Impact was obviously easier to predict this week than the PPV; but really that should be the case shouldn't it? If you didn't guess from the results of Impact; BG James has been signed by the WWE.. a couple of others have gone as well.. as well as most of my referees and backstage staff being signed off to Mexico and Japan (because my mod is a bit poop and doesnt have enough in those areas... fantastic)

As nobody has predicted 4 shows yet I won't put up the overall predictions table until next week.

The Second Anniversary of Total Nonstop Action is set to be an action-packed night with a highly anticipated main event. After sending BG James out of TNA on Impact last week; Jeff Jarrett gets his reward – a one-on-one match for the NWA World Championship against Ron Killings. In a handicap match on Friday, D’Lo Brown was unsuccessful in his efforts of revenge against Frankie Kazarian and Michael Shane – after winning by disqualification Brown will get a second chance at retribution as he gets to name his own partner on pay-per-view. The busy tag team title picture looks set to get much clearer as former Champions Kid Kash and Dallas face Triple X and The Naturals – with the winners earning a shot against America’s Most Wanted. Two rivalries also come to head, as Erik Watts finally gets his hands on Goldylocks’ monster Abyss; and in the battle of Jerry Lynn against Canada; the veteran gets a shot at Petey Williams. Plus, Monty Brown runs an X-Division gauntlet in order to prove he is the Alpha Male of TNA.

All this and more; only on pay-per-view this Wednesday night!

After the usual opening video we get highlights of the history of the rivalry between Ron Killings and Jeff Jarrett ahead of their NWA World Heavyweight Championship match later tonight.

The show begins with TNA Director of Authority Vince Russo in the ring with D’Lo Brown – Russo tells D’Lo that he must choose a partner tonight to face Frankie Kazarian and Michael Shane. D’Lo says that he made a mistake on Impact; he allows Frankie and Shane to have the opportunity to attack him – tonight that won’t happen as he has back up; the man who partnered D’Lo to win the NWA Tag Team Titles – the returning Apollo.

The opening contest sees D’Lo pick up where he left on Impact; taking the fight to Kazarian and Shane.
However, when the X-Division Champion and his partner took control Brown had the back-up that was missing on Friday – with Apollo proving a key addition to the team.
The noticeable size advantage eventually proved key as Michael Shane was grounded by D’Lo and Apollo; and after knocking Kazarian from the apron a Sky High from D’Lo gave him a measure of revenge.

After the match, D’Lo grabs a microphone and immediately challenges Kazarian to an X-Division Championship match. Kazarian and Shane are being helped to the back by Traci and Kazarian shakes his head and shouts that D’Lo must prove himself as an X-Division wrestler and not in a Tag match.

Ahead of the next match, Goldylocks heads to the ring with Abyss on a chain. Goldy reveals that two weeks ago she purchased the TNA Contract of Erik Watts but there was a condition to that purchase; if Watts loses to Abyss tonight Goldy can do what she likes with the contract – but if Watts wins he gains possession of his own future once again.

A fired up Erik Watts hits the ring and immediately takes control of the contest; with Abyss on the back foot for long periods during the early going.
The Monster found his way into the contest thanks to interference from Goldylocks; with Goldy providing timely distraction allowing Abyss to Chokeslam Watts – but Watts somehow manages to ease a shoulder up after two.
The battle continued until Watts hit the Lights Out on the Monster; with that Goldylocks leapt onto the apron and distracted the referee.
A young man slides into the ring and hits Watts with his own finishing move. Goldy and the young man exit the ring; allowing Abyss to capitalise and plant Watts with the Black Hole Slam for the win.
Winner: Abyss with the Black Hole Slam following interference at 10:18

Goldylocks introduces the young man as her newest client – Alex Shelley. Goldy then proceeds to takes Watts’ contract and tears it up; throwing the pieces over the fallen Watts and screaming that he is fired. Goldy and Shelley laugh to themselves before leading the Monster away from the ring.

“The Alpha Male” Monty Brown heads to the ring ahead of his X-Division gauntlet match; Brown says that the X-Division is just like the Serengeti; and Monty Brown is the Alpha Male – nobody will stop him tonight.

D-Ray hits the ring and comes out swinging; but despite landing a couple of shots – his offense is laughed off by the Alpha Male who hits the Pounce quickly and picks up the win.

Brown continues to control the pace of the match and looks to be playing with Sabin – but the cocky Alpha Male is caught completely off guard as Sabin slides behind and rolls Brown up for a three count.

