Thanks for the predictions so far guys. I've actually had some free time these past couple of days and so the PPV is already about halfway done and should be up at the very latest by the weekend, possibly even by tomorrow. If you've got any interest in getting in on the contest this month, it would be a good time to comment as soon as possible, I don't want to leave anyone out to dry :)

He perhaps over-pursued Bryan, who ducked a couple of grab attempts with stiff kicks to the big quadriceps and knees of Reigns. Using a ‘stick-and-move’ approach, Lloyd was able to get a little bit of momentum going. He ran at Reigns in the corner and Luther catapulted him up to the top rope, where Bryan backflipped over him! He bounced off the ropes, ducking a big boot, and came off the other side with a running elbow clothesline! Lloyd went for a quick cover with the fans roaring – 1, 2, no!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">Straight out of the pin attempt, Bryan went for the Cattle Mutilation, but Reigns was able to power out before he could lock the hold in. Lloyd slithered away from his grasp once again and bounced off the ropes, but was caught with a Powerslam, which prompted a sadistic grin across the face of Luther Reigns. It only garnered a two count. From here, Reigns took over with power moves and holds, not letting Bryan out of his grasp for a couple of minutes. As he went for his finishing maneuver, the Reign of Terror, Bryan spun through it and wriggled out, using his legs to roll up Reigns’ arms as he rolled backwards, ending in a pin which shocked Reigns for a quick three count! Reigns blew a gasket as Lloyd slid out under the ring with a sneaky and surprising victory for the second time!</span></div></div> </div><div style="margin-bottom: 10px; position: relative; margin-top: 10px;" align="right"><div style="float:right;"><img style="float: right;" src="

The bell rang as Dupree placed his crown, scepter, and robe in the corner. Predictably, Dupree did what he’s done all throughout his feud with Booker as he avoided him in the early going. As the two went to lock up, Dupree rolled through and taunted Booker with the French Tickler. Booker ran at him and Dupree ducked, sending him into the corner and landing some fast and furious strikes. He went for a headlock, but Booker sent him into the ropes and attempted a back body drop. Dupree stopped and kicked him in the chest before looking for a small package that was kicked out of. Dupree started to take the fight to Booker, but the superior brawler was able to hit back with hard chops. Booker lined up chops to Dupree’s chest and knocked him around the ring for a few minutes with hard chops.</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">The King of the Ring looked tentative at times, in there against a fired-up Booker T, but with an eye rake, he was able to take over. Continuously, he tried to get Booker counted out by throwing him to the outside of the ring. Booker countered one of these to throw Dupree outside the ring, but Rene took this as his leave. He tried to walk up the ramp, but Booker slid out and followed him! After an Irish Whip into the barricade and a bodyslam onto the steel ramp, Booker rolled “The French Phenom” into the ring, but Dupree kicked out. Moments later, Dupree pulled the referee in front of an attack by Booker, knocking him out! This led to an all-out scrum where Booker had Dupree down after a Book End! He went to revive the referee, but turned around into a shot with the scepter, which splintered it into pieces! The referee rolled around to count a slow three count for a Rene Dupree victory!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">Or is it? As Charles Robinson comes to, he realizes that there are shards of Dupree’s scepter all over the ring and Booker T is still out cold. As he figures out what happened, he tells ring announcer Tony Chimel to declare that the winner by disqualification is Booker T! Dupree is incredibly angry and threatens Robinson before walking out in a rage.</span></div></div> </div><div style="position:relative;"><img style="float:left;" src="

