<p>Just wanted to say I'm really enjoying the introduction of the Malenko/Storm team.</p><p> </p><p>

Bunkhouse Brawl</p><p>

<strong>“Nature Boy” Ric Flair & “Enforcer” Arn Anderson </strong>vs. Hollywood Hogan & “American Outlaw” Dusty Rhodes w/The Queen</p><p>

-It's always tough to get Hulk to take a loss, but maybe you can manage it here assuming Dusty takes the fall. </p><p> </p><p>

First Blood Match</p><p>

“Hot Rod” Roddy Piper w/Jimmy Hart vs. <strong>Sting</strong></p><p>

-Sting continues to roll after Starrcade.</p><p> </p><p>

Chicago Street Fight – WCW World Tag Team Championships</p><p>

Harlem Heat vs. <strong>The Road Warriors w/Dusty Rhodes</strong></p><p>

-I doubt this will be the only meeting between the two, but don't see how it could continue if the Warriors lost given the stipulation.</p><p> </p><p>

Straightjacket Match</p><p>

<strong>“Macho Man” Randy Savage</strong> vs. “Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman</p><p>

-Macho wins, perhaps with help from the KoW. I think (and hope) this is just getting started though.</p><p> </p><p>

Two out of Three Falls</p><p>

“Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff w/Dusty Rhodes vs. <strong>“The Natural” Dustin Rhodes</strong></p><p>

-I wouldn't mind seeing Dustin eventually challenge Hogan at one of the lesser PPVs.</p><p> </p><p>

The Stud Stable (Steve Austin & The Armstrong Brothers) w/Colonel Robert Parker vs. <strong>“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & Stars ‘n Stripes</strong></p><p>

-Austin is far and away the biggest star in the match, but this seems like it was designed to even his feud with Duggan out a bit without Austin actually being beaten himself.</p><p> </p><p>

No Disqualification Match</p><p>

Terry Funk vs. <strong>“The Monster” Vader w/Sonny Onoo</strong></p><p>

-Terry's got no chance.</p><p> </p><p>

Badstreet Brawl</p><p>

Michael “P.S.” Hayes vs. <strong>Terry Gordy</strong></p><p>

-Feud logic would suggest PS wins to even it up, but I think you're setting Gordy up for bigger things.</p><p> </p><p>

World of Sport match</p><p>

JPL vs. <strong> Lord Steven Regal w/Baron Leonard Tomas</strong></p><p>

-I have no doubt that JPL will ultimately emerge the victor in this conflict, but I'd like to see Regal prevail in "his" match (through some kind of dirty tactic.)</p><p> </p><p>

Tiebreaker Questions:</p><p>

1. Which match will be the highest rated? <strong>Gotta be Piper/Sting, I think. The Bunkhouse Brawl might have a chance, but Dusty's in-ring skills can't be great at this stage. </strong></p><p>

2. Will anyone make a debut? <strong>No, if only because I can't think of anyone.</strong></p><p>

3. If yes, who will the debut come out to challenge?</p><p>

4. Which match will end the show? <strong>Piper/Sting</strong></p><p>

5. Who will take the fall in the six man tag? <strong>Brad</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Fan Scorecard

Bunkhouse Brawl

“Nature Boy” Ric Flair & “Enforcer” Arn Anderson vs. Hollywood Hogan & “American Outlaw” Dusty Rhodes w/The Queen

Dusty takes the fall and Flair gets another shot at Hogan at Superbrawl.

First Blood Match

“Hot Rod” Roddy Piper w/Jimmy Hart vs. Sting

I love Sting, but the Rowdy One needs to get the score even.

Chicago Street Fight – WCW World Tag Team Championships

Harlem Heat vs. The Road Warriors w/Dusty Rhodes

But the Heat will regain the gold soon.

Straightjacket Match

“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. “Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman

Should be a great match, but Savage is just new to the fed, and Pillman wins at the next PPV.

Two out of Three Falls

“Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff w/Dusty Rhodes vs. “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes

Keep pushing him to the ultimate challenge.

