The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

The Great Khali and Colt Cabana versus The Miz and Damien Sandow

The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE Superstars will feature tag team action as the team known by the WWE Universe as the “Great Cabana”, the Great Khali and Colt Cabana, will once again team up as they will take on the former WWE Tag Team Champions the Miz and Damien Sandow, collectively known as “MizDow”. Damien Sandow was in action this past Sunday at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View in a losing effort against Big E Langston; whilst the Miz defeated Rey Mysterio on the Over the Limit pre-show streamed live on WWE.com. Both of these teams will be looking to do all they can to pick up the all-important victory tonight.

Mark Henry versus CJ Parker

The “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry will be in action tonight on WWE Superstars as he will take on CJ Parker in singles competition. CJ Parker is a Hippy by nature but his love of nature was unable to defeat Mark Henry the last time these two Superstars faced one another last month on Friday Night SmackDown. Will CJ Parker be any luckier the second time around?

Evie versus Raquel Diaz

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the relative newcomer to the WWE, the Australian Diva Evie take on the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz.

WWE Superstars (Live from Table Mountain Casino (CA), 1,189 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Mia Yim versus Madison Eagles

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Madison Eagles defeated Mia Yim in 18:15 by pinfall with a Hell Bound. Madison Eagles made her WWE debut in this pre-show Divas match that went the distance. Madison Eagles came across as a big of an Egomaniac throughout the match, clearing feeling that she’s beneath competing on the pre-show. Despite a valiant effort from Mia Yim in this one, Madison Eagles ultimately picks up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: E+

(Billy Kidman would seriously consider either turning Mia Yim or trying a new gimmick, as she has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Danny Burch and Troy McClain

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Burch & McClain defeated Brodus & Riley in 18:16 when Danny Burch defeated Brodus Clay by pinfall with a Double DDT. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and John “Bradshaw” Layfield took up their positions at ringside prior to this tag team match taking place which saw Burch and McClain pick up the upset win.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Marcus Owens versus Dolph Ziggler

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Dolph Ziggler defeated Marcus Owens in 18:24 by submission with a Sleeper. Marcus Owens was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to Ziggler locking in the Sleeper hold to get the submission victory.

Match Rating: C-

Mark Henry versus CJ Parker

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Mark Henry defeated CJ Parker in 8:02 by pinfall with a Big Splash. The WWE Superstars commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and John “Bradshaw” Layfield all agree that the former World Champion Mark Henry still has a part to play and that the WWE Universe still see him as a threat.

Match Rating: D

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs the RAW Rebound which recaps events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. This week’s show began with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring with his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn by his client’s side. Lesnar was quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area and addressed the WWE Universe. Lesnar said that he has something to say and that he would do his own talking, and that after he defeated Roman Reigns at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View to retain his World title once again, Paul Heyman and his Shield trio of Reigns, William Regal and Seth Rollins could keep coming at Lesnar and he would keep knocking them down. Lesnar then demanded to know from the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero who his next challenger would be. Seth Rollins then came to the entrance-way and said that he didn’t know who Lesnar’s next challenger for the World title would be but that he would beat Brock in RAW’s non-title main event. Later on in the evening we witnessed tag team action as the Shield duo of Roman Reigns and William Regal defeated Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat and after the match it appeared as though Reigns and Regal wanted to inflict more punishment on Woods and Steamboat until WWE officials came to the ring to warn Reigns and Regal against doing any more damage. Later in the evening we saw Xavier Woods backstage challenge Roman Reigns to a singles match at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View next month. Prior to the main event we saw Seth Rollins in Vickie’s office and he asked if he could get a shot at the World title were he to beat Lesnar in RAW’s main event, which Vickie agreed to. In RAW’s non-title main event Brock Lesnar beat Seth Rollins, however.

Rating: D

Evie versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Raquel Diaz defeated Evie in 5:46 by pinfall with a Gory Bomb. The WWE Superstars commentary team note that Diaz needed this victory after the daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero lost this past week on Monday Night RAW.

Match Rating: E

Further highlights are shown from this past week’s Monday Night RAW when Sheamus once again impressed the WWE Universe by defeating Kalisto, the masked Superstar, to make the first defence of his WWE United States Championship. However later on in the evening we saw Sheamus being approached by Kalisto, who told Sheamus that he got lucky in their title match before slapping Sheamus across the face and running away. A WWE.com exclusive video is then shown of Sheamus frantically looking for Kalisto looking to extract some revenge when Sheamus is approached by Alexander Rusev and his manager, Michael Hayes. Rusev looks menacing in the background as Hayes tells Sheamus that Rusev still wants that US title and that they will be campaigning to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero for a title shot.

