Flair responds that he wants the title match that he was promised by winning at WrestleWar – at SuperBrawl! Hogan laughs that he has no problems destroying “the Nature Girl” again, but Flair ups the ante; he says that whoever team wins the match tonight, will get to decide the match’s stipulation! The brothers are on fire from bell to bell, even when the Nastys take over for a little while it doesn’t take much more than a quick Steinerline to put them back in the driver’s seat. One thing that does go over well is just how the four men work in this one, everyone showing off that they are at the top of their game, but Knobbs and Sags prove that, just as in the past few months, they just aren’t able to get it done in the end. Sags gets taken out by a Frankensteiner, accompanied on the outside by a fan’s sign in the air that says “FRANKENSTEINER!” and then a big Steiner Bulldog puts Knobbs away when Scott covers him.

Winners: The Steiner Brothers

Rating: B-

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Animal.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Hawk.jpg

As the Steiners victoriously walk backstage, a camera catches them passing by the Road Warriors as they head toward the ring for their match. The Warriors tell them to watch on, and they’ll show the brothers how it’s done! Jack has a microphone, and he says that he has a bone to pick with a big boy who he knows is back there, that being Vader! “The Monster” emerges, Sonny Onoo behind him looking terrified and doing all he can to keep Vader from going to the ring. Onoo gets him a microphone as well, and Vader says that obviously Jack’s brains are more scrambled than he thought, because only a fool calls out Vader! Cactus says that maybe he is a fool, but he’s a fool with purpose, and that purpose is to get revenge for his partner, mentor, and best friend Terry Funk! Jack says that he’s known Terry Funk for a long time, and if Terry is beaten up enough that he’s not here tonight, then that means Terry is pretty badly hurt yet, and there’s only one man to blame for that: Vader himself. Cactus says that maybe Vader needs taught a lesson, and maybe he won’t be the one to do it, but he will give the rest of WCW a lesson: not to be afraid of monsters! Vader laughs, and Sonny takes point to say that they had already figured Cactus be stupid enough to want to face off with Big Vader, and they will only do it in a standard singles match. He says that after the damage inflicted on Terry Funk at Uncensored, they will only agree to a match that can be stopped by a referee’s discretion. Cactus says that if it means he gets his hands on Vader, then so be it – he’ll see them at Starrcade! Before Vader leaves, however, he warns him to think about his actions in the future; you never know who might have the fortitude to step up and look “The Monster” in the eyes! Vader laughs the statement off, as Cactus smirks in the ring, yelling out a “Bang Bang!” that gets a loud cheer from the crowd.

Rating: B

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Butcher.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/JimmyHart2.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/vs.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RonSimmons.jpg
The Butcher w/Jimmy Hart vs. Ron Simmons

In a match that took place at Starrcade, Butcher looks to finally pull out the big thorn in the KoW’s side, but much the opposite happens; never is Butcher able to get a clear advantage, as Ron dismantles him from bell to bell. Jimmy Hart tries to get on the apron, but Simmons sends Butcher careening into him, knocking him back off to the ground! Butcher gets a short flurry of offense and tries to lock on his patented sleeperhold, but it almost has no effect, as Ron stands up with Butcher on his back and flips him over his head to slam him to the canvas! Ron backs off and hits a running shoulder tackle that knocks Butcher out cold, getting a three count with just his hands on his fallen, defeated opponent.

Winner: Ron Simmons

Rating: C+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWTV.jpg
http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BrianPillman2.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/vs.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BrianJames.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/RobertFuller.jpg

WCW World Television Championship

“Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman vs. BG Armstrong w/Colonel Robert Parker

The champion looks to be in an even fouler, wilder mood than usual, his loss to Savage at Uncensored weighing heavily on his mind. Or so we think, because nobody seems to know what is on Pillman’s mind anymore, not even him at times. BG puts up a solid fight against him in this match though, showing that the Armstrongs are still sound competitors and also showing why they are in the Stud Stable. BG manages to shut down a lot of Brian’s high flying offense, and commentary seem to start thinking a title change could take place here. Bobby says that would definitely please Commissioner Bockwinkel, and Jesse scoffs, saying it’s a conspiracy against Brian and Stunning Steve that Bockwinkel is so against them. Ventura points out that while Austin and Pillman have defended their titles nearly week in and week out, he hasn’t seen the US Tag titles in weeks, and Hogan certainly hasn’t defended HIS title in quite some time! Tony shrugs it off by going back to calling the action, saying that he’s sure the good commissioner knows what he’s doing. The end of the match sees Armstrong trying to set Pillman up for a pumphandle slam, but Brian fights his arm free and his elbow catches BG in the eye! Tony wonders if that was intentional or not, but one Loaded Gun DDT later and it doesn’t matter, as Brian retains his title.