The Stud Stable (Steve Austin & The Armstrong Brothers) w/Colonel Robert Parker vs. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan & Stars ‘n Stripes

Please.

No Disqualification Match

Terry Funk vs. “The Monster” Vader w/Sonny Onoo

This should kill both, but i can't see Vader losing at this point.

Badstreet Brawl

Michael “P.S.” Hayes vs. Terry Gordy

Gordy has so far won everything in this feud, so Hayes wins here.

World of Sport match

JPL vs. Lord Steven Regal w/Baron Leonard Tomas

JBL...oh sorry, JPL continues his streak. Keep pushing him!

1. Which match will be the highest rated? Roddy Piper vs. Sting

From there, they head up the ramp fighting all the way, and it even spills into the crowd now that this time there is no security going to stop them! At one point, Savage grabs a fan’s sign to try and use as a weapon, obviously liking that it said “Macho Man is going to snap into Pillman!” Brian gets an advantage and hops the railing, going back into the ring. He’s taken by surprise though when he sees Commissioner Bockwinkel coming down to the ring! He does nothing though, merely walking over to Tony and Jesse and putting on a headset to provide some commentary and by his own words, “get a better view of this match”. But the champion’s focus is lost, and the Macho Man capitalizes like a shark, rushing into the ring and dropping Brian’s throat across the top rope!</p><p> </p><p> Once each man has been sufficiently weakened, or so the other thinks, they begin making use of the straightjacket being carried around by Mark Curtis. Some strange fan holds up a sign that reads “Hey Brian, Guess what? Macho Man 316 says he just straight jacketed your ass!” whatever that means. Bockwinkel does a good job of hiding it for a little while, but it’s clear that he’s pulling for Savage to win this one. Jesse calls him on it, but Nick dismisses it as Jesse “believing in rumors thrown about by a crazy man trying to hurt my reputation as commissioner”. While back out of the ring, Savage hits Brian with a double axe handle from the top rope, then gets in the ring and poses for the crowd, with most booing him but some fans loving getting to see “The Macho Man” on display again. He turns around into Air Pillman though! Brian caught him good, and he goes to put on the straightjacket. Savage fights it, but one thing helps him fight it more than anything: an attack from California Kip! Kip smashes the TV champion across the back with a steel chair, before picking him up and hitting him with the Silicon Valley Slam! Savage comes to again, and he goes up to hit the Flying Elbow! Pillman still stirs, so Kip holds him by placing the chair on him for Savage to go up and hit another Flying Elbow, this time on the steel chair! This time when Macho turns and poses, there are no fans loving the wild Savage in action. Between the two of them, they hoist Brian up and lock him into the straightjacket, winning the match to the chagrin of everyone watching on who is not the WCW commissioner. Dusty says that Savage won that match fair and square, because he’s the better man – just like he and Hogan will do later to Flair and Anderson. Rhodes says that he just hopes Dustin will be on hand to watch that match, so he can see that he’s made a mistake and comes home to daddy’s side where he belongs. Piper laughs, and says like last night on Saturday Night, if he knew it was so easy to beat Sting down, he might leave this – taking out a lead pipe – back here with the rest of the Kings! A few gangs (read: plants) are seen sitting on the cars, a lot of them banging chains and pipes against the trunks and doors of the cars. Into the area comes Terry Gordy, wearing street clothes, and he looks around. He asks into the darkness where Hayes is, saying he guesses after making the challenge, he was too afraid to show up! Gordy starts going to the gangs, asking them if they know where Michael is at, when one of them attacks him! He whips off the hood of his sweatshirt to reveal Hayes! Michael gets an advantage in the brawl through this trickery, one that he keeps by slamming Gordy’s head into a car hood! This “match” is mostly a lot of fists flying, Michael’s hands taped to absorb some of the impact against Gordy’s face. Terry is on the proverbial ropes (proverbial because in this one there are no ropes to speak of) until Hayes tries to jump off of a car trunk at him, and Gordy catches him in mid-air! Terry hefts Hayes up and smashes him down onto a car hood chest first! Gordy now takes over, throwing Michael around like a ragdoll before looking to hit a lariat on him. But Hayes ducks, and he back body drops Gordy through a windshield! Hayes lays back over him, and Randy Anderson (looking very “white” in a WCW t-shirt, jeans, and a bandana) delivers a three count!