VS Enforcer Roberts

I could see Morgan winning this one as he or Youngman are most likely options as next champ but my bet is on Youngman so Roberts retains this time.

I wanted to thank you for creating this diary. I have just finished reading all 15 pages, and it has been an enjoyable couple of hours.

This diary has taught me a number of things as well. Especially the importance of matching the wrestler and the product I have a tendency to sign anyone who catches my eye, even if they don't really fit my product. I can't wait to experiment with this in my future games.

Thanks again for the wonderful diary.

I like Insane Machine...but he's not good enough to help the unfortunate QQ.

Insane Machine & Quentin Queen VS Roxy Foundation

Lower card individuals vs tag team.

Rayne Man© VS Flash Savage for the TPW Ontario Province Championship

Not yet.

Team Dharma VS Good Ol Boys © for the TPW Tag Team Championships

Again not yet, though still surprised you put the belts on GOB, was expected back then a multi-team match to send it straight to WCS instead.

Steve Flash VS Greg Gauge

Number 3 face vs number three heel, with heel champ face should win, but with face dropping down card and heel jumping up, go with the draw.

'Trademark' Thomas Morgan VS Enforcer Roberts

Non-title to give Trademark a win, but will probably be DQ or count out for more of them to give Youngman more time.

TPW FINAL JUSTICE

Held at Varsity Arena, Ontario Canada

Sat week 4 May 2014 Att: 2000 ( SOLD OUT)

PRE SHOW

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/TexasPete_alt1_zps1f67fdcc.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/JoshJones_zps33bc926b.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/BobCasey-1_zps1570090b.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/BuzzReid_zps1137def3.jpg

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Texas Pete won a battle royal in 10:07. The other members of the 'final four' were Josh Jones, Bob Casey and Buzz Reid, with Josh Jones being the final elimination. Texas Pete got the most eliminations over the course of the match.

Match Rating D

Rest of the roster battle royal. Unsurprisingly, Texas Pete dominates, eliminating over half of the competitors himself.

MAIN SHOW

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/JeromeTurner_zpsb67b2156.jpg

Turner: Welcome ladies and gentleman to the sold out Varsity Arena, where 2000 people are in attendance to witness another night of fantastic wrestling action here at TPW Final Justice! I am Jerome Turner, and I can honestly say its good to be back behind the announcing desk calling wrestling action for the first time since a certain owner with the initials A.D. decided that I was surplus to requirements. But that is neither here nor there. I am proud to have joined the fastes rising wrestling promotion in the world and also to welcome my new partner doing commentary. The former 7 time World tag team champion, one half of one of the most legendary tag teams ever, the one, the only....Warlord Agony!

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/WarlordAgony_zps5146b183.jpg

Warlord Agony walks down the entry way, his traditional face paint constrasting with the black business suit he is wearing. Still the former multi-time CGC and SWF world tag champion draws a large round of applause from the audience. As the crowd continues to give him a warm welcome, he takes a seat next to Turner.

Agony: Thank you Jerome, and I am glad to be back here in Canada where me and my parter Pain got our first world tag titles. TPW has made quite an impression in the past 18 months and I am honored to be a part of it.

Rating C-

Introducing the new announce team who will be providing commentary on the dvd's of our shows and getting familiar with our product, our wrestlers, and each other so that they can hopefully be a well oiled team by the time we get to the point where we can get a weekly tv show.

Turner: We start action off with a 6 man tag match. You know Agony, Youngman has impressed me with how far he's come at such a young age. He has the skills and ring presence of a veteran. And partnered with the Working Class Stiffs, who although they are a new team, demonstrate the communication of a veteran tag team, I have to like their chances.

Agony: Don't count out the other team just yet Jerome. Mountie Mann is a rough and tough wrestler who is itching to lay down the law in the ring, and the Atlantic Connection also have years of experience as a tag team. This match will come down to which team works together better.

Ernest Youngman & Working Class Stiffs VS Mountie Mann & The Atlantic Connection

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Ernest Youngman and Working Class Stiffs defeated Mountie Mann and The Atlantic Connection in 12:01 when Ernest Youngman defeated Mountie Mann by pinfall with The Hit.

