DD: Welcome to Title Bout Wrestling and we are less than a week away from Elimination XI!

PV: That's right. Five more days and we get to finally see the DeColt family unravel and Elite reign supreme!

DD: They have to win the match first, Phil. I do have to agree Elite are looking strong and despite the loss in last week's main event their underhanded tactics worked well for them.

PV: Underhanded ta....Are you trying to say Elite are cheaters?

DD: I would never! Enough arguing about that right now because it looks like Ricky DeColt is here.

PV: Ugh, he might be the most annoying of the three too. I wonder what that brat has to say.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img29/6314/rickydecolt.jpg

The usually jovial Ricky DeColt makes his way to the ring with a serious expression on his face. Fans don't even get their usual high fives from the youngest DeColt brother who goes right for a microphone and climbs into the ring.

RD: So I think it is safe to say Elite decided on the three representatives for this year. I don't have a problem with who you picked, but I do have a problem with Dan DaLay getting involved at every turn last week. Dan, you are nothing but a bully and you should know that is not going to fly when me and my brothers are involved. You want to be in the ring so badly and throw around that Decapitator lariat of yours? Fine, I am not scared of you or anyone of Elite. Later tonight I will see you in the ring. I'll show you that you picked the wrong people to try and bully!

With that said he tosses away the microphone and he watches the ramp as if expecting Elite to show their face. He even looks around to see if any are trying to sneak up on him. After a few moments of nothing happening the youngest DeColt finally climbs out of the ring and leaves.

Rating: B-

PV: He...did he just challenge Dan DaLay? And here I thought Jack and Alex were just stupid from taking so many hits to the head. I guess Ricky showing the same traits just goes to show stupid runs in the family.

DD: He isn't dumb, Phil. He is pissed at what happened to his brother and he is just thinking with his heart and not his head this time around.

PV: I think you were really calling him dumb in a nice way.

DD: I am not! Augh, can I get a replacement please?

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

Christian Price and Whippy the Clown vs Bobby Thomas and Gargantuan

Christian and Whippy were all smiles and having fun until Bobby emerged with the monster known simply as Gargantuan at his side.

The monster hit the ring and started to overpower both opponents while Bobby just had a smirk on his face and climbed up to watch on the apron.

Price was soon tossed outside leaving Whippy to be isolated in the corner where Bobby and Gargantuan easily worked him over.

Gargantuan looks to finish this quickly, but when he hefts Whippy over his head the clown slips free and rolls over to tag in Price.

Several stiff shots rock Gargantuan, but he never leaves his feet. A dropkick staggers him and Price charges and knocks the big man over the ropes and out the ring.

He starts to climb out after him, but he is caught from behind by Bobby who hefts him up. German suplex!

He quickly picks up the stunned champ and hooks the leg to nail him with a fisherman suplex this time and bridges. Price tries to wiggle lose, but he is too late and the three count beats his efforts.

Winners: Bobby Thomas and Gargantuan

Rating: C-

PV: Bobby Thomas being a thinking man out there. He finds perhaps the meanest man to ever grace the ring in CGC and uses him as a perfect distraction.

DD: I am not sure Christian ever expected that to happen. Gargantuan is often a loner and it is a bit scary that Bobby was able to talk that monster into working with him. I don't think it mattered who Christian's partner was tonight.

PV: Well he will have no excuses when he loses to Bobby at Elimination. He'll just have to live with the fact he was outsmarted tonight and he will be outsmarted next week. New CGC Canadian champion. Mark my words.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img832/8476/bobbythomas.jpg

Bobby and Gargantuan exchange some words and there might even be evidence of a palm being greased when the two shake hands. Bobby then grabs a microphone as he eyes his the recovering Christian Price who is also being tended to by Whippy.

BT: This is me being nice, Christian. I could have made you think you had a chance by selecting another partner, but I wanted you to realize something. Things are hopeless for you. I have the smarts and skill. I have the experience. Come this Friday? I will have that title and you will just be a clown like your partner.

Rating: D+

DD: Well he certainly doesn't lack confidence.

PV: Why should he? He won tonight and soon Mr. All Business will have the CGC Canadian title around his waist.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img41/156/bclc.jpg

An excited and bubbly young lady stands outside the Elite locker area with a large smile on her face and microphone in hand.

HB: Omigooooosh! Like, hi everyone! This is Hailey Brook here and I am SUPER excited to be Canadian Golden Combat's new backstage interviewer! I hope I get to see a DeColt soon. They are sooo dre-hey!

http://imageshack.us/a/img213/7532/dandalay.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img138/9482/eddiechandler.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img4/562/adriangarcia.jpg

The microphone is snatched from Hailey's hand by the large, meaty fist of Dan DaLay. He hands it over to Adrian Garcia who is just shaking his head at Hailey. The super agent also is flanked by Eddie Chandler who is eyeing Hailey in a rather creepy manner which makes her sort of scoot away.

