I don't think it would be an issue. I imagine (and I mean no disrespect when I say this) that the majority of contract lengths when set out are or were 'guess-timates' other than in a few rare occassions when we know in history that a particular contract ran out (Honky Tonk Man in early '88), (Bret Hart in late '96), (Dusty Rhodes in Jan '91) etc - so I don't see it being a huge problem. The only 'moraly questionable' change would be to a worker who has been signed by the A.I. but that's not the case here.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Beejus" data-cite="Beejus" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36672" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Most contracts in this mod are all set to random, so it's not as if we'll know unless you tell us who you've edited anyways.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for the replies, guys! And I've just caught up with your diary... good reading - good to see the Horsemen coming back to life and a couple of truly inspired picks - the Miracle Violence Connection along with Flair & Arn would've been a truly awesome combination!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Glad to have you back, Ritchardo! Your diary is amazing, as well. I think I hit some paydirt with the MVC becoming part of the Horsemen. It seems to have been a popular decision. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="RingRider" data-cite="RingRider" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36672" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Great show! Nice work! Really like the Horsemen combo you have working! Also, interesting to see Austin vs. Hogan as a Main Event on Saturday Night.... Imagine what could have been....</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I can completely agree with you on Austin/Hogan. That could have made for an amazing storyline back in the day. It still might in my diary. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> But thank you for your compliments on the diary! I am really enjoying the writing, myself.</p>

This is a match that a lot of fans are looking forward to seeing. There will also be the Four Horsemen lingering around ringside. So who knows how this particular match is going to go down. In other action, we will be seeing a Champion Versus Champion contest. These two men have a definite history with each other and know each other very well. This match in and of itself has the potential to be the match of the night and will be seen only on WCW Saturday Night!</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

We will also see what could prove to be a dark horse match as </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>Diamond Dallas Page</strong></span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> steps into the ring with </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>Flyin' Brian Pillman</strong></span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">. Both of these men are as talented as they come. Both of them could also use victories going into their matches at the Clash of the Champions. Who will come out on top? Tune in to find out!</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

We also will see the continuation of the #1 contender tournament for the WCW World Tag Team Titles. This will be the final two first round matches in the tournament. Comments On Last Show: Surprised to see "Dr. Death" as the first one of the Horsemen to go to Hogan for a title match. I'm liking Hot Stuff International; it's a very nice little midcard stable that will keep a few guys busy at a time. And plus the Armstrongs must all have a death wish.</p>

They are led by 'The Nature Boy' <strong>Ric Flair</strong> and include 'The Enforcer' <strong>Arn Anderson</strong>, 'Dr. Death' <strong>Steve Williams</strong> and <strong>Terry 'Bam Bam' Gordy</strong>! All four men enter the ring and Flair does a strut from one side to the other, releasing a 'Whoooooooo' that is echoed by some fans and booed by others.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Ric Flair:</strong> <span style="color:#FF0000;"><span style="font-family:'CENTURY GOTHIC';">"Somebody told me that there's a party going on in Baton Rouge tonight. Jannetty uses his speed to off-set the experience advantage that Piper has and scores a near fall following a missle dropkick from the top turnbuckle. Piper dodges a cross body attempt, though, and takes control from that point on. Piper sends Jannetty to the outside and chokes him on the guardrail, yelling at a fan who raises up a sign reading: 'Pouty Poddy Piper!' Back in the ring, Piper catches Jannetty with an inverted atomic drop and then slides his arms around him in a sleeper! Piper has put many an opponent to sleep in that hold and Jannetty is no exception as the referee raises Jannetty's arm three times and then calls for the bell.