Match Rating C-

Turner and Agony are doing their job in providing commentary and thoughts for the dvd's on each of the matches. I will continue to provide my own insights as well to these productions, but they can do a better job of calling the action and the story as they are on the spot, whereas I am reviewing these after the action ( and also from the standpoint of I already know where things are going, at least in the short term.) Youngman and WCS do a good job of pulling out a good match from their opponents as they build momentum with the win.

Turner: Both sides showed good work, but in the end one move puts it away as Youngman lands his patented superkick he dubs The Hit.

Agony: Youngman is definitely one to keep an eye on in the future.

Turner: The Roxy Foundation face a stern test tonight. Queen may still be finding his way, but Insane Machine is a polished veteran with a couple decades of experience facing the top regional talent in the US and some of the finest ring competition Japan has to offer.

Agony: I agree Insane Machine is always a threat, but is he enough to overcome the mat skills of Raphael and Gutmann? Roxy has her team motivated to show up her rival Dharma, and she won't allow a poor showing here to cause her to lose face to her rival.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/InsaneMachine_zps2f8bab53.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/QuentinQueen_zps48bc7227.jpg VS http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/Raphael-1_zpsd0212d5a.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/IrwinGutmann_zpsf44983fc.jpg w\ http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/RoxyKitten_zps79a35617.jpg

Insane Machine & Quentin Queen VS Roxy Foundation w\ Roxy Kitten

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Roxy Foundation defeated Insane Machine and Quentin Queen in 7:40 when Raphael defeated Insane Machine by pinfall with a Cupid's Arrow.

Match Rating D

Roxy Foundation keep themselves relevant in the tag title contenders picture.

Turner: And the Roxy Foundation notches another impressive win with Raphael's top rope dropkick finisher.

Agony: A few more wins like this and Roxy Foundation will be lined up for a shot at the tag titles.

Turner: Up next we have the Ontario Province title being defended as champion Rayne Man takes on NOTBPW veteran Flash Savage.

Agony: Savage was recently let go from NOTBPW and he has an obvious chip on his shoulder. Taking the Ontario title tonight would give him the chance to send a message to his former employers as well as make a statement in TPW.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/RayneMan_zps3260c75a.jpg VS http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/FlashSavage_zps82e51fba.jpg

Rayne Man © vs Flash Savage for the TPW Ontario Province Championship

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Rayne Man defeated Flash Savage in 12:54 by pinfall with a Rayne Drop. Rayne Man makes defence number 2 of his TPW Ontario Province Championship title.

Match Rating D

I've finally decided that I have had enough of Savage and his sense of entitlement. I'm not about to cater to a whiny pretty boy, especially when he doesn't deliver in the ring. He can either get the message and adjust his attitude to be a team player, or he can stare at the lights for a long time. Either way I am beyond caring. Its a good thing for him that we continue to make a profit each month, because his is easily the first contract I could cut loose.

Turner: And once again, the Champion retains in a close match.

Agony: Rayne may have escaped with the title this month, but he's drawn the attention of the Supreme Corporation after his refusal to join and I doubt they are going to just let that slide.

Turner: Now we have the former tag team champions, Team Dharma, trying to regain the belts from the team that beat them for the titles, The Good Ole Boys.

Agony: This will be an interesting clash of styles as Team Dharma like to take to the air, while the Good Ol Boys take a page out of the Warlord's playbook, and pretty much go out to smash their opponents in the face.

Team Dharma w\ Dharma Gregg VS Good Ol Boys © for the TPW Tag Team Championships

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Good Ole Boys defeated Team Dharma in 9:42 when Wooton Fitzpaine defeated Special K by pinfall with a Running Big Foot. Good Ole Boys make defence number 2 of their TPW Tag Team Championship titles.

Match Rating D+

Team Dharma are going to be doing double duty as singles and tag wrestlers, and being former champions, will remain part of the tag title picture, but the Good Ol Boys are going to hold them for at least a little longer as I don't see the point of bouncing titles around every couple of shows. Plus the Good Ol Boys have been loyal and uncomplaining since we started and deserve at least one decent title run.

Turner: And Fitzpaine's Big Boot decides another match. But the contenders are lining up for a shot at the tag titles, so the road doesn't get any easier for the champions.

