Confirmed Match Preview

Lita and Mickie James vs. Victoria and Trish Stratus w/Tyson Rude

Comment: Mickie goes nuts here and costs her team the match.

Val Venis w/Goldust and Stacy Keibler vs. Rico

Comment: Pretty obvious.

Non-Title Match

Shawn Michaels vs. Tyson Rude w/Trish Stratus

Comment: Christian attacks the champion for the DQ and tries to Cash-In, but Kane interrupts him.

Test and Billy Gunn vs. The Aristocracy

Comment: A feud between these two teams would be pretty interesting.

Six-Man Tag Match

Chris Jericho and The Dudley Boyz vs. Johnny Nitro and La Resistance w/Melina

Comment: Nitro does what he has to and gets the win.

Chris Benoit vs. Christian

Comment: I think that Evolution will cost Benoit the match too.

Comments on Previous Show: I was pretty bad at the predictions, but yeah, Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero should be a great match, and Danielson keeps getting higher on the pecking order.

WWE RAW
Monday, Week 3, October 2004

Upon conclusion of the opening highlight video, fireworks blast through the arena as the commentary team of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomes us to the show!

They let us know that right here tonight, Good Ol' JR himself will host a panel including all three men eligible for the main event vote tomorrow night at Taboo Tuesday -
Christian
,
Kane
, and
Randy Orton
- as well as the World Heavyweight Champion
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels
!

RATING:
77 (B) / 83 (B+)

Notes
: None.

Lita and Mickie James
vs.
Victoria and Trish Stratus

Divas tag action kicked off the night, and these four women proved their worth in this one. Mickie hung right with the three veterans in the match. However, she eventually found herself on the losing end when Trish blasted her with the Chick Kick as Lita and Victoria were tangled up on the outside.

RATING:
67 (C+)

Notes
: Trish hasn't wrestled nearly enough as of late.

The Dudley Boyz
are in the back being interviewed by Todd Grisham. As they start to discuss the possibilities of who they may get into the ring with at Taboo Tuesday,
Kane
enters the frame to send them a warning. He says that if he's robbed of his opportunity to finally end the career of Shawn Michaels...he's going to be very,
very
angry. The Dudleyz tell him straight up - bring it on! Kane gives a wry smile as he walks off the screen.

RATING:
80 (B)

Notes
: None.

Val Venis w/Goldust and Stacy Keibler
vs.
Rico

"The Big Valbowski" spent a good deal of his match admiring his valet Stacy while he and Rico went at it. The match was interrupted by the arrival of two men:

http://i.imgur.com/dSpjvXT.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/87c1sbi.jpg

The large, imposing
Sean O'Haire
along with a new-look
Johnny Stamboli
hit the ring and simply lay waste to both Rico and Val Venis! The match is thrown out by the referee and as Goldust gets involved, he gets rocked by a roundhouse kick from O'Haire! Stamboli hits a military press powerslam to his former tag team partner Rico as the two men stand tall in their attack.

RATING:
44 (D) / 40 (D-)

Notes
: Hoping these ratings will get better, but the undercard of the tag division should get some time to shine.

Backstage, Todd Grisham is with
Tyson Rude and Trish Stratus
. He asks what Tyson's thoughts are heading into his match against Shawn Michaels. Trish talks for him, letting Todd know that Tyson is going to solve Christian's "HBK" problem here tonight. It's gonna be a little more personal too, because we all know how Shawn Michaels feels about Canadians. Trish is confident that she, Tyson,
and
Christian are all going to win tonight, and Rude lets Michaels know his days as champion are numbered.

Shawn Michaels
vs.
Tyson Rude w/Trish Stratus

Tyson Rude may be a new member of the WWE roster, but he clearly knew what he was doing inside that ring. The more powerful "Problem Solver" went right after the back of the champion, obviously understanding his previous medical conditions. However, just like his revitalized career has shown to this point, Shawn Michaels never quits. Although Rude put on a great effort, Michaels was able to duck the Northern Lariat and land Sweet Chin Music for the win!

RATING:
77 (B) / 80 (B)

Notes
: Tyson's pretty good, but Michaels is the best on the roster right now.