These two former WCW superstars put on an opening chain wrestling contest reminiscent of the classic cruiserweight bouts. Storm looked to reduce this one to a simple mat wrestling affair, but Kidman (and Rey Mysterio) were able to keep the pace up. With quick tags and double team maneuvers, Storm and Haas ruled the early going. Kidman was eventually isolated and Charlie Haas locked him in an elevated surfboard maneuver. Seeing his partner in trouble, Mysterio ran past the referee and was able to break up the hold, but as the referee tried to remove him from the ring, Lance Storm was able to land a few cheap shots from the outside, choking Kidman with his boot.</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">By the time the referee turned around, Haas was firmly in control of his opponent. Kidman began to fight back and he sparked a bit of momentum. Charlie was dropkicked through the ropes to the outside, and Lance Storm came out to talk things over. Taking their eyes off the opponent, they were surprised when both Kidman and Mysterio came flying over the top rope onto them! Mysterio was now the legal man and he turned the match up a notch. Haas was able to duck a 6-1-9 attempt and lunge for a tag to Storm, who fared no better. Although he was able to ground Mysterio and looked for a Boston crab, Mysterio used his leg strength to pull him and catch his head on the second rope for the 6-1-9! He made a quick tag to Billy Kidman and knocked Haas off the apron, allowing Kidman to hit the Shooting Star Press for the win! After being assaulted by Steiner twice in the past month, Edge looked to gain some revenge here. The two locked up and jockeyed for position, with adrenaline fueling Edge to plow Steiner right back into the corner. Edge landed some hard shots to the ribs and stomach of Steiner. Throughout a lot of this contest, Edge used his longer limbs to control Steiner, but Steiner was able to get him off balance in a headlock and hit a Northern Lights Suplex to take control. Steiner went to work on the back and neck of Edge just as he has in the past, and this seemed to take a toll on the Canadian superstar as the match wore on.</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">Even when Edge would fight back, his neck was clearly bothering him. He frustrated Steiner by continuing to fight back and after quite a few near falls, “Big Poppa Pump” had had enough. He went to the outside of the ring to get a chair and slid it in the ring. After a Powerslam to Edge, he placed his head inside the chair with his neck in place to be crushed! Steiner got up on the second rope despite the protests of the referee and went for a stomp to possibly end Edge’s career, but Edge rolled out of the way and got the chair off of his head, tossing it back outside! Steiner landed awkwardly on his knee and ankle and Edge hit a chop block to his lower body! The adrenaline rush kicked in for Edge and he hit a spinning heel kick followed by the Edgecution! Steiner, however kicked out after two!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">Edge grabbed his hair and pulled it as he thought he had a three count. He stood in the corner and crouched, waiting for Steiner to pull himself to his feet like a predator stalking his prey. He went for the Spear, but Steiner threw him shoulder/neck first into the steel ring post! Scott capitalized and was able to put Edge on his shoulders and squat him all the way up to the top rope! As he looked for a Samoan Drop, Edge was able to wriggle out and roll down his back, landing on his feet and turning it into a Powerbomb! Edge made the cover – 1, 2, 3! When the two squared off, Muhammad started it with a slap across the face of the Sarge! The WWE Hall-of-Famer was ticked off by this, igniting a flurry against the upstart young superstar. He was able to gain control for a minute or so, hitting a snapmare before giving the 22-year-old a noogie! This delighted the fans as Slaughter continued his assault and even went to lock in the Cobra Clutch, but played to the crowd a bit too much and Hassan wriggled out with a couple of hard elbows to the head. A belly to back suplex and a backbreaker paved the way for the finishing combination – a reverse STO followed by the Camel Clutch – and another victory for Muhammad Hassan.</span></div></div> </div><div style="margin-bottom: 10px; position: relative; margin-top: 0px;" align="right"><div style="float:right;"><img style="float: right;" src="

Cena took a look around him as the match began, and Bradshaw struck. Sable sat near ringside with the United States Title on her lap and watched the festivities. Cena fended off much of the early attacks by JBL, even lifting him up for an early F-U, but JBL escaped unscathed by landing a couple of elbows to his head. He slid to the outside and instead of attacking him, Orlando Jordan simply talked strategy with him. Cena rolled his eyes and hit a baseball slide to JBL, sending him back into the barricade! Orlando Jordan got up on the apron, but referee Tim White told him to get down. Jordan agreed as Cena sent him a ‘You Can’t See Me’ hand sign from inside the ring.</span></div></div> </div><div style="position: relative; margin-top: 0px;"><img style="float:left;" src="

