WWE NXT (Live from the Kingsport Civic Auditorium (TN), 1,000 in Attendance)

Alexa Bliss versus Rain

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rain defeated Alexa Bliss in 8:28 by pinfall with a DDT. We kick off tonight’s edition of NXT with the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcoming the television audience to the show as the sole announcer on NXT following the former commentators William Regal and Byron Saxton getting called up to compete in front of the WWE Universe on the main WWE roster earlier this year. Alexa Bliss then makes her way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the sold out NXT Arena, followed by her opponent Rain who receives a more negative reaction. These two Divas put on a competitive bout as both look to pick up the all-important victory and potentially earn the attentions of either the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T, who both regularly watch NXT looking for the next breakout stars. Both of these Divas ultimately want to be competing for the Divas Championship on the main roster and will both be watching intently this Sunday at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View when AJ Lee puts her Divas title on the line against Kaitlyn. Rain picks up the win in this one after hitting Alexa Bliss with a DDT.

Konnor versus Curt Hawkins

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Curt Hawkins defeated Konnor in 12:39 by pinfall with a Heat Seeking Elbow Drop. Following our first commercial break of the evening the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes the television audience back to tonight’s edition of NXT and then the mysterious and intense Konnor makes his way to the ring to a decent reaction from the NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena. The former WWE Tag Team Champion Curt Hawkins then joins Konnor in the ring and we are ready for our second match of the evening. Curt Hawkins clearly has the experience edge in this one having competed for several years in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Hawkins is hoping that his career revival on NXT will lead to once again gaining the attentions of both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. The fans were fully behind Konnor in this one with Curt Hawkins playing the “Arrogant Heel” perfectly throughout the match. Despite being very Mysterious, the NXT Universe seem to really be getting behind Konnor. It is not to be for the bigger man Konnor tonight, however, as Hawkins picks up the win after hitting an Elbow Drop from the top turnbuckle.

Match Rating: E

Percy Watson versus Bo Dallas

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Bo Dallas defeated Percy Watson in 13:04 by pinfall with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Following another commercial break the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes us back to NXT and then Percy Watson makes his way to the ring to a great reception from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the sold out NXT Arena. Bo Dallas then makes his way to the ring and these two put on a decent match with both competitors clearly trying to do all they can to get noticed by higher ups of WWE Management such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. NXT is the stepping stone to competing in front of the WWE Universe and Percy Watson in particular has been competing on NXT for several years now and must be desperate to reach the “promised land” of the WWE. The fans were fully behind Percy Watson in this match with Bo Dallas acting like an “Arrogant Heel” throughout the match. Percy Watson, on the other hand, played the role of the “Fun Babyface” and after hitting an offensive move would clearly revel in the cheers from the crowd in attendance. Despite having the NXT Universe on his side, Watson was unable to get the win in this one as Bo Dallas got the victory.

Match Rating: E+

NXT Championship: Justin Gabriel © versus Viktor

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Justin Gabriel defeated Viktor in 8:10 by pinfall with a 450 Splash. Justin Gabriel makes defence number two of his NXT Championship. Following our final commercial break of the evening the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes us back to NXT for our main event of the evening, for the highly prestigious NXT Championship. The challenger Viktor then makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the NXT Universe in attendance inside the NXT Arena, followed by the Champion Justin Gabriel who receives a tremendous ovation. Justin Gabriel clearly has the experience edge in this one, being a former WWE Tag Team Champion and competing in several matches over the years on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Justin Gabriel is hoping that his run as NXT Champion can one day lead to him being given a bigger opportunity to compete in a more prominent role in front of the WWE Universe and hopes that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T can see that Gabriel does have what it takes to compete at the top level. Justin Gabriel has always been known as a Thrill Seeker and he implemented many high risk moves into his arsenal tonight including the 450 Splash which ultimately won him the match as he retained his title.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Santino Marella versus Erick Rowan

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see the master of the “Cobra” Santino Marella in action as he will take on one third of the Wyatt Family in Erick Rowan. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight should fully be behind Santino Marella in this one as both Superstars look to pick up the all-important victory to impress both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Santino better watch out as the other Wyatt Family members Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper may not be too far away from this one.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Prime Time Players

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will witness tag team action as the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley will take on the Prime Time Players pairing of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight will likely be behind Brodus and Riley in this one as both teams look to impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T.

