Lucha Words & Rules

Castigo Excessivo - These rules also provide for an unusual call named "castigo excesivo" or "excessive punishment." That is to say, the referee can disqualify a wrestler or team that is not trying to win the match (not attempting any pins or submissions,) but is instead just beating up or attempting to otherwise injure an opponent. While rare, the referee does have the ability to disqualify for excessive punishment under this system of rules

Captain Fall - In trios matches, a pin fall or submission on the captain of a team will result in an instant finish to the match with the fall counting for two falls.

We three scholars are the true kings of WWA and as such we should be treated like kings. I was in Canada last night and I embarrassed the best that the filthy American gringos could muster up. I was loved so much by the Canadian crowds that they didn't want me to leave but the Stones exiled me. Tonight, I make MY return to lucha libre, a sport that has been crying out dearly for change. Spanish Superfly, you've been a prickly little thorn in my great magnificent side for far too long now and I finally have the tools to assist in the destruction of your moral form. With Energia & Pirata by my side, you're days on this plane of existence are numbered.”

Genio begins to cackle maniacally, drawing worried looks from both Pirata Malvado & Hombre De La Energia.

PM: “We three are lucha libre's finest hour. We are the end of the dark days of lucha libre. You may as well just call us La Tormenta Perfecta because believe me, we are the change this business needs”.

Hombre De La Energia speaks up from behind Pirata, making the smaller man jump with fear.

HDLE: “You got a problem with that then you come see me.”

The commentators get no time to comment on what just happened as the loud metal music of resident fan favourite Heavy Metal Anarchy begins to blare over the speakers followed by the traditional Mexican sounds of Cique Jr. & Luchador Original, the three men waiting in the ring for their opponents...

http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/WWA%20Lucha%20Libre%20De%20Mexico/GenioVerde.jpg http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/WWA%20Lucha%20Libre%20De%20Mexico/HombreDelaEnergia.jpg http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/WWA%20Lucha%20Libre%20De%20Mexico/PirataMalvado.jpg vs http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/WWA%20Lucha%20Libre%20De%20Mexico/HeavyMetalAnarchy.jpg http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/WWA%20Lucha%20Libre%20De%20Mexico/CiqueJr.jpg http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/WWA%20Lucha%20Libre%20De%20Mexico/LuchadorOriginal.jpg

La Tormenta Perfecta vs Heavy Metal Luchadors

La Tormenta Perfecta Team Captain: Pirata Malvado

Heavy Metal Luchadors Team Captain: Heavy Metal Anarchy

...who turned out to be none other than the recently formed trio of Pirata Malvado, Genio Verde (who was impressively still laughing maniacally) and Hombre De La Energia who cockily made their way out to the ring.

Unimpressed by their opponents, all three men in the ring fly out off the ring at breakneck speed, surprising Pirata & Genio Verde. Well we've pretty much run the gamut on unique lucha libre finishers after that show. Everything from Captain's Falls to castigo excessivo! I'm surprised a guy like Luis Montero Jr. would be allowed to win via excessive force with HdlE on the card though. Thought he had the monopoly on beating the s*** out of people? :p

Also, I'm even more of a Gino mark now. Wrist-clutch Exploders are the best of suplexes. :p

Good start. :) Can't wait for more. I'll try not to read the results in-game. ¬_¬

As Soul Taker stands victorious in the ring, Pirata Malvado and the other two members of La Tormenta Perfecta gatecrash the celebrations with Pirata making his intentions clear about Soul Taker and his WWA Campeon de Mexico championship.

As the highlight package ends, the announce team of Mario Serrano, Carlos Moreno and Teadoro Nieto welcome the viewers to the second episode of WWA: Mexico whilst running down the card for tonight, talking about the main event of Soul Taker vs Angel De Mexico as well as hyping up up Pirata Malvado vs Spanish Superfly.