Backstage, Scott D’Amore has a microphone and is berating Jerry Lynn – ahead of his match with Team Canada’s Petey Williams. D’Amore lays into Lynn, claiming that all of Canada and the rest of the world hate Jerry Lynn; the whole of Canada and the rest of the world are better than Jerry Lynn – and tonight, Petey Williams will prove this to be true.

Jerry Lynn looked to get his hands on Coach D’Amore during the early going – giving chase on the outside; but all he managed to do was give Williams the early advantage.
Despite this animosity from Lynn; D’Amore continued to get involved at every opportunity – either distracting Lynn or the referee to keep Williams one step ahead.
With D’Amore on the apron; Lynn took the opportunity to send him flying into the guardrail as he hit the ropes. This small victory did prove a distraction as Williams hooked Jerry up for the Canadian Destroyer – but a series of reversals end with Petey being planted with the Cradle Piledriver to give Lynn the victory and move him one step closer to a showdown with D’Amore.

Backstage, Scott Hudson is with Jeff Jarrett – Double J is looking forward to finally getting his one-on-one rematch for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship with Ron Killings. Jarrett claims that the only reason The Truth is the Champion is because of Jarrett; and Jeff thinks that he is now in the Champion’s head after forcing best friend BG James to quit TNA last week. Tonight, Jeff Jarrett realises his destiny and once again becomes the NWA Heavyweight Champion of the World.

The same video that aired on Impact aired again, hyping a new arrival in TNA; the video ends sees lots of flashing lights and ends with the words “2 Weeks; The Enigma; See U In The Future” on screen.

A clash between two former Champion teams and perhaps the hottest up and coming team in TNA for a shot at the gold, began with the expected chaos of a three way tag team contest
All three teams had spells of superiority but no man or team could stamp their mark on the contest.
The match came to its conclusion after Kash was dropping with the Natural Disaster by the Naturals; Stevens was then hit with a Big Boot from Dallas – but the big Texan was clotheslined by Douglas taking both men out of the ring. Daniels and Skipper took full advantage of this opening and took out Stevens with the Power-Plex to win the contest.
Winners: Triple X with the Power-Plex on Chase Stevens at 12:34

After the bell, the Tag Team Champions America’s Most Wanted make their way out onto the entrance way. The Champions applaud the efforts of the new number one contenders; with Harris and Storm confirming that next week will see AMW take on Triple X.

Backstage, Scott Hudson is with the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Ron Killings – the Truth is quick to point that Jeff Jarrett and his destiny mean nothing tonight as Killings will stand tall at the end of the night. Killings has faced tougher challenges to his NWA Championship over the last few weeks – so Jeff Jarrett will be no match for the Truth.

Our main event has a real big fight feel as the atmosphere within the Asylum is hot. Killings and Jarrett both look tentative early on, with neither man willing to risk much during the opening exchanges.
The Truth turns up the pace and takes control; landing a series of kicks and forearms that put the challenger on the back foot – with Killings gaining several near falls.
Jarrett heads to the outside to catch a breather and uses this to shoehorn his way back into the contest; sending Killings crashing into the ring post. Jarrett controls things on the outside; sending the Truth bouncing face first off of every surface he can find before sending things back into the ring.
Jarrett looks to close things out with the Stroke; but a back and forth series of reversals ends with both men being knocked down.
Both men get back to their feet – but the Stroke from Jarrett has the Champion down; but Killings is up at two and the pair continue to go at it.
The Suntan Superman drops Jarrett with an axe kick and heads up to the top rope – Killings launches a rare aerial assault as he looks for the 450 Splash; but Jarrett rolls out of the way sending Killings crashing into the mat.
Jarrett looks to capitalise and drags The Truth back to his feet and looks for the Stroke once again – but Killings slips behind, spins Jarrett around and drops him with the Truth or Consequences. Killings makes the cover; and retains the NWA World Heavyweight Championship to mark the two-year anniversary of TNA.

Red and Shelley have a good back and forth battle until Shelley plants his opponent with the same stolen finish of Erik Watts – dubbed the Shellshock – in order to gain the victory.

Despite the presence of Trinity at ringside, Swinger never really got out of first gear in this contest as Sabu came into the match with a point to prove.
After a brief fight back from Swinger; Sabu launched himself off the top rope to land his Arabian Facebuster to pick up the straight forward victory.

