Organic Picture Sets

Recommended Posts

<p>Using the default CornellVerse pictures, I made a fairly big folder of 'free pictures' to use with the Organic set. Obviously they stick out from the others as they are CGI and the others are real pictures, but it just helps to give generated workers that extra bit of life. The file can be downloaded <a href="http://www.ynsfashion.com/rays/freepics/People.rar" rel="external nofollow"><strong>here</strong></a>. It contains 1,864 free pictures.</p><p> </p><p>

I am working on making a 'database' to go with this, so that if you wanted to use it, you can easily extract the files, and then import the file into your current databases and games.</p><p> </p><p>

I hope you don't mind me posting this here, I just thought it was best suited, as I made it to go with the organic set (as in, each image has the black border on it, to match).</p>

Just to be clear. Dale Veasey/Lt. Wright is the one with the mustache, or without?

Plus justtxyank still owes me a Shanghai Pierce ;) lol

Dale Veasey/Lt. Wright is the one with the mustache, while Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker is the one that's clean shaven. That reminds me, am I the only one who was scratching my head as to why WCW was trying to put the Sarge over as this tough bad ass in trying to put over the Power Plant when he was nothing more than a TV jobber?

That's one of the reasons why it almost never failed, any TEW game I've ever played as WCW, I changed it to someone else - and typically released Parker on top of that. Had he ever been anything more than a jobber? I know there was the Jack Boot thing with "beatings will commence until morale improves" catchphrase, but I don't even think he won any matches, just was another funny WCW jobber.

Would you want to acknowledge the fact that the head trainer at your school was nothing more than a jobber? He was the guy who trained the crop of talent coming out in WCW in the late 90s, Goldberg, Sean O'haire, Mike Sanders, Chuck Palumbo, Johnny Stamboli etc

They didn't want to make it look like they had been trained by a scrub even though they had.

That's the thing: they didn't have to acknowledge it to begin with, though I guess they needed to figure out a way to convince prospective students to come down to the Power Plant. But you'd think telling fans "Goldberg was trained here" would simply be enough. I better stop before I get a splitting headache trying to decipher WCW logic. :p

<p>Just because someone is a jobber doesn't mean that they aren't capable of training people. Not too mention he wasn't the ONLY trainer there. </p><p> </p><p>

Plenty of teachers in athletics were not as great of performers as the men and women they are teaching. Not too mention wrestling is completely subjective. There are hundreds of guys that never made it past jobber status that with the right breaks could have became huge stars. </p><p> </p><p>

Dwyane had everything needed to be a solid trainer and although he didn't train many future world champions the guys he trained wound up being solid to good performers.</p>

Yeah, I wasn't saying that the Sarge wasn't qualified to train the guys at the Power Plant. I just thought it was weird that the announcers on TV would tell us what a bad ass he was, then he'd go out and lose in less than five minutes to everybody on the WCW roster. And I definitely know what you mean by the coach's analogy, Stennick. Maybe they could have gone with something like "Don't let his win-loss record fool you, Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker is one tough cookie. Everybody he's been in the ring with him has felt like they were in a fight." Something like that, I guess. *shrugs*

<p>I have a picture that I've been trying to find again. I used it years ago, for Dusty Rhodes. I may even have been using it back on EWR.</p><p> </p><p>

I think it was from when he was in TNA. I remember that he had on a white hat with the brim kinda shading his eyes, and he was talking on a microphone, doing something Dusty-ish with his other hand.</p><p> </p><p>

Some help please? I'd really rather not have to go downloading a whole bunch of old pic packs from ewwarehouse just to try and find one or two pictures.</p>

Plus, I saw the original pic, so I'm stoked it didn't lose any quality due to enlarging it. Adding to my pic pack that will be used for Risky Business and Bigger, Better, Badder. Thank you!</p>

Thanks! I may take some time sometime and go back over the ones I did before, to make them suit the rest of them better. My OCD at that time wouldn't allow me to cut out too much of the head.</p>

BTW, I hope people won't mind some black and white(or other variations of non-colorized) pictures for Risky Business and my version of 1987. In trying to get all workers pictures(though there will be some that fall through the cracks), black and white pics are sometimes all I can find of some workers who while weren't big names globally or nationally, at least made an impact on certain territories. Figured it will work with mods based in the 80s anyway.

<p>Sooooo I kinda went on a spree. Feel free to use any of them that you like. I made a bunch and fixed up the ones I'd done earlier. Any of them you think needs fixed, I can bring them back up very easily and redo.</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Maybe his head was squishy for that pic <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I used free transform for most of them; I think the first time I did this one I'd just used scale.</p>