Winner and STILL WCW World Television Champion: Brian Pillman

Rating: B-

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ThePatriot.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MarcusBagwell.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/vs.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/PaulOrndorff.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Meng.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/DustyRhodes2.jpg
Winners Receive a Tag Team Title Shot

Stars ‘n Stripes vs. Wonderful Destruction Crew w/Dusty Rhodes

On their way to the ring, Patriot poses with a fan’s sign that says “Hacksaw! We miss you!” but no backup comes for Stars ‘n Stripes once they get into the ring. Meng and Orndorff’s amazing teamwork keeps Patriot on the defensive for much of the match, with Bagwell chomping at the bit to get tagged into the ring. Patriot finally gets some separation by sending Meng out of the ring with a back body drop, and both men make a tag. Bagwell comes in, but after a short flurry, the Armstrong Brothers come out and get his attention, yelling at him from outside the ring! His concentration broken, Marcus falls prey to a jumping piledriver to give the Crew the victory!

Winners: Wonderful Destruction Crew

Rating: C

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MichaelHayes.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/TerryGordy.jpg

Michael Hayes is in the ring next, and he has a very big smile on his face after Uncensored. Hayes says that it appears then that he and Gordy are at one-to-one… and it’s about time for the rubber match at SuperBrawl! Terry comes out, and he stares Hayes down – before attacking! But Michael attacks right back! The two best friends turned bitter enemies are in a huge fight, and neither man are getting the upper hand! These two’s match could very much go either way, with the crowd rooting on their hero Stinger all the way and Page doing all he can to secure a victory. As the match ticks away, both men seem to be getting frustrated with not being able to put one another away, and that’s when Colonel Parker makes his move. He gets on the apron and distracts Sting, and DDP rushes in from behind to shove Sting into a punch from the Colonel – but he moves, and Page takes the punch! DDP goes down, and Sting grabs his legs straight into the Scorpion Deathlock! Dallas has no choice but to submit, and afterwards he and Parker argue the whole way up the aisle!

Winner: Sting

Rating: B

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/SteveAustin.jpg

Stunning Steve Austin comes out, US title slung over his shoulder, and Tony seems far less excited for his big celebration ceremony than what Jesse and Bobby are. The ring is strangely set up with a grill, a cooler, and an American flag. Getting a microphone, Austin talks about how he’s so glad that he did what he said he would, and ended Jim Duggan’s brush with greatness! Steve makes fun of the fans for cheering on someone like Duggan, saying he was never half the great wrestler that Austin is! Austin says that in light of this, he’s holding an American celebration for everyone’s favorite United States champion, and the best US champ ever – him! Austin gets into the cooler and gets out a beer, cracking it open and lifting the hood of the grill to throw on a hot dog, but someone spoils the party!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Sting2.jpg