AG: So this is what the company is wasting their money on? Well consider yourself lucky, Hailey. Your first interview is with the greatest group ever to grace the ring of CGC. You get to meet with Elite. You get to hear what we have to say in response to Ricky so you must feel special.

He just smirks and he turns to look to the camera.

AG: Now Ricky I am going to say this nice and slow so you can understand. Elite accepts your challenge. You just be in that ring later tonight. We won't disappoint.

He just smiles and looks to Dan and Eddie who both grin. He flips the microphone back to Hailey who fumbles with it. He motions towards his two clients and the men stalk off camera as a flustered Hailey gives a huff and sticks her tongue out at the men when she thinks they aren't looking.

Rating: C

PV: Hahaha, welcome to the company indeed!

DD: Poor girl. Talk about not the best way to start at a new job.

PV: Hey if she can't handle it she can go back to whatever strip club she was found in.

DD: Are you serious? You really have no heart, Phil.

PV: Oh I do, Ditterich. It's just black.

Destiny vs Brett Fraser

Both men start the match clubbing one another and seeing who could stagger the other first.

No finesse or flash are shown. Both men are using their fists and feet for the most part. If one feels fancy they might break out a slam.

Destiny finally rocks Brett with a big boot to the chin that stuns him long enough for Destiny to heft him up and nail him with a running powerslam.

Winner: Destiny

Rating: D-

DD: Not a pretty match at all. Two brutes just battling it out with one half of the tag champs picking up the win.

PV: Destiny looks ready. He has to make sure Fate is on his game. The Soldiers of Fortune are gruff veterans that can get the job done and I don't think they care who Shane has for a partner. They know they can come out on top.

DD: What if Shane pulls a Bobby and has Gargantuan as a partner?

PV: Ditterich, you are an idiot.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

Ricky DeColt is waiting in the ring when the music of Elite hits. He looks ready to go when Adrian Garcia emerges with Dan DaLay. The super agent is just smirking as he holds a microphone in hand.

AG: I am a man of my word, Ricky. I said meet us out here and you would have your match. Oh, and one more thing.

http://imageshack.us/a/img138/9482/eddiechandler.jpg

Ricky is soon hit hard from behind by Eddie Chandler whom came out through the crowd. Adrian just grins and speaks into the microphone again.

AG: I said Elite accepts the challenge, not Dan DaLay. I hope you are ready for a workout! Ring the bell!

Rating: B-

PV: This is too perfect! This is why Elite will win Sunday. Adrian is always thinking and playing with the DeColt's mind.

DD: After making Ricky think and prepare for the massive Dan DaLay, he is instead taking on the devious Eddie Chandler who is already taking advantage of that surprise attack.

Ricky DeColt vs Eddie Chandler with Dan DaLay and Adrian Garcia

Adrian and Dan stalk to the ring as Eddie works over Ricky with several punishing moves and submission holds.

The youngest DeColt soon starts to fight back, but has the constant worry of the two men outside the ring causing problems.

He manages to rock Eddie with a few forearms and then he ducks a charge and uses Eddie's momentum to heft him up and out of the ring where he lands on Dan DaLay who was trying to catch his fellow Elite member.

Ricky is starting to get pumped up when Adrian jumps on the apron and starts to distract both Francis Long and Ricky DeColt.

Ricky smartens up and turns around in time to see it was a distraction for so Dan could get in the ring. Decapitator is ducked and Ricky dropkicks him out of the ring.

Eddie slides in quickly and jumps on Ricky as he is getting back up. He locks on the Fabulous Stretch.

Ricky tries to fight to the ropes he almost gets there before Eddie manages to roll him away and keep the hold locked on.

Ricky fights as best he can, but he soon taps out.

Winner: Eddie Chandler

Rating: C+

PV: Yes! Eddie Chandler did it!

DD: Dan DaLay ends up being the key factor again this week. The big man may not have hit with the Decapitator, but he was enough of a distraction to let Eddie get the win.

PV: Oh and this is rich. Looks like Dan and Eddie are about to teach Ricky a lesson.

DD: No! No they won't! Here come Jack and Alex!

PV: Dammit!

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

Dan and Eddie look to further punish Ricky DeColt, but quickly bail when both Alex and Jack hit the ring armed with steel chairs. Elite decide this time it is best to not press their luck and they start to withdraw as an angry Alex grabs a microphone. He points a chair towards the Elite members while shouting into the microphone.

AD: You can keep thinking you are smart and we are going to be pushovers. You can field whoever the hell you want this Friday and it won't matter. You have done angered us all and there is nothing....NOTHING you all can do to stop us. Prepare your men, Adrian! This Friday you will find out that one angry DeColt is bad enough. Try to survive three angry DeColts at once!

