WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Hytche Athletic Center (MD), 5,500 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Bayley versus Layla

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Bayley defeated Layla in 17:52 by submission. WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat accompanied newcomer Bayley to ringside for this match and the “Dragon” offered plenty of vocal support from the ringside area towards Bayley in this Divas match that went the distance. Ultimately, the support of Ricky Steamboat may have been what led to Bayley picking up the all-important victory in this match after she made the former Divas Champion Layla tap out.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus Primo and Epico

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Primo & Epico defeated Mysterio & Cara in 18:15 when Primo defeated Sin Cara by pinfall with a Backstabber. Primo was really off his game tonight in this match which led to Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara working over Primo for the majority of the match until Primo was able to tag in Epico who brought the match back into his team’s favour before tagging Primo back in to pin Sin Cara to pick up the win for Primo and Epico.

Tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show making his way to the ring. Big Show retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and receives a warm welcome from the WWE Universe in attendance. Big Show says that whilst John Cena has fled to cuddle up to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Big Show is pleased to be under the jurisdiction of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Big Show says that he agrees with Booker’s decision to award Mark Henry another title shot at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View later this month and looks forward to squaring off with Mark Henry with his World title on the line. However, Big Show says that whilst everybody likes to party with the Divas, Mark Henry may be taking his infatuation with Aksana a little too far. Big Show also says that he is looking forward to tonight’s non-title Champion versus Champion main event when he will take on the new WWE Intercontinental Champion the Miz. Big Show says that the Miz has a big mouth and he better be able to back it up in the ring tonight or he is going to get knocked out. Divas Bayley and Natalya then make their way to the ring and flirt with Big Show, admiring his physique and wishing him luck in tonight’s main event.

Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contenders Match: Big E Langston versus Damien Sandow

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big E Langston defeated Damien Sandow in 7:37 by pinfall with a Big Ending. The commentary team note that Big E will now challenge the Miz for the Intercontinental title at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<strong>Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Seth Rollins</strong></p><p>

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Champion CM Punk take on Seth Rollins. CM Punk seems to be very much on his own now after no longer wanting the services of Paul Heyman and in turn having made enemies of Paul Heyman’s client Brock Lesnar. However, the WWE Universe have warmed to Punk in recent weeks and will likely be in support of Punk in tonight’s main event as well as at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View later this month when Punk will put his WWE title on the line in a Hell in a Cell match against John Cena. After talking trash about the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero for months, Cena has now changed his tune in support of Vickie and has made no bones in recent weeks of being critical about the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T. Both Punk as well as Rollins will be looking to pick up the all-important victory here tonight, with Rollins looking to impress both Vickie Guerrero as well as her daughter Raquel Diaz, who he seems to have a vested romantic interest in.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Roman Reigns and William Regal</strong></p><p>

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the team of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima, who last week competed under the name “International Explosion”, in tag team action again as they will take on the team of Roman Reigns and William Regal. Despite failing to win the WWE Tag Team Championships at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, Reigns and Regal continue to impress the WWE Universe with their performances.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Sheamus versus Batista</strong></p><p>

The “Animal” Batista will return to action tonight on Monday Night RAW when he will take on the WWE United States Champion Sheamus in a non-title match. Following a loss to Dean Ambrose, Batista, according to Ambrose “took his ball and went home” but Batista is back tonight and will look to get back on track.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dean Ambrose versus Randy Orton</strong></p><p>

Last week on Monday Night RAW Randy Orton hit Dean Ambrose with an RKO and Ambrose will look to get revenge tonight as he faces Orton one on one. The WWE Universe will likely side with Ambrose in this one after Orton’s actions as of late.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kane versus Chavo Guerrero</strong></p><p>

The former WWE Champion Kane will take on Chavo Guerrero tonight on Monday Night RAW. Chavo, the nephew of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, will be hoping to impress his aunt with a win.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Kharma</strong></p><p>

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee take on Kharma in a non-title match. AJ will want to know who her next challenger for her title will be soon, and a win for Kharma tonight could well put her in line for a title shot.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Pre-Show: Nikki Bella versus Beth Phoenix