Rating: D+

Highlights are shown from this past Sunday’s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View, including Big E Langston defeating Damien Sandow much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance as well as Nikki Bella defeating Rain to once again retain her WWE Divas Championship. We then see highlights’ of Nikki Bella’s non-title victory over Raquel Diaz from Monday Night RAW.

Rating: D+

Tweets are shown from the WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro from the past few days as a Twitter war has begun between the WWE Tag Team Champions and two other Superstars in Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston. A tweet is then shown from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announcing that tomorrow night’s SmackDown main event will see Big E and Kofi team up to challenge Kidd and Cesaro for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Rating: C-

The Great Khali and Colt Cabana versus The Miz and Damien Sandow

In a match that had some good action and average heat, MizDow defeated The Great Cabana in 12:55 when The Miz defeated The Great Khali by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. A pretty vocal crowd in attendance didn’t seem particularly happy with seeing the Great Khali wrestle tonight with many sections of the WWE Universe still feeling that the former World Champion still doesn’t have what it takes to be a WWE Superstar.

Match Rating: C-

Post-Show: Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Angelo Dawkins

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Angelo Dawkins defeated Fatsuhiko Nakajima in 13:30 by pinfall with a Powerbomb. The Godfather accompanied Nakajma to ringside for this one, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance.

Match Rating: F+

Post-Show: Trent Barreta versus Kalisto

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Kalisto defeated Trent Barreta in 13:02 by pinfall with a Del Sol Driver. Unfortunately this match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the WWE Universe still not caring much for Kalisto despite his presence on Monday Night RAW this past week.

Match Rating: F+

Final Show Rating: D+

Friday, Week 4, May, 2014

http://www.daddyshangout.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Smackdown-Logo.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Tag Team Championships: Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro © versus Big E and Kofi Kingston

The main event of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier this week via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and will see Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against the team of Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston, teaming up for the very first time tonight. During the past week a Twitter war has erupted between these two teams after Kidd and Cesaro both picked fun at Big E Langston for failing to find a tag team partner this past Sunday at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View to take on the team of The Miz and Damien Sandow, which led to Big E having to face Damien Sandow in singles competition. Kofi Kingston would then congratulate Big E for his win over Sandow and told him that if he ever needed a partner to take on a pair of arrogant know-it-alls like Kidd and Cesaro then he would be ready. Kidd and Cesaro won their first WWE Tag Team Championships as a team last month on SmackDown by beating the former Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso. Kidd and Cesaro would then beat the Uso’s in a Tornado tag team match at last month’s Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View to make their first title defence and then beat the Uso’s again this past Sunday at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View, making their second successful title defence and confirming that Jimmy and Jey can no longer challenge for the titles whilst Kidd and Cesaro are Champions. One can only assume, therefore, that Jimmy and Jey will be pulling for Big E and Kofi to pick up the all-important victory tonight and leave as the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Ryback © versus The Miz

The WWE Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as Ryback will look to make his first successful title defence against the challenge of a former multi-time Intercontinental Champion, The Miz. Ryback made history this past Sunday at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View when he defeated Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match to win the Intercontinental title, the very first Championship that Ryback has held in the WWE. This ended the reign of Wade Barrett, who had held the title since February. The Miz was awarded a title opportunity tonight after impressing the SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle last night on WWE Superstars when he teamed with Damien Sandow to defeat the team of the Great Khali and Colt Cabana in the evening’s main event.

Dean Ambrose and Kane versus The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan)

Tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the team of Dean Ambrose and Kane team up to take on the Wyatt Family members Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. It was just two weeks ago after Monday Night RAW went off the air that we saw the Wyatt Family of Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman attack the Chief Operating Officer of the WWE, Triple H. This would lead Triple H to return to action at Sunday’s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View, beating Bray Wyatt. After the match we saw the Undertaker appear on the Titantron only for Bray Wyatt to laugh at the Deadman.

Stardust versus Wade Barrett

Wade Barrett will surely be in a bad mood tonight on Friday Night SmackDown after losing his WWE Intercontinental Championship this past Sunday at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View and he will look to get back into title contention when he takes on Stardust.

Christian versus Damien Sandow

The former World Champion Christian will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Damien Sandow, fresh from his tag team victory over the Great Khali and Colt Cabana last night on WWE Superstars.

Sasha Banks versus Rain

Finally, Divas action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Sasha Banks take on Rain. This past Sunday at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Rain failed in her bid to win the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella.

Quick Picks:

WWE Tag Team Championships: Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro © versus Big E and Kofi Kingston

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Ryback © versus The Miz

Dean Ambrose and Kane versus The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan)

Stardust versus Wade Barrett

Christian versus Damien Sandow

Sasha Banks versus Rain

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month. This is the final show of this month’s contest and the overall winner will be able to pick one of the participants in a Money in the Bank Ladder match at the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View!)