</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Roddy Piper d. He has exclusives you will find nowhere else! But now he is going to talk to his guest at this time, the WCW United States Champion <strong>Ricky Steamboat</strong>! The Dragon comes out and begins promoting his match with Roddy Piper at the Clash of the Champions. He says that Piper got the drop on him the last time the two of them were in the ring together but things will be different when they are going one on one. He says that he is going to prove that he deserves to wear this United States belt tomorrow when he faces off with Piper. He lines Armstrong up in a corner and begins pounding him with stiff forearm shots that bring Armstrong down to the mat. Vader plays to the crowd for a moment, drawing in boos as he asks them 'Who's the man?' Vader yanks Armstrong up and tucks him in between his legs. He lifts him up -- Power Bomb in the corner! The match itself is solid with a lot of back and forth tag team action but the fans just don't seem to be as sold on either team in this contest. One fan holds up a sign that has some tiny writing on it: 'In 5 years times Jeff and Matt, You will have joined the WWF, Getting a massive tag team push, winning tag team titles left and right, but would however lose that push in 2002 when SOMEONE starts getting busted for SOMETHING, Matt Hardy on the other end will have become the cruiserweight champion of the world....both would be released.....only to return 2 years later and get the biggest pushes of their careers, Jeff Hardy over the years would end up winning the I.C title, The Tag team titles....and at 2008, The WWE Championship....oh yeah, and the WHC....Matt Hardy however would follow the same path to sucesss o'er the years, winning the U.S and ECW world heavyweight title, Matt Hardy would betray his own brother in 2009 when defending Jeff's title facing Edge at the Royal Rumble, Matt and Jeff would collide at W-Mania.....and Matt Hardy would win......but Jeff would get his revenge at Extreme Rules, afterwards, you two would both be released to greener pastures.....Man that was a long one.' In the end it would come down to a four way brawl in the ring. Benoit sends Jeff Hardy to the outside. Inside the ring, Malenko strikes Matt Hardy with a gutbuster and then locks him in the Texas Cloverleaf. Matt has no choice but to give up and Benoit and Malenko move on in the tournament.</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko d. They tell Gene that the only thing that would make them look any better is to have the tag team gold around their waists. They say that Nick Bockwinkel has made things easy on them with them gaining a bye in the first round of the tournament. By the end of Fall Brawl, they claim that they will be walking around with the gold and it will be Pretty and Wonderful.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/Sting.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#0000FF;">Mystery Phone Call?</span></span></strong></p><p> The cameras move backstage where we see <strong>Sting</strong> talking on a telephone and pacing back and forth within a locker room. He talks about needing some help in his fight with Hot Stuff International. Then he seems to ask if this person on the other end of the line is going to be at the Clash. The crowd simply doesn't know either of the tag teams and that makes them suffer even though the match has some solid action. The Dudley Boys get in control with some brawling, choking Lance Storm on the middle rope and then yelling at some fans in the first row. One fan raises up a sign reading: 'Where is Dudleyville?' Eric Bischoff says it's a few miles outside Parts Unknown. Storm raises his boots in the air when D-Von Dudley goes for an avalanche and then strikes D-Von with a superkick. Both men begin crawling toward their corners as a sign is seen in the background reading: 'Canada does it better!' Both men make the tags and RVD uses quick kicks on Bubba Ray Dudley. RVD brings Bubba Ray down with a spinning heel kick and quickly moves over to the turnbuckles -- Split-Legged Moonsault! It connects and RVD makes the cover: One, Two, Three! During Brian's entrance, he notices a sign that says: 'Brian, Steve, don't fight guys!' He poses for a picture with the fan and then heads