Adrian looks furious and he turns about to leave. Dan DaLay looks like he might charge the ring, but Eddie manages to stop him and get him to follow Adrian to the back while the DeColt brothers stay in the ring and check on Ricky.

Rating: B+

PV: Big talk for guys that were made to look like fools two weeks in a row.

DD: Adrian Garcia got the better of the DeColt brothers again, but come this Friday I wouldn't want to be in Elite's shoes.

PV: Because you don't want to be a winner like them. You are a loser just like the DeColts.

DD: We are out of time folks! Tune in on pay-per-view this Friday for Elimination XI!

http://imageshack.us/a/img841/2667/philvibert.jpg

Stop giving out my number, Alex!

The last episode of Title Bout I think did well enough to show off some of the matches fans might expect to see. Of course we do tend to get decent enough buys because our pay-per-views are one of the rare times where you can see all the talent including the ones that aren't always on television.

That is the downside to having only an hour to work with. There are so many guys that I would like to use, but I can rarely find the time to include everyone I want to. That is why I do my best to include everyone in some capacity at the big shows. Give them time to strut their stuff and also it allows me to gauge the reaction they get and helps me consider in turn who to perhaps feature on television some more.

At this point we were three days away from Elimination XI. I was working on the undercard matchups when I started to hear the phone ring. Usually I check who is calling, but I admit I was a bit engrossed and I ended up just fumbling with the phone and picking it up.

"This is Phil."

"Hey....Phil? Sorry to call, but I wanted to get ahold of you and Alex passed along your number. This is Dean Daniels."

What the heck could Dean want at this hour? From what I understood he held his first show with our child company the same night as our go home Title Bout show and it didn't do too bad at all. Other than that I didn't hear of problems or the like. Oh no. He doesn't want to be friends I hope. I don't mind a business relationship with Deano, but really I think that is about as far as I want things to go.

"So what do ya need, Dean? Checking to see if we are sending anyone down anytime soon or the like?"

"Well it is more about someone of yours that is already working for us. The one that was working for Grimm."

Now I have to admit I am curious. When we met the guy was laid back and seemed excited about the prospect of being at a company that was to prepare him for a possible call up one day. Even the info I gathered on him said he has never really been trouble.

"What about him? Did he complain about the match he had or something?"

"Huh? Oh, no! Nothing like that, but umm....he is asking when he is going to be called up. He doesn't think he is going to learn anything down here. I tried to explain some aspects were well polished, but I think he can improve in a few places to better his chances. He just keeps talking about being called up every day since he arrived."

Are you ****ing kidding me? The guy reported about a week ago and he has only been there long enough to do one show and get some training. He wants to be called up already? This sort of attitude can hurt him in the long run. If anyone was going to be called up sooner rather than later it would be one of the luchadors I hired. He is amazing all around, but I figured he could use a short time with Dean to learn our style.

"Thanks for the heads up, Dean. If you want just tell him we talked and if you want me to be the bad guy that is fine. Tell him to stop talking about being ready and instead do things to show he is ready. If he doesn't like that he can always quit and go back to Grimm."

"Trust me, I have no problem telling him that again and this time to have backup. I'll give you a ring when and if I think someone is actually ready for you all. G'night!"

With a sigh I set down the phone and shook my head. I could understand someone making noise after a few months, but being under contract for such a short time and pulling this nonsense? Needless to say someone is on my shit list already and he might have to work hard to prove he deserves the contract now. I don't like whiners. I already have to deal with a few overpaid ones on the roster. I don't need more joining us anytime soon.

Ehn, I can't let it get to me. I need to buckle down and finish up this card. It's time to put some Elimination teams together.

Elite have looked strong the past few weeks and it seems they might make it two in a row if their recent performance indicates anything. Of course they won't be the only match happening tonight. First let us look at the non elimination style matches that will be happening.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img132/8016/cgctag.jpg

CGC World Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Match

http://imageshack.us/a/img441/1743/destinytg.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img145/8070/fatei.jpgVShttp://imageshack.us/a/img12/5016/vintanner.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img59/9525/brettfraser.jpgVShttp://imageshack.us/a/img41/2653/shanenelson.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img838/9982/g4qk.jpg

The Soldiers of Fortune © vs The House of Old School vs Shane Nelson and ???