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Nikki Bella defeated Beth Phoenix in 18:29 by pinfall with a Twin Magic. The assistant to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Brad Maddox, accompanied Beth Phoenix to ringside for this match. Despite being in a position of authority, Brad Maddox clearly showed bias in this match as he offered vocal support torwards Beth. However, Nikki was still able to pick up the all-important victory here after the referee was distracted and Nikki’s sister Brie switched places with her before rolling up Beth for the win.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus Kings of Wrestling

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the Number One Contender to the WWE Championship John Cena making his way to the ring to a largely negative reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Cena retrieves a microphone from the ringside area before proclaiming that his year has had a lot of ups and downs, from winning the Royal Rumble match to failing to win the WWE title at Wrestlemania and disagreements with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, which are now resolved, to winning the World title and being subjected to a travesty as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T allowed Big Show to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Cena says that things are right in the world now, and he has a great working relationship with Vickie Guerrero and that later this month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View he will defeat CM Punk to become the new WWE Champion in their Hell in a Cell match. Cena says that he has the night off from in-ring competition tonight but will settle down later to watch CM Punk face Seth Rollins in the evening’s non-title main event. Seth Rollins then comes to the ring and announces that he will face Rob Van Dam again at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View, and that RVD should watch what Rollins does to the WWE Champion in tonight’s main event.

Rating: C+

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Kharma

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, AJ Lee defeated Kharma in 7:08 by pinfall with a Shining Wizard. AJ Lee was really off her game tonight but was still able to defeat Kharma here.

Rating: E

Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Reigns & Regal defeated International Explosion in 6:56 when Roman Reigns defeated Fatsuhiko Nakajima by submission. The Godfather accompanied the team of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima, introduced as “International Explosion”, to ringside, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. However, it was still Reigns and Regal who got the win here.

Match Rating: D

We cut backstage to find the WWE Champion CM Punk preparing for tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event against Seth Rollins when Rob Van Dam walks into the room and wishes Punk luck tonight.

Rating: C+

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Sheamus versus Batista

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Sheamus defeated Batista in 7:33 by pinfall with a Brogue Kick. Renee Young accompanied Batista to the ring for his return match tonight but it was Sheamus who got the victory.

Match Rating: C-

Following his victory Sheamus looks as though he is going to hit Batista with another Brogue Kick as Renee Young can barely watch at ringside until Santino Marella comes to the ring to make the save, which allows Renee to help Batista to the back.

Rating: C-

Dean Ambrose versus Randy Orton

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Randy Orton defeated Dean Ambrose in 8:30 by pinfall with an RKO. Dean Ambrose really needs a change in character desperately, with the WWE Universe a little bored with Ambrose.

Match Rating: C

Following his victory Randy Orton looks as though he is going to attack Dean Ambrose until Chris Jericho makes his way to the ring. Orton then turns his attention to Jericho and chases him all the way to the back.

Rating: B-

Kane versus Chavo Guerrero

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kane defeated Chavo Guerrero in 7:28 by pinfall with a Chokeslam. Michael Cole notes that Chavo didn’t look too bad in defeat here whilst Lawler argues that Vickie will not be happy with her nephew for losing.

Match Rating: B

Post-Show: Evan Bourne versus Troy McClain

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Evan Bourne defeated Troy McClain in 12:50 by pinfall with a Here It Is Driver. This match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved.

Match Rating: E-

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Brodus Clay versus David Otunga

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see the “Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay in action as he will take on the only Harvard Law School graduate in the WWE, David Otunga. We have seen in recent weeks on Monday Night RAW cracks beginning to form in the relationship of tag team partners Brodus Clay and Alex Riley with Clay telling Riley on several occasions that he feels it’s maybe time that they call it a day as a tag team, and tonight Clay will look to see how he fares in singles competition.

Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Hunico and Camacho

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will witness tag team action as the team of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima, being introduced recently on Monday Night RAW as “International Explosion”, will take on the Hispanic duo of Hunico and Camacho. The WWE Universe in attendance will likely be hoping for an appearance by WWE Legend the Godfather during this match who accompanied Zayn and Nakajima to the ring this past week on RAW.