on in the ring where he is attacked immediately by DDP. DDP keeps Pillman grounded for the majority of the match, bringing him down to the mat with a discus clothesline. As DDP chokes Pillman on the bottom rope, Steve Austin makes his way down to ringside. Stunning Steve is scouting his opponent, according to Bobby Heenan. The presence of Austin seems to give new life to Pillman as he avoids a Diamond Cutter attempt, sending DDP into a corner. He charges in and hits a monkey flip out of the corner. Pillman gets the crowd excited as a fan raises up a sign reading: 'Sting's gonna get you Diamond Dallas and he will turn the Page!' DDP has the Diamond Doll distract the official and Steve Austin climbs on the apron, distracting Pillman. Pillman walks over to Austin and the two argue but DDP comes in and holds Pillman's arms. Pillman gets slapped a couple of times by Austin. Austin throws a punch -- Pillman ducks! Austin floors DDP! The action is fairly open between these two wrestlers, with each of them getting in some of their signature holds. This includes Arn Anderson managing to survive a chicken wing attempt by Steamboat and Steamboat kicking out of an Anderson Spinebuster attempt. Anderson gets frustrated when Steamboat kicks out of the Spinebuster and asks Ric Flair, who is at ringside, for a chair! He gets the chair and is prepared to use it but the referee steps in, grabbing the chair and keeping the Enforcer from using it on Steamboat! Anderson and the referee argue, giving Steamboat time to recover. Steamboat catches Anderson with a flurry of chops, arm drags and dropkicks! Steamboat sends Anderson down with a body slam and then heads to the top turnbuckle. He looks toward Anderson, waiting for Anderson to get to his feet. Steamboat leaps -- Diving Crossbody Block! Steamboat hooks the leg: One, Two, Three! Ricky Steamboat wins the Champion Versus Champion match! The fans are rumbling in their seats as the sound of horses clomping along cobblestone can only mean the arrival of the Four Horsemen. Steve Williams comes out from the back to a mixed reaction from the fans who remember him from the Mid-South days. One fan raises a sign that reads: 'Hulkster's gonna need a doctor!' Williams sees it and smirks for a moment but otherwise looks very serious as he comes down to the ring flanked by Terry 'Bam Bam' Gordy. Gordy rubs his shoulders as 'American Made' begins to play. The crowd goes wild for the arrival of the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan along with his manager Jimmy Hart. Hogan poses inside the ring with the belt before handing it off to referee Tommy Young. The two opponents meet in the center of the ring as the bell is rung.</p><p> </p><p> Both Hogan and Williams start the match jawing at each other and looking eye to eye. Dr. Death shoves Hogan, who moves back a step. Hogan shoves Williams, who also moves back a step. The next minute is spent with both men going for shoulder blocks and neither man succeeding in knocking the other man down. Williams goes for another and takes a clothesline from Hogan! Williams pops right back up to his feet and sends Hogan to the ropes this time. Williams lowers his head and Hogan goes for a leap frog but gets caught in a powerslam by Williams! Dr. Death gets on the mat with Hogan and locks in a side headlock, keeping Hogan down on the mat. Hogan eventually works his way to his feet and brings Williams over with a belly to back suplex. The action continues back and forth in this same manner until Williams scoops Hogan up in a military press, bringing him down to the mat and then tossing him outside the ring. Terry Gordy gets in a few kicks to the ribs of Hogan while Williams distracts the official. Williams makes a 'belt' motion to his waist as a fan raises a sign reading: 'Steve Blackman is God!' Dr. Death looks a little confused but shrugs. Gordy rolls Hogan back in the ring and Williams drops the point of his elbow to the head of Hogan, making a cover:</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Two....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Shoulder Up!