After the bell, Raven saunters down towards the ring. Raven is shocked that Sabu actually bothered to turn up tonight; he didn’t think that Sabu had the balls to be in the same building as Raven. Raven reminds Sabu that he sent him a message a few weeks ago when he beat Sonjay Dutt to within an inch of his existence; but he has yet to receive a response from Sabu. Raven then cuts the bullshit and demands that Sabu act like a man and face him in a Hangman’s Horror match on the pay-per-view this coming Wednesday – Sabu refuses.

In an effort to further prove themselves, Daniels and Skipper are given a further test as they face the first time pairing of Siaki and Apollo.
The new team perform well together and give the impression that they have been teaming for years as they look to control Skipper for large periods.
Ultimately though, it was the true experience edge of Triple X that shone through – with Sonny Siaki finally himself isolated and a Power-Plex was all that was needed to secure victory for the Number One Contenders.

Backstage, Dusty Rhodes is talking about the upcoming NWA World Tag Team Championship match between America’s Most Wanted and Triple X this Wednesday on pay-per-view. The American Dream believes that these two teams are the best teams in the two year history of TNA; and thinks that they both have the potential to be the best teams in the history of the NWA – Wednesday’s Title match should be a modern day classic.

After scoring pinfalls over two members of Team Canada in recent weeks, Lynn heads into this match on a wave of momentum.
It’s this momentum that allows Lynn to battle through the early barrage from his much bigger opponent – Bobby Roode. Roode’s size advantage; along with a little assistance from the persistent Scott D’Amore at ringside allows the big Canadian to go close on a number of occasions.
Eventually, Roode tired and this allowed the veteran Lynn to work his way back into the contest; Lynn ducked a big clothesline, landed a kick to the gut and quickly planted Roode with a Cradle Piledriver in order to pick up his three win in a row over Team Canada.
Winner: Jerry Lynn with the Cradle Piledriver at 8:50

After the bell, Coach D’Amore grabs a microphone and runs down Jerry Lynn – D’Amore claims that these victories mean nothing; he is still better than Jerry Lynn and Canada is still better than Jerry Lynn; this Wednesday on pay-per-view D’Amore is willing to prove it one-on-one.

TNA Director of Authority Vince Russo makes his way to the ring and he has an announcement about the X-Division Championship and more specifically Ultimate X 4. Russo calls out the current X-Division Champion Frankie Kazarian – who heads to the ring with Michael Shane and Traci Brooks. Russo tells Kazarian that he will defend the title in two weeks on pay-per-view; Kazarian is quick to demand that Shane is one of the challengers – so that Frankie can keep some sort of Champion’s advantage in a completely unfair contest. Russo disagrees; and calls out Chris Sabin – announcing that his victory in the six-way match put him at the top of the rankings. Sabin hits the ring and makes it known that he means business and that he wants his title back around his waist. Russo then announces that Michael Shane will get a chance; but he will face D’Lo Brown in an eliminator next week on pay-per-view – the winner will be the third men in Ultimate X 4. The four potential opponents trade insults in the ring until Monty Brown makes his presence felt. The Alpha Male clears the ring of everyone apart from Sabin – taking it upon himself to nail him with the Pounce instead. Brown is clearly unhappy with the X-Division and Chris Sabin and tells Russo that he gets revenge on Wednesday night – he is the Alpha Male and this ring is his Serengeti.

Impact was once again more predictable; but I feel the need to put more effort into putting the big matches on the PPV each week (bit of a no-brainer really)..

After booking a few more weeks in game (up to week 1 July) I've decided that I need to get out of weekly PPVs sharpish.. wont go into details but Id definitely expect the weekly PPVs to end pretty soon - probably in August (which is only a month earlier than reality).. then I'll be looking at running bi-monthly (or maybe 6 weekly) PPVs and not the monthly events as 4 hours of build wont be enough..

In beating two other teams in one match last week Triple X earned a shot at America’s Most Wanted and the NWA World Tag Team Championships. We will also find out who will be the third and final man to take part in Ultimate X 4 next week as D’Lo Brown and Michael Shane clash with the shot at the gold on the line. The other challenger at Ultimate X 4 has an altogether different challenge this week as he faces Monty Brown in a rematch from last week. Raven challenged Sabu to a Hangman’s Horror match on Impact; but Sabu refused to get into the ring with Raven – instead Sonjay Dutt has volunteered to take his place; with revenge on his mind. After battling Team Canada over recent weeks, Jerry Lynn finally gets his shot one-on-one with Scott D’Amore.