____________________________________________

In the back,
Lita
is walking, and she knocks on the locker room door of
Mickie James
. The Women's Champion sighs as she apologizes to Mickie for their loss in the tag match earlier. Mickie shakes it off and accepts her apology, but it's a very lukewarm, non-enthusiastic acceptance. Lita asks if Mickie's okay, and her 'biggest fan' denies any ill feelings toward here. Lita hugs her and Mickie returns it, but never really makes eye contact with the champion before the segment ends, instead looking at her feet for almost the entire time.

RATING:
58 (C-)

Notes
: Hmmmm......

____________________________________________

Evolution
is standing by with Todd Grisham for an interview segment. Triple H hypes the co-main event for tomorrow night and says it's going to be the night that Evolution gets back on track. Triple H and Batista put Chris Benoit and Ric Flair out of that misery...and Randy Orton becomes the World Heavyweight Champion. Hunter pats Orton on the shoulder as an arrogant smirk sneaks across both man's faces. This quick segment ends.

RATING:
76 (B-)

Notes
: A rare flat segment by these guys, but no worries. It happens.

Test and Billy Gunn
vs.
The Aristocracy

More good tag team action continued the show, with the struggling Aristocracy desperately looking for a win against Billy Gunn and Test. Gunn and Test have done a good job on Heat as of late as a 'thrown together' tag team, and although they seemed to have the edge here, Gunn was rolled up by Warlock, who grabbed the tights to pick up a win for his team!

RATING:
66 (C+)

Notes
: I like both teams, but Regal and Damien needed this one badly.

____________________________________________

After a commercial break, chairs are set up in the ring and it's time for the panel. Jim Ross introduces each man one-by-one, with
Randy Orton
coming out first.
Christian
is second,
Kane
is third...and then finally, it's the World Heavyweight Champion
Shawn Michaels
!

JR gives each man a chance to express to the fans why they deserve to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title, and Randy Orton kicks it off. Orton once again reminds everyone that he is "The Legend Killer," he's a third-generation superstar, and perhaps most importantly, he's
beaten
Shawn Michaels not once, but twice! There is no one in this business who has a calling like Randy Orton - it is his
destiny
to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven.

Kane talks about how the fans will vote for him if they desire justice. Kane is the only man deserving of the World Heavyweight Title shot because he was seconds away from winning the title (before Orton interfered). Kane feels as if the fans don't want to see their hero buried, but whether it happens tomorrow night or not, Kane promises that he
will
finish Shawn Michaels.

"Captain Charisma" is the final challenger to speak; he talks about how he's got no worries about getting voted into the title match tomorrow night because he knows he can count on the Peeps to come through. If it turns out that he doesn't need the Money in the Bank briefcase to get that World Heavyweight Title, he's gonna make the Peeps proud and bring it home, baby! Christian kisses the tips of his fingers and points out to someone in the crowd, smirking.

Michaels has the last word, and he gets to share words with each of the challengers. He tells Christian that the only reason the fans would vote him in is because they know he's gonna lose his guaranteed Money in the Bank title shot if he loses! Randy Orton's day will come, Michaels admits, but tomorrow night, his heart will be broken. And Kane...oh boy, Kane...Michaels tells Kane to give up because he's never
ever
going to finish off the man who can't be killed!

This prompts Kane to smile and stand up, walking towards the champion. The four men start to shout at each other about who deserves the title shot...until it descends into an all-out brawl! The four men all square off, with each man trying to get his hands on Michaels in the end, but it was eventually Kane standing tall! Christian slid out with his briefcase as Kane gets revenge from last week, Chokeslamming Orton onto the mat! Michaels gets tossed over the top rope with the belt lying in the ring. Kane picks it up and raises it in the air, sending his arms down for flames to ignite the turnbuckles! With one night to go, will Kane challenge for the belt at Taboo Tuesday? Only you can decide!

RATING:
91 (A)

Notes
: None.

There's a quick graphic and hype by the commentators for the six-man tag match that's coming up right after this commercial break!

http://i.imgur.com/dhDKZ5h.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/cI2DTWN.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/g6zxWdm.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/sv4Vqlt.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/BMY1ohP.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/LNweF2L.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/ooGPDYe.jpg

Chris Jericho and The Dudley Boyz
vs.
Johnny Nitro and La Resistance w/Melina

Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross hyped this one as veterans against youngsters, and the difference was clear. Nitro and the World Tag Team Champions worked with more speed and quicker attacks while the Dudleys used their bruising style in concert with Jericho's all-around ability. These six man put on a very good match for the audience which was won by the bad guys after Nitro rolled up D-Von Dudley and held the tights!