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winner at 10:25 : Michael Hayes</em></p><p><em> Rating: C</em></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35691" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RonSimmons.jpg</span><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/GeneOkerlund.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> Back into the building, Mean Gene is backstage with Ron Simmons. The match will have five minute rounds, you cannot move on a grounded opponent, and you get two warnings for rulebreaking before being disqualified. The first round sees Regal go out of his way to toy with his young opponent, wrestling circles around him and making certain to try and fluster JPL. Much to Regal’s displeasure, JPL not only doesn’t fluster, but he manages to fire back some very nice technical offense to retaliate, and that sends Lord Regal out of the ring to regroup. Baron Tomas talks to him to get Regal calmed back down, and when he re-enters the ring, he’s much more serious about this match. It takes no time at all before his Lordship is caught using illegal leverage from the ropes, leading to his first warning. He looks upset, but more about being caught than anything. The first five minute round ends, with JPL looking somewhat smug about having lasted longer than Regal expected him to have. In the second round, JPL takes charge, using a running knee lift and clotheslines in order to turn the tide in his favor and bring the fans into the match. The undefeated young star tries to hook up the Pedigree, but Regal is able to trip him and delivers a surprising giant swing! Jesse says that’s smart, in this match you cannot do anything to a grounded opponent, but Nick Patrick obviously didn’t think that JPL was on the ground, so Regal gets away with that. His Lordship works in a headlock, which JPL fires him off of to hit a high knee after a criss-cross! It only gets a two count, and when he goes for another Pedigree, Lord Regal has only one way out, dropping to a knee and hitting a low blow! Nick Patrick admonishes him again, and he’s out of warnings. The next period ends as JPL comes back, peppering Regal with rights and lefts that rock him to his core. Lord Regal is on the ropes, and Baron Tomas is on the apron trying to talk strategy between rounds. When the time is up, Tomas is still on the apron, and Nick Patrick starts telling him he has to get down for the next round to start. As the two are talking, JPL comes over to Regal, and Regal blasts him in the stomach with the Baron’s cane! Nick Patrick saw nothing! Regal sends the cane flying to the floor on the other side of the ring and drills an illegal (in this match, anyways) fist drop into the downed JPL’s face before covering – 1! 2! 3! Lord Regal just cheated his way to breaking JPL’s undefeated streak!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winner in 10:12 : Lord Steven Regal</em></p><p><em> Rating: B-</em></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35691" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/BobbyHeenan2.jpg</span><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RicFlair.jpg</span><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ArnAnderson.jpg</span><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/DustinRhodes.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> We head backstage to see Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Dustin Rhodes sitting in the locker room alongside Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. They ask Dustin where his head is at tonight, and he says that he’s sorry to his friends, but he can’t be there for them tonight; he knows he physically cannot watch their match tonight knowing that it’s his mentors and friends battling his father. Vader goes straight for the hard-hitting offense, especially on an opponent who isn’t fast enough to dodge all of it, but what he doesn’t expect is that the Funker may take a few hits, but he hits back just as hard! Terry takes the opening advantage, surprising “The Monster” with left hands and sending him barreling out of the ring with a big clothesline! For once, Vader seems to have met his match, perhaps not in brute strength but in ability to take punishment and