STING! Sting comes out of the back, his facepaint still worn off after the match against DDP. Sting grabs Austin’s microphone when Metallica fades, and says that he has always known that Stunning Steve has little shame, but this has gone too far – now he’s disrespecting the whole nation? And for what, just to get a dig at Jim Duggan, a man who is now forced to watch the show from home? Austin says if Sting is just out here to ruin his celebration, then he better check himself to the door of this party, because hell might be about to break loose! Sting says that he would like to have some hell raised right about now, and as upset as he is about Austin’s “ceremony”, he has something else on his mind, and it’s right there – pointing at the United States title! Sting explains that it’s an unwritten rule in pro wrestling that the United States champion is automatically the number one contender for the World Heavyweight title, and so logically working through that, Austin is standing in Sting’s way of taking the big gold from Hollywood Hogan! Austin says that if Sting wants some gold, he better go chase down Brian or find himself a partner, because ain’t no way Stunning Steve is gonna just roll over for anybody! Sting retorts that he’s counting on it. He adds that since he just defeated Austin’s “goon” Page, then how about we skip the formalities, and get right to the point – Sting, Austin, the US title, at SuperBrawl! The two men go nose to nose, Austin saying that Sting will be sorry he ever stuck his face where his nose doesn’t belong! He does say that Sting can join in the celebration though now that he’s here… and he spits beer in his face! “The Stinger” is ready to fight, but Austin runs, taunting Sting from the aisle! Hogan and Flair show exceptional action between the two of them, but the one who surprises everyone is Anderson; proving that he belongs in the same breath as these guys easily, brawling with Savage and Hogan in what Bobby says “should have been happening back in the 80’s, but certain people were too afraid to see it happen!” Savage takes over with his crazy offense though, snapping Arn’s head over the top rope, and the KoW take over on him by working over his neck and head. At one point Hollywood chokes him on the top rope, until referee Mark Curtis admonishes him, which leads to a sign from a fan of little hope that says “Damn you Hogan! I was rooting for the Natcha Boy-a!”

“The Enforcer” has a lot to prove though, and he stays in the match by catching Savage coming off the top rope with a spinebuster! Arn goes for a tag, and so does Savage, but Hollywood has already come into the ring and just as Arn and Ric make the tag, from behind Hogan knocks Mark Curtis down! Hogan starts waving to the back, and out comes the troops! California Kip, The Butcher, and Meng all come sprinting down to the ring, Meng attacking Anderson while Kip and Butcher go after Flair! But here comes Dustin Rhodes! Rhodes takes Meng out and brawls with him back up the aisle! Savage tosses Anderson out of the ring and goes out after him. Hogan, Kip, and Butcher stay in the ring and work over Flair, with Kip and Butcher trading shots on him while Hogan taunts “The Nature Boy”. Savage comes back into the ring, and there’s some commotion going on in the stands. Hogan is ready to level Flair with a spraypaint can, when a woman jumps the railing and shoves Butcher into Hollywood’s back, sending both men careening out of the ring! The woman produces the WCW Television title and smashes Savage with it! She whips the wig off just as security enter the ring, and it was Brian Pillman all along! He tackles Kip out of the ring as Mark Curtis is coming back around, and Savage starts getting up before being rolled up by Flair! Mark doesn’t call for the bell, but instead counts 1! 2! 3! Flair and Anderson win!

Winners: Ric Flair and Arn Anderson

Rating: A

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/kow.jpg

Ric and Arn leave the ring, Pillman and Kip had brawled out of the arena. Hollywood, Savage, and Butcher are still in the ring, and Hogan gets a microphone. He says that something is rotten in Denmark, brothers, and he needs some help out here to figure out what it is. Roddy Piper and the Road Warriors come out, and they all look confused at what the champion wants. Hollywood says that lately, things just don’t seem to be going the KoW’s way, and he thinks he knows what the problem is: people who aren’t holding their weight around here. Hollywood taps Savage and Animal on the back, and says to get him! Suddenly everyone swarms Butcher! The Warriors hoist him up and hit a Doomsday Device on him, and Hogan rolls him over to paint a black “KoW” on his back, before taking up the microphone to say that this man is his best friend, and he just kicked him out like yesterday’s garbage; what’cha think we’re gonna do to the rest of WCW now?! The show fades off the air with the KoW in the ring, defeated in battle but still ready to face off this war.

Rating: C+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWMainEvent-1.jpg
WCW Main Event

Announcers: Gordon Solie, Eric Bischoff, and Bobby Heenan

Rating: C

Lord Steven Regal defeated Jumpin’ Joey Maggs with the Regal Stretch (C-)

Eric Bischoff interviews Dusty Rhodes and Bubba Rogers about Bubba’s match next week with Sting (C+)

Texas Regulators defeat Devon Storm and The Gambler (D-)

A video plays for the Steiner Brothers (C-)

The Shooters debut in the ring, putting away the Young Pistols (D+)

A video plays recapping Austin's celebration being ruined by Sting (B)

Tommy Rich squashes Kimo (E+)

The Armstrong Brothers are interviewed by Gene Okerlund, saying it’s not over for them and Stars ‘n Stripes (D+)

The Armstrongs defeat Mark Starr and Super Nova (D+)

A video recaps the closing moments of the main event from Saturday Night (B)

Michael Hayes pins Steve Keirn ©

Michael “P.S.” Hayes vs. Lord Steven Regal w/Baron Tomas

Comments: Gordy interferes for the Regal win, but i wouldn't be surprised to see JPL here too.