After the match, the winning team started to lay a beatdown on their opponents using the World Tag Team title belts. This gave La Resistance the opening to pick up Bubba Ray for the Au Revoir, but
Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, and Shelton Benjamin
hit the ring to spin the numbers in their favor! The three potential Taboo Tuesday opponents run the champions off (as well as Johnny Nitro) and they want a piece tonight! However, La Resistance and Nitro head to the back, satisfied with their damage.

RATING:
74 (B-) / 76 (B-) / 58 (C-)

Notes
: Nice little semi-main event, no one really lost all that much momentum here. The fans are gonna want to see La Resistance and Nitro get beaten on tomorrow night.

Chris Benoit
vs.
Christian w/Trish Stratus

This main event was a great one. Both guys knew each other pretty well, and the two Canadians squared off here in our main event. "Captain Charisma" came out only with Trish, who cheered him on from ringside. At one point, she tried to distract Benoit, who just laughed and went back to work on "Mr. Money in the Bank." he worked over the neck and shoulder of Christian, clearly trying to soften him up for the Crossface, but Christian kicked him hard on the chest after an Irish whip into the ropes, allowing for him to take control. The match ebbed and flowed for each man, with Benoit climbing to the top for a Diving Headbutt. All of a sudden,
Triple H
and
Batista
came jogging down the ramp to the chagrin of both Benoit and referee Chad Patton. The former World Champion got up on the apron and was swung at by Benoit, forcing him to jump off. In the midst of all the chaos, Trish slipped Christian the Money in the Bank briefcase, which he plastered "The Rabid Wolverine" in the face with! He slid the briefcase back to Trish, who hid it from the referee as Christian hooked the leg for a tainted 1, 2, 3!

Tired after his 17-minute victory, Christian walks to the back victorious with Trish Stratus. Triple H and Batista haven't yet had their fun though; they get inside the ring and start to lay a beatdown on Chris Benoit. Out from the back is
Ric Flair
like a house of fire! He protects his partner for tomorrow night with chops and punches to both men, but after a chop block from "The Game," the numbers game doomed "The Nature Boy." Triple H and Batista lay a vicious beatdown on both Flair and Benoit, leading to Flair being bloodied and Benoit getting a Pedigree and a Batista Bomb! Evolution stands tall above the beaten carcasses of tomorrow night's opponents - will Flair and Benoit be ready to fight at the pay-per-view?

RATING:
81 (B) / 93 (A) / 98 (A*)

Notes
: Christian's stock rose in this one for sure. Looks like we made the right choice putting the briefcase on him, he's really getting heat from the audience.

OVERALL SHOW RATING:
90 (A)

Notes
: Our popularity increased in 23 regions thanks to this show, it was almost universally acclaimed. We couldn't be much hotter heading into Taboo Tuesday. As a celebration of our innovative and unprecedented show tomorrow, Jackie Gayda and Lita showed up with a ton of alcohol for everyone that they'll be giving out after the show tomorrow night.

WWE Taboo Tuesday Preview; Tuesday, Week 3, October 2004

WWE Taboo Tuesday

Tuesday, Week 3, October 2004

Bradley Center; Milwaukee, WI

From the home of the Milwaukee Bucks, RAW prevents the innovative Taboo Tuesday pay-per-view! The fans will get to decide each of the following matchups:

http://i.imgur.com/IUMs941.jpg

http://i.imgur.com/PWiq9ZN.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/PWiq9ZN.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/sv4Vqlt.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/LNweF2L.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/ooGPDYe.jpg

Choices: Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam, Shelton Benjamin

TBD
vs.
La Resistance ©

How We Got Here:
All three of these men have had run-ins with La Resistance as of late, and since they could not decide who would take on the champions, the fans will have that privilege! Which two of the three athletic superstars will challenge for the World Tag Team Titles, and which will be left out?

http://i.imgur.com/dhDKZ5h.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/sv4Vqlt.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/BMY1ohP.jpg

Choices: Falls Count Anywhere, Ladder Match, Submission Match

Chris Jericho ©
vs.
Johnny Nitro w/Melina

How We Got Here:
Since Nitro spoiled the Intercontinental Title match at Unforgiven, he has been relentlessly chasing his first title in WWE. He gets his chance against "Y2J," who will defend the Intercontinental Title against "The Hollywood Hotshot." After winning a Beat the Clock Challenge, the arrogant Nitro chose a Falls Count Anywhere Match, a Ladder Match, and a Submission Match as the three choices for fans to vote on. Will he truly be able to conquer Jericho, or will Y2J's title reign continue?