The big question of course is who will be Shane Nelson's partner for the match? Perhaps it should be can he win with a new partner when facing two experienced tag teams. It seems like an uphill climb for Nelson, but he was part of one of the most successful tag teams in CGC history so it is hard to say he has no chance at all. The House of Old School would love to get those titles back as well. He has held the title since July of last year, but perhaps he has finally met an obstacle he can't overcome. Bobby Thomas seems focused and has his eyes on the prize. It was December of 2010 when he last held the title and he looks to become a two time champion while Christian Price looks to extend his current reign by beating the veteran.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

Open Challenge!

http://imageshack.us/a/img12/663/trentshaffer.jpgVShttp://imageshack.us/a/img838/9982/g4qk.jpg

Trent Shaffer vs ???

With no Elimination match set for him and a date with CGC World Champion Alex DeColt a few days later one might think Trent Shaffer would be fine taking a night off. It seems instead the cocky superstar intends to issue an open challenge to show that he doesn't need a night off to prepare for his title shot. Could this backfire on Trent or is this perhaps a ploy to further just stroke his already inflated ego?

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

Of course Elimination would not be much of an event if not for the famous three on three elimination style matches it is known for. The massive Gargantuan has been teamed with an Olympic gold medalist and an ex-MMA fighter. Whippy does have the help of his friend Skip Beau as well as the power of Donte Dunn, but can the three overcome such a destructive force? Then again can Gargantuan get along with his team mates and work together to ensure a victory? The Black Dragons have been teamed with the high flying Thrill Seeker to take on Ozzie Golden and The Predators. Will the new guys be able to handle the large crowd and the grandeur of being on the big stage? They do have the help of Thrill Seeker, but they face off with an experienced tag team in The Predators along with a dangerous Ozzie Golden who even holds a win over Thrill Seeker recently. The CGC veteran seems to have found two men with a similar disposition in Grease Hogg and Lead Belly. Together they will take on the always popular Joey Poison and his friends Zeus Maxmillion and Stevie Grayson. Ryan and Joey have had a bit of a history as of late where the pair have switched wins a few times while The Dirty White Boys and Zeus & Stevie have been at odds lately. A win here for either team could help with bragging rights

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

The Main Event

http://imageshack.us/a/img822/6016/alexdecolt.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img89/4457/jackdecolt.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img29/6314/rickydecolt.jpgVShttp://imageshack.us/a/img138/9482/eddiechandler.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img213/7532/dandalay.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img688/851/shooterseandeeley.jpg

The DeColt Brothers vs Elite

How much more can be said about this one? This match has become almost as much of a tradition as the elimination style match itself. The lineup for the DeColts never changes, but this year Elite will be represented in the form of Eddie Chandler, Dan DaLay and Shooter Sean Deeley. But what of Nate Johnson? He hasn't been seen for almost a month now and if he is lurking about the DeColt brothers will have to keep an eye on him as well as Adrian Garcia. The odds are stacked against them, but the DeColts never do back down from a fight. The crowd will be going wild for this one.

So tune in on pay-per-view this Friday for Elimination XI. The television show was following basic booking so no real curveballs were being thrown there. After Elimination we'll start again. From then on the contests will be small ones. Basically four episodes of Title Bout and a PPV. In this case since it is a short contest with only two shows and a PPV to guess the winner/winners can help chose match stipulations for stuff happening at Luck of the Draw.

http://imageshack.us/a/img841/2667/philvibert.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img138/9482/eddiechandler.jpg

Eddie decided to make it a long Friday night.

Before a big show usually everyone shows up a few hours prior to do last minute changes and to answer any questions that arise. We do have quite a few new guys that aren't used to how pre-show prep differs between Title Bout and a pay-per-view. Oleg in particular we have had to be very careful in dealing with because of his language barrier.

Most of my time was dealing with most of the undercard stuff. The veterans like Eddie, Dan, Jack, and Alex don't really need any talking to. They get to mostly plan out their own spots and just need a few basic guidelines. Instead I am more working with Frankie, Mikey, Roy and those that are still getting settled in with the company. Even so I couldn't help but notice something odd happening.

I kept catching Eddie out of the corner of my eye when I was dealing with people. He was usually carrying something covered up and I could never quiet make it out beyond it was obiously a box with a cloth over it. Seeing it happen once didn't strike me odd, but it is the fact I think I caught him four or five different times.

Before I could even question him on it I heard him moving through the back calling evenyone into main locker area where he had about ten of those boxes stacked up with a sheet over them at this point. Eddie was just grinning ear to ear as he began to speak to all of us gathered.

"All right everyone! We got a big show and we got some new guys to break in. So tonight I figured I would make things special. So if we put on a good show everyone gets a reward!"

The sheet was yanked away to reveal a few boxes filled with various liquor bottles as well as some cases of beer.

"The boozeahol tower will be open for business once the show is done. I know some of you are boring and don't drink, but I forgive you and I have pizza being delivered later for you all. If this isn't enough encouragement to start off the year right then I don't know what else to do."