“Dog-Faced Gremlin” Rick Steiner vs. Road Warrior Animal w/Dusty Rhodes

Comments: Road Warriors take first blood.

Diamond Dallas Page w/Col. Robert Parker vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton

Comments: I can still see DDP as being the one to take Pillman's TV title as he moves up the card. Pillman dropping through Austin's interference would give a storyline reason for the Cannon to move to the US title level and give you a barnstomer of a title feud.

Fun Fan Signs: Hard Times ahead KoW!

So just FYI.

For one, thank you all for the comments. As I see people saying it gets better each time, I feel that; especially since Starrcade. Even I'll admit, jitters about getting to Starrcade were really bothering me, and I feel like it showed. But getting past that, now I have ideas coming to fruition and it's gotten to be just much more fun again. The only "problem" I've had with this game is just sometimes it's damn tough to know where to go next with all these huge names!

For two, I'm going to begin implementing the Mammoth Gimmick File. So for the most part, new gimmicks will be using that; so don't be surprised to see people's gimmicks start really overlapping, but yet not overlapping because they're all set to be different types. If you haven't checked his file out yet, I really think ya should, I have no qualms about promoting its use!

I'd gladly take him - isn't like I haven't dealt well so far with all the rest of the locker room headaches around WCW. But unfortunately his contract isn't up yet. But I don't know if I'd be able to when the time comes anyways, as he's set to be loyal to the WWF.

Tony says that Savage has been in the ring since before we went on the air, and Heenan says he hasn’t shut up since! Savage rants that last week, he was humiliated by a man in a dress, and these sorta things don’t just happen and then go unpunished by the Macho Man! He says that Pillman is livin’ very dangerous lately, and who would know better than the Macho Man about bein’ in the danger zone, yeah! Randy says that WCW are in for a big surprise when they find out they can’t make a fool of the Macho Man, because someone’s gonna get hurt over this, and they’re gonna get hurt bad! He says that people have been afraid of him for years, that’s why they try to shuffle him off to the side, but he’s the real deal! And everyone’s afraid of facing the Macho Man ‘cause they’re gonna fall hard! And nobody beats the Macho Man on the grand stage, diggit?! One fan must agree with him, as his sign in the crowd says “In this town, we call home, Everyone hail to the K-o-Dub”.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RickySteamboat.jpg

Savage is interrupted by “Sirius” as the fans come to life! “The Dragon” comes out with his own microphone, and he stands at the top of the aisle and says nobody beats the Macho Man on the grand stage? There are 70-some thousand people in Detroit a few years ago who saw differently! Savage starts to rant that “that was a fluke, yeah!” but Steamboat continues over him. “Everyone’s afraid of facing the Macho Man? Well I’m not, and I never have been!” Steamboat closes the segment by saying that the only thing he sees that’s changed since then, is that while both men have gotten a little older, Savage has only gotten crazier in his age, but Ricky has grown wiser. With that, he leaves, Randy living up to that assessment in the ring by kicking the ropes and screaming for “The Dragon” to come to the ring! Tony talks about how we just started on a huge segment to open the show, and if previous weeks on WCW Saturday Night are any indication, it’ll only get bigger and better from here!