Brie Bella versus Tamina

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful Brie Bella take on Tamina. This Sunday at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View AJ Lee will once again put her Divas title on the line against Kaitlyn, and Tamina will likely be in AJ’s corner.

WWE Superstars (Live from Taylor Town Trade Center (MI), 1,500 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Nikki Bella versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Nikki Bella defeated Raquel Diaz in 18:25 by pinfall with a Twin Magic. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance not really caring too much about Raquel Diaz despite her making several appearances on Monday Night RAW earlier this year as well as being the daughter of both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. Nikki picked up the all-important victory in this one after she swapped places with her twin sister Brie whilst the referee wasn’t paying attention.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev and Marcus Owens versus Hunico and Camacho

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rusev & Owens defeated Hunico & Camacho in 17:31 when Alexander Rusev defeated Hunico by pinfall with a Big Splash. Alexander Rusev was really off his game tonight which led to Marcus Owens doing the majority of the work for the team of Rusev and Owens with Hunico and Camacho attacking Owens for most of the match until Owens was able to tag Rusev who picked up the win for his team.

Match Rating: F

Pre-Show: Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Kalisto

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Kalisto defeated Fatsuhiko Nakajima in 17:54 by pinfall with a Del Sol Driver. The Godfather accompanied Nakajima to the ring for this match but was unable to inspire Nakajima to victory.

Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Prime Time Players defeated Brodus & Riley in 6:18 when Titus O'Neil defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a Spear. Match Rating: D-

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with the former WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring, for the first time in over a month without his advocate Paul Heyman. CM Punk received boos and jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance as he proclaimed that Randy Orton didn’t deserve to be given a shot at the WWE Championship in the first place by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero after Orton was banned from Friday Night SmackDown earlier this year by the SmackDown General Manager Booker T after continually getting into physical confrontations. CM Punk said that this Sunday at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View all the wrongs will be righted when Punk defeats Randy Orton to regain the WWE Championship. Punk also said that he would prove just how good he is in RAW’s six man tag team main event. CM Punk then invited another of Heyman’s clients, Brock Lesnar, to the ring. Lesnar joined Punk in the ring and said that Orton better have eyes in the back of his head all night. Later on in the evening Randy Orton came to the ring only to be interrupted by Brock Lesnar but Orton was too quick for Lesnar this week as he dropped the “Beast” with an RKO. Prior to the evening’s main event Antonio Cesaro attacked one half of Team Hell No, Kane, backstage, throwing a chair into his face. Rob Van Dam would also be in action on RAW as he defeated Jack Swagger and in the evening’s main event the team of Randy Orton, Kane and Daniel Bryan defeated CM Punk and the Kings of Wrestling pairing of Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno. A tweet is then shown from Vickie Guerrero from earlier today announcing that Kane suffered an injury on RAW and will be replaced in the WWE Championship Money in the Bank ladder match by Rob Van Dam.

Rating: A

Brie Bella versus Tamina

In an extremely short match, Tamina defeated Brie Bella in 5:25 by pinfall with a Samoan Drop. The WWE Superstars commentary team note that Tamina will likely be in AJ Lee’s corner this Sunday at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View when AJ Lee once again puts her Divas Championship on the line against Kaitlyn.

Match Rating: E+

Following another commercial break WWE Superstars airs highlights from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena coming to the ring and once again declaring that he is happy to be under the rule of the SmackDown General Manager Booker T following months of suffering what he called abuse at the hands of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Dolph Ziggler then came to the entrance-way and said that he will beat Cena at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View to win back the World title. Later on in the evening we saw Big E Langston being given advice by his manager Teddy Long but Big E was distracted by Natalya and Summer Rae. In the evening’s tag team main event Cena and the Intercontinental Champion Big E defeated Dolph Ziggler and Damien Sandow. A tweet is then shown from Booker T announcing tomorrow night’s six man tag team match which will see Cena, Big E and Big Show taking on Ziggler, Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow.