I have to admit I was amused to an extent. It isn't the first time and probably not the last time I have seen alcohol backstage, but at least with someone like Eddie he knows that stuff is not to be touched until AFTER the show and he put it in a place where no one will be sneaking a bottle during the show. I did motion for Eddie to come over to have a word with as people began to disperse and make final preparations before the show.

"I understand what you are trying to do, but did you have to bring in that much?"

"Oh what's the matter, Phil? Afraid you might have too much and wake up in an awkward position?"

"No, just no.... Just some of the new guys I am unsure if they might have problems with the booze and don't want to encourage them."

"Well I guess we will find out if they do or not tonight! Come on now. Don't you have an announce table to get to?"

I just shake my head a bit and give Eddie a smirk. He has been with the company for years so I do tend to cut him a bit of slack and I know he is just trying to promote locker room unity. It is nice to have guys like that. Just maybe next time it would be best to involve something that won't lead to hangovers. It seems like things might get interesting after the show tonight to say the least.

A highlight package shows with the primary focus being on the feud between Elite and the DeColt brothers filled with snippets of the upcoming CGC Canadian title match as well as the CGC Tag Team titles. The pace quickens and the final image is of the battered DeColt brothers in the ring calling out Elite last Sunday before cutting away to an image as the sounds of the crowd start to be heard.

DD: Hello everyone and welcome to Elimination XI and look at this sold out crowd tonight, Phil!

PV: We got a packed house and I hope most of them are DeColt fans because I can't wait for the waterworks to start when their heroes are defeated by Elite.

DD: It will be one heck of a main event. Elite have looked strong, but I still never say the DeColts are finished before the match even takes place.

PV: It's because you are brainwashed, Ditterich. Just like all these fans everyone can't accept the truth that Elite is here to rule the day and put the DeColts to rest.

DD: Well we have a good ways before we find out who wins. We got many other exciting matches tonight and it seems Hailey Brooke is backstage with one of the teams competing tonight!

PV: Who let that bim-

Phil gets cut off before he can finish what he was saying and we go backstage.

http://imageshack.us/a/img41/156/bclc.jpg

HB: Hello everyone! This is Hailey Brooke and I have to say how AWESOME it is to be here at Elim...ina....tion....

It seems Hailey is trailing off as things grow dark around her. The reasoning is three rather imposing figures that are soon all standing around her.

http://imageshack.us/a/img203/1760/gargantuan.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img818/5300/evt0.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img7/4654/0kt0.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img854/5158/katiecameron.jpg

Hailey looks a bit nervous given how all three men are grinning and Ms. Cameron stands at the side of Oleg with a bit of a smirk on her face.

HB: Oh! Well hi, guys. So, like.....what do you think your chances are on picking up a win tonight?

She first holds the mic to Gargantuan who just has an evil look on his face as he breathes heavily. It makes Hailey move to Roy who is just cracking his knuckles and not saying anything. The obviously flustered Hailey soon turns the microphone to Oleg who finally speaks.

OD: Judo champ, big man and the MMA. The deadly combo no man can match. F-

Oleg is cut off by Ms. Cameron who takes the microphone away from Hailey and she just shakes her head towards her client.

MC: Now you can't say what I know you were going to say. What did I tell you about such language? Hailey, dear. Do you really need to ask such a silly question? Can a clown, a nerd and a self proclaimed barbarian really handle a team like this? I could tell you how dominant this team will be, but I have a better idea. We'll show you.

She hands Hailey the microphone again and she motions for Oleg to follow her. Roy and Gargantuan soon follow suite leaving the flustered Hailey standing by herself.

Rating: C

PV: Hahaha, do you think she is regretting her career choice yet?

DD: She has not had the best of luck so far. That is for sure. I think she is relieved that they moved on and are heading towards the ring now. You know what that means. Time for the first bout of the evening!

Night Terror has a hard time picking who starts off while Skip looks to be the first in the ring for his team.

Roy Edison finally gets to start things off and he makes quick work of Skip with several throws followed up by painful looking armbar that makes Skip quickly tap out.

Elimination: Skip Beau

Whippy comes in next and does much better than his younger team mate with fast paced offense that eventually makes Roy tag in Gargantuan.

Whippy has much less luck in this case as Gargantuan isn't even phased by the clown's strikes.

A cross body attempt results in Whippy being caught. ULTIMATE BACKBREAKER! A quick pin afterwards.

Elimination: Whippy the Clown

Donte Dunn hits the ring and shows no fear as he manages to rock Gargantuan with a few mighty blows.

Gargantuan falls back into the ropes where Oleg tags himself in much to the monster's dismay.

Donte tries to overpower Oleg, but the Ukrainian uses his Judo techniques to ground Donte and he twists him in several painful ways.

The various submission holds that get applied are too much and Donte is forced to tap.