Rating: B+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MichaelHayes.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/vs.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/StevenRegal.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/LannyPoffo.jpg
Michael “P.S.” Hayes vs. Lord Steven Regal w/Baron Leonard Tomas

This one should have been a total clash of styles, as the brawler Hayes takes on the technical acumen of Lord Regal. And that is what it looks like when either man is in control; Regal does what he can to slow the match down and put it on the mat, and when Hayes comes back he does so with wild abandon and dramatic offense that takes his Lordship out of his gameplan. Tomas doesn’t interfere, but he does keep Regal’s head in the game and keep him calmed down when “P.S.” gets on the offensive. Lord Regal seems perplexed at ringside at a sign that says “Being Pure Sexy isn’t Royal!” as he yells at the fan holding it “Who are you cheering for?!?” This match is unfortunately cut short as an appearance by Terry Gordy happens just as Hayes is about to hit the DDT on Regal. As referee Randy Anderson is telling Tomas to get off the ring apron, Gordy slips into the ring and hammers his bitter rival with a lariat so hard that takes him for a backflip! Terry leaves the ring and ducks down, giving Anderson no idea that he was even there. Regal puts on the Regal Stretch, and Gordy watches over the ring apron… but even half knocked out, Hayes won’t submit! Regal finally releases the hold, much to Gordy’s chagrin as Lord Regal drills a knee into the back of Michael’s head to put him out in a very good opening contest.

Winner: Lord Steven Regal

Rating: C+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/TerryGordy.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MichaelHayes.jpg

As the snobby duo leave the ring, Hayes comes to and finds Gordy on the outside laughing as he rubs his hands together. Terry seems to want Hayes to know exactly what happened, that he just cost him a big victory! Gordy turns on his heel to head to the back, but Hayes quickly climbs onto the apron and dives onto his back! Hayes hammers Terry with punches, as Gordy turns around the two throw wild fists! Bobby says he doesn’t know if this is WCW Saturday Night or Saturday night at the local bar! The two fight with one another as security come out and they get forced backstage where things are presumably broken up.

Rating: D+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/NickBockwinkel.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Kip.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/JimmyHart2.jpg

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel is backstage in his office, and he’s being visited by members of the Kings of Wrestling, California Kip and manager Jimmy Hart. Hart is bragging up to Nick about how well the KoW and especially Kip have been doing in the past few weeks, trying to convince him that Kip is worth a title match, but Bockwinkel doesn’t seem to be going for what he’s selling, saying that the KoW members seem to be having trouble defending titles they’ve won. Hart then says that he knows what will get Bockwinkel to agree to what they want right now. Kip leans over the desk and says that, especially after last week, he wants Pillman. The commissioner smiles, and says that “if he’s not mistaken, Mr. Pillman has an open card for, say… Superbrawl?” Nick says that he will get back to them with the details, and Hart shakes the commissioner’s hand in agreement before leaving.

Rating: C+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/DDP.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/RobertFuller.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/vs.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BobbyEaton2.jpg
Diamond Dallas Page w/Colonel Robert Parker vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton

Eaton shakes hands with a fan who has a sign in the front row that says “Hey Bobby! Remember me?” Apparently he remembered. Diamond Dallas Page is obviously in this one to shake off the slump he’s been in lately, and commentary are torn on who is to blame. Bobby and Jesse say that it’s just possible that Page isn’t cutting it anymore, as Tony says that all of Page’s losses the past few weeks have been the result of Colonel Parker’s interference going awry. In this one, Dallas goes straight after the veteran Bobby, not giving him much of a chance to breathe as he takes the offense and rarely lets it go. Eaton struggles back, using all of his wiles to his advantage, coming off the top with a big missile dropkick that swings the momentum his way. Bobby climbs to the top, looking to end this match with the Alabama Jam, when Parker gets up on the apron! Nick Patrick is being detained by Page, and Colonel Parker shoves Eaton off the top – but Eaton turns it into a crossbody on Dallas! He hooks the leg, and there’s nothing Page can do – this one’s over, and Page and Parker are arguing for the second week in a row!

Winner: Bobby Eaton

Rating: C+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/JPL.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/GordonSolie.jpg

Gordon Solie is backstage and he brings in JPL, asking him about Lord Steven Regal and the unfortunate manner at which he was robbed of his undefeated streak at Uncensored. What follows is a promo that nobody expected to see from the young star, as he goes on a tangent about how yeah, he got cheated – but he should have expected that, and he’s not here to whine about it. He only did that before, because he was following in Regal’s footsteps. Instead of keeping up with the past, instead he’s looking toward the future, and the future will see him get his revenge on Regal for that. He says how Regal got another cheap win earlier tonight, as it seems that’s how his Lordship does things. So he wants to give another chance to someone else who’s gotten cheated by Regal, and on behalf of Michael Hayes, he’s challenging Lord Regal and Terry Gordy to a match next week on Saturday Night! And next week, he also will take a microphone and call Regal out for a return match at SuperBrawl!