He got up to do the ‘Longhorn’ signal and continued to put the boots to the challenger. He threw him outside the ring and the vultures swarmed him. Jordan, Porter, and Burke put the boots to John and threw him into the steel ring steps as Ron Simmons looked on from around the corner. When he threw him over toward Ron Simmons, his former partner didn’t attack the challenger. Instead, he lifted Cena up and guided him back to the ring, rolling him inside. This drew the ire of both JBL and the Chosen Ones, who verbally berated Simmons. This momentary distraction allowed John Cena to catch his breath, fight back and take control. He hit a bulldog on JBL, followed by an elbow drop. Cena picked him up and whipped him into the ropes, hitting a hip toss for a two count. After a spin-out Powerbomb, Cena bounced off the ropes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but his foot was grabbed by Elijah Burke! The referee warned Burke as he was not supposed to become involved with the in-ring action, and Cena started jawing with him. John went outside the ring and fought with Burke! Angle tried it again, but then got around behind the big man, who ran him backwards into the corner. Big Show landed some hip thrusts into the corner, knocking the wind out of Kurt and then he bodyslammed him into the ground. Big Show picked him up and Angle broke the grapple, chopping him in the chest. Angle landed a couple of more chops and was actually able to take Big Show to the ground. He went to lock in the Ankle Lock, but Big Show launched him across the ring with his monstrous legs.</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">Angle, like a rabid dog, went right back to the legs of Big Show. He removed the kneepad of Big Show while he went to work twisting and increasing the torque using knee bars and straight strikes to the knee. He even slammed his knee repeatedly into the ring post from the outside. Big Show was howling in pain as Angle locked in a single-leg Boston crab. Big Show was nearly forced to submit to the mat wrestling specialist, but was able to drag him to the ropes! Angle showed a grin as he stalked Big Show, waiting for him to stand up for the Angle Slam. It took Big Show what seemed like an eternity to drag his 500 pound frame to his feet, and as Angle rushed him, Big Show nailed him with a kick to the chest!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #4682b4;">Big Show was back on one knee as he caught his breath. He made the cover on Angle, but he kicked out! Big Show picked him up to his feet and shoved him into the corner, where he landed a series of loud chops to Kurt’s chest, sending him writhing around the canvas in pain. After Big Show controlled the match for a bit, perhaps he became a bit cocky. He hit a press slam and instead of covering, he raised one giant hand in the air. As he did this, Kurt was able to recover and bum rush him, ducking a big boot attempt and getting a chop block to the injured knee! He immediately transitioned this into the Ankle Lock! Big Show was screaming wildly and scratching for the ropes, but Angle was able to focus his leg strength to pull him back and drop into a grapevine around the bad knee of the Big Show! With the added pressure and dead weight, Big Show had no choice but to tap out!</span></div></div> </div><div style="position:relative;"><img style="float:left;" src="

Lesnar was too powerful though, and he landed a knee lift to stop Eddie from taking the back. He hit a couple of knee lifts and whipped Eddie into the corner, but Eddie jumped over him and went for a quick roll up. Heyman took his time in getting down to count, and Brock was able to kick out. Eddie, after being hit with a German Suplex, used Brock’s boot and kneepads to try and climb up to him, but Lesnar continued to pound his back. He ended up tossing him out of the ring toward Reigns. Heyman made an exaggerated motion to look the other way as the ‘special enforcer’ put the boots to the champion! He stood Guerrero up and Eddie climbed up to the apron. He covered and Lesnar shoved him off after a second. Guerrero hit a couple of his signature moves, but even after the Three Amigos, Heyman acted as if his wrist hurt, not counting for the champion. Reigns helped him up and shared some words with him, but Eddie launched himself over the top rope with a plancha to the floor! He was fired up after knocking both men to the floor, shimmying and playing to the crowd! A couple of minutes later, however, Eddie found himself back in the ring after Reigns caught him with a big boot. Beat the Clock Challenge

Chris Jericho vs. Tyson Rude w/Trish Stratus

Comment: Can't see Jericho walking into a loss here.

Non-Title Match

Lita w/Mickie James vs. Jazz

Comment: If Victoria is out of the way, I could see Jazz being a real thorn in the BFF's sides.

The Hurricane and Rosey vs. Johnny Stamboli and Rico

Comment: Sad :(

Beat the Clock Challenge

Tajiri vs. Johnny Nitro w/Melina

Comment: Poor Tajiri. He could really use a move back to SD, because he's gotten incredibly jobbed as of late.

Chris Benoit and Ric Flair vs. The Aristocracy

Comment: No chance.

Six-Man Tag Match

Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam, and Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian, Kane, and Randy Orton

Comment: I went with the heels because one side has RVD on it.

Comments on Previous Show: No Mercy was off tha hook, Cole!

Couldn't believe you got Rhino back! Hope this leads to a huge push for him! Did the goal that kept you from keeping him run out or something?

My guess is JBL will turn around and Jericho the belt back, thanks to Ron's interference.