Elimination: Donte Dunn

Winners: Gargantuan, Oleg Dorosklov, Roy Edison

Rating: D+

DD: What a dominant performance! Whippy and his team looked helpless out there against those three.

PV: Maybe Garcia is taking notes there. Elite is always on the lookout for new members. Gargantuan says no, but what about the other two?

DD: I am sure tonight he is busy preparing his men, but I am sure once the battle is over he might take time to watch the video of what just happened.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/4876/christianprice.jpg

The camera cuts to backstage where Christian Price stands in front of the camera. He has a smile on his face and the CGC Canadian title slung over a shoulder.

CP: So you got me last week in a tag team match. So you got me by surprise a few times the previous few weeks when I should have been watching my back better. Bobby, you are a decorated man and you have been in CGC for a long time. For that I respect you. I don't respect the fact you resort to such tactics when your own talent should speak for you. Finally it will just be me and you in the ring tonight. The title is on the line and I know you got the edge when it comes to experience. If you win then I say you will have deserved it.....IF. I say if because tonight will be different. I don't have to watch my back because you will be across the ring from me. Tonight I don't have to worry about tag partners. That is why tonight I will walk out with this title and remain the CGC Canadian champion.

Rating: C-

DD: The champ sounds confident.

PV: Let him. I bet you he is shaking in his boots right now. He is facing one of CGC's best and tonight 'All Business' Bobby Thomas will get the job done.

DD: The champ did it! Bobby Thomas looked to have things in hand for most of the match, but Price manages to use his strength to come out on top.

PV: The kid got lucky. I think Bobby gets a rematch down the line. No way does Price beat him again.

DD: Well there are plenty of contenders for that title. Bobby might have to get in line.

http://imageshack.us/a/img41/156/bclc.jpg

Hailey Brooke is backstage once again and it seems she has gotten her chipper attitude back after dealing with the likes of Gargantuan, Roy Edison and Oleg Dorosklov.

HB: Hey everyone! Like, since the last interview was such a disaster I am totally going to try this again. I would like to welcome another team that will be competing tonight!

http://imageshack.us/a/img811/2248/thrillseeker.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img17/515/6zdh.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img19/8102/bhsc.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img209/9885/49ha.jpg

Thrill Seeker, The Black Dragons and Chloe Dean show up and there is a lot less grunting and evil looks and more grins and general good vibes.

HB: Hey guys! I know for some of you this is totally your first night out. Any nerves?

The group all looks between one another and they all get a chuckle. Mikey Lee is the first to lean in.

ML: Butterflies in the stomach? Yeah, we probably got that. That is until we hear the bell. Once it is go time me and Frankie here enter a zone. A little nervousness for the time being? We can handle that.

FL: What a better way than to debut here in CGC? Me and Mikey get to team with a man like Thrill Seeker. Perhaps one of the best tag team workers in the company of all time. I am sure me and my brother here can learn something.

HB: That is SUUUUPER cool, guys. What do you think of having these two for partners, Mr. Seeker?

Thrill Seeker looks slightly amused by being called such a name he pulls out the sucker he was munching on and leans in to speak on the mic.

TS: Time to see if you boys can hang with me. Try not to get too overwhelmed. Time to take to the skies!

He throws his hands up as he straightens up, making a bit of a whoosh noise as he leaps off camera. The brothers look to one another then to Chloe before all three shrug and do the same thing. Hailey jumps up and down a few times for finally having an interview that went right.

Rating: D+

PV: Ugh, that was kind of hard to watch.

DD: Hailey finally gets a bit of a break and it looks like Thrill Seeker and his partners are ready for action.

PV: I rather be in Ozzie's boat. He has a veteran in Nathan Black and a good technician in Warren Technique.

DD: I never said it would be an easy win or a win at all, but they look ready to try and get that victory.

PV: *Sarcasm* Yay

Rating: D+

DD: What a match. Thrill Seeker looked to be in trouble due to the underhanded tactics of Ozzy and The Predators, but he managed to come back and secure the win for his team.

PV: I think Ozzie and his boys got cheated there at times. I think Long was playing favorites.

DD: Oh will you shut up for once?

PV: No....never. Now you shut up because look who is coming out. Mr. Awesome himself.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img12/663/trentshaffer.jpg

Trent Shaffer slowly makes his way to the ring. He has a cocky little swagger in his step and he even stops to flirt with a few of the ladies at ringside before finally climbing in. He asks for a microphone and after a bit of flamboyant posturing he finally speaks.

TS: So here we are at Elimination XI. Alex, I know you are getting ready for your match tonight. Even so I am going to do you a favor tonight. I could be taking the night off and just enjoy myself. I have a few ladies in the locker room that miss me right now. Instead so you don't have an excuse that you are taking on a fresh Trent Shaffer on Sunday after a grueling match with Elite, I will be wrestling tonight as well. I'm such a good sport.