The Dudley Boyz
vs.
TBD

How We Got Here:
The former World Tag Team Champions were looking for action at the pay-per-view, so Mr. McMahon decided to throw them a bone: they will take on the two men not voted into the World Heavyweight Title match! They've had confrontations with Randy Orton, Kane, and Christian over the past few weeks and after a tainted loss last night, they'll surely be looking to get back on track.

Choices: Last Woman Standing, Straitjacket Match, Pillow Fight

Lita w/Mickie James ©
vs.
Victoria

How We Got Here:
Round 3 of this rivalry will feature a stipulation chosen by the fans. Lita agreed to give Victoria a rematch after Mickie James intervened at Unforgiven, and since then Victoria has attempted to play mind games with Lita's biggest fan, telling her that Lita only cares for keeping her title. Will Victoria be able to capture the championship that has eluded her thus far this year, or will Lita retain once again?

Choices: Steel Cage, Street Fight, or 2/3 Falls

Ric Flair and Chris Benoit
vs.
Triple H and Batista

How We Got Here:
The stakes are high in this tag match. Chris Benoit has been inserted into the devolution of Evolution, but petty squabbles are no matter - he just wants to make someone tap! With the Evolution split continuing to heat up, which side will be able to come out with a statement win?

Choices: Christian, Kane, Randy Orton

Shawn Michaels ©
vs.
TBD

How We Got Here:
"The Heartbreak Kid" will have a challenge that no World Heavyweight Champion has ever faced before. He must prepare for three men, one of which will be voted on to face him in the main event. All three men have gotten a leg up on their competition: Randy Orton RKOed Kane just one week ago, Kane ruled over the brawl following last night's panel, and Christian picked up one of the biggest wins of his career, defeating Chris Benoit in RAW's main event! Which of these three men will the fans choose to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title?

Thanks everyone, the poll is closed! 37 votes was the final tally, which was more than I expected. You guys did a great job and there was a couple of narrow choices so every vote counted! I should have the show booked by tonight and then I'll get to work on writing it!

In the meantime you might see a couple of updates in my '96 diary :D. Thanks again!

Melina was at ringside for this dangerous affair, not leaving her man’s side for the biggest match of his career to this point. “The Hollywood Hotshot” locked up with the Intercontinental Champion and it was a physical battle early on that got the fans warmed up for the rest of the night. Jericho showed his expertise early on by dodging Nitro’s attacks and using the ring to his advantage – a springboard dropkick sent the challenger off the top rope all the way to the floor! Jericho followed this up with a baseball slide, narrowly missing Melina as Nitro was sent into a standing ladder face-first.</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #cd5c5c;">Along the outside, the ladders became even more involved. Jericho ran at the challenger with a ladder in hand, smashing him backwards into the barricade. He pushed the ladder under the bottom rope and went to climb up to the belt, but Nitro quickly thwarted him. He pulled him down and nailed a spin kick to the head. The challenger took control from here, putting the boots to the champion. At one point, Nitro even tried to lock in the Walls of Jericho, but Chris was able to escape and buy some time with an Enzuigiri. Another ladder was brought into the ring as Jericho wedged it on top of the second rope in the corner. Nitro would try to slingshot him into it, but Jericho kicked off sending Johnny rib-first into the steel. The wind knocked out of him, Johnny Nitro turned around into a monkey flip into the standing ladder!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #cd5c5c;">The match wore on as both men eventually climbed to the top of the ladder. They traded blows one-by-one, with Nitro reeling. As Jericho was looking to land the winning blow to knock Nitro off, Melina rolled in the ring screaming. She grabbed Jericho’s right leg and the referee started to intervene. After a few moments, Jericho was able to send Melina flying to the ground and turned back to the challenger, who absolutely <em id="">blasted</em> him with a roundhouse kick to the head atop the ladder! Y2J was stunned and fell backwards, down to the ground as “The Hollywood Hotshot” slowly caught his breath, climbed the final step and removed the Intercontinental Championship!</span></div></div> </div><div style="position: relative; margin-top: 0px;"><img style="float:left;" src="