Can't say that I saw the Filthy Animals title win coming at all! They seemed like they'd have been another great "established" team for Lance and Haas to defeat to really cement themselves; but I guess I was wrong :p

Comment: Hard pick, I like all of these guys. I went with the Spot Monkey-ier guys though, as thats my favorite wrestling style. :p

Comments on Previous Show: I think that may have been the best I've ever done on a prediction (especially with so many points up for grabs). Got everything right except for Cena/JBL (thinking Cena wouldn't win the US Title at No Mercy), and in turn, the amount of title changes, as well as the MOTN and will there be turns/who takes the fall. But with all those points, and getting every other one.. Wow. :D

Anything can happen on SmackDown, Cole!!

Yeah Rhyno was 1 point below the threshold in Basics that Vince wanted, and by the time October rolled around he had gained 2, so I was able to re-sign him around the time he was interested in coming back to WWE. When you had the prediction prize of the Heyman special referee stipulation I knew that was how I was going to bring him back. I think Rhyno was super under-utilized in WWE and I like having a resident badass face character so I'm hoping I can give him a nice push. The fact that his gimmick rated a 100 in his return is a great sign.

Beat the Clock Challenge

Tajiri vs. Johnny Nitro w/Melina

Comment: Poor Tajiri. He could really use a move back to SD, because he's gotten incredibly jobbed as of late.

Bleh. I feel bad about what I've done to him. Jeff Hardy too. There's just so many names on both rosters (as you can tell by how many matches I just had at No Mercy that had lackluster buildup and I didn't even use Undertaker) and I'm not quite sure what to do with some guys right now. Sadly, Tajiri's one of those lost in the shuffle at the moment.

Six-Man Tag Match

Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam, and Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian, Kane, and Randy Orton

Comment: I went with the heels because one side has RVD on it.

Another guy that fits above. I tried to make him special for the sake of being special early on in the diary and his match quality just wasn't up to where I had hoped. I really want to give him a solid push though, I just sort of got caught up as to where he was in real life after his quick hotshot Rumble win and Mania title match.

Yeah that was a great showing, let's see if you can maintain that lead now for the rest of the month :)

WWE Monday Night RAW: Week 2, October 2004

http://i.imgur.com/3HPbZ94.jpg

WWE RAW
Monday, Week 2, October 2004

After the opening video, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcome us to Monday Night RAW on Spike TV! With their rundown of the matches, they highlight the Beat the Clock stipulation between
Chris Jericho
and
Johnny Nitro
where the winner decides their Taboo Tuesday stipulations! Additionally, we've got a huge six-man tag main event where
Kane, Christian, and Randy Orton
will have to co-exist against
Shelton Benjamin, Rob Van Dam, and Jeff Hardy
!

RATING:
84 (B+)

Notes
: None.

"Line in the Sand" interrupts the commentary team as
Evolution
makes their way down to the ring. None of the three men seem in a particularly amicable mood as they enter the ring and Triple H grabs a microphone. He questions the character of the RAW roster, specifically guys like Chris Benoit and The Dudleyz, saying that 2 months ago they were laying beatdowns on Ric Flair and trying to end the old man's career, and now they're by his side getting in Evolution's business. When you stick your nose in Evolution's business, you get run over.

The speech is interrupted by
Ric Flair
! "The Nature Boy" comes down to the ring, microphone in hand, and the four members of Evolution stand in the ring together. Flair makes some incendiary comments towards Triple H, talking about how his 'nose' is always in everyone's business, so maybe it's his turn to get run over! Flair goes on a tirade, talking about how Orton has no chance of being voted #1 contender because he's an arrogant, holier-than-thou daddy's boy and that Batista's held gold for the last time because "The Nature Boy" carried their tag team! Guys like Benoit and the Dudley Boyz back Flair up because they don't want the three-ring circus that comes along with Triple H trying to run the show!

As Evolution gets more and more agitated, they begin to close in on Flair, who puts his fists up for a fight. Right before the inevitable attack, "No Chance in Hell" hits and
Vince McMahon
comes out to the top of the ramp! He welcomes the crowd to the show tonight before addressing the men in the ring. He says that they could fight it out right now and have it be done with, but Vince has a better idea. Next week at Taboo Tuesday, it's going to be Triple H and Batista in a co-main event tag team match with Ric Flair...and Chris Benoit!

The fans cheer as McMahon walks out, going wild for this matchup in eight days at the PPV!