He just grins and gives a bow as the fans boo loudly. He waits for the jeers to die down before he speaks again.

TS: You are welcome, Alex. This is why I'm Mister Awesome and you're not. Now bring on the challenger!

Rating: C+

PV: Don't you wish we had more good sports like Trent?

DD: I am still a bit unsure about this. Didn't he just have a midget version of Ricky DeColt last time he made a challenge like this?

PV: That was an accomplished midget wrestler, Ditterich. Don't question his integrity!

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

Trent Shaffer vs ???

Trent is just waiting and mocking some guy with a bad haircut while waiting for his opponent. Unfamiliar music hits and in turn the masked man that emerges is not a CGC regular.

http://imageshack.us/a/img534/8779/jzj5.jpg

Decked out in Red, White and Blue, the masked man rushes to the ring and pops in. He seems much smaller than Trent Shaffer, who at this point is just laughing and pointing at his opponent.

"What the heck are you supposed to be?" comes from the cocky wrestler's mouth and the response is forearm to the face followed by several kicks that catch Trent off guard.

The masked man is a blur with a style not often seen in a CGC ring.

The quick movements and unusual style actually have Trent reeling for a bit.

Sensing he is in trouble he acts like he is trying to pull of the man's mask when they tangle up.

He lands a low blow as Francis Long tries to get him to stop and finally manages to slow down his masked opponent.

Trent takes full advantage to keep control of the match and eventually hit the Goodnight Kiss.

Rating: C-

PV: I don't know what the hell that was, but Trent picks up the win.

DD: I have to admit I am surprised too. Whoever that was he looked good to start. Long didn't see that low blow though and Trent managed to pull one out in the end.

PV: Stop making stuff up. You know he wouldn't lose to some masked weirdo no matter what. Not when he has Alex DeColt in his sights this Sunday.

DD: I really thought Zeus was going to clean them all out, but Ryan thought fast and got the pin.

Hailey Brook is doing her best not to bounce. Shane Nelson is doing his best not to watch Brook bounce and the lucky guy finds himself between the bubbly interviewer and his manager Jenny Playmate.

HB: Omigosh this is so cool. Jenny, I have been a fan of yours for years now. So good to meet you!

Jenny just gives a small smile as she is gushed over and asks for the microphone and Hailey is more than happy to hand it over.

JP: It is nice to meet you as well, but right now this interview isn't about me, Hailey. Shane here has a chance at tag team gold tonight. I think he has a few words to say about that.

Shane just gives his usual dopey smile as he takes the microphone from Jenny.

SN: Tonight! Tonight I reveal my partner and we win the CGC Tag Team championship belts! We are going kick some tires and light some fires because I GOT THE NEEEEEEEED FOR SPEED! Youth Energy 2.0! CHECK IT!

He woops a bit and dashes off. An amused Jenny just smiles and shrugs at Hailey and she soon follows her client off screen.

The camera cuts to the DeColt locker area where the three brothers are standing in a circle. Each have an arm extended out and hands resting on top of one another as each speaks.

AD: They think they outsmarted us. Already think they have won this match.

JD: Let them underestimate us. They want to think of us as being backed into a corner? Let them.

RD: Their attetmpts to break us have just made things worse for them. We are a well oiled machine.

JD: We are unstoppable.

The members of the Elite team tonight are shown in their own locker area. Eddie Chandler looks lost in thought as he is watching recordings of DeColt matches. Sean is standing in front of Dan DaLay who is just looking to be overflowing with rage.

DD: Hit me again!

Sean Deely rears back and slaps Dan hard across the face again and it just seems to rile the big man up more.

DD: AGAIN! PUNCH ME!

Sean hesitates, but he rears back and this time punches Dan who yells out loudly and turns around to headbutt a hole into the drywall.

Adrian Garcia finally appears, a devilish smirk coming across his features as he motions for his clients to gather around him. Eddie seems calm and collected. Sean Deeley looks to be getting in his zone and DaLay is breathing heavily with a psychotic look in his eyes.

AG: Two years in a row, gentlemen. I expect nothing else but a win here. We spent too much time and effort knocking those DeColts down a peg to lose here. Let's go!

PV: Three KO punches. Dan DaLay is inhuman to take that many. He shouldn't have lost!

As Francis Long starts to get to his feet, he is yanked out of the ring suddenly and the figure behind the act quickly scrambles in. Marie shouts a warning to her dazed husband who has his arm raised by who he thinks is Long. He turns about and is met with a knee to the midsection then a DDT.