Rating: C

Santino Marella versus Erick Rowan

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Erick Rowan defeated Santino Marella in 12:44 by pinfall with a Greetings from the North. The commentary team note that the Wyatt Family are evolving into quite the threat.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

World Champion John Cena, IC Champion Big E & Big Show vs. Dolph Ziggler, Curtis Axel & Sandow

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and will see Six Man tag team action as the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena will team up with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston and the Big Show to take on the team of Dolph Ziggler, Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow. Booker T likely made this match so as to not be outdone by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero who had a huge Six Man tag team match main event this past week’s edition of RAW. The WWE Universe in attendance should be fully behind Cena, Big E and Big Show tonight just two days before the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View this Sunday when John Cena will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston, Big Show, Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow will join the WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso in the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Hunico and Camacho

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown we will see tag team action as the WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso will take on Hunico and Camacho in a non-title match. This Sunday at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View Jimmy and Jey will be opponents as they will join the WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston, Big Show, Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow in the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match.

Christian versus Alberto Del Rio

This Sunday at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View Christian will take on Mark Henry but before that Christian will take on another former World Heavyweight Champion in Alberto Del Rio tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.

One half of the Rhodes Dynasty, Cody Rhodes, will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Sheamus. Both of these Superstars will be looking to pick up the all-important victory to impress the WWE Universe tonight.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from MassMutual Center (MA), 6,889 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Natalya versus Nicole Matthews

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Natalya defeated Nicole Matthews in 18:09 by submission with a Sharpshooter. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance still not really knowing much about Nicole Matthews despite her making a few appearances on Friday Night SmackDown as well as competing in several matches on WWE Superstars. It is the former Divas Champion Natalya who picks up the all-important victory in this one.

Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Prime Time Players defeated Trent & Yoshi in 18:30 when Titus O'Neil defeated Trent Barreta by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. This match was also too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance not rally caring about the team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu despite them also competing in several matches on Friday Night SmackDown this year as well as having matches on WWE Superstars. The Prime Time Players pick up the win here.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Kofi Kingston versus The Miz

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz in 17:49 by pinfall with an S.O.S. This is a decent victory for the high-flying Kofi Kingston over somebody else lacking momentum, the Miz.

Match Rating: C

Friday Night SmackDown begins with the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena making his way to the ring to a tremendous reception from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Cena retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that he is happy to be under the ruling of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T following months of what he calls backstage politics and bias at the hands of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Cena also says that Booker T has set up a great main event tonight as Cena will team up with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston as well as Big Show in a Six Man tag team match to take on the team of Dolph Ziggler, Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel. Cena says that he looks forward to teaming with two of the strongest Superstars he has ever met tonight before heading to the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View this Sunday to put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Dolph Ziggler. Cena says that he knows that Ziggler is talented, but that Cena has met him, faced him and beat him on many occasions before and will do so again this Sunday with the World title on the line. Dolph Ziggler then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own and tells Cena that this Sunday will be different and he will walk out the new World Champion.

Rating: B-

Kaitlyn versus Alicia Fox

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Kaitlyn defeated Alicia Fox in 6:57 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that this Sunday Kaitlyn will once again challenge AJ Lee for the Divas Championship.

Match Rating: E

Following her victory Kaitlyn celebrates in front of the WWE Universe whilst Alicia Fox heads to the entrance-way where she is joined by Tamina. Tamina hands Alicia a microphone and Alicia says that she’s fed up of being held back by Kaitlyn and that she is now firmly team AJ Lee this Sunday.

Sunday, Week 3, July, 2013

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/cd/Money_in_the_Bank_Logo.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View:

WWE Championship: Randy Orton © versus CM Punk

The main event of tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View will see Randy Orton put his WWE Championship on the line against CM Punk. Both Punk as well as his advocate Paul Heyman have been telling the WWE Universe in recent weeks on Monday Night RAW that Randy Orton is undeserving of the WWE Championship and should never have been given a shot at Punk’s title in the first place by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero after Orton was banned from Friday Night SmackDown earlier this year by the SmackDown General Manager Booker T for constantly getting into physical confrontations. Whoever can pick up the all-important victory in this one will leave with the highly prestigious WWE Championship. Paul Heyman will likely accompany the former Champion Paul Heyman to ringside for this match and Orton will also have to have eyes in the back of his head all night after suffering many attacks at the hands of Brock Lesnar, another of Paul Heyman’s clients, recently.