RATING:
100 (A*)

Notes
: HHH + Flair + Vince = ratings, it seems. Great segment.

Beat the Clock Challenge

Chris Jericho
vs.
Tyson Rude w/Trish Stratus

The commentators played up the history between these two throughout the match, talking about Jericho's role in Rude's debut and, of course, Jericho's past relationship with Trish. The tough Canadian Rude took it to the Intercontinental Champion for a great portion of the match, but Jericho garnered a nice pop as he rolled his opponent up and put his feet on the ropes at 7:49 for the win!

RATING:
80 (B)

Notes
: 7:49 is the time to beat for Nitro. Jericho and Tyson put on a really good opener here, tied for MOTN.

Outside of
Vince McMahon's
office,
The Dudley Boyz
knock on the door. The Chairman lets them in and they express how they had hoped to get Batista and Triple H at Taboo Tuesday, but McMahon has a better idea. He says he knows the former Tag Champions want to get their hands on Evolution, so he'll let them have a chance at it. He says that at Taboo Tuesday, the Dudley Boyz will be in tag team action against the two men not voted into the World Heavyweight Title match. This means that there
is
a chance that the Dudleyz could take on Randy Orton at Taboo Tuesday. This seems to satisfy the competitive urges of the two brothers from Dudleyville.

RATING:
82 (B)

Notes
: None.

Elsewhere backstage, Todd Grisham is with
La Resistance
, the World Tag Team Champions. He asks them about their friction with their three potential opponents at Taboo Tuesday and how they're going to prepare for three phenomenal athletes.

La Resistance downplays the abilities of their three opponents, saying how there's a reason they're the World
Tag Team
Champions. They are the best team in the business trained in the best wrestling country in the world (Canada) and they're going to defeat whichever ragtag team is voted by these fat, dumb Americans to face them at Taboo Tuesday.

RATING:
66 (C+)

Notes
: Pretty good promo, these guys are definitely improving.

Lita w/Mickie James
vs.
Jazz

The champion took on a former champion as these two ladies clashed. Mickie's pesky actions from the outside angered Jazz, who grabbed her by the hair at one point, but Lita used this opportunity to hit the Twist of Fate for the win!

RATING:
58 (C-)

Notes
: None.

After a commercial, a quick video recaps the
Flair/Benoit vs. HHH/Batista
announcement from earlier tonight.

The fans pop for the World Heavyweight Champion
Shawn Michaels
walking down the hallway with a goofy grin on his face. He happens to come across
Triple H
, looking unenthused by him. Shawn jokes around with him a little bit, saying he looks like he's gained some weight and lost some hair since the last time they talked. Although his waist does
look
a little lighter. Triple H is in no mood for this as he just scoffs and continues to walk down the hallway. Michaels turns to the camera and asks what
his
problem is.

RATING:
72 (B-) / 77 (B)

Notes
: None.

The Hurricane and Rosey
vs.
Johnny Stamboli and Rico

Decent action took place in this tag match, with The Hurricane and Rosey getting the win following a Super Splash by Rosey to Rico.

After the match, Stamboli shouted at his downed partner. Obviously upset with their continued lack of success, Johnny snapped and powerslammed Rico into the ground before walking out!

RATING:
60 © / 36 (D-)

Notes
: Good riddance to that tag team.

____________________________________________

In the back,
Shelton Benjamin, Rob Van Dam, and Jeff Hardy
are going over strategy. They say that this is the perfect chance to get some team chemistry going as they prepare to face La Resistance at Taboo Tuesday with these potential partners. They're ready for their six-man tag match tonight!

RATING:
66 (C+)

Notes
: I legitimately feel that any of the three possible teams made out of these guys would be cool.

____________________________________________

Mickie James
is with
Lita
in the back, but Lita's leaving the building after her match. She hugs Mickie and gets in her car to drive away. As Mickie walks away, out of the shadows comes
Victoria
, who nearly scares her to death. Mickie calls for Lita, but Victoria says she isn't there to hurt her. If she was going to hurt Mickie, Victoria says she would have done it while she had her tied up a few weeks ago. She just wants Mickie to hear her out; Victoria says that even if Lita heard her, she wouldn't come back. Mickie just doesn't get it. Lita doesn't
care
about her. Lita is using Mickie to keep the Women's Title. She sat up on her high horse when Mickie got involved at Unforgiven and said she didn't like what she did, but Lita
loved
it because she kept her Women's Title. She wanted to make Mickie feel bad so she'd keep helping Lita out to gain her approval. Victoria hints that Mickie James should take a stand before walking off.

