RULES

 1. Credit goes to The Curator/mistaken and The Final Countdown for the layout here.

 2. You have 3 votes to nominate , 1 for each category

 4. You may substitute your C-Verse nomination for a 2nd Mod nomination, or vice versa.

 5. Please place a link to the diary you are nominating.

 6. In the Monthly Spotlight category, you will single out a specific aspect of a diary that particularly impressed you over the course of the month, be it a match, show, angle, storyline, development of a character, etc.

 7. You may not nominate yourself

 8. All nominations must include a reason

 9. Nominations do NOT need a second. So, once a diary has been nominated PLEASE do NOT nominate it again!

 15. You may NOT nominate WWF: The Golden Age...and beyond? by The Final Countdown for Mod DOTM

2 Cornellverse nominations:

We were all disappointed when the previous diary ended along with Sam Strong's retirement, but this follow-up diary has picked up beautifully and has a fan in me <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

The write ups might not be super detailed, but I really like how Zergon involves the readers

Have to admit I haven't been following too many diaries these days, but I do feel I need to nominate one for sure.

It has been an amazing ride since he came back and started working on the diary again. A good mix of action and good family entertainment. The Golden Profiles in particular always are amusing and almost every character is likeable in some weird, quirky way.

A lot of perennial favorites have dropped back, so I'm gonna go out of the blue and give a nomination to WWF: The Glory of Their Times by alvarasus. As much as what I haven't touted his in the DOTM before, I always like reading his bookings for the historical mods, and dude is a beast as far as putting up shows.

And now for my other favorite diary at the moment (and also since I don't read CV), RKOwnage's WWE 2004: The Hangover. RKO's short write-ups are great for the time period, and his Sheriff Steve Austin promos are incredible!

I really like how the readers get to be involved in the decision making. Plus it's the only RW diary that has kept me hooked...no disrespect to anybody else of course <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I am making a nomination for Monthly Spotlight. That nomination is Night Of Champions in Mid Atlantic Wrestling - How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Territories by Briskout It was a great show to end the wrestling year and definitely makes one look forward to the next show. I am just getting completely caught up with the diary. It's one I can say that I wish I had followed from the beginning. The C-Verse win was definitely well-deserved last month.

Monthly spotlight would be the ongoing Valiant/Zim-ME/Hannah storyline in SWF: Where Men Become Legends by Eisen-Verse. Going with it because for an upper midcard storyline, it really caught my attention and that of others by progressing both male protagonists' characters so well and opening up a variety of possibilities - will Valiant turn heel? Will Hannah turn heel? What dastardly plans does Zim-ME have after Valiant? Simply one of his best storylines in the diary, if not the best.

Right, time to put my own nominations in.

First, I´d like to nominate Tigerkinney´s DIASPORA- Takayuki of the Revolution-13 (Thunderverse) http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=522477&page=18. I have said this before but since we need to include reason for nomination, I say it again. Tigerkinney manages to make Japanese workrate promotion interesting to me and that isn´t a small feat to do.

Secondly, I like to nominate Phantom Stranger´s [C-Verse 97] [HGC/DaVE] Everybody Knows http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=524659&page=22. It´s well made diary and he isn´t afraid of pushing guys who normally woulnd´t get pushed like Giant Redwood and Peter Valentine, which makes it far more interesting to read. The shoot interviews also add a whole new dimension to the diary and it´s fun to figure out how things played out in his version of the history. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

This has been an amazing build-up toward Starrcade this month. Looking forward to seeing how Starrcade shapes up, especially who Hulk Hogan's 'crazy' friend is. So many options.

Thank you Beejus for my first dairy nomination. I like to nominate tg01's WCW91-Birth of a Company, with a Texas Twist. For mod of the month. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=524218

and to be honest I am surprised that The Final Countdown's Royal Rumble hasn't been given a nom yet so I am going to nominate that one for the Monthly Spotlight. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=523965&page=39 It was an fantastic show to be honest and really like how he did the Rumble itself.

Less than one day left! Make sure you get your favorites in here!

I am also looking to get some input on an interesting question. Next month, I am thinking about making an additional category to vote on. That category would be called 'Historical Diary Of The Month.' The parameters for that diary would be that it is one that is not getting updated anymore, i.e. it is a finished diary. It can be from any period/both real world and Cornellverse and Thunderverse, etc. and from any game, any TEW diary section. I would love to get the thoughts on this possible new category from the voters here.

It's not a bad thought; introducing people to great diaries they may have missed the first time around is always a good thing however it's accomplished. Not sure what rules or regulations you would have in mind for it, but I would suggest that any winning diary be ineligible for the award again for at least six months to a year, if not forever. If the award only served to spotlight five or six well-known diaries from the past, I think it would defeat the purpose.