still give a beating! Funk follows after, not letting Vader get too far out of this element, and he sends the big man into the guardrail. Sonny Onoo looks like he might do something, but all it takes is one move toward him and he runs from Funk. Jesse says that he’s surprised it took this long for Funk and Vader to interact, after last year when the two were acting together against Sting. He says that he spoke to Onoo earlier tonight, and Sonny said that Vader was staying away from Terry out of respect, but now he’s signed his death warrant. Tony says that remains to be seen, as Funk goes under the ring and starts pulling out weaponry! He bashes Vader with an aluminum garbage can, before putting it on his torso and slamming him into the turnbuckle post! Funk fires Vader into the ring, bringing along a few weapons such as chairs, the aforementioned (and now bent) trash can, and a kendo stick, which Tony doesn’t know the name of. Funk takes the kendo and begins caning Vader with it, welts beginning to appear on his body! Terry then picks up the chair and slams it down onto the head of Vader – but it just pisses him off! Vader throws the chair away, and with the next swing of the kendo he grabs it and yanks Funk into essentially a short-arm clothesline! Vader splashes Funk as he’s on the mat, and Terry stays down. Vader now picks up the trash can and sets it on Funk before splashing him again! Funk starts to convulse, but Vader isn’t finished. He drags him to the corner and hits a Vaderbomb! Vader goes up again – another Vaderbomb! He calls to Onoo, who hands him a chair. He tells Sonny to hold it over Funk’s body! Even Sonny doesn’t want to do it, but Vader grabs his own manager and commands him to! A sign in the crowd seems ominous now, saying “Uncle Terry, Meet Chair!” Onoo, under duress, delicately places the chair on Funk’s torso, holding it there – and the bell sounds; Mickey Jay has stopped this match, in an effort to stop this madness!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winner in 9:50 by referee stoppage : Vader</em></p><p><em> Rating: B-</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Vader has won the match, but now he’s upset! He grabs Mickey Jay, shoving him to the mat. Tony says that looks like it’ll be a fine for Vader for assaulting an official, but unfortunately that’s the least of our worries right now, as Terry Funk has still not moved after those two malicious Vaderbombs. Vader now commands Onoo to hold the chair again, saying he’s going to finish what he started! Onoo doesn’t want to, but Vader makes him, intimidating his own manager into doing his bidding! Vader goes up on the ropes again, pointing out a sign in the crowd that says “Vader, Meet Godzilla, Godzilla, Meet Vader”. He bounces on the ropes, and…</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/CactusJack.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> …..takes a low blow! Jesse says that he hopes that doesn’t come back to bite him in the end. Orndorff capitalizes on Dustin’s distraction with his father though, something else that Ventura says, how even at his age Paul is still a great competitor and can take wrestlers half his age down on experience alone. Dustin does take control for quite a while, but Jesse’s foreshadowing comes back to haunt him; “The Natural” goes for a second rope bulldog that Orndorff ducks away from, and when Dustin gets back to his feet a small package ends the first fall for “Mr. Wonderful”.</p><p> </p><p> In the second fall, Dustin seems to be getting more to basics, and when he isn’t working at a bigger goal, by not paying as much attention to Dusty on the outside, he takes full control of the match, rocking Orndorff with youthful exuberance and showing that his nickname of “The Natural” is well earned. Natural talent is what he shows in spades, and even when Orndorff locks in a sleeperhold, Dustin’s deceptive height and reach get him to the ropes easily. After a round that – despite a few moments like the sleeperhold – is all Rhodes, Dustin ends up on top, enraging his father on the outside by pinning Orndorff after a bionic elbow.