World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena © versus Dolph Ziggler

John Cena has told the WWE Universe in recent weeks just how happy he is to be under the ruling of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T following months of what he referred to as mistreatment and politics from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Tonight Cena must put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line once again against the challenger and former Champion, Dolph Ziggler. The fan favourite John Cena became the World Heavyweight Champion for the third time in his career back at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View in May and has already made two successful title defences, both of them being against Dolph Ziggler and taking place at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View in June and then again two weeks later at the Payback Pay-Per-View. Dolph Ziggler became the World Heavyweight Champion for the second time in his career earlier this year when he cashed in Money in the Bank and would love to win the title back tonight.

WWE Championship MITB: US Champ Ambrose vs. Bryan vs. RVD vs. Batista vs. Cesaro vs. Ohno

The WWE Championship Money in the Bank ladder match will see the WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Rob Van Dam, Batista as well as both members of the Kings of Wrestling tag team Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno compete with the winner getting a future title shot at the WWE Championship at any time of their choosing in the next twelve months. Kane was originally supposed to compete in this match as well but he was injured last week at the hands of a backstage attack by Antonio Cesaro so the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero announced on Twitter that he will be replaced in tonight’s match by Rob Van Dam, who impressed many members of the WWE Universe with an emphatic victory against a former Money in the Bank winner Jack Swagger last week on Monday Night RAW.

WH Title MITB: IC Champ Big E vs. Tag Champ Jey vs. Tag Champ Jimmy vs. Show vs. Axel vs. Sandow

The WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston, both of the WWE Tag Team Champions in Jimmy and Jey Uso, Big Show, Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow will all compete in the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match tonight. The Uso’s, Big Show and Damien Sandow all won qualifying matches on Friday Night SmackDown to enter tonight’s match whereas Big E Langston and Curtis Axel were given spots in the match by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T without having to qualify, possibly due to the connections of their managers, with Teddy Long managing Big E Langston and Curtis Axel being managed by Paul Heyman. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight should be treated to a very exciting match with all six Superstars looking to win the Money in the Bank briefcase for the very first time.

WWE Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contenders Match: Cody Rhodes versus Wade Barrett

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T set up a match between Cody Rhodes and Sheamus with the winner being granted a match against Wade Barrett tonight with the Number One Contendership to the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line. Cody Rhodes was able to defeat Sheamus last week much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance and tonight will face Wade Barrett with the winner getting the opportunity to challenge Big E Langston for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Both of these Superstars are former Intercontinental Champions and would love another chance to hold the gold.

Christian versus Mark Henry

Two former World Heavyweight Champions will go head to head tonight as Christian will take on Mark Henry. This match was made official by the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T after Christian called Mark Henry pathetic for making romantic advances towards Eve Torres, who would then the next week leave to compete in front of the NXT Universe on NXT.

WWE Divas Championship: AJ Lee © versus Kaitlyn

Finally, AJ Lee will once again put her WWE Divas Championship on the line tonight against the former Champion Kaitlyn. AJ will likely have her associate Tamina in her corner for this one in a match that should see the WWE Universe firmly behind Kaitlyn.

WWE Championship: Randy Orton © versus CM Punk

World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena © versus Dolph Ziggler

WWE Championship MITB: US Champ Ambrose vs. Bryan vs. RVD vs. Batista vs. Cesaro vs. Ohno

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Batista

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the new WWE Champion CM Punk in non-title action against Batista. Last night at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View the WWE Universe witnessed CM Punk becoming the new WWE Champion once again as he defeated the former WWE Champion Randy Orton in the evening’s main event. However, despite the pair competing in a match of the year candidate match last night which had a big fight feel as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T introduced the “Hardcore Legend” as the main event’s guest ring announcer, Punk’s win didn’t come without controversy. Earlier in the evening another of Paul Heyman’s clients, the “Beast” Brock Lesnar attacked Randy Orton backstage, throwing Orton head first through a television monitor. It is therefore almost a certainty that Orton wasn’t at 100% heading into the main event. Tonight on RAW the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has wasted little time in putting Punk in a match against a former WWE Champion Batista, with the “Animal” knowing that an all-important non-title win tonight could well propel himself into the title picture.

