What was nice is that when I was looking over the pop of the JCP guys again, I only had to make changes (basically upping pop in Mid Atlantic and lowering in South East) to three or four workers as I had given most everyone pop in both the Mid Atlantic and South East regions since they constantly worked in the Carolinas and Georgia. And even better, the auto-pushes didn't go out of whack, so that's definitely a plus. Now back to working on free agents and making sure there aren't duplicates of already debuted workers.</p>

If this MOD starts in January '85 can I expect to still have Ricky Steamboat on my Crockett roster at the start of the game (as in real life) ? There is so much you can do with him, that I would want to try to keep him away from Vince!!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yep, Steamboat is still with Crockett at this point.</p>

He was battling Wahoo and Tully Blanchard at this time. Hell Ole was still a face too.</p>

God thinking about the possibilities of this time period are just too good to imagine. Creating the Horsemen, training the Road Warriors to be more than sloppy brutes, turning Luger, Sting, and Warrior into the faces of JCP...seriously, the possibilities are endless.

I can't wait to dive into this.

When did Jay Youngblood and Gino Hernandez die.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I want to say it was late 1985 that the Midnight Express and Rock 'n' Roll Express came to JCP. I still vividly remember the Eaton/Condrey version of the Midnight Express having their short run in World Class in '85 as well. </p><p> </p><p> Jay Youngblood died in September 1985, and from everything I've read, it wasn't drug related. According to Wikipedia, he may have ruptured his spleen during a match and apparently suffered a series of heart attacks in the back.</p><p> </p><p> Gino Hernandez didn't die until early 1986, so you can still push him in this mod. He does have lifestyle habits, much like he did in real life. Right now, 15% soft drugs, 20% hard drugs, and 5% law problems. I'll see how much that drags his angle segments down when I do some test runs, but hopefully it won't drag the grades down below WCCW's pop level. I wanted them to be high enough so that there would be a potential for him going south, but not too high that it dragged his segments down because could he ever talk people into paying for a ticket to see the babyface beat him up. So good, in fact, that there are rumors he may have been considered for a spot in the Four Horsemen had he signed with JCP before he passed.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jaysin" data-cite="Jaysin" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="36675" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I just realized that this mod starts six months before Randy Savage debuts for the WWF...so JCP can sign him <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> And I didn't scale back Randy Savage too much. I scaled him a bit so that there would be room for him to grow into a full time main eventer, but not too much because he was already making noise at this point with Vince getting ready to sign him. Not to mention Savage won the IC Title not too long after his WWF debut, and held the title for over a year. Anyway, right now his entertainment skills are at 80 (B), and his performance stats are in the B+ range. So still some room to grow, but as we all know, it didn't take him long to grow into an A+ player.</p>

I decided to take Alv's approach to looking over the workers (the already debuted ones I have right now), working my way up the alphabet in reverse order. I'll be starting on the Ks tomorrow morning. Good thing too because I caught that damn Haku duplicate that always gets me with him being known in mods as both Haku and Meng.

Sadly I don't think the world could handle two Hakus :(

Seeing this recent generation of "talent" go through the WWE doors who blame their own shortcomings on (insert top guy here) in what I like to call the Entitlement Era, I sometimes wish there were two Hakus. :D

Well, Haku should have taught Camacho how to handle the bidness. Truth be told, and not to delve farther off topic, but I'm hoping Camacho joins his brother Tama Tonga over in New Japan and stops pretending to be a Mexican. He's Haku's son, why on earth did they not try and capitalize on that?!

Wow. I didn't even know Camacho is Haku's son. That is terrible. Guess I have a direction for him if I ever have him on my roster now.

Yeah, I have no clue what "Creative" was thinking saddling Haku's son with the Camacho character.

Anywho, back to the topic at hand, the mod: making some good progress this morning. I'm in the Js now of already debuted workers. Once I get all the already debuted workers done, I'll import the yet to debut workers.

The Rock 'n Roll express arrived in JCP in July of '85. Won the belts on July 9.

I have them in Mid South because according to the records I could find, that's where they were working in January 1985.

And all the already debuted workers (at least the ones who were categorized as already debuted in the 1983 mod) are done. Now to import the yet to debut workers and go to work on them. What I've been doing is forgoing any actual gameplay of TEW and just working on this mod to help get this work knocked out quicker, which in turn will help speed up the release of this mod. I hope to get the yet to debut workers done by next Sunday.

I'm happy because this is not done yet, because my Notebook has finally a date to get in my hands, and I'm traveling with it next week, and therefore, I will be able to play this with my Notebook on launch. :D