Kelly Kelly versus Christina Von Eerie

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the beautiful former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly take on Christina Von Eerie. Both of these Divas will be looking to pick up the all-important victory to potentially move into the Divas title picture.

Quick Picks:

Brodus Clay versus David Otunga

Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Hunico and Camacho

WWE Superstars (Live from Du Burns Arena (MD), 650 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Emma versus Tamina

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Emma defeated Tamina in 18:16 by pinfall with a Roaring Elbow. Emma was exhausted by the end of this match that went the distance with the bubbly Australian Diva Emma clearly having inferior physical conditioning to the more experienced Tamina, the daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka. Despite being exhausted, however, Emma was still able to pick up the all-important victory here after hitting Tamina with a huge elbow to the skull.

Match Rating: E-

(Eugene thinks that Emma needs to be booked a little smarter and that she needs shorter matches as she was totally exposed by the length of this one.)

Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev and Marcus Owens versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rusev & Owens defeated Jordan & Dillinger in 18:27 when Alexander Rusev defeated Tye Dillinger by pinfall with a Big Splash. The former Funkadactyll Cameron accompanied the team of Rusev and Owens to ringside for this match and offered cheerleading as well as vocal support which may have been what led to Rusev and Ownes to getting the win.

Match Rating: F

Pre-Show: Uncle Elgin versus Calvin Raines

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Uncle Elgin defeated Calvin Raines in 18:11 by pinfall with a Sitout Powerbomb. Uncle Elgin was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to get the win.

Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Hunico and Camacho

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, International Explosion defeated Hunico & Camacho in 7:01 when Sami Zayn defeated Hunico by pinfall with a Red White & Blue Thunder Bomb. WWE Legend the Godfather once again accompanied the team of Zayn and Nakajima, known as International Explosion, to ringside for this match, just as he did this past week on Monday Night RAW, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance.

Match Rating: E+

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. The show began with John Cena making his way to the ring to a largely negative reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Cena retrieved a microphone from the ringside area and spoke about his mixed year, with highs such as winning the World title a few months ago and winning the Royal Rumble match back in January to lows such as failing to beat CM Punk for the WWE Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T allowing Big Show to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase a few weeks ago. Cena went on to say that things are looking up now that he has a good business relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and that he looks forward to challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View later this month. Cena also said that he was pleased to have the night off from in-ring competition on RAW whilst CM Punk would take on Seth Rollins in the evening’s non-title main event. Seth Rollins then joined Cena in the ring and announced that he will take on Rob Van Dam again at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View and urged RVD to watch what he would do to the WWE Champion in the evening’s main event.

Rating: C+

Kelly Kelly versus Christina Von Eerie

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Kelly Kelly defeated Christina Von Eerie in 5:55 by pinfall with a K2. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker note that both of these Divas would love a future opportunity to challenge for the Divas Championship.

Match Rating: E

Following another commercial break WWE Superstars airs more highlights from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW including a backstage segment where the WWE Champion CM Punk was preparing for the evening’s non-title main event against Seth Rollins when Rob Van Dam walked over to Punk and wished him luck in the main event. Prior to the main event we saw Seth Rollins flirting with the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz, and in the evening’s main event the WWE Champion CM Punk took on Seth Rollins in a match that saw the WWE Universe firmly behind CM Punk, who picked up the victory.

Rating: C+

We see highlights from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show coming to the ring and telling the WWE Universe that unlike John Cena who has ran off to hide behind the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Big Show is pleased to be under the jurisdiction of Booker T, the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager. Bayley and Natalya then came to the ring to flirt with Big Show. Also on SmackDown Summer Rae lost to Paige and Paige looked to attack Summer after the match when Kelly Kelly made the save. A tweet is then shown from Booker T announcing that tomorrow night’s main event will see Big Show take on Damien Sandow in a non-title match.

Rating: C-

Brodus Clay versus David Otunga

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, David Otunga defeated Brodus Clay in 13:06 by pinfall with a Verdict. Clay and Otunga have great chemistry as opponents and it showed in their performances.

