I have the WWF Title on Ric Flair who will be defending it against either Hogan or Warrior at Royal Rumble.

I think Hogan is probably the logical choice. Flair vs Hogan - the match we never got to see.

But this is also my chance to push a guy into super-stardom.

Davey Boy Smith (F) (80 pop)- He had a decent run with the Intercontinental championship until The Undertaker defeated him. He's only 29 years old and has become a negative influence backstage.

Lex Luger (H) (83 pop) - Currently the United States champion, Luger has not lost since entering the WWF shortly after Summer Slam. He is only 33 years old and also a negative influence backstage.

Mr. Perfect (H) (83 pop) - Started out as the Intercontinental championship and had a great feud with Ricky Steamboat before dropping the title to Davey Boy. Since Summer Slam, he has been in the WWF Title picture feuding with Hogan but hasn't won the title yet. 33 years old, not a negative influence.

Randy Savage (F) (85 pop) - Won the title from Warrior at the Royal Rumble last year and succesfully defended the title at WrestleMania against Jake Roberts. He got back on the fan's good side and dropped the title to Flair. Since then he has been around the title hunt. 39 years old. Not a negative influence.

Roddy Piper (F) (83 pop) - Has been doing nothing but helping guys get over since I started the game. Usually putting over the Intercontinental champion as a face and heel and finally back to a face again. He is 37 years old. Not a negative influence.

Sycho Sid (H) (80 pop) - Has only held the tag team titles with Steve Austin (great chemistry) and just recently dropped them as Austin & Sid went their separate ways. He is only 31 years old and not a negative influence. Question whether he is ready to headline WrestleMania.

Ted DiBiase (H) (85) - Had an epic feud with Randy Savage lasting until just after Summer Slam when Flair stole the title out from under his nose in a triple threat. He is still fighting at the top of the card. He is 37 years old and not a negative influence.

The Ultimate Warrior (F) (93) - Fought Savage at the beginning of the game and is currently in the title picture with Ric Flair. He is an extremely negative influence that I believe is finally under control for the most part. Warrior vs Flair or Warrior vs Hogan II doesn't sound like a bad headline.

The Undertaker (H) (86) - Currently on a HUGE winning streak he has the Intercontinental championship after having mini feuds with Snuka & Hogan he just recently defeated Davey Boy Smith for the title. He is only 26 years old and has become a negative influence backstage.

<p>Definitely plan on giving Savage another run sometime. DiBiase, Taker and Piper will get their shots. I'm thinking Piper's would be something like Christian finally winning the world title.</p><p> </p><p>

Def. tough at this point! Looks like Perfect is the popular pick.</p>

<p>I went with Ultimate Warrior based on Pop alone. WWF is a Pop over Performance fed and this is the biggest event (and match!) of the year. It seems a no-brainer to me to put the guy with the highest popularity in the match to pop a good rating. And if Hogan's popularity is higher than 93, then I'd say that's the way you should go.</p><p> </p><p>

Building new stars is fun, but popularity would be a reflection of who the fan favourites are, and in this case Ultimate Warrior would appear to be the most popular choice.</p>

<p>This is just my style, but what I think would be cool would be either to have Hogan win the title by turning heel in the match with Flair somehow, and head into Wrestlemania as the champion to face Savage who wins the Rumble so you get Hogan Vs Macho Man II, or have Hogan win the title, Piper win the Rumble, and set up Hogan Vs Piper at WM. My 3rd option would be Warrior Vs Hogan II. Basically anyway you go you've got an awesome main event it looks like. Seems like a really fun game you've got going on, good luck with it!</p><p> </p><p>

(Yeah, I'm a Hogan fan lol. Flair retaining would be cool too though! Davey Boy Smith vs Flair seems like an epic encounter as well...I suck at making choices lol).</p>

<p>It is a fun game mainly because I've stolen all of WCW's talent! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I'm to the Rumble and I'm pulling a Vince McMahon by changing my mind.</p><p> </p><p>

Right now I have penciled in:</p><p> </p><p>

At the Rumble Warrior defeats Flair for the WWF Title.</p><p> </p><p>

Mr. Perfect wins the Royal Rumble w/ Hogan & Flair battling as the final 3 and Mr. Perfect throws them both out and shocks the world.</p><p> </p><p>

This would set up Warrior vs Perfect for the WWF Title. Not a great match but would have popularity appeal.</p><p> </p><p>

Also would set up Flair vs Hogan at WrestleMania for the first time. I don't think the title needs to be involved for these two and this would definitely be the co-main event.</p><p> </p><p>

Problem here is I have 2 heels that would go over as I want Perfect & Flair to win although I could always have a Perfect/Warrior handshake/hug at the end of their match and really launch Perfect..</p>

<p>That sounds way awesome! Maybe Flair,Heenan, whoever else you have that would make sense to put in with them could keep trying to help Perfect over and over leading into the match and event, and Perfect insists on getting it done on his own, leading into a face turn? </p><p> </p><p>

Yeah Flair & Hogan doesn't really need the belt I don't think either. In my old TEW 08 game I had I set up Hogan Vs Flair for WM 4 outside of the whole WWF Title tournament and that turned out epic. That led into the build up to the mega powers exploding later on in the year and what would have been my build to WM 5, cause Savage was jealous his title win was upstaged by Hogan vs Flair @ WM. I should probably load that game back up, it was an epic save....lol but yeah, your save sounds awesome! Goodluck with the Rumble!</p>

<p>"Vince's" final decision:</p><p> </p><p>

Perfect eliminates Hogan as the final 2 in the Rumble. Perfect beat him cleanly so Hogan shakes his hand post match, turning Perfect face.</p><p> </p><p>

Flair retains against Warrior.</p><p> </p><p>

This sets up Flair vs a face Perfect for the title at WrestleMania.</p><p> </p><p>

I can then do what I originally planned for Hogan a while back with a newly signed Nikita Koloff. Russian/American angle there.</p><p> </p><p>

Warrior/DiBiase/Savage don't have much to do but put over Undertaker & Luger I suppose. Should be good!</p>