</p><p> </p><p> The score tied at 1-1, both men now are looking for the killing blow to get the victory. They trade chops for a little while, Dustin getting an advantage there from obvious knife-edge chop training from the “Nature Boy”. He sends Orndorff into the ropes and goes for a backdrop, but Orndorff kicks him, sending Dustin to the ropes. When Paul drops his head, Dustin drops to his back and punches him in the face! At that, Dusty yells at referee Nick Patrick, telling him that he needs to watch Dustin from cheating – and that’s when Orndorff catches him with a punch that sends Rhodes to the mat immediately! Right before Patrick turns back around, you can see Paul slipping something into his tights again! Tony cries foul, but there’s no escape from the jumping piledriver on this one, and “Mr. Wonderful” gets a surprising victory thanks to a well-timed distraction and object.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winner in 15:41 : Paul Orndorff</em></p><p><em> Rating: C</em></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35691" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Sting2.jpg</span><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/GeneOkerlund.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> Mean Gene is again backstage, this time along with “The Stinger”! In order to keep out of the fray, which has already spilled out around the ring, “The American Outlaw” has instead joined commentary for this match. Booker and Hawk trade blows in the ring, while Stevie and Animal are on the outside, and Randy Anderson (now back in his standard issue WCW referee attire) looks between the two of them as if watching a tennis match. Hawk and Animal get surprised by the resolve of their opponents, as all of their brawling is matched by the Heat and turned back to them. The match meanders through different combinations of them, up the ramp and back to the ring with a lot of punches and weapons. Stevie starts to take over in his fight with Hawk by utilizing a camera cable to choke him with, and then he goes after Animal. The brothers whip him to the ropes and deliver a double sidekick, Booker then going to the top for the move he used at Starrcade, Tony saying that Booker has dubbed that the “Harlem Hangover”. But Hawk comes up and shoves him, sending Booker flying clear down to the floor! With Booker incapacitated, the Road Warriors double team big Stevie Ray. Ray fights off both of them at first, but the numbers are too much, and the hometown brawlers are able to use their high impact offense of clotheslines and a powerslam, before setting him up and hitting the Doomsday Device! Booker finally stirs back to life, but he’s too slow to stop the count, and unfortunately to everyone but Dusty celebrating on commentary, we have new World Tag Team champions, members of the Kings of Wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winners in 15:49 : The Road Warriors</em></p><p><em> Rating: C+</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> The match over, Dusty enters the ring. He says that Harlem Heat, they might put up a good fight, but ain’t nobody as good at fighting as Chicago’s own Hawk and Animal! He then tags out to Duggan, who brings some 80’s brawling to the table, blasting the young Armstrong with hard right hands while giving a big thumbs up to the fans. Brad wants to tag in, but for a change from his past actions, Steve Austin instead volunteers to tag in to face off with his enemy of the last few months. He does take time to yell at a fan with a long sign reading “Austin........if you take this the wrong way, then I hope your parents die.......ok well maybe not but............You have no testicals or balls.......I warned you!”, Austin saying that he’ll be showing the kid’s girlfriend who has no balls after the show! Stunning Steve and Duggan lock up, with Duggan fighting ahead in the early goings and Austin playing keep-up. A blind charge trades the momentum though, and “Hacksaw” starts getting attacked from all sides as the Stud Stable simply trade off on him, tagging in and out at will and doing all they can to wear him out and keep him from making the tag. In something noted by Jesse, Austin never seems to be doing anything that Tony would call “underhanded” in the match, whereas the Armstrongs have no qualms with taking help from the outside by Parker.