Friday, Week 2, October, 2013

http://nsa35.casimages.com/img/2013/09/07/130907064055358234.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Big Show versus Damien Sandow

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show take on Damien Sandow in a non-title match. Big Show has publically praised the performance of the General Manager Booker T in recent weeks, telling the WWE Universe that he is pleased to be under the jurisdiction of Booker T whilst John Cena has run to hide behind the skirt of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and has been heavily critical of Booker T. Big Show also claimed that he agrees with Booker T’s decision to award Mark Henry a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View later this month. Last week on SmackDown Big Show said that Mark Henry was too distracted by his infatuation with Aksana, whilst Big Show himself was happy to indulge in a little flirting with Divas Natalya and Bayley. An all-important victory for Sandow tonight could earn him a shot at the World Championship somewhere down the line.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown we will witness tag team action as the team of Jimmy and Jey Uso, the WWE Tag Team Champions, will take on Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger in non-title action. The WWE Universe will likely be fully behind Jimmy and Jey tonight but a victory for Jordan and Dillinger could well gain the attentions of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and earn them a future Championship opportunity.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Rey Mysterio

At the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View later this month the Miz will put the WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line against Big E Langston but before then the Miz will take on Rey Mysterio in non-title action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.

Big E Langston versus Rene Dupree

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown Big E Langston defeated Damien Sandow in a Number One Contenders match and will challenge the Miz for the Intercontinental title at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View but before that Big E will take on Rene Dupree tonight.

Cody Rhodes versus Bo Dallas

Cody Rhodes has been mainly competing in singles competition as of late and last week on Friday Night SmackDown hit a bump in the road as he lost to Dolph Ziggler. Cody will be hoping to bounce back with a win over Bo Dallas tonight.

Bayley versus Paige

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the former Divas Champion Paige take on Bayley. Paige has not yet received her rematch for the Divas Championship and will surely be looking to challenge AJ Lee again soon.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Big Show versus Damien Sandow

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Rey Mysterio

Big E Langston versus Rene Dupree

Cody Rhodes versus Bo Dallas

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Edith Kanaka’ole Stadium (HI), 5,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Natalya versus Alicia Fox

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Natalya defeated Alicia Fox in 18:30 by submission with a Sharpshooter. Unfortunately this Divas match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved; despite two former WWE Divas Champions facing one another the WWE Universe were not really interested, despite both Natalya and Alicia Fox making several appearances on Friday Night SmackDown in recent months. It was Natalya that picked up the all-important victory here after forcing Alicia to tap out to the Sharpshooter.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu versus Primo and Epico

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Primo & Epico defeated Trent & Yoshi in 18:24 when Primo defeated Trent Barreta by pinfall with a Backstabber. This match was also too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe not really caring about the team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu despite them teaming up for almost a year now and making several appearances on Friday Night SmackDown. It was the former WWE Tag Team Champions Primo and Epico that got the win here.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion CM Punk and Rob Van Dam versus John Cena and Seth Rollins

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see tag team action as the WWE Champion CM Punk will team up with “Mr. Monday Night” Rob Van Dam to take on the team of John Cena and Seth Rollins. The WWE Universe in attendance tonight should be fully behind Punk and RVD as both Punk and Cena look to pick up the all-important victory over one another, albeit in tag team action, heading into their Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Championship later this month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. Cena has shown a new attitude as of late, being highly critical of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T whilst seemingly restoring a positive business relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Cena had the night off from in-ring competition last week whilst Punk took on Seth Rollins in the main event. Seth Rollins and RVD will also be in the ring with one another tonight before their match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.

Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the former WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal in action as they will take on the team named “International Explosion”, Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima. Reigns and Regal have continued to impress with victories since failing to win the WWE Tag Team Championships from Jimmy and Jey Uso at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Sheamus versus Kane

Two heavyweights will square off tonight on Monday Night RAW as the United States Champion Sheamus will take on Kane in a non-title match just a few weeks before Sheamus puts his US title on the line against Santino Marella at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.

Chris Jericho versus Corey Graves

Finally, Divas action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee take on Raquel Diaz, the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, in a non-title match.