Rating: B-

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/TerryFunk.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Vader.jpg

Terry Funk is out in the ring with a microphone, and he immediately says that he wants to see that big sack’a crap Vader out here in front of him right now! He says that last week, Cactus gave Vader a warning, to watch what he does because who knows who will stand up to “The Monster”. Vader says that he knows no fear, and no pain – whoever could possibly stand up to him makes no matter! Terry nods his head, saying that he’s glad Vader feels that way. Because when the old school bred wrestlers take offense to his actions, then he won’t be hiding from them!

And Vader gets hit by a steel chair from behind! He gets a microphone and talks about how something’s been bugging him the past few weeks. He says that he’s been watching as a career nobody has been involved in huge things on Saturday Night, and it just rubs him the wrong way. Piper says that in his career, he’s been the guy who was overlooked, he’s been the big cheese, and he’s been the better man who got passed over, but he’s never just been “backup” which is why when they started the Kings of Wrestling, he was the first one of the Trinity to come out of the woodwork. But now he sees “backup” getting chances that he doesn’t deserve, and that’s a problem. With that in mind, he calls out… Arn Anderson.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ArnAnderson.jpg

“The Enforcer” shows no fear, marching down to the ring and not just getting a microphone, but forcibly ripping it from Piper! Roddy bows out, going over and getting one of his own again, as Anderson tells him very calmly that he’s had a lot of people say a lot of things about him in his career and his life. He’s had people call him glorified backup for a long time. He’s had people call him Flair’s underling and a horse’s ass. But of all the things he’s heard over the years, he’s never had someone try to tell him that he has gotten something he doesn’t deserve! Arn says that he and Piper are in the same boat; they’re both guys who have never been able to climb that mountain. But, Arn says, at least he didn’t get there because he made it that way – not because he wasn’t good enough to do it! Piper fires back that Anderson took the coward’s way out then, and the two men go nose-to-nose! “Double A” says that he’s not a man of many words, that he prefers to do his talking in the ring. He knows Piper, and he knows that he’ll sit out here and talk until a normal man is blue in the face… but that’s exactly how “The Enforcer” can fight ya. Anderson says that if Roddy wanted to goad him into a match, a fight, or anything in between, he doesn’t have to talk; all he has to do is make sure he has something manly under that kilt, and Anderson will be waiting. Arn turns and walks out of the ring, as Piper says that he’ll face him, he’ll face him right here on Saturday Night – in two weeks! Anderson doesn’t even give him an answer; instead, he turns around and points at Piper, before slowly drawing his thumb across his throat! But he hears from WCW staff that next week, the Rock ‘n Roll Express are gonna be facing Paul Orndorff and Meng for their US Tag titles. Morton says that now he has no problems with having a match. But what gets him is that these two veterans have more often than not needed the help of their manager to get to where they are. He says that the Rock ‘n Rolls are no strangers to dealing with a team who have to rely on a third party to get involved. Can you dig that, sucka?” Knobbs works over Booker for quite a while in the corner, Sags joining in and keeping the ring cut off. But Stevie Ray comes in to even the odds, turning this one into a huge brawl, until the inevitable happens and Booker is able to come off the top with his Harlem Hangover on Knobbs to secure the victory. Dusty says that he has a lot of things on his plate now, and especially now, as his Road Warriors are gonna take down the Steiners and next week his undefeated Wonderful Destruction Crew would be taking the US Tag titles for the Kings of Wrestling! He just doesn’t have time to play with Dustin anymore now that he’s managing so many big names in the KoW, but Dustin shouldn’t be too upset about that; after all, he should be used to his father being busy and kept away from home by now. Dustin seethes, before gritting his teeth and telling Dusty that he’s going to MAKE him make time for him now in ways that he wasn’t able to as a little boy in Texas, and that’s by taking something so dear to him and taking it away! He says that at Uncensored, he’ll gladly admit that Paul Orndorff is one hell of a wrestler, but he could