All this and more; only on pay-per-view this Wednesday night!

After the usual opening video we get a preview of tonight’s main event – the NWA World Tag Team Championship match where America’s Most Wanted defend their titles against Triple X.

We start in the ring with Jeff Jarrett and a microphone; Jarrett briefly talks about his disappointing defeat in last week’s main event. But while Jarrett has unfinished business with Ron Killings; he also has a personal issue that he would like to get off his chest. Jarrett tells how two weeks ago he caught the end of a rival pay-per-view broadcast and saw an old ‘friend’ being made out to be some sort of worldwide superstar. The man Jarrett is talking about is Ken Shamrock – who Jarrett claims has been dodging him for years and has resorted to fighting in a different sport in order to run away from Jeff Jarrett. Therefore, Jarrett is inviting Shamrock back to TNA to prove that he is a real man – he can’t prove that in an eight-sided cage; he can only prove it within a six-sided ring. Jarrett tells Shamrock that the invitation is open for as long as it takes for Kenny boy to find his manhood and answer the call.

At the sound of the bell D’Amore runs from the ring; Lynn gives chase but as the pair return to the ring the Canadian gets the advantage with a cheap shot to the back.
D’Amore puts the boots to Lynn, but they seem to have little effect as Jerry is quickly back to his feet and on the offensive.
For two or three minutes Lynn looks to dominate Coach D’Amore – but when he sets him up for the Piledriver; the whole of Team Canada hit the ring. A four-on-one assault on Lynn forces the referee to call for the bell – this doesn’t stop the attack though as Roode drops Lynn with the Northern Lariat.
Winner: Jerry Lynn by disqualification after interference from Team Canada at 3:59
Rating: 55

D’Amore calls off his men, before laying the Canadian flag over the prone body of Lynn – Coach D’Amore shouts at Lynn that Canada is superior and always will be.

Backstage, we see Goldylocks entering the office of TNA Director of Authority Vince Russo with Abyss and Alex Shelley alongside her. Goldy has a business proposition for Russo and hands him a briefcase stuffed with cash – which gives Russo a big smile. Goldy tells Russo that the cash is his; all he has to do in return is give Abyss a title shot against Ron Killings. Russo takes the cash but tells Goldy that Abyss will still have to earn his shot; as he will team with Shelley to take on The Truth and Konnan in tag action tonight – if Abyss wins, he gets his shot.

Hangman’s Horror Match

The ring is set up with four dog collar’s chained to the ropes around the ring; as the bell sounds Dutt goes on the offensive and knocks Raven out of the ring with a dropkick.
The pair battle on the floor outside, with the fight spilling over the announce table and briefly into the crowd before Raven gets full advantage following a nasty chair shot.
Raven rolls Dutt into the ring and sets up the chair; planting Sonjay with a Drop Toe Hold. This gave Raven his first opportunity to fasten a collar around Dutt’s neck – but the youngster battled back and briefly had Raven down following a Brainbuster.
Raven prevents Dutt from building on this momentum and has things wrapped up when he plants him with an Evenflow DDT. What happened next was academic as Dutt was easily fastened into a dog collar and then – with a big grin across his face – Raven launches Dutt over the top rope and hangs him by the chain.
Dutt struggles but he cannot force Raven to break his grip and soon passes out – with Raven declared the winner.
Winner: Raven by hanging Dutt over the top rope at 7:05

As Dutt is helped away from the ring by the medical team, Raven grabs a microphone – he launches a tirade at Sabu telling him that this beating here tonight was rightfully his. Raven tells Sabu that he isn’t a real man; and that he doesn’t care whether they were trained by the same man – The Original Sheik. Raven tells Sabu that the Sheik obviously taught him how to be the same level of a man that he was. Raven calls The Sheik a waste of oxygen, and tells Sabu that he is exactly the same unless he gets out to the ring and faces him like a man – once again there is no response from Sabu.