Pre-Show: Cameron versus Mia Yim

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Cameron defeated Mia Yim in 17:44 by pinfall with a Split Legged Leg Drop. Unfortunately a pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Cameron wrestle in this Divas match that went the distance. It appears that large sections of the WWE Universe do still not want to see Cameron compete despite her making multiple appearances on Monday Night RAW over the past few years. Despite the crowd being on her back, Cameron was still able to pick up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: Santino Marella and Zack Ryder versus Kings of Wrestling

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Team CoBro defeated Kings of Wrestling in 18:02 when Santino Marella defeated Kassius Ohno by pinfall with a Cobra. Antonio Cesaro seemed off his game tonight which led to the “Team CoBro” pairing of Santino Marella and Zack Ryder working over Cesaro for the majority of the match until Cesaro was finally able to get the tag to Ohno only for Santino to hit Ohno with the Cobra to get the win for his team.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Batista versus Jack Swagger

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Jack Swagger defeated Batista in 18:08 by submission with a Patriot Lock. Batista was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to Swagger getting the win.

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the Number One Contender to the WWE Championship, John Cena, making his way to the ring, to a largely negative reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Cena retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that despite being on great terms with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and being about to challenge CM Punk for the WWE Championship in a Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View later this month, it is still hard for Cena to be happy knowing that the irresponsible and inefficient Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T is still in a job. Cena says that he will never forgive Booker T for allowing Big Show to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase against Cena and will not rest until Booker T is no longer employed by the WWE. Seth Rollins then joins Cena in the ring and tells Cena that they need to focus on tonight’s tag team main event when they will team up to take on the team of CM Punk and Rob Van Dam. Rollins says that he wants to show RVD tonight just the sort of beating that he will give him in a few short weeks at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. Rollins also tells Cena that should Cena win the WWE title at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View, Rollins will be waiting for a title shot.

Rating: C+

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, AJ Lee defeated Raquel Diaz in 6:36 by pinfall with a Shining Wizard. Raquel Diaz, the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, seemed off her game tonight.

The Godfather accompanied the “International Explosion” team of Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima to the ring, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance, but despite the Godfather’s presence at ringside it was Reigns and Regal that got the victory.

Match Rating: D

We cut backstage to find the WWE Champion CM Punk and Rob Van Dam discussing tactics prior to tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event when they will team up to face John Cena and Seth Rollins.

Rating: B-

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Sheamus versus Kane

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Sheamus defeated Kane in 8:11 by pinfall with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus and Kane have great chemistry as opponents and it showed in their performances here.

Match Rating: C+

Following the match Sheamus looks as though he is going to hit Kane with another Brogue Kick when Santino Marella rushes to the ring to make the save. Kane limps to the back as Santino stares down his opponent at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View, Sheamus.

Rating: D+

Dean Ambrose versus Jinder Mahal

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Dean Ambrose defeated Jinder Mahal in 6:38 by pinfall with a Running Front Dropkick. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler note that the WWE Universe were fully behind Ambrose here.

Match Rating: D+

(Finlay would seriously consider either turning Dean Ambrose or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

Following his victory Dean Ambrose celebrates in front of the WWE Universe until Brock Lesnar rushes to the ring. Lesnar charges at Ambrose but Ambrose pulls the top rope down causing Lesnar to tumble out of the ring. Lesnar then grabs a microphone and challenges Ambrose to a match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View, which Ambrose accepts.

Rating: C-

Chris Jericho versus Corey Graves

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Jericho defeated Corey Graves in 6:55 by submission with a Walls of Jericho. The commentary team note that this is a good win for Jericho.