</p><p> </p><p> Duggan finally gets his chance to tag and he hot tags Patriot in, who is a house of fire taking on both Brad and BG, before ducking to the mat as both men get hit with a Bagwell crossbody from the top! It quickly becomes a massive donnybrook, all six men getting into the ring as referee Mickey Jay has lost all control! Bagwell clotheslines BG out of the ring, falling along with him to make it two on two in the ring. Patriot and Austin tangle, as Duggan has Brad in the corner. Austin knees Patriot in the stomach and shoves him down just as Jim tackles Brad to the outside, making it between the two legal men now. Austin picks Patriot up and is about to blast him with the Stungun, but chance is on his side as he tags Duggan back in! Austin hits the move, but when he goes for the cover, Duggan is already setting up in his three point stance! Parker yells to Austin to watch out, and when he turns around he barely dodges out of the way, Brad taking the hit instead! “Hacksaw” climbs to his feet and comes around right into Austin’s diamond cutter! Stunning Steve turns around and throws himself over Duggan, and Mickey Jay counts the fateful three as BG holds Bagwell back. Colonel Parker cheers jubilantly from the outside, as the crowd boos loudly, having lost one of their heroes at the hands of Stunning Steve Austin.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winners at 16:24 : The Stud Stable</em></p><p><em> Rating: C+</em></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35691" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Backstage we see Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, in their street clothes, talking strategy on their walk to the ring. Arn and Dusty are locked up on one side of the ring as Flair chops Hogan on the other side, and just like in the previous Chicago Street Fight, the poor referee – Nick Patrick in this case – has his work cut out for him in keeping an eye out on everyone. Each of the men were allowed to bring one weapon with them to the ring for this, but not everyone has them visible apparently because while Hogan’s lead pipe and Anderson’s tire iron are right on display, Flair and Dusty both appear weaponless. Flair is making up for it with his brutal chops though, lighting Hollywood’s chest up. Anderson comes over to help, and they whip Hogan to the ropes to hit a double knife-edge chop on him! A sign goes up in the crowd that says “Brawling with the Horsemen!” and that’s exactly what it has been so far.</p><p> </p><p> The Kings gain the upper hand by utilizing a low blow on Anderson, Dusty delivering a cowboy boot field goal kick between his legs as Hogan punches Flair with his taped fist. One thing that can be said for this match, for all the punching and kicking going on in this brawl, these four know when and how to make it work, and what helps is the molten crowd, who are so hot that the building may melt soon! Hollywood and Rhodes do a lot of working over Flair while keeping Anderson thrown out of the ring, keeping him from interfering in their business of breaking down “The Nature Boy”. Dusty finally goes out and gets his weapon from under the ring, which he must have placed earlier tonight – a bullrope! He brings it in and bashes Flair in the head with the cowbell on it, cutting him open! They bring “The Enforcer” in now, and they hang him over the top rope with the rope! Dusty pulls on it, choking Arn out with it! Hogan pushes Flair into the turnbuckle and jaws at him, telling him that he’ll never be as big as Hollywood! Hogan mockingly chops Flair – but Flair starts to mock Hogan back, Hulking Up on HIM! Only instead of walking across the ring, Flair struts, and instead of the three punches, he pokes him in the eye! Flair then turns to Rhodes, before unleashing his hidden weapon: a handful of powder, right in his eyes! Ric then picks up Double A’s tire iron, and he smashes it across Dusty’s head, causing him to bleed also! Flair chops Hollywood more, before taking his leg out with the tire iron! Flair walks around strutting more, and lets out a “Woooo!” while pointing to a crowd member in the front row who’s sign is “A Flair for the Gold baby, WOO!”</p><p> </p><p> “The Nature Boy” goes for the kill now, assaulting Hogan’s knees. He lifts Hollywood to his feet and sends him hobbling to the ropes, and when Flair ducks, Anderson lifts him into a spinebuster! Double A goes over and shoves Dusty out of the ring, as Flair locks in the figure four! Hogan is screaming in pain and agony! But Anderson gets taken out on the outside by Bubba Rogers! And into the ring comes The Butcher, who drops an elbow on Flair to break up the figure four – there’s nothing Nick Patrick can do about it! Meng is out now, and he holds Arn for Rogers to punish him with punches. Flair starts fighting with Butcher, but The Queen slips the World title into Hogan! While Flair is trying to push Butcher out of the ring, Hollywood nails him from behind with the belt! Flair crumples to the mat, and to add insult to injury, Hogan drops a big leg on him to get the win! The Kings of Wrestling stole this one!