Maybe this is a better spot to put this than in the tech support.

So I have ran into what I guess is a glitch that makes the game unplayable in my opinion. Multiple times I have tried to run seasons (historical) and within a few years there is a yellow or worse free agent crop. Yet when I begin the season at least 2 teams have minimum contract all star teams. I'm guessing waivers, but still am not sure. Anyone else see anything like this.

It's made me quit quite a few sims in the last few days. Killed a really addicting game for me.

I have a historical league that I've run from 1946 to 2016 we it has transitioned to fictional players. Over the last few seasons I have noticed that some players will change natural positions. I had a SF change to PG which actually fit the players skills. I've had another player move back and forth between SG & SF which makes since because he played both for me. But, I just had a PF switch to SG which he never played. I've only noticed the position switches the last few seasons. Is this a glitch or part of the programming.

Also, is there a way to increase the AI difficulty? I've now won the championship 7 of the last 8 seasons. I never have the most talented team so I am assuming that the AI just doesn't know how to balance a team with role players. It didn't bother me when I won five straight championships...I just patted myself on the back for being such a great GM. But, when I lost that sixth championship I decided to retool and won the next two championships. As much as I like winning I would like it to be much harder. Granted it did take me 60 seasons to understand the program to this level but still.

Obviously, I love this game or I wouldn't have been playing it for 70 seasons. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

A couple of ideas for international play

on the team roster screen, to have the national flag of the players on the squad.

also, to be able to put limits on international players, like the Australian league, you can only have two international 'imports' from out of country, and Euro leagues can only have three players from off the continent? So have a restriction on those with a country/continent option and a number value to it, like 0, 1, 2, 3 etc. etc.

Also, it would be good to be able to directly promote an assistant coach to head coach without sacking him first..

The thing about basketball the position of the player is just a guide for the casual observer of basketball. It's more important what role a player plays in the teams gameplan.

I've had teams where my best facilitators definitely was not my guards PG or SG it was my PF and SF. I ran an offense which relied on driving the ball inside to which at that point each we would score or we would pass the ball out to our SG and PG to shoot the three pointer.

So just use positions as a guide for yourself and what you want your player to be able to accomplish at that position. I doesnt really hurt them ratings wise because you could have a team where your PF is pretty much a SF who stays around the 3pt line it just mostly depends on your game plan.

But I am going to say defensively some players would be at an disadvangtage if they did not have the right amount of size or quickness to actually guard their opponent.

When you fixed the trade evaluation for for 3.19, any chance the trade difficulty settings were touched?

Was getting some very favorable trades approved, so I started moving the difficultly setting around and got the same response no matter if it was set on 1 or 5.

One trade involved draft picks, so I moved that setting up and down and the trades were again approved even though pretty lopsided in my favor.

Was getting some very favorable trades approved, so I started moving the difficultly setting around and got the same response no matter if it was set on 1 or 5.

Stuff like this sending me a save with examples is the best thing. The actual trade settings themselves weren't touched but the issue was something that could have affected you depending on how you tended to build trades. I'm certainly capable of messing something up while fixing the other issue as well that I didn't notice in my testing.

Running a historical league and at the end of the first month, there were two players named as both rookie of the month and player of the month. One of them was a rookie, the other was not. It appears to be an error in the news section but also, when checking the players' achievements pages, both have a player of the month award listed. Neither has the rookie award (not sure if those are tracked).