WWE United States Championship: Dean Ambrose © versus Rob Van Dam versus Sheamus

The WWE United States Championship will also be on the line tonight as Dean Ambrose will put his title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Rob Van Dam and Sheamus. The WWE Universe should be treated to a great match tonight whatever the result but Ambrose may be angry at the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero putting him in a match where he can lose his title without being pinned.

Alexander Rusev and Marcus Owens versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the team of Alexander Rusev and Marcus Owens take on the former WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal. Reigns and Regal impressed many members of the WWE Universe last night with a victory over Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio on the Money in the Bank pre-show live on WWE.com and another win tonight could see them get a future title opportunity.

Randy Orton versus Bray Wyatt

Despite him being less than 100% after the attack at the hands of Brock Lesnar last night, the WWE Universe will still get the opportunity to witness Randy Orton in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Bray Wyatt.

Chris Jericho versus Antonio Cesaro

Antonio Cesaro as well as his Kings of Wrestling tag team partner Kassius Ohno failed to win the WWE Championship Money in the Bank ladder match last night as Daniel Bryan was victorious but Cesaro will get the opportunity to bounce back tonight on Monday Night RAW when he takes on Chris Jericho.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Audrey Marie

Finally, the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as she will face Audrey Marie in a non-title match. Last night at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View AJ once again defeated Kaitlyn to retain her title.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Batista

WWE United States Championship: Dean Ambrose © versus Rob Van Dam versus Sheamus

Alexander Rusev and Marcus Owens versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

Randy Orton versus Bray Wyatt

Chris Jericho versus Antonio Cesaro

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Audrey Marie

<strong>Pre-Show: Naomi versus Raquel Diaz</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Naomi defeated Raquel Diaz in 17:38 by pinfall with a Nightmare. Naomi was visibly tiring towards the end of this Divas match that went the distance as the former Funkadaktyll took on the daughter of both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz. Despite her inferior physical conditioning, however, Naomi was still able to pick up the all-important victory in this one.</p><p>

<strong>Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus The Wyatt Family</strong></p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Monday Night RAW kicks off with the new WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to ringside to a chorus of joos and jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance. CM Punk takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that perhaps the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero is unhappy about the way he won the WWE Championship from Randy Orton last night at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View after Brock Lesnar, another of Paul Heyman’s clients, threw Orton head first through a television monitor earlier in the evening. However, continues Punk, both he and Mr. Heyman have been telling everyone who would listen in the last month or so that Randy Orton didn’t deserve to ever be the WWE Champion in the first place after he was banned from Friday Night SmackDown earlier this year by the SmackDown General Manager Booker T for failing to stop getting into physical confrontations. Punk says that perhaps he’s being punished in tonight’s non-title main event by having to face another freaked up muscle-head in Batista but that Punk will beat Batista and prove once again to everyone that watches that he is the best in the world, in this ring and on this microphone. Punk then introduces his good friend and associate, Brock Lesnar, to the ring. Punk and Lesnar shake hands before Lesnar says that the next person who tries to upset their alliance had better be ready for the “Beast” that awaits them.</em></p><p>

<strong>Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Audrey Marie</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, AJ Lee defeated Audrey Marie in 7:25 by pinfall with a Shining Wizard. Tamina accompanied her associate AJ Lee to ringside for this match and offered vocal support throughout.</p><p>

<strong>Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alexander Rusev and Marcus Owens versus Roman Reigns and William Regal</strong></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Reigns & Regal defeated Rusev & Owens in 6:53 when Roman Reigns defeated Marcus Owens by pinfall with a Spear. The former Funkadaktyll Cameron came to the ringside area for this match, accompanying Rusev and Owens. Cameron offered vocal support and cheerleading throughout the match but that wasn’t enough to lead Rusev and Owens to victory here.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Daniel Bryan, the winner of last night’s WWE Championship Money in the Bank ladder match, comes to the ring holding his briefcase. Bryan says that he is a man of honour and is officially announcing that he is cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Summerslam.</em></p><p>