Rating: B-

WWE Champion CM Punk and Rob Van Dam versus John Cena and Seth Rollins

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, CM Punk and Rob Van Dam defeated John Cena and Seth Rollins in 12:41 when CM Punk defeated John Cena by pinfall with a Go To Sleep. Michael Cole notes that Seth Rollins looks comfortable being in the ring with three bona-fide main eventers and former World Champions whilst Lawler says that Punk’s pinfall over Cena tonight is a huge psychological edge heading into their Hell in a Cell match.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Brodus Clay versus David Otunga

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will see the only Harvard Law School Graduate in the WWE, David Otunga, in action as he will take on Brodus Clay. The WWE Universe has witnessed Brodus Clay have disagreements with his tag team partner Alex Riley in recent weeks backstage on Monday Night RAW, and tonight Brodus Clay will look to focus on picking up the all-important victory in singles competition and possibly gain the attention of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Hunico and Camacho

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will witness tag team action as the team dubbed “International Explosion”, Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima, will be in action against the Hispanic duo of Hunico and Camacho. The WWE Universe in attendance will likely be hoping that the Godfather will accompany Zayn and Nakajima to ringside for this match just as he did this past week on Monday Night RAW.

WWE Superstars (Live from Afook-Chinen Auditorium (HI), 1,000 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Emma versus Hailey Hatred

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Emma defeated Hailey Hatred in 17:46 by pinfall with a Roaring Elbow. Emma was exhausted by the end of this Divas match that went the distance as she took on newcomer Hailey Hatred. Perhaps due to her easier schedule competing for the past six months or so on NXT, Hailey Hatred had the superior physical conditioning in this match. However, despite being exhausted, Emma was still able to pick up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E-

(Road Dogg thinks that Emma needs to be booked a little smarter and that she needs shorter matches as she was totally exposed by the length of this one.)

Pre-Show: Alexander Rusev and Marcus Owens versus Prime Time Players

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rusev & Owens defeated Prime Time Players in 18:27 when Alexander Rusev defeated Darren Young by pinfall with a Big Splash. Once in the ring Cena retrieved a microphone from the ringside area and proclaimed that although he is pleased to have a great business relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and is happy to be challenging CM Punk for the WWE Championship inside the Hell in a Cell at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View in just a few weeks, he will not feel totally comfortable until the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T is out of a job, and that Cena will never forgive Booker T for allowing Big Show to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase against Cena to win the World Heavyweight Championship at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Seth Rollins then joined Cena in the ring and told Cena to focus on RAW’s tag team main event when Cena and Rollins would team up to take on the team of CM Punk and Rob Van Dam. Rollins told Cena that he would show RVD just how dangerous he is in the ring before their match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View and that Cena should pay attention because after the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View Rollins will be waiting for a shot at the WWE Championship.

Rating: C+

Match Rating: E

Following another commercial break further highlights of this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW are shown including the WWE Champion CM Punk and Rob Van Dam being seen backstage discussing tactics prior to their tag team main event against John Cena and Seth Rollins. In the evening’s main event the WWE Universe were firmly behind the team of CM Punk and Rob Van Dam, with the WWE Universe giving Cena more negative reactions every week following Cena firmly aligning himself with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Punk and RVD won the main event building momentum for Punk heading into his title defence against Cena in a Hell in a Cell match at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.

Rating: B-

We see highlights from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown as the show began with the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show making his way to the ring to a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance, Big Show would then be the subject of flirtation from Summer Rae and Rosa Mendes. Also on SmackDown Paige defeated Bayley and was going to attack Bayley after the match until Kelly Kelly came to the ring to make the save and in the evening’s main event Big Show beat Damien Sandow. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

World Heavyweight Champion Big Show & Big E vs. Intercontinental Champion Miz & Mark Henry

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T and will see the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show team up with Big E Langston to take on the team of the WWE Intercontinental Champion the Miz and his partner, Mark Henry. Later this month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View Mark Henry will challenge Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship and both Big Show and Mark Henry have the opportunity to build momentum heading into their title match if they are able to pick up the all-important victory in tag team action tonight. In recent weeks Big Show has publically defended Booker T in front of the WWE Universe after John Cena defected to make amends with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, and since then Cena has criticized Booker T at every opportunity. Also at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-view later this month Big E will challenge the Miz for the Intercontinental title.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions The Uso’s versus Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger

The WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will once again take on the team of Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger in a non-title match. The Uso’s, ever popular with the WWE Universe, will likely be soon looking for confirmation from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero or the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T as to who the next contenders to their titles are.

