WWE 2014: NXT Generation

Recommended Posts

June 2, 2013

On the first Raw of June, 2013, it was announced that the successors of Vince McMahon in Triple H and Stephanie McMahon would officially take reigns of the WWE. With it being no secret that Triple H has a very heavy hand in the developments at the NXT/WWE Performance Center training facility, Hunter promised many changes and new talent to debut in the coming months.

Currently in 2014, Elimination Chamber has just taken place and we're on the home stretch to the grandest stage of them all. Some of the veteran stars are on the decline and on their last legs with some hanging up the boots at the coming WrestleMania. Many new stars have made their debuts, some finding instant success, others having a hard time trying to make a name for themselves in the next era of WWE - an era being dubbed a second coming of the New Generation - the NXT Generation.

OOC Introduction

Yes, not much is said there. Just a short synopsis. Rickbuh and I have been playing a WWE game that started in June 2013, and we have just finished Elimination Chamber and are on the road to WrestleMania. He's booking Smackdown, I'm booking Raw, both of which are 3 hours, as well as a 1 hour Superstars.

We wanted to start a Dynasty, but we're both really into our WWE game and didn't want to start a new one, so we figured we might as well just use this one and catch everyone up on what storylines we've booked and how we got to where everything is at today.

We are, however, going to do something slightly different. We play TEW over remote PC control, so we're both looking at the same game with each other live and booking with each other. We're just a couple of idiots chatting about our storylines and what we're booking while probably making ridiculously corny jokes, so instead of typing out our dynasties and the shows, we're going to record us playing, commentate, then upload it to YouTube. We'll try to keep reach show relatively short, hopefully no more than 10 each.

I'm sure some will think we're stupid. Maybe some will get a kick out of us. Who knows. We usually play at least Raw/Smackdown/Superstars in one sitting (sometimes 1 more week of the 3 shows) and chatting about it the whole time we do it, so we'll just cut each "Episode" that we're booking down to a video of us showing the final booked show and simming the results with us either trying to be funny or being super lame. Probably have an outtakes section at the end of random clips of us doing stupid stuff while we were actually booking the show.

If people watch and enjoy, high five to you. If not, we'll be very sad and may harm ourselves, though not likely.

With that said, hopefully people will be interested in seeing our first prelude video that will be up within the next couple of days where we try to quickly run down our roster and what has happened in the last 8 months with our roster.

Intro + Storylines

This'll by far be the longest video we have. We wanted to run down all the storylines that have been going on the last 8 months, and it took a little longer than expected... much longer, haha.

(I recommend turning it to 1080P or at least 720 to make the text legible.

Following that, our episodes will be much shorter. They will just be "Episode 1: Raw", and will be us running down what we booked and what happens in each segment, so they'll be short episodes hopefully no longer than 10 minutes each.

That said, enjoy. Or don't. :(

WWE RAW

OOC: First episode out of the way. I hope it was entertaining. It ran 5 minutes longer than I would have liked it, so they're a work in progress. Got to work on the timing of segments a bit, so we'll make sure to explain more quickly in the future to get closer to a 10 min max mark.

That said, enjoy. It's a demand, not a request.

Cool stuff, quality entertainment haha.

"He's got a shirt under his sleeve"

Question, what exactly happened with Seth Rollins thus far? I don't feel like going through to find it in the hour long thing again <_<

Also, I think it'll naturally get shorter once you stop having to explain previous storylines and stuff. 15 minutes isn't too bad anyway, it was a good listen.

Quick Rundown on Seth:

Dean Ambrose has been with Paige and she's been the voice in his ear and reason he's been growing more and more unstable and psychotic. It led to Dean Ambrose continually assaulting Little Jimmy (Jimmy Jacobs who debuted as Little Jimmy with R-Truth), until eventually Seth Rollins felt bad for Jimmy, who was his tag partner on the indy scene, and stepped in to help Dean.

Seth Rollins turned face on Dean, had a match against Dean and the Shield at Survivor Series (Dean, Paige, Roman, Sami Callihan and Adrianne Neville. Sami and Adrianne were Seth's "replacements" vs. Seth/Cena/Tyson Kidd/Justin Gabriel/Jimmy). Cena and Seth were the last two standing. Seth had a match against Dean at TLC in a TLC match since they debuted last year in a TLC match, felt it was fitting. Seth also won that.

Seth went on to win the Royal Rumble, and now he's feuding with CM Punk on the Road to WrestleMania.

You're also probably right about episodes naturally cutting themselves down once we stop having to explain previous storylines.

Thanks for listening! If anyone else ever has any questions on people they want answered, feel free to answer them. I completely understand not everyone is going to want to watch that 60 minute recap.

OOC: Here's the second episode booked by me. Hope it is entertaining. We are slowly closer to the 10 min mark we set for ourselves. Enjoy!

Also, here is our Superstars as well. Not much happens on Superstars usually, so we feel it doesn't need a video and we will just post it with Smackdown.

Most of the pictures are just the profile pictures off the wwe.com website bios pages. They're pretty easy to get HD versions of.

Just go to a wrestlers profile, right click on the image and click "copy image location". You'll get a link similar to: wwe.com/f/styles/superstar_profile/public/talent/profile/2013/01/deanambrose_1_full_20130121.png

Just remove the:

styles/superstar_profile/public/

That section of the link and it'll have an HD version.

Example: wwe.com/f/talent/profile/2013/01/deanambrose_1_full_20130121.png

Works for a lot of pictures on their website, including the photos section from their events.

As for the rest of the pictures:

http://imageshack.us/a/img94/1962/i7jj.jpg

And just cause if anyone could use them for anything, the WM30 logo was kinda of custom-ish. I just took the current WM30 logo, separated the layers and rendered it back out 3D. Anyone can feel free to use them. May as well since they exist.