</p><p> </p><p> The match continues in the ring with Williams maintaining his control over the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! Williams shows he is not above cheating when he chokes Hogan on the ropes, breaking before the five count. Ric Flair and Arn Anderson come down to the ringside area around seven minutes into the match, consulting with Terry Gordy and then taking positions around the ring, making the match seem almost like a lumberjack match. Williams continues in control of Hogan, setting him up on the ropes and then climbing up with him. Williams throws Hogan with a belly-to-belly overhead superplex! This could be all but Dr. Death does not go for a cover. Instead, he picks up Hogan and locks in a Bear Hug! He is squeezing the life out of Hogan! Hogan is shaking his head that he doesn't want to submit but those shakes are coming slower and slower. Referee Tommy Young looks to Hogan and doesn't seem to be getting a response from him. So he grabs the arm of Hogan...</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Two....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Three!</p><p> </p><p> No, wait, Hogan keeps the arm up high in the air! The crowd responds with cheers and claps, trying to keep Hogan in this match! Hogan throws a punch! Another one! A third one breaks the hold! Hogan clotheslines down Dr. Death to the mat and then poses, showing he is getting that second wind that he is so famous for! A fan holds up a sign reading: 'All those in favor of having Steve Blackman winning the WCW title......give me a HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!' Hogan picks up Williams and body slams him to the mat. He cups his ear, getting cheers from the crowd. He picks up Williams again and sends him to the ropes -- Big Boot! Everyone knows what comes next! Hogan bounces off the ropes -- and falls to the mat?!?! Hogan got tripped up by Ric Flair! The official saw it, though, and immediately calls for the bell.</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Hulk Hogan d. The crowd boos this three on one assault as <strong>Steve Williams</strong> starts to recover. Flair drops a knee on Hogan and then begins punching away at him as Anderson and Gordy each take a side and begin brutalizing the World Champion! <strong>Jimmy Hart</strong> is shouting at ringside, looking for some help for the World Champion. As Ric Flair looks to be going for the Figure 4 Leglock the lights within the arena go to pitch black. Some lighters sprinkle throughout the crowd as the only source of light. The crowd is a little stunned, waiting to see what is going on. The announcers seem to have no idea what this means. The lights suddenly come back on after about a minute and there is another figure standing in the ring.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/SidVicious.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> It's <strong>Sid Vicious</strong>! He reaches down and pulls Hogan to his feet, leaning Hogan in a corner and then moving to the center of the ring, seemingly daring the Four Horsemen to come and tangle with him! The crowd pops loudly, wanting someone to finally stick it to the Four Horsemen! Steve Williams and Terry Gordy seem to want to take Vicious up on his offer but Flair calls the men off and motions for them to exit the ring. Arn Anderson looks like he has just seen a ghost! He is white as a sheet! All Four Horsemen exit the ring as we have run out of time! Is this the new partner for Hulk Hogan for the Clash tomorrow? We'll find out!</p>

We'll see if you pull the trigger on a Shamrock vs. Vader like WWE where their no holds barred match might not have been the best but was certainly a good match.</p>

A fan raises up a sign reading: 'D-O-A. (Dallas on Arrival)!' The crowd was definitely more-so into the arrival of Sting, WCW's Franchise Player. The match was a brawl from the beginning between these two WCW wrestlers. DDP made a pretty good showing of himself in this match, getting a two count following a flapjack. DDP plays to a booing crowd, yelling at a fan holding up a sign reading: 'Hot Stuff International can't handle WCW's Franchise Player, Sting!' DDP turns back to Sting and sends him into a corner. He follows in with an avalanche -- missed! Sting moved out of the way! Sting gets a second wind from the crowd getting behind him and climbs up, throwing ten punches to the skull of DDP. He drops back, releasing a howl before whipping DDP across the ring. Sting backs up in a corner and then charges -- Stinger Splash! He signals for the Scorpion Deathlock when he is immediately assaulted by Bam Bam Bigelow and the referee calls for the bell.