Christian and Kane never really clicked in this match, as both seemed incredibly ticked off at their lack of fan support necessary to advance to tonight’s main event. The Dudley Boyz, having had problems with both men in the past, came in looking for a statement win after losing the World Tag Titles. They capitalized on their opponents’ lack of chemistry by hitting a variety of double team moves on each man. The contest was almost as if they were fighting two separate Handicap matches at the same time. A double Suplex here, a double Flapjack there, and the Dudleyz were rolling. That all ended when Kane caught D-Von with a huge big boot. As he was lying on the outside, Christian crawled around the ring and pulled Bubba Ray’s leg out from under him on the apron!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #cd5c5c;">“Captain Charisma” and “The Big Red Machine” pulled it together for a bit here, tagging each other in and out as they wore down D-Von Dudley. A kick out after a reverse DDT from Christian, another after a Chokebomb from Kane… D-Von was able to push Christian off and make the tag! His resiliency led to Bubba Ray coming in to knock Christian off guard with a couple of punches. This led to a Samoan Drop and the Bubba Bomb, but Christian managed to stay alive. Bubba whipped Christian into the corner and ran at him, but this led to him pulling Chad Patton in the way, knocking him out! After a short melee, Christian snuck out and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase! Swinging and missing at Bubba Ray, he clocked Kane in the head! As the referee was stirring, all looked shocked as Kane, after a moment, sat up and shot daggers through Christian! He got up and landed a thunderous Chokeslam to his tag team partner before walking out, leaving a 3-D and a 3-count all but academic!</span></div></div> </div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0px; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div style="font-size: 16px; font-family: "Times New Roman"; display: block;"><div style="text-align: right;"><span style="color: #cd5c5c;"><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif;"><strong id="">Winners: </strong>The Dudley Boyz (via 3-D to Christian)<strong id=""><br id="">Rating: </strong>77 (B) / 75 (B-)<br id=""></span></span></div></div> </div></div></div><div style="padding: 0px 5px; overflow: hidden;"><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; border: 1px solid transparent;"><div style="padding:5px;text-align:center;font-size:1.8em;"><img src="

These were two top female competitors at the height of their talents. The familiar foes locked up early on and had an impressive chain wrestling exchange early on. In the early going, both women essentially broke even in the athleticism department, which prompted Victoria to resort to her superior strength. Mickie looked on from the outside as Victoria beat up her mentor with a delayed vertical suplex and a neckbreaker before locking in a reverse chinlock. Lita was in a bad way as the challenger brutalized her early on. Mickie started to slam on the apron, and the fans clapped along to feed Lita some energy. She was able to make her way to her feet and caught Victoria with a headscissors takedown, sending her through the ropes!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #cd5c5c;">Victoria started to jaw with Mickie on the outside, advancing toward her menacingly, but Lita came through with a suicide dive! The referee began his count, but both women were up quickly. They had a brawl along the outside, involving the steel steps as well as the announce table. Lita had the challenger reeling as she climbed the steps and jumped off with a cross body! She kept her momentum as the match went back in the ring, but Victoria was able to surprise her with a Bearhug, continuing to wear down the champion. Lita’s title reign nearly came to an end after a Superkick and then a
! However, Lita was somehow able to pull herself to her feet at a seven count.</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #cd5c5c;">This ticked Victoria off, and she grabbed a table, setting it up outside the ring as Mickie pleaded with her not to do it. Victoria shoved her to the ground, showing her true colors after her ‘advice’ to James recently on RAW. The challenger got inside the ring and picked up Lita, pressing her over her head. The champion, about to get thrown over the ropes through the table, slid out behind Victoria and landed a dropkick, putting Victoria through the ropes! Lita followed her to the floor, blocked a snap suplex, and hit the Lita DDT on the floor! Victoria got up at a count of eight, but Lita landed a couple of forearm strikes, working the challenger over onto the table. The crowd went wild as Lita slowly climbed up to the top rope…and from the top rope to the floor, hit the Litasault through the table!</span><br id=""><br id=""><span style="font-family: calibri,arial,sans-serif; color: #cd5c5c;">Both women were out as Mickie stood by worried. Lita was out cold on top of Victoria, and it was clear that this match was going to end as a draw if Mickie didn’t choose a side. James walked over as the referee reached a seven count and pulled Lita off, holding her up with the assistance of the apron! A ten count was reached: Lita retains!</span></div></div> </div><div style="position:relative;"><img style="float:left;" src="