Agony: Yes, a size 14 to the side of someone's face often decides an argument. But you are right in that the tag division in TPW is full of strong teams right now and the titles rest uneasily around the Good Ol Boys waists.

Turner: Next up is an intriguing contest between former Trademark Champion Steve Flash and the young up and coming Greg Gauge.

Agony: While Flash has been a fine performer and champion in the past, way back to the time when my partner and I used to fight for the CGC Tag titles with him and his then partner John Jetson, I think time may be catching up to him, and Gauge, while he doesn't speak about it, has a very famous father in wrestling, and has had the finest training available, in addition to being seasoned in Japan.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/SteveFlash-1_zps0c9a684e.jpg VS http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/GregGauge.jpg

Steve Flash VS Greg Gauge

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Steve Flash defeated Greg Gauge in 11:38 by pinfall with a Flash Bang.

Match Rating D

While it is true that Gauge is up and coming and Flash is fading, right now Gauge is pretty much treading water here while he tours in Japan, and Flash is still part of our main storyline. So Flash gets a good win to maintain a strong presence. But a month or so from now, this is probably a different outcome.

Turner: And in the battle of veteran guile vs rising star, the veteran pulls this one out.

Agony: They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. But the old tricks still work every once in awhile, as Gauge learned tonight. Still, I wouldn't bet against him in a rematch.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/ThomasMorgan_alt1.jpg

TPW Owner and former Trademark Champion Thomas Morgan has some comments before the match.

Morgan: The Supreme Corporation has made no bones about the fact they are coming to take over my company, and will do whatever is necessary to achieve that goal, including bribing the board of directors or savagely attacking me, or anyone else they think stands in their way. But I still maintain controlling interest in the company, and as long as I have the will to fight, the Supreme Corporation will never control my company! Tonight when I beat your best in this ring, I will then force the board to allow me another title match and I will take back my Trademark title because I...AM...BETTER...THAN...YOU!

Rating C-

A passionate promo gets a good reaction from the crowd.

Turner: Strong words from the owner and former Trademark Champion.

Agony: Words don't win matches. I have nothing but respect for what Morgan has accomplished, both on his own and with TPW, but the Supreme Corporation rose to the top taking out or taking over companies like TPW.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/BlondeBombshell_alt_zps807fd6a0.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/EnforcerRoberts_zps093277e2.jpg

Supreme Corporation spokesperson Blonde Bombshell, accompanied by Trademark Champion Enforcer Roberts, has his own words about the main event.

Bombshell: Mr Morgan, I don't know why you persist in this futile defiance. It's inevitable that we will take over TPW, just as the Supreme Corporation has taken over anywhere else we have set our sights on. Our resources are endless, whereas yours are growing thin. We already know about the emergency bank loans and lines of credit you have taken to maintain your controlling interest. You had the opportunity to step aside gracefully, with a nice profit, but you have chosen a path that will lead to your financial ruin, and us still being in charge. Perhaps Mr Roberts here needs to deliver yet another object lesson to you in the ring so that you can understand the futility of continuing to resist our takeover.

Rating C-

A large chorus of boos greets Bombshell at the end of her speech. This storyline has more than lived up to my expectations in building heat and giving momentum to the company.

Turner: Can Thomas Morgan remain firm in his stance against the massive Supreme Corporation?

Agony: I don't like his chances Jerome. As you know, I spent several years as part of the Supreme Corporation and I know they have brought only a fraction of the resources they have to bear on TPW so far.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/ThomasMorgan_alt1.jpg VS http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/EnforcerRoberts_zps093277e2.jpg w\ http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/BlondeBombshell_alt_zps807fd6a0.jpg

'Trademark' Thomas Morgan VS Enforcer Roberts © w\ Blonde Bombshell

In a bout that had great heat and good action, Thomas Morgan drew with Enforcer Roberts in 20:00 when the time limit expired.

Match Rating C+

While Roberts didn't want to lose if we weren't moving the title, since he argued the Supreme Corp needed to be kept looking strong, he was agreeable to a time limit draw as the struggle is more believeable if there is some hope for overcoming the giant corporation shown. I didn't push my winning as I really dont see moving the title for awhile anyways, barring injury or Roberts sudden retirement. He's delivering very good main events even if he's no longer in his prime.