</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting d. Bigelow climbs the turnbuckles and leaps off with a diving headbutt off the top turnbuckle! The crowd boos as Gilbert seems ready to light a fire. But mist begins flowing down along the ringside area. This seems to surprise the members of Hot Stuff International. The USA chants begin the match as Duggan seeks power from this southern crowd. The result is a brawl that takes place between the two men both inside the ring and outside the ring. When the brawl spills outside the ring, Vader sends Duggan face-first into the ring post. Vader rolls back in the ring, distracting the official as Harley Race rakes the eyes of Jim Duggan. Race pushes Duggan back in the ring and Vader slams Duggan back in a corner, throwing forearm smashes to the skull of Hacksaw. A fan in the background raises a sign reading: 'It's Vader Time!' Vader tucks Duggan in between his legs and then raises him up -- Power Bomb! Vader yells at the crowd, asking 'Who's the man?' He drags Duggan over to the corner and then climbs up to the second turnbuckle -- Vader Bomb! Vader makes the cover: One, Two, Three!</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vader d. This is an excellent match that features great action but only average heat from the fans in attendance. Rhodes and Windham start strong but eventually Rhodes gets stuck in the corner of the Miracle Violence Connection. Quick tags in and out show the experience of this team, though, both teams have a lot of experience together as both are former NWA World Tag Team Champions. Gordy catches Rhodes with a kick to the gut and spikes him on the mat with a DDT. Gordy makes a cover: One, Two, Broken Up By Windham! Gordy makes a quick tag and the two take turns choking Rhodes in the corner while the referee forces Windham to his corner. The change in momentum comes when Williams goes for the Oklahoma Stampede. Rhodes slides down his back and sends Williams face-first into the corner. Rhodes drops to his knees and crawls to his corner, tagging in Windham! Windham comes in on fire as he throws punches to both members of the Horsemen. Rhodes comes in to help and we have a four way battle in the ring as referee Tommy Young tries to get only two men in the ring. He begins backing Rhodes into a corner, leaving Windham open for a double team by the Miracle Violence Connection. They lift him up for a double gut buster but he lands on his feet instead! He sends Williams over the top rope with a clothesline and then climbs to the top turnbuckle -- Flying Lariat on Gordy! Windham makes the cover: One, Two, Three! Dustin Rhodes and Barry Windham move forward in what some may consider an upset!</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Dustin Rhodes and Barry Windham p. He pauses as he comes face to face with one of WCW's newest returning wrestlers: <strong>Sid Vicious</strong>. The two men stare each other down and Vader poses for a moment, trying to intimidate an unflappable Sid Vicious. Vicious just smirks for a moment and releases a huff of air before he moves past Vader without any physical action coming between the two.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/GeneOkerlund.jpg</span><p> <span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/RicFlair.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/ArnAnderson.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#0000FF;">This Is NOT SAFE!</span></span></strong></p><p> We go back to <strong>Gene Okerlund</strong> as he stands in the interview area. He plugs the WCW hotline and then welcomes his guests at this time: <strong>Ric Flair</strong> and <strong>Arn Anderson</strong>! The two members of the Horsemen are angry as they step up to the podium with Okerlund. They claim that having Sid Vicious back in WCW constitutes an unsafe working environment for them! You've got to be fair to Flair! They tell Okerlund that they are going to take their complaint straight to Nick Bockwinkel! The pace is quickened in the beginning by the Rock 'n' Roll Express, with Ricky and Robert using frequent double teams on Booker T. Booker rakes the eyes of Morton, though, and tags in the bigger brother, Stevie Ray. Ray begins a domination of both Morton and Gibson, surprising a lot of wrestling fans, especially the rock and roll express fans! One fan tries to get the Express back into things with a sign reading: 'Boogie Woogie Dance Hall, 1, 2, 3!' But it doesn't seem like the Express can do too much against the power of Harlem Heat. Stevie Ray takes down Robert Gibson with a big boot and then tags in Booker T. Stevie Ray picks up Gibson on his shoulders as Booker T heads to the top turnbuckle -- Heat Seeker connects! A fan raises a sign reading: 'Can You Feel the Harlem Heat?' Booker makes the cover as Ray knocks Gibson off the apron: One, Two, Three! Flair and Anderson argue about their safety but Bockwinkel says that he told Hulk Hogan that he could select any partner that he wants. This includes Sid Vicious. He says that Flair