Nate Johnson stands over the now downed Jack DeColt and he just smirks. He starts laying into the fallen DeColt then locks him into crossface armbar submission while screaming 'I'm back!' as officials run in and try to pull the irate Nate Johnson off the unconcious Jack DeColt. Adrian Garcia actually looks surprised as he watches on from ringside, but eventually it turns into a devilish grin as he watches his client destroy Jack.

Who was that masked man?

When Trent Shaffer made an open challenge at Elimination XI many people weren't sure who would answer the call. Even less, or if any at all, would have guess a masked man decked out in the red white and blue of our neighbors down South would show up and proceed to put up a rather good fight before getting downed by Mister Awesome.

Digging in deeper it seems that this man is simply known as Americana and he is a well traveled wrestler that is specialized in what is known as the Japanese Junior style. His performance stood out as being unique and not something not seen in a CGC ring. The question remains why a man that looks to be so patriotic for his own country has shown up here in CGC. That at the moment remains a mystery. Only time will tell why he is here as we expect to see more of this masked star in the future.

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

2.0 here to stay?

Also at Elimination XI we were treated to Shane Nelson returning to the tag ranks where he had much success as a member of Youth Energy. Their matches with The Specialists are rembered in a fond manner by all true CGC fans. In debuting with his new partner, it looks like Shane Nelson has formed his new team Youth Energy 2.0 and in a way it was reminicient of times when Shane Nelson and Thrill Seeker worked together.

The new man in the team is a young, American worker known as Jacob Jett. A high flier that has worked several years in the independent scene. His debut was impressive, but Youth Energy 2.0 fell short this time around for the tag gold. Is it a matter of time before they hold the belts? With new arrivals like The Black Dragons as well as tough teams such as The Dirty White Boys the tag division is looking to be a tough place. Many just hope to see that Jacob Jett and Shane Nelson can provide the same flashy fun that the original Youth Energy showed.

Not quite sure if Jacob Jett was Canadian in previous TEW versions, but he's actually American on TEW 2013. Common mistake, though, as he's always been connected with 4C.

That said, great show! Ryan Powell emerging the sole survivor in his elimination match was a HUGE surprise...

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

http://imageshack.us/a/img703/9656/cgcr.jpg

Elimination XI Fallout!

The war between Elite and The DeColt brothers had another memorable battle take place last night where Jack DeColt managed to take down the mighty Dan DaLay with three knockout punches. Instead of having time to celebrate he was assaulted by a man we haven't seen since Survival of the Fittest. Nate Johnson made his presence known by attacking the man that had knocked out Johnson a month previously. It looks like Elite is back to full strength and Johnson is gunning for Jack DeColt.

The night's biggest surprise was possibly the fact Alex DeColt was eliminated first Friday night. The current CGC champ hasn't had much luck since Survival of the Fittest and now he faces the challenge of Trent Shaffer on Sunday. Can Alex extend his reign or will his woes continue by dropping the title to the young challenger?

On Friday the team known as The Black Dragons made their debut and impressed many with their fluid tag work and sound offense. Two men that didn't seem impressed were Warren Technique and Nathan Black, The Predators. After Mikey and Frankie Lee took out Warren, both new competitors were defeated by Nathan scoring a pin on both men in a short amount of time. This Sunday these teams will clash in a tag match. Will Warren get a bit of revenge for being eliminated by the Dragons first or will Mikey and Frankie Lee get some revenge by one upping the man that pinned them?

Finally it has been announced at Luck of the Draw there will be a four way match for Christian Price's CGC Canadian championship. Obviously the champ is in, but over the next three weeks we will find the other competitors. The first match will be between Ryan Powell and Whippy the Clown. Whippy has had a few bad run ins with Gargantuan as of late and is looking to turn things around while Powell managed what many considered an upset win by being the lone survivor of his elimination match. Both men haven't held gold in quite some time so they will both be giving their all to earn a spot in the four way.

Tune in this Sunday to Title Bout Wrestling!

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/1860/cgc.jpg

Title Bout Match Key January 2013 Week 3

CGC World Championship Match

Alex Decolt © vs Trent Shaffer

The Black Dragons vs The Predators

CGC Canadian 4-Way Qualifier

Whippy the Clown vs Ryan Powell

Contest Final Results

Jingo: 12/17

flaviooooo: 11/17

Midnightnick: 10/17

BigDPW: 9/17

Zergon: 10/14

Self: 9/14

Briskout: 8/14

20LEgend: 8/14

3rdStringPG: 6/11

I think Elimination kinda made the scores a bit skewed, but given how the television show tends to be a bit easier to predict it was a nice counterbalance. I think the big one that threw everyone off was Ryan Powell getting the win. Sooooooo, JINGO! If you want I got a few guys I am throwing around in putting into the CGC Canadian 4 way match. I can give you a list if you want to pick one.