Cody Rhodes versus Damien Sandow

At the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View later this month Cody Rhodes will take on Dolph Ziggler with the winner becoming the new Number One Contender to the Intercontinental Championship but before then Rhodes will face Damien Sandow tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.

Rey Mysterio versus Fandango

The former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Fandango. The WWE Universe in attendance should be fully behind Rey in this one.

R-Truth versus Alberto Del Rio

R-Truth, the assistant to the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T, will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Alberto Del Rio. Both Superstars will be looking to impress the WWE Universe with victory here.

Pre-Show: Bayley versus Christina Von Eerie

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Bayley defeated Christina Von Eerie in 17:49 by pinfall. WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat accompanied Bayley to ringside for this Divas match that went the distance against Christina Von Eerie. Ricky Steamboat offered vocal support from ringside throughout the match which certainly looked to spur Bayley on and motivate her and that may have been what led to Bayley picking up the all-important victory here.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Prime Time Players defeated Trent & Yoshi in 17:39 when Titus O'Neil defeated Trent Barreta by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe still not caring about the tag team of Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu despite them teaming up for over a year now and making several appearances on both Friday Night SmackDown as well as WWE Superstars. The Prime Time Players get the win in this one.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Christian versus Curtis Axel

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show making his way to the ring to a tremendous ovation from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Big Show retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that first he has to address John Cena’s comments from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Cena said on RAW that despite now having a good business relationship with the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and being the Number One Contender to the WWE Championship, Cena will still not feel happy until the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T is out of a job. Big Show says that it was him that cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to beat John Cena and win the World title, not Booker T, and that Cena should stop blaming Booker T for it. Big Show then goes on to discuss his upcoming title defence against Mark Henry at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. Big Show says that both he and Mark Henry love Divas, but the difference is Big Show is not distracted by them and not infatuated with one of them, like Mark Henry is with Aksana. Big Show says that he looks forward to seeing Mark Henry in tonight’s main event when Big Show teams with Big E Langston to take on Mark Henry and the Intercontinental Champion the Miz. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Antonio Cesaro

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Champion CM Punk in action as he will take on Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match. Antonio Cesaro, one half of the Kings of Wrestling, may well have his tag team partner Kassius Ohno as well as their manager Zeb Colter cheering him on from ringside in tonight’s main event as he looks to pick up the all-important victory, albeit in non-title action, against the WWE Champion CM Punk. Despite Antonio Cesaro having plenty of support potentially lurking at ringside, however, the WWE Universe will be fully behind CM Punk tonight as he looks to build momentum heading into his title defence against John Cena in a Hell in a Cell match this Sunday at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. Cena has been given the night off from in-ring competition by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero but after being heavily critical of the now former Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Booker T in recent weeks, Cena will likely be watching tonight’s RAW main event with a smile on his face after Booker T resigned from his position this past week on SmackDown.

Batista and Evan Bourne versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the team of Batista and Evan Bourne, teaming up for the very first time tonight; take on the former WWE Tag Team Champions Roman Reigns and William Regal. After Jimmy and Jey Uso, the WWE Tag Team Champions, won yet another non-title match this past week on Friday Night SmackDown a win for either of these teams tonight could well put them in line for a future title opportunity.

Non-Title: WWE United States Champion Sheamus versus Kane

The WWE United States Champion Sheamus will take on Kane tonight on Monday Night RAW in a non-title match just six days before Sheamus puts his title on the line against Santino Marella at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.

Zack Ryder versus Randy Orton

The former WWE Champion Randy Orton will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Zack Ryder. Orton has had problems with Chris Jericho in recent weeks and just last week on RAW dropped Y2J with an RKO.

Rob Van Dam versus Bray Wyatt

This Sunday at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View Rob Van Dam will once again take on Seth Rollins but before that RVD must face the dark and mysterious Bray Wyatt tonight on Monday Night RAW. The WWE Universe will likely be fully behind RVD in this one.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee versus Mia Yim

Finally, the WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee will take on Mia Yim in a non-title match tonight on Monday Night RAW. This past week on Friday Night SmackDown Paige announced that she will challenge AJ for the Divas title this Sunday at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.