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winners in 16:23 : Hollywood Hogan and Dusty Rhodes</em></p><p><em> Rating: B+</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Flair and Anderson are both down, and they roll Arn back into the ring. Nick Patrick tries to call for the bell to get the KoW to leave, but Rogers shoves him out of the ring! Tony says that’s just disgusting, but Jesse says it doesn’t matter if they fine him, the KoW are able to pay the fines with no problems! Butcher hands Hogan a can of spraypaint, and they get ready to spray them, when the cavalry arrives!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Sting2.jpg</span><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RickySteamboat.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> Sting and Ricky Steamboat come screaming down to the ring, and they run off the collective with chairs! He seems very out of breath, but he holds his own while praising the Kings at every turn. Sting and Piper forego the standard opening and just start throwing fists at one another, which Piper gets the better of due to his boxing background. Roddy goes wild on Sting, biting his forehead to try and make him bleed early, but no luck as Sting fights his way out. A sign in the crowd says “Hot Rod will BLEED!” making an ominous prediction that Dusty says will never happen. Sting and Piper find their way out of the ring, and Sting nearly takes Roddy’s head off with a chair, but Piper ducks and the chair clangs off the turnbuckle! Piper pokes Sting in the eye and starts whipping him with his belt, causing red welts along his back! Jimmy Hart yells encouragement over his megaphone, annoying the fans in the front row.</p><p> </p><p> Sting comes back, grabbing the belt and having a tug of war with it, and the stronger Stinger is able to pull “Hot Rod” into the turnbuckles. From there Sting starts striking with chops and punches, working the crowd into a frenzy as he grabs the belt now! Sting whips Piper with it, sending him around the ring in a panic as he gets a taste of his own medicine! Sting fires Piper into the corner, and he leaps up to hit a Stinger Splash! He sends him into the other side, but this time Jimmy Hart jumps in the way! Hart takes the full force of the Splash, and Piper comes out swinging! He ducks a clothesline from Sting and locks on the sleeper! Dusty cheers, saying that once he puts Sting out, then he can take as long as he wants to make him bleed! The crowd boos heavily, as Sting slowly drops to the mat! Piper jumps up and laughs, kicking Sting’s head around! He goes to the apron and prepares to get a weapon – but behind his back, Sting gets up and tells the crowd to keep quiet! Dusty yells to try and get Piper’s attention, but he can’t hear – Sting is playing possum! When Roddy climbs back into the ring, he has a lead pipe! He stands over Sting, and prepares to use it in what would surely finish this match. But Sting kicks Piper low! Piper drops the bell, holding himself, as Dusty cries foul! Tony says that’s what the KoW have done to Sting, he would never have done that a few months ago! Sting gets up and pounds his chest, screaming to his “Little Stingers”! Piper starts begging off, but Sting will have none of it, firing him to the ropes and hitting him with a kick in the midsection, before going to the ropes himself and driving Roddy down with a facebuster, right onto the pipe! Jimmy Hart cries in horror, and as Piper rolls over, Mark Curtis calls for the bell that isn’t there – Roddy is bleeding profusely! Sting has won this battle! The show goes off the air with Roddy being helped to the back by Hart and Rhodes, and they are all yelling at the ring that this isn’t over!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:right;"><p><em>Winner in 16:45 : Sting</em></p><p><em> Rating: B+</em></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWlogo.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Prediction Contest Results</span></p><p> angeldelayette: 4/9</p><p> TheBigBad1013: 6/9</p><p> Chuck: 3/9</p><p> The Final Countdown: 5/9</p><p> pakonruff: 7/9</p><p> Ritchardo: 5/9</p><p> Russelrules44: 5/9</p><p> Smasher1311: 5/9</p><p> TeflonBilly: 4/9</p><p> </p><p> Just barely, pakonruff edges out everyone! <p>That was a great show. You made much better use of the Uncensored concept than WCW ever did (even if you didn't have Dustin wrestle in the back of a truck! <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)</p><p> </p><p>