RATING:
58 (C-)

Notes
: None.

Beat the Clock Challenge

Tajiri
vs.
Johnny Nitro w/Melina

The time to beat here was 7:49, and Nitro had a lot of trouble with Tajiri from the start. The pesky "Japanese Buzzsaw" gave him all he could handle. At about the six minute mark, he locked the Tarantula on Nitro! Sensing the pressure, Melina got up on the ropes to try and catch Tajiri's attention and it succeeded for a brief moment. With the referee reprimanding her, Tajiri turned around into a low blow and a corkscrew neckbreaker from "The Hollywood Hotshot," who made the cover to win the challenge at 7:43!

After the match, Johnny was able to catch his breath as Melina got into the ring to celebrate. Nitro got a microphone to deliver a message to Chris Jericho. He tells the Intercontinental Champion that he knows the three stipulations: a Submission match so that he could beat Y2J at his own game; a Falls Count Anywhere match because Johnny Nitro can beat Chris Jericho anytime, anywhere; and a Ladder match because he's going to pass the Intercontinental Champion on his way up the WWE ladder!

RATING:
75 (B-) / 92 (A)

Notes
: Wow, an A-rated promo out of Johnny Nitro. Jericho being involved definitely helped.

____________________________________________

After a commercial break, we've got more Taboo Tuesday information announced! JR and "The King" let us know that Mr. McMahon has released the stipulations for the tag match involving
Ric Flair and Chris Benoit
taking on
Triple H and Batista
! These stipulations are a
Street Fight, Steel Cage,
or
2/3 Falls
!

http://i.imgur.com/eosSUO6.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/qOUB3EH.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/sv4Vqlt.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/t1zNf7z.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/XlPJR0J.jpg

Chris Benoit and Ric Flair
vs.
The Aristocracy

Try as they might, even to cheat, The Aristocracy didn't really stand a chance. Flair and Benoit were totally locked in here, and Damien tapped out to the Figure Four Leglock!

After the match, Flair grabs a microphone as he and Benoit talk about the stipulations. While Flair rants about how he knows Evolution better than they know themselves and that they are crumbling before Flair's very eyes, Benoit's speech is much simpler. He says that if the fans vote 2 out of 3 falls, they'll beat them twice. If they vote a Street Fight, they'll take the fight to the streets. If they vote a Steel Cage, then there's nowhere to run. The stipulation doesn't matter; Benoit is going to make someone tap out next Tuesday!

RATING:
74 (B-) / 92 (A)

Notes
: Here's to hoping Damien learned a thing or two being in the ring with three bona fide masters.

____________________________________________

Backstage,
Randy Orton
and
Christian
are backstage in the locker room talking about their match. Both guys make thinly veiled comments toward one another implying that they're going to be voted to face Shawn Michaels. As the bickering continues,
Kane
walks into the frame looking angry. He feels slighted that either of them think they deserve a title shot because Kane was
robbed
of the belt by Randy Orton. Stay out of his way.

Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam, and Shelton Benjamin
vs.
Christian, Kane, and Randy Orton

This six-man tag action featured day-and-night differences between the two teams. Hardy, RVD, and Shelton worked very well as their similar styles that complemented one another. On the other hand, the three contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship couldn't seem to get on the same page as they stumbled through the match with blind tags and a lack of communication. Christian found himself crawling to the corner with his arm extended, but neither Kane nor Orton accepted the tag as Shelton pulled Christian back to his corner. The match ended when everything broke down. Christian found himself reeling after a triple team maneuver that landed him outside the ring. The legal man, "Captain Charisma" grabbed his Money in the Bank briefcase and retreated, getting himself and his team counted out!

After the bell rings, Kane and Randy Orton stand in the ring screaming at Christian as they've all lost the match. With Christian not even looking back at them, the two are disgusted. After a brief pause, Orton turns "The Big Red Machine" around by his shoulder and lands a thunderous RKO! The show ends with the crowd giving him a mixture of loud cheers and boos as he poses over Kane!

RATING:
80 (B) / 99 (A*)

Notes
: Pretty good match, I think it did a decent job of furthering both storylines.