Benoit flashes a grin and seems completely at home inside the cage. As soon as the bell rings, the match is utter chaos from start to finish. Batista and Benoit split off into a brawl, as did “The Game” and “The Nature Boy.” Chops, punches, kicks, and chokeholds pervaded the early going, with Flair slamming Triple H’s head into the cage. Instinctively after receiving a beating early on, Triple H tried to climb the cage, but was quickly pulled down by Benoit. As Flair and Benoit tried to keep HHH inside the steel structure, Batista came to the aid of his partner. A test of strength starts the match along with some patented “Heartbreak Kid” chain wrestling. Orton held his own with the veteran early on – every chop received a European uppercut, every punch saw a forearm strike from “The Legend Killer.” Orton ducked an early Sweet Chin Music attempt and Michaels turned around into a dropkick. He kipped up and kept the fight coming – a clothesline and an inverted atomic drop kept the momentum rolling. Michaels hit the ropes again, but out of absolutely nowhere Orton hit a snap <em id="">Powerslam</em>! Two count! Orton thought it was over there, and so he picked up Michaels and hit him with an Exploder Suplex for another two count. Their intense battle continued with Orton looking for a quick RKO attempt, which was pushed off. He came off the ropes and ducked Sweet Chin Music, instead hitting a headlock inverted backbreaker! Michaels kicked out again! Flustered, Orton went up to the top rope in an atypical attempt at offense. Michaels, however, used his adrenaline to quickly climb up and hit a Superplex off the top! Both men were down, Shawn’s back in an immense amount of pain, and got up at roughly the same time. Orton kick to the gut, looks for another inverted neckbreaker – Michaels flips over the top – Orton turns around – <em id="">SWEET CHIN MUSIC</em>! The champion falls on top – 1! 2! 3! Shawn Michaels retains!</span></div></div> </div><div style="margin-bottom:10px; position:relative;" align="right"><div style="float:right;"><img style="float: right;" src="

He gets his moment with the championship belt on all four turnbuckles. As he jumps down from the fourth, Randy Orton is seething and breathing heavily. The music cuts off as Orton walks closer to Michaels. Michaels puts the belt down, extending his hand to Randy. Orton takes a deep breath, looks out into the crowd, and accepts the handshake of the champion! WWE SmackDown!
Thursday, Week 3, October 2004

Tonight, Eddie Guerrero faces possibly the toughest test of his entire title reign: he goes one-on-one with a man who is locked in on becoming WWE Champion for the first time. He steps into the ring with a man as hungry as men get. Edge challenges for the title here tonight!

Will there be blowback from Rhyno costing Brock Lesnar another chance at the WWE Title last week? Booker T takes on Rene Dupree, Matt Hardy defends the TV Title against Bryan Lloyd, and John Cena takes on Mark Henry!

Find out what happens at 8 pm Eastern/5 pm Pacific this Thursday night on UPN!

John Cena vs. Mark Henry

Comment: The Cena train keeps rolling.

Hardcore Holly vs. Charlie Haas w/Lance Storm

Comment: You haven't really done much with Hardcore in awhile, a win here could perhaps re-establish him as at least a midcard threat.

WWE Television Championship

Bryan Lloyd vs. Matt Hardy ©

Comment: While I could see Bryan picking up this belt in the future, not today.

Shannon Moore and Too Cool vs. The Chosen Ones

Comment: They finally get a win!

Comments on Previous Show: Loved the show man. Particularly the Title changes! Was surprised to see Shelty and RVD win the Tag Titles. Could lead to a good run as a team, culminating in a decent rivalry when one turns heel :D I think RAW is just pipping Smackdown as my favourite show because of the upper mid-card !!! :D