and Anderson are simply going to have to deal with this. Flair and Anderson cannot believe it. As noted by several signs in the audience, such as: 'The Battle of The Blondes!' and 'Battle of the Blonds: "Stunning" Steve Austin vs. "Flyin" Brian Pillman!' This match does not disappoint, as both men put their all into this back and forth contest. Each of them hit some of their trademark moves, including Austin wrapping Pillman into the Hollywood And Vine but somehow Pillman does not submit to the standing figure 4 leglock. Austin yells at a fan holding up a sign reading: 'T.F.P: In 2 years time Steve Austin, You will have entered the WWF, In 2 MORE years time, You will have won the WWF championship, In 2 MORE years, You will have become.....THE FACE OF THE WWF.' Then Austin goes for an elbow drop off the second turnbuckle but Pillman moves out of the way. Pillman gets the crowd into things, speeding things up with dropkicks and arm drags on Austin. Pillman heads outside the ring and stands on the apron, waiting for Austin to rise up. Pillman leaps onto the top rope -- Air Pillman -- caught! Pillman was caught and it was turned into a powerslam by Austin. Austin makes the cover and places his feet on the ropes: One, Two, Pillman's shoulder is up, Three! The referee didn't see Pillman raise his shoulder and he calls for the bell.</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Steve Austin p. Austin plays to a booing crowd and then he heads outside the ring and grabs a chair, sliding back in. He looks to <strong>Brian Pillman</strong>, as Pillman tries using the ropes to get to his feet. He slams the chair on the back of Pillman, bringing him back down to the mat. Austin hooks the chair on the ankle of Pillman and then heads to the top turnbuckle. He is going to bust Pillman's ankle again! Austin prepares to leap but instead takes a mouth full of chair! Pillman managed to toss the chair at Austin and the contact sends Austin flying off the top turnbuckle and to the guardrail below. Pillman pulls himself up to his feet and stares down at Austin. This feud is NOT over yet.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/GeneOkerlund.jpg</span><p> <span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/HulkHogan.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/SidVicious.jpg</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#0000FF;">Not Going Anywhere, Brother!</span></span></strong></p><p> We head back to the interview area where <strong>Gene Okerlund</strong> is standing by. He hypes some major news on the WCW Hotline, involving a possible WWF wrestler moving to WCW. Make sure you tune in on the hotline! Then he welcomes out his guests: <strong>Hulk Hogan</strong> and <strong>Sid Vicious</strong>! The crowd is definitely happy at the arrival of Hogan but a little wary of Vicious. Hogan says that Vicious came to him, asking to be the tag team partner that he debuts tonight at the Clash. He says that the two men have not always seen eye to eye but imagine the power of Vicious mixed with the power of Hulkamania brother! Vicious says that he hasn't always been a good guy but when you're dealing with the Horsemen, you need someone who doesn't always wear a white hat. You need someone with a little bit of an edge. You need someone like Psycho Sid.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 6: </strong><strong><span style="color:#0000FF;">WCW United States Title Match</span></strong></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36672" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/RickySteamboat.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/VS.jpg</span><span>http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WCW_94/RoddyPiper9.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat defends vs. 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper</span></strong></p><p> Our semi main event and this is a good one as two men who are established as two of the best of all-time do battle for the WCW United States Title. Roddy Piper comes down to the ring first and jaws with a fan who has a sign reading: 'Where's the Hot Scot?' Piper pushes the fan backward and then heads on into the ring. The WCW United States Champion Ricky Steamboat comes out next and autographs the sign that the fan held up. He moves into the ring and comes face-to-face with Piper. Piper shoves Steamboat and Steamboat fires back with a chop. Referee Nick Patrick immediately calls for the bell.