Savage vs. Pillman was the match I was most interested in personally, but I never dreamed it would rate an A! I didn't think Pillman was over enough yet, but maybe he's more over than I thought. Did they have good chemistry, by chance?</p><p> </p><p>

Steiners vs. Road Warriors sounds great to me. I do wonder what happens to Harlem Heat, though. I figured they'd be chasing Hawk and Animal for a while, but with Rick and Scott immediately supplanting them, they seem to be the odd team out. </p><p> </p><p>

Seems I was wrong about Duggan, but I won't shed any tears for him. HOOOOO!</p><p> </p><p>

Which is amazing given Savage is getting the most minimal of bump for time decline - he literally JUST started declining a month after I signed him.</p><p> </p><p> I'll talk more about Duggan in the upcoming Hotline. <p>WCW Hotline: January 1995, Week 3</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">Pro Wrestling Illustrated Exclusive!!</span></strong></p><p> <em>World Championship Wrestling: At the Top of the World!</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> A lot of people doubted WCW when they signed Hulk Hogan, and scoffed again when the supergroup Kings of Wrestling formed. But the gambit seems to have paid off, as many are now considering World Championship Wrestling as the number one promotion in the world, the first time since the early 80's that a company has surpassed the mighty World Wrestling Federation. That is not to say that the WWF is dead and buried yet, as there is a long climb to the top in this war. But if WCW can continue to keep up the quality that their Saturday Night flagship and monthly pay-per-view schedule has in the last six months, who's to say what can happen? Especially since rumor has it that the higher-ups of the company are murmuring about the possibility of a live show to go head-to-head with Monday Night Raw. Only time will tell what will happen in the future between these two titans of pro wrestling. WCW heads have said that the push for SuperBrawl and especially the Great American Bash should prove to be very fruitful for the company, and they are looking to leave their competition in the dust as soon as possible!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWHotline.jpg</span><p> <strong>WCW Hotline</strong></p><p><strong> 3rd Week of January 1995</strong></p><p> <em>Option 1: WCW SuperBrawl V Control Center!</em></p><p><em> Option 3: News on “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan!</em></p><p><em> Option 4: WCW Saturday Night preview!</em></p><p><em> Option 5: Last week’s ratings battle!</em></p><p><em> Option 6: Backstage after Uncensored!</em></p><p><em> Option 8: That Other Show!</em></p><p><em> Option 9: A Special Gift from the WCW Catalog!</em></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Option 1: SuperBrawl V Control Center!</span></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35691" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The fifth edition of SuperBrawl is upon us! But I like the story of them trying to impress the group by taking on their enemies. Do they succeed this week?!</p><p> </p><p> The Orndorff push is all TFC's fault, for making me go against him so many times in Golden Age!! ....Plus, the excellent chemistry note for him and Meng is great.</p><p> </p><p> And yeah, I'm so glad that the game has pushed me up to #1. It's not by much at all, WCW and WWF are literally at a dead heat. The race right now for both is heading to international, and I really don't know which of us will get it first. Places where I'm more popular (like Japan) are evened out by places they are (like Canada) but neither of us have made the jump upwards as of yet. I did kinda make a sideways jump to England by getting on BBC, though. That seems to have been a good thing.</p><p> </p><p> This really is the right timeframe for a story like the Kings of Wrestling to happen. Hogan, Savage, Flair, and Piper are over the peak but not out of their primes yet, and they've put on great matches with practically anyone I throw at them. Add in the early rise of the Loose Cannon and Sting's ascension, and there's no reason why this WCW won't make it! Especially if I go ahead with thoughts and in a few months unleash Nitro on the world...</p>

Winning Team Chooses Stipulation

“Nature Boy” Ric Flair & “Enforcer” Arn Anderson vs. Hollywood Hogan & “Macho Man” Randy Savage w/The Queen

Diamond Dallas Page w/Col. Robert Parker vs. Sting

Comments: Because Sting.

WCW World Tag Team Championships

The Road Warriors w/Dusty Rhodes vs. Texas Regulators

Comments: The Steiners interfere after the match and attack the LOD, adding more heat to the SuperBrawl match.

WCW World Television Championship

“Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman vs. BG Armstrong w/Col. Robert Parker

Comments: Because he's awesome.

The Butcher w/Jimmy Hart vs. Ron Simmons

Comments: Ron is having tough days, so he regains momentum here.

The Steiner Brothers vs. The Nasty Boys

Comments: Give them momentum for the LOD match.

Winners Get a Tag Team Title Shot (either set)

Stars ‘n Stripes vs. Wonderful Destruction Crew w/Dusty Rhodes

Fun Fan Signs: ''The tower of power, the man of the hour, too sweet to be sour, the Macho Man Randy Savage, YEAH!''

Comments on Previous Show: A awesome Uncensored. Pillman vs. Savage delivered what it promised, and the rest did the same. Great return in the Steiners, they vs. LOD should make a interesting feud.