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Erie Insurance Arena (PA), 5,586 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Hailey Hatred versus Layla

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Layla defeated Hailey Hatred in 17:37 by pinfall with a Face Lift. Hailey Hatred seemed off her game tonight in this Divas match that went the distance which led to the former Divas Champion Layla picking up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: The Great Khali and Colt Cabana versus Prime Time Players

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Prime Time Players defeated The Great Cabana in 17:37 when Titus O'Neil defeated Colt Cabana by pinfall with a Clash of the Titus. A pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing the Great Khali wrestle tonight and it would appear that large sections of the WWE Universe still have no time for the Great Khali despite him featuring regularly on Friday Night SmackDown for several years now and even being a former World Champion. It was the Prime Time Players who got the win here after Titus O’Neil pinned Colt Cabana following the Clash of the Titus.

Match Rating: D

Pre-Show: R-Truth versus JTG

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, R-Truth defeated JTG in 17:38 by pinfall with a Corkscrew Scissors Kick. R-Truth was visibly tiring towards the end of this match against JTG as R-Truth is getting on in years and this match certainly went on for a long time. However, despite being tired, R-Truth was still able to get the win over the much younger and fitter JTG after hitting his trademark Corkscrew Scissors Kick.

Match Rating: D-

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with Dolph Ziggler making his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance that has not seen Ziggler on SmackDown in a number of weeks. Ziggler retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that this year started off with Dolph Ziggler winning the Royal Rumble match back in January, cementing his place in the main event of Wrestlemania. Dolph Ziggler says that after winning the Royal Rumble match he was sure that 2014 was going to be his year, the year that he finally cemented himself as a true main eventer and cornerstone of the WWE. Ziggler says that he has had multiple reigns as Intercontinental Champion and is a former World Champion but that the newly introduced WWE World Heavyweight Championship, that was only formed last December, is the ultimate prize that he wanted to win on the biggest stage of them all at Wrestlemania against the “Beast”, Brock Lesnar. Ziggler says that he went into Wrestlemania this year full of hope and confidence that he would walk out as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion but that was not to be as somehow he couldn’t get the job done against Brock Lesnar and lost at Wrestlemania. Ziggler says that now a few months later, Brock Lesnar remains the man to beat at the top of the WWE and after Seth Rollins lost his match with Brock Lesnar this past week on Monday Night RAW he will now not be given the chance to face Lesnar for the title by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Ziggler notes that another Shield member, Roman Reigns, lost his opportunity against Lesnar this past Sunday at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View. Ziggler continues that for the past few months he has been forgotten by management but now he is back and he wants another crack at the big, ugly beast Brock Lesnar. The Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle then comes to the entrance-way and says that Ziggler should be careful what he wishes for, and at No Way Out in a few weeks, Ziggler will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Rating: D-

Sasha Banks versus Rain

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rain defeated Sasha Banks in 5:43 by pinfall with a Backstabber. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker announce that Rain will once again challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas title at No Way Out.

Match Rating: E

We cut backstage to find Mickie James applying lipstick in front of a mirror when Eva Marie approaches Mickie from behind and slams her face first into the make-up table before running away leaving Mickie down and out.

Rating: E-

Dean Ambrose and Kane versus The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Ambrose & Kane defeated The Wyatt Family in 8:23 when Dean Ambrose defeated Luke Harper by pinfall with a Dirty Deeds. Dean Ambrose proudly proclaimed himself as the “Demon Hunter” on the way to the ring and showed no fear against the big demons of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, and with the Devil’s favourite demon, Kane, at his side, Ambrose picked up the win for his team.

Match Rating: D+

Following their victory Kane makes fire come out of the ring posts whilst Dean Ambrose takes a microphone and says that Kevin Owens might have beaten him this past Sunday at Over the Limit, but Dean Ambrose challenges Owens to a rematch at No Way Out and says he wants an answer by the end of the night.

Rating: D-

We find Kofi Kingston backstage doing exercises prior to tonight’s WWE Tag Team Championships main event when he is attacked from behind by one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Antonio Cesaro, who grabs Kingston by his legs and swings him head first into the wall.

Rating: D+

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Ryback © versus The Miz

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Miz defeated Ryback in 10:26 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz wins the WWE Intercontinental title. The commentary team note that Ryback’s first title reign lasted less than a week as the Miz becomes the new Intercontinental Champion.

Match Rating: C

We cut backstage to find Kane in a dark room somewhere when he is hit in the back with a steel chair. The camera pans up to find Kevin Owens holding the chair. Owens stands above Kane and says that Kane should tell his buddy Dean Ambrose that Owens accepts his challenge for a match at No Way Out before Owens walks away.