Turner: A hard fought match, with both men working hard to take the other down in their submission, but ultimately inconclusive.

Agony: Morgan proves that he can stand up to Roberts in the short term, but as I can personally attest, Roberts is relentless in pursuit of a goal. All Morgan has done here is buy time.

http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/ThomasMorgan_alt1.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/EnforcerRoberts_zps093277e2.jpghttp://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n329/Dragonmack/TexasPete_alt1_zps1f67fdcc.jpg

After the match is over, Enforcer Roberts begins trading blows with Thomas Morgan. The fight immediately becomes one sided as Texas Pete enters the ring and levels Morgan from behind with a vicious lariat clothesline. He follows up with a body slam and then a Lone Star Drop. Right afterwards Roberts locks in the R.C.T. submission, causing even further pain and damage before the referee and other wrestlers from the back finally break it up and help Morgan to the back. The Supreme Corporation stand triumphant in the middle of the ring.

Rating C-

Adding further fuel to the storyline fire.

Turner: The Supreme Corporation has just sent a clear and painful message to the owner of TPW!

Agony: I don't know how much more of a beating Morgan's financial situation, or his body, can take before he finally gives in to the Supreme Corporation.

OVERALL SHOW C

A small step down from two weeks ago, but still another awesome show in continuing string of momentum builders we have had this year. I like what the addition of a commentary team is adding to the shows and hopefully it will bring some return in more dvd sales.

Hope people like the addition of the commentary team and the slightly new format :)

Just skimming it, I like the new format but one way to make it just a tad better would be to center the quote boxes. Just my personal opinion, and that may be biased because that's how I do it in my dynasty. :p

Loving this by the way, my RtG game is in Ontario so I'm familiar with a lot of the people used. You really have a way of keeping this simple but giving everyone a character. :)

The quote boxes looked centered to me.

Poor wording on my part, I meant the text and pictures inside the quote box. :o

Ford Gumble VS Greg Gauge

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Greg Gauge defeated Ford Gumble in 12:43 by submission with a Proton Lock.

Match Rating D

A little worse than it probably should have been as Gumble wasn't on his game tonight.

Josh Jones VS Mountie Mann

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Mountie Mann defeated Josh Jones in 7:53 by submission with a Canadian Sleeper Hold.

Match Rating D-

I feel sorry for Jones in a way. The truth is that TPW grew a lot faster than Jones and his skills did. Whereas Youngman was one of those gems that just needed a little polishing, Jones is far rougher and needs a lot more time and work before he can ascend past midcard fodder level.

Cal Sanders VS Flash Savage

In a bout that had a good crowd and some decent in-ring action, Cal Sanders defeated Flash Savage in 12:39 by pinfall with a Frog Splash.

Match Rating D+

Savages 'Stare up at the Bright Lights' tour continues as he gives his momentum to people much more deserving and less whiny. Case in point Sanders, who has gone above and beyond in making others look good and carrying them to watchable matches.

Rayne Man © VS Irwin Gutmann w\ Roxy Kitten for Ontario Province Championship

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Rayne Man defeated Irwin Gutmann in 7:42 by submission with a Rayne Fall. Rayne Man makes defence number 3 of his TPW Ontario Province Championship title.

Match Rating D-

Standard title defense for Rayne. Until we get a much larger audience, unless its an emergency situation where someone is leaving before an Ontario show, its highly unlikely any titles will change hands here. Gutmann has managed to settle into a solid midcard role, some wins, some losses, and only one incident in last nine months. Plus, despite his occasional anti-social issues backstage, he goes about his business professionally, not complaining about things, unlike people like Savage.

Ernest Youngman & Thomas Morgan VS Texas Pete & Enforcer Roberts

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Ernest Youngman and Thomas Morgan drew with Texas Pete and Enforcer Roberts in 20:00 when the time limit expired.

Match Rating C

Showcase match of our top stars, which I knew would close the night off in a strong fashion.

OVERALL SHOW C-

Well at least the crowds are starting to increase, although not as much as I would like. Still, I feel we will begin making better inroads in Quebec soon.