<strong>WWE NXT (Live from the Kingsport Civic Auditorium (TN), 1,000 in Attendance)</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>We kick off tonight’s edition of WWE NXT with the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcoming the television audience to tonight’s show. Dusty Rhodes is of course the sole announcer on NXT following William Regal and Byron Saxton being called up to compete in front of the WWE Universe on the main WWE roster earlier this year. The NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena then comes to its feet as the NXT Champion Justin Gabriel makes his way to the ring. Once in the ring Gabriel retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that he is very proud to represent NXT as the NXT Champion and has proved already that he is to be a fighting Champion as he has already made two successful title defences since beating the former NXT Champion Seth Rollins back in May to become just the second ever NXT Champion. Gabriel reminds the NXT Universe that his first title defence came against Curt Hawkins last month and that just last week on NXT Justin Gabriel defeated Viktor to once again retain the title. Gabriel says that he is hoping to rejuvenate his career on NXT and prove to both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T that he has what it takes to compete at the highest level. Justin Gabriel says that it’s no secret that he’s a Thrill Seeker and wants to entertain everybody with his high impact, high risk style. Gabriel is then interrupted by another former WWE Tag Team Champion in Curt Hawkins. The arrogant heel Curt Hawkins swaggers to the ring before getting a microphone of his own from ringside. Curt Hawkins tells Gabriel that their respective careers have almost mirrored one another, with both coming to prominence as a part of a group, with Gabriel in the Nexus and Hawkins as part of the Rated R Entourage, and that both men also went on to become WWE Tag Team Champions before failing to achieve any real singles success in the WWE. Curt Hawkins tells Gabriel that he is not the only one looking to rejuvenate his career in NXT, and that in tonight’s tag team main event Curt Hawkins will lead his team of Hawkins and Bo Dallas to victory over Drake Younger and Percy Watson and prove that he deserves another shot at the NXT Championship. Gabriel reminds Hawkins that the last time they met with the title on the line Gabriel was victorious, but Hawkins responds by reminding Gabriel that he has two tag team victories over Gabriel in the last few months alone, with the most recent coming four weeks ago when Hawkins and his partner tonight, Bo Dallas, defeated Gabriel and Drake Younger. Justin Gabriel tells Curt Hawkins that as he won’t be competing himself tonight on NXT he will have time to sit back and watch the evening’s tag team main even and see if Hawkins is able to get the win that could potentially earn him an opportunity at the NXT Championship. NXT then cuts our first commercial break of the evening with Gabriel and Hawkins staring down one another in the centre of the ring.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Alexa Bliss versus Rain</strong></p><p>

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rain defeated Alexa Bliss 7:38 by pinfall with a DDT. We return from our first commercial break of the evening and the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes introduces the television audience back to NXT for our first match of the evening, a Divas contest. Alexa Bliss then makes her way to the ring to a decent response from the NXT Universe in attendance followed by Rain. This is a competitive match with both Divas doing all they can to impress WWE management such as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T who regularly watch NXT looking for the next break out star. Rain picks up the all-important victory in this one.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: E</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Following another commercial break the NXT Commissioner and WWE Hall of Famer the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes welcomes the television audience back to NXT and the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly then makes her way to the ring to a tremendous reception from the NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena. Kelly takes a microphone and says that in just a few minutes we will witness the debut of the NXT Women’s Championship and will see Bayley face Eve Torres for the vacant title to determine the first ever NXT Women’s Champion. Kelly then goes outside the ring and unveils the title, and holds the title in her hands. Kelly says that she is holding this title as a symbol that one day it will eventually be hers, and that she is disappointed that she is not involved in tonight’s match to determine the first ever Champion given that she has years of experience competing in front of the WWE Universe. Paige then comes to the ring and tells Kelly that NXT isn’t about living off of your past glories, and that she was born to hold the NXT Women’s Championship.</em></p><p>