</p><p> </p><p> Steamboat and Piper do a lot of brawling in the beginning, going back and forth until Piper exits the ring, looking for a breather. Piper paces outside the ring for a moment and then re-enters the ring where he suffers a few armdrags by Steamboat. A dropkick and Piper exits the ring again. Steamboat climbs outside the ring to join Piper and Piper blindsides the Dragon, sending him into the guardrail. Piper plays to the booing crowd before sending Steamboat into the steel steps head-first. He sends Steamboat back into the ring and continues his control for the next few minutes. Piper pokes Steamboat in the eye and then catches him with a high knee. Piper makes the cover:</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Two....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Kickout!</p><p> </p><p> Piper picks up Steamboat and sends him into a corner, throwing punches. He yells at the crowd and then picks up Steamboat, sending him to the mat with a body slam. The next few minutes continues with Piper in control. The momentum shifts, though, when Piper sends Steamboat over the top rope with a clothesline and Steamboat skins the cat as Piper plays to the crowd. Steamboat climbs into the ring behind Piper and goes for the chicken wing! He lifts Piper up into the air but he can only hold him there for about a minute before both wrestlers collapse to the mat. The referee begins a ten count as both men struggle to reach their feet. They both beat the count and begin exchanging punches in the center of the ring, both with wobbly feet. Piper pokes Steamboat in the eye and then sends him to the turnbuckle -- reversed! Steamboat rushes in to Piper and catches him with a monkey flip before heading to the top turnbuckle. Steamboat looks down at Piper, waiting for the Hot Rod to reach his feet. Steamboat leaps -- Diving Cross Body! Steamboat hooks the leg:</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Two....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Broken Up By An Unknown Man! A mixed reaction from these southern fans comes at the arrival of Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, the Four Horsemen. The two men come down and enter the ring, raising four fingers in the air. Flair leans in a corner as Anderson stretches against the ropes. 'American Made' begins to play and out from the back comes Hulk Hogan and Sid Vicious. Hogan poses as Vicious just lets his crazy eyes do the talking as the two men walk right down to the ring. As soon as they enter the ring, Flair and Anderson duck out. Hogan cups his hand to his ear, listening to the cheers. Signs are raised that include: 'Hey Sid! Got Scissors?', 'The Immortal Psychos' and 'Paul Roma: Bigger than Jesus!' </p><p> </p><p> Slowly, Ric Flair re-enters the ring and points toward Hulk Hogan, showing that he wants Hogan to start in the ring with him one on one. Hogan is oh so willing to oblige the Nature Boy. The match begins with Flair avoiding Hogan several times, including using the ropes to get the referee to push Hogan backward. Flair struts across the ring and releases a 'Whooooo' that gets echoed by some of the fans in attendance. A lockup finally occurs between the two men and Flair gets shoved backward into his corner. He pulls himself up slowly and tags in Arn Anderson. Double A comes in and goes right after Hogan but Hogan clotheslines down Anderson several times before picking him up and body slamming him to the mat. Hogan tags out to Sid Vicious and Vicious steps into the ring over the top rope. Vicious catches Anderson with a big boot and an elbow drop. Vicious makes the cover:</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Kickout!</p><p> </p><p> Anderson tries to pull himself back toward Flair but Vicious grabs him by the leg and yanks him into the corner with Hogan, tagging the WCW World Heavyweight Champion back into the match. Hogan continues in control for the next few minutes until Anderson rakes the face of Hogan and tags out to Flair. Flair turns his focus to the right knee of Hogan, bringing Hogan down with a chop block and then doing his usual focus on the knee of Hogan. He picks Hogan up and drops him with a shinbuster. Flair drags Hogan by the ring post and slams him knee-first into the ring post. He climbs back in the ring and does a strut, tagging out to The Enforcer. Anderson continues the assault on Hogan, making sure that the WCW World Heavyweight Champion cannot tag out to Sid Vicious, who is itching in the corner to make a tag. Anderson sends Hogan to the ropes and catches him with a Spinebuster! Anderson drags his thumb across his throat and makes the cover:</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Two....