After the surprise roll-up last week, the Alpha Male seems to be taking Sabin seriously this week – and the pair have a pretty even exchange in the early going.
The faster Sabin looks to push the pace but Brown is having none of it and uses his immense power to take control. The Alpha Male puts a beating on Sabin and grounds the high flyer at every opportunity.
Sabin does manage a fight back but it comes to an abrupt end when The Alpha Male connects with the Pounce out of nowhere for the victory.
Winner: Monty Brown with the Pounce at 7:34

After the bell, Monty Brown continues the assault – he lifts Sabin up and plants him hard with a Powerbomb. The Alpha Male doesn’t stop there as he heads outside and introduces a table into the ring – he sets the table up in the corner and drags Sabin back to his feet. Brown sends Sabin into the ropes; rebounds and hits a huge Pounce that sends Sabin crashing through the table – security hits the ring and pulls Brown away to prevent any further damage.

Backstage, the NWA World Tag Team Champions America’s Most Wanted are talking about their title defence in tonight’s main event. Harris and Storm explain that they respect the abilities of Triple X and they agree with Dusty Rhodes’ when he said they were one of the best teams in TNA history – but AMW are the single, best team in TNA history and that won’t change tonight.

With a shot at the NWA World Title on the line, the Monster had a fire in his eyes as he took the fight to the final two members left standing of the 3 Live Kru. Shelley was relegated to a spectator on the apron as Abyss put a beating on his opponents.
Eventually the big man got tired and it allowed Killings and Konnan got back into the match. Shelley eventually got his chance to shine as he used his speed to get in some good offense on the NWA Champion.
But Konnan’s re-introduction to the match saw Shelley floored and it looked like Abyss’ title shot would be off the table quicker than it had appeared.
However, that wasn’t to be as Goldylocks provided the distraction that allowed Abyss to tag in and quickly dispatch K-Dawg with the Black Hole Slam for the victory.

After the bell, Konnan and Killings get into an argument about the outcome of the match – but before anything can develop between the pair Abyss hits the ring again and takes them both out. The Monster sends Konnan flying over the top rope before planting The Truth with the Black Hole Slam. Goldylocks grabs the NWA World Title from ringside and raises it high above her head as she celebrates with Abyss.

X-Division Contenders Match
D’Lo Brown [vs] Michael Shane (w/ Traci Brooks)

With the final slot in Ultimate X 4 on the line, both men looked to be in great form – giving everything from the outset.
The presence of Traci at ringside allowed Shane to get the advantage early on and he used his speed advantage to really hammer the advantage home – flying from the top rope on numerous occasions to gain several near falls.
But the veteran D’Lo has overcome bigger deficits than this in the past and battled back – proving that he too can score with high flying manoeuvres; with a diving clothesline getting Brown close to the victory.
The pair went back and forth with Shane launching himself from the top rope looking for a cross body block – but D’Lo catches Shane and quickly drops him with the Sky High.
Brown would usually make the cover; but he had a point to prove as he went to the top rope and connected with the Lo Down for the victory – proving that he could hang in the X-Division.
Winner: D’Lo Brown with the Lo Down at 15:31

After the match, D’Lo grabs a microphone – he tells Frankie Kazarian that he should enjoy his final week as the X-Division Champion as Ultimate X 4 is the place that D’Lo finally gets the ultimate revenge for his good friend AJ Styles. Brown is looking forward to showing that he was wrestling an X-Division style years before there was even an X-Division – and in 7 days he will be Champion.

The same video that aired on last week aired again, hyping a new arrival in TNA; the video ends sees lots of flashing lights and ends with the words “1 Weeks; The Enigma; See U In The Future” on screen.

Backstage, Triple X are talking about their upcoming NWA World Tag Team Championship match against America’s Most Wanted – Daniels said that Harris and Storm can respect the challengers all they want but it won’t stop Triple X putting a beating on the Champions and taking the gold. Skipper believes that once again Triple X will prove why they are the best tag team in TNA history when they become the four time NWA Tag Champions.

The hotly anticipated NWA Tag Team Championship match began with all hell breaking loose as all four men put everything on the line in a wild brawl.
The challengers took control, with Harris knocked from the ring – leaving Storm at the mercy of Triple X; with the Cowboy suffering a number of double team manoeuvres.
The referee finally regained control of proceedings; but it was still Triple X who had control of the match – gaining near fall after near fall on the Cowboy; who just couldn’t muster a counter.
Daniels and Skipper get cocky and begin taunting Harris on the apron; this lapse in concentration was the opening that Storm need as he made the hot tag to Harris; who dutifully cleaned house on the challengers.
Harris connects with an elbow to Daniels on the apron and sends him crashing into the guard rail – this left Skipper alone to suffer the Death Sentence from the Champions.