They go on to talk a little about the Alliance Showcase match that is up next. The announcers talk about how Brent Hill is known throughout the world for his technical in-ring skills whilst Teadoro Nieto rambles on about Gino Montero's greatness. The announcers cap off their spiel by announcing the Alliance Showcase match will be under normal American rules, meaning it is one fall to a finish.

Brent Hill vs Gino Montero

Hill enjoyed a good reception with most of the fans respecting him, only if because he is up against Gino Montero.

Montero was only accompanied by Chica de Montero for this match with Luis Montero Jr. serving a one week suspension for his relentless assault on Hijo Del Relampago last week.

Both men started out slowly, trying to get a feel for each other whilst trying to get an advantage.

Hill eventually took the lead, keeping Gino grounded and frustrated with a variety of holds.

Hill looked like he had the match won, locking Gino in a Boston Crab. Gino looked set to tap until Chica De Montero distracted Sebastian Cabrera. This allowed a man in a black zip-up hoodie to clock Hill across the face with a loaded object.

Having escaped the hold Gino capitalised, picking Hill up and hitting him with the Destiny Explosion (Wrist-Clutch Exploder Suplex) for the three count.

Winner via Destiny Explosion and a mystery man: Gino Montero

After the match Gino and the mystery man celebrated on the entrance way, hugging and high fiving. The mystery man dropped his hood to reveal it was Luis Montero Jr. all along, the three Monteros hightailing it out of Plaza La Esperanza before security could get to them. In the ring, Hill looked frustrated and angry, this loss marking his third loss in WWA.

Mario Serrano and Carlos Moreno took the time to talk about the upcoming match, praising both Hijo Del Relampago and El Rey and hoping the match will show the world that the true youth talent in Mexico lie in WWA: Mexico. Teadoro Nieto was surprisingly silent.

El Rey vs Hijo Del Relampago

El Rey looked disgusted at the crowd when he made his way out, extravagant robe and all. Hijo Del Relampago came out looking slightly worse for wear, the announcers saying he asked for a match this week to show what he was capable of whilst his tag partner challenged Soul Taker in the main event.

El Rey's arrogance quickly cost him a fall as he tried to taunt Hijo Del Relampago before turning his attention to the crowd. Relampago rolled him up before doing some celebration of his own.

Hijo Del Relampago never really let El Rey get into the match, keeping the stockier man at bay with his speed. The second fall came after Relampago grounded El Rey with a headscissors takedown before ascending to the top rope and flying off with the Relampago Blanco (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press).

Winner at 2 Falls to 0: Hijo Del Relampago

The screen cut to static before jumping to a dark graveyard somewhere in Mexico. The members of the Brotherhood of Chaos could be seen, Soul Taker stood forward whilst his brothers stood behind him.

ST: “Our time is now. For too long have the weak and the narrow minded ruled. The balance of power shifted and now we reign supreme. These championships [soul Taker raises the WWA: Campeon De Mexico and the WWA: Campeon De Lucha before throwing them to the ground] is only the start. Soon we will control this pathetic arm and sever it before moving on up to take control of this entire organisation. WWA belongs to me and my brotherhood. We have brothers everywhere. You have been warned.”

The brothers bow their heads as Soul Taker starts a Gregorian chant as the feed fades back to the Plaza La Esperanza. Soul Taker kicked out at two, both Angel and the crowd not quite sure how to respond to this.

Soul Taker eventually weathered the early offense from Angel De Mexico and slowed the pace of the match with restholds. Sensing ADM getting anxious Soul Taker allowed him up, ADM looking confused for a split second before a boot dropped him clean to the ground for the first fall.

ADM was still dazed from the kick to the head but continued to fight on, changing his strategy slightly in order to keep up with the champion. This change in offence allowed the masked man to gain a fall back via a Mexican Death (La Mistica).

A back and forth battle between the two men commenced for the last fall with neither man able to really gain ground on the other.

That was until Angel whipped Soul Taker into the corner.