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Shoulder Up!</p><p> </p><p> Somehow Hogan got that shoulder raised into the air! Anderson puts the boots to Hogan and then tags out to Flair. Flair yanks on the leg of Hogan and releases a 'Whooooo' before tossing Hogan outside the ring. Hogan lands at the feet of a fan who has a sign raised in the air: 'Diamonds are 4-ever and so is the Horsemen! WOOO!' Flair exits the ring and chokes Hogan on the guardrail before Sid Vicious comes around to break things up. Referee Tommy Young moves down and begins pushing Vicious to his corner, allowing for a double team by Flair and Anderson, sending Hogan into the steel steps knees-first. Flair struts in front of a fan with a sign up that reads: 'Horsemen 4Life, Baby!' The action returns to the ring where Flair wraps Hogan up in the Figure 4 Leglock! Hogan shakes his head, refusing to submit! Flair strikes the leg of Hogan again and again. He is trying to get Hogan to submit but Hogan refuses and starts getting a second wind from the fans clapping and stomping their feet! Hogan works to turn the hold and gets it turned! The hold is quickly released but Flair moves in and drops a knee, making a cover:</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Two....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Kickout!</p><p> </p><p> Hogan kicks out of the knee drop and then begins shaking his head! He's starting to Hulk Up! Hogan takes some chops from Flair before Flair tags in Arn Anderson. Anderson comes in and takes a clothesline from Hogan! Another clothesline! A body slam! Hogan points toward Sid Vicious and a fan raises up a sign reading: 'Lock that psycho up!' Hogan tags in Vicious and in comes the large former member of the Horsemen. Vicious looks toward Anderson and then looks toward Hogan for a moment. He clenches his fist slowly, a smile sliding over his lips and he floors Anderson! He grabs the Enforcer and slams his head into the top turnbuckle again and again. Flair comes running in but he gets cut off by Hogan! Vicious catches Anderson with a front powerslam and then picks him back up and he goozles Anderson! The crowd cheers and Vicious lifts up Anderson -- Chokeslam! Vicious makes the cover, hooking the leg:</p><p> </p><p> One....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Two....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> ....</p><p> </p><p> Three!</p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Hulk Hogan and Sid Vicious p. Vicious does the Hogan cupping his ear pose, getting cheers from the crowd. <strong>Jimmy Hart</strong> enters the ring with the WCW World Heavyweight title belt! Vicious steps between Hart and Hogan, grabbing the belt and looking down at it for a few moments. He then raises his eyes to Hogan, who asks for the belt. Vicious raises the belt up and then gives it to Hogan! The two men continue to pose as Clash of the Champions comes to a close. We'll see you next week on WCW Saturday Night!</p>

Flair cannot be happy after losing to Hulk Hogan and Sid Vicious at the Clash. Comments On Last Show: While I wouldn't have enjoyed much of the Clash to have been watching it as a little boychild in 1994, I do like me some angel writings. I definitely would have thrown my hands up in disgust when Hogan and Sid won - and possibly even rolled my eyes at the Warrior! But kudos to you for trying to make all these pieces work; your backstage is probably tanked with just those two signings!</p>

I knew that the Warrior debut would be a shocker but I hope that it is a good shock. The return of the Blade Runners in WCW. I also know that Brian Lee's debut was a little abrupt but I am glad that you found it interesting.

Stars 'n' Stripes is definitely my pet project for this diary. I have enjoyed pushing them so far and perhaps in the future.

There are a lot of things that I came up with here in this diary that I, personally, probably would not have enjoyed if it happened in real life. Hogan beating Flair for the title had me booing when it happened in the real life Bash At The Beach. Have always been a huge Flair/Horsemen fan. Bringing in Warrior was something that I thought would be fun, as I have so much fun writing for Jim Force in the USPW/Cornellverse world. As far as my backstage rating goes? It's not as low as you might think. There's not even an issue with it having a rating effect...yet. I've had a few backstage incidents that haven't been talked about here, mostly including drug and steroid busts through the in-house drug testing system. I always start people at 'Fatherly Approach' and work my way upward with them.