not defeat Dustin Rhodes without a foreign object! Dusty says quickly that he can’t have another match with Orndorff. “Mista Wondafoo” is going to be far too busy in his new tag team career. Dustin, even quicker, says that’s great, because that’s what he wants; he wants Dusty’s Wonderful Destruction Crew, in the ring! Dusty says there will be no mystery partner stuff going on, to which Dustin says that next week, he will tell for sure his partner, and at SuperBrawl, Dusty’s Wonderful Destruction Crew will be destroyed! Signs in the crowd range from “The Gremlin is a Warrior!” to “It’s a fact: Steiner is GOD!” which gets the fan into an argument with “The American Outlaw” on the outside. Rick surprises Animal by throwing the much larger foe around with a few suplexes, but the biggest thing to note in the match is that neither man backs down an inch from one another. The fans are molten hot for this match, and as it draws longer and longer, both of them start to wear down. Animal shows frustration by choking Steiner on the middle rope, earning a warning from Mark Curtis. But when Curtis turns to admonish the Tag champion further, Dusty slips over and bashes Rick on the top of the head with a bionic elbow! Scott gets a microphone of his own, and he replies that he hopes Hawk has more guts than his partner does, because that way when they meet next week, maybe he won’t let their fat manager hand him a cheap win that proves nothing! Dusty now is upset, as he gets held back by both Hawk and Animal from rushing the Steiners, who egg him on! The fans want to see it, a sign in the crowd shown reading “Woof! Woof! They aren’t here to back anybody up though, as Booker gets a microphone from Stevie and in no uncertain terms says that it’s only been two weeks and he’s sick of both teams! Booker says that the Steiner Brothers may have been huge before, but that was before Harlem Heat got on the scene and lit the tag team division ablaze, sucka! He says that they’re tired of being overlooked, and it’s about time that they got their due – the Steiners snuck in the back door to get a title shot set up first, but the Heat will be the ones with the belts again in the end! Zbyszko says that when he saw Malenko and Storm attack them a few weeks ago, he saw shades of himself in them. But they’ve claimed that they’re being led by someone we haven’t seen yet, and if they’re gonna have someone watching their back, then Badd and Wright need someone to watch theirs. Piper says he’ll tear “The Enforcer” up good, and Orndorff talks about how winning the US Tag belts will be just wonderful. Paul also adds that no matter what Flair throws at Hollywood, the KoW have his back. Piper says that after last week, everyone is on high alert. “Macho Man” is red hot in the background, slamming a chair on the wall. A fan’s sign decrees that there are “Hard Times ahead KoW!” and Sting certainly does all he can to give their “Guardian Angel” a hard time. Dusty pounds on the mat as Rogers takes the initiative immediately, assaulting “The Stinger” with a hard-hitting attack straight out of the opening bell. Rogers’s power game takes center stage as he batters Sting from one side of the ring to the other, never letting up on him. Even when Sting does start to come back, that’s when Roddy Piper comes out and causes a distraction, putting the match right back in Bubba’s ballpark! Sting starts to fight back again, and the KoW try to bring him down again, but this time, he gets backup – Ron Simmons comes out of the crowd while Dusty and Piper have Tommy Young’s attention, and he runs in and hits a big powerslam on Rogers! Simmons slips out of the ring and makes Piper and Rhodes back away from the ring, as Sting spins in the Scorpion Deathlock! Flair says that it’s great to be here in Seattle, where the girls are ready to get in the hotel rooms out of the rain at a minute’s notice when “The Nait-cha Boy” is in town! Getting down to business, Flair says that last week, he won a golden ticket, being able to name the stipulation for his match at SuperBrawl Five against Hollywood Hulkster for the richest prize in the game! Comments: RnR don't seem to be going anywhere right now. Not confident in this prediction either though.

Fun Fan Signs: Dory Funk JUNIOR? HOW OLD IS SENIOR?!!

Comments on Previous Show: Sorry Bobby... it's sometimes hard to put yourself in the 1995 mentality when predicting - we all know that Page mutated into something of a star while Bobby was winding down by this point... good to see him get some love though! Austin/Sting is really hotting up as an undercard attracton - can't see Sting taking the US title though, if only because it means at some point he has to drop it again!