Rating: D

Stardust versus Wade Barrett

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Stardust defeated Wade Barrett in 7:38 by pinfall with The Beautiful Disaster. The commentary team note that Barrett’s week went from bad to worse after losing the Intercontinental title this past Sunday.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Divas Alexa Bliss and Tamina feeling the muscles of Big E Langston. Big E says that he enjoys the attention but should really go to check on his tag team partner Kofi Kingston, and leaves the scene before coming back to kiss Alexa on the cheek.

Rating: D

Christian versus Damien Sandow

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Christian defeated Damien Sandow in 7:43 by submission. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that there is still life in the career of Christian.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Big E Langston being beat down by the WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro as well as Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady before Kofi Kingston and Jimmy and Jey Uso rush into the room to make the save prior to our main event.

Rating: D

WWE Tag Team Championships: Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro © versus Big E and Kofi Kingston

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big E & Kofi defeated Kidd & Cesaro in 16:07 when Big E Langston defeated Antonio Cesaro by pinfall with a Big Ending. Big E & Kofi win the WWE Tag Team titles. Monday Night RAW’s Xavier Woods accompanied Big E and Kofi to ringside for this match after we saw Xavier Woods show support towards Big E this past Sunday. Xavier Woods cheers on Big E and Kofi throughout the match which leads to Big E and Kofi getting the win and becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

Match Rating: C

Post-Show: Mark Henry versus Epico

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Mark Henry defeated Epico in 13:29 by pinfall with a Big Splash. The midget dressed as a bull El Torito accompanied Epico to ringside. The commentary team also stayed at ringside to watch this one.

Match Rating: D-

Post-Show: Rey Mysterio versus Drake Younger

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Rey Mysterio defeated Drake Younger in 12:34 by pinfall with a 619 into the West Coast Pop. The commentary team remained at ringside to watch this one too.

Match Rating: D-

Final Show Rating: D+

Monday, Week 1, June, 2014

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the “Beast” Brock Lesnar take on one-third of the Shield, Roman Reigns, in non-title action. We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that Dolph Ziggler will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View after Ziggler came to the ring on SmackDown and told the WWE Universe that after a mixed year he is now back and ready to succeed in what he failed at in the main event of Wrestlemania, beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle would then come to the ring to make the match official. There is no rest for the wicked tonight on RAW, as despite Lesnar heading into his title defence against Ziggler in just six days, tonight the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has given Lesnar a match against a Superstar he knows well in Roman Reigns. One-third of the Shield along with Seth Rollins and William Regal, Reigns challenged Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship just a few weeks ago at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View in a losing effort. Since announcing himself as the mastermind behind the Shield, Paul Heyman has made it clear that their one aim is to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Lesnar after Heyman was replaced by Billy Gunn as Lesnar’s associate earlier in the year. We haven’t seen Heyman in a few weeks, but Lesnar is an MMA Bad Ass and will be focused fully on delivering pain to his opponent tonight as Reigns will also be looking to pick up the all-important victory to potentially earn himself another title opportunity in the future.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Kalisto

The WWE United States Championship will be on the line tonight on Monday Night RAW as Sheamus will put the title on the line in a Triple Threat match against Alexander Rusev as well as the masked Kalisto. Last week on RAW the WWE Universe witnessed Sheamus beat Kalisto to make his first successful title defence before he was slapped in the face by Kalisto backstage and then confronted by Alexander Rusev, who made it clear that he still wants the United States Championship.

Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat versus Danny Burch and Troy McClain

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the team of Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat take on the pair of Danny Burch and Troy McClain. This Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View Xavier Woods will take on the Shield’s Roman Reigns, and we also saw Xavier Woods accompany Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston to the ring this past week on Friday Night SmackDown as Big E and Kofi became the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

Chris Jericho versus Chavo Guerrero

Two veterans will go one on one tonight on Monday Night RAW as Chris Jericho will take on Chavo Guerrero, the nephew of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, in what will be Chavo’s first match on RAW since October of last year.

Zack Ryder versus Bray Wyatt

The mysterious Bray Wyatt will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Zack Ryder. The WWE Universe in attendance should be fully behind Ryder tonight as he looks to impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero with a victory.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella versus Cheerleader Melissa

We learnt this past week on Friday Night SmackDown that Rain will once again challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship this Sunday at No Way Out but before then Nikki Bella will take on the returning Cheerleader Melissa in non-title action tonight on Monday Night RAW.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus Roman Reigns

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Kalisto

Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat versus Danny Burch and Troy McClain

Chris Jericho versus Chavo Guerrero

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Erie Insurance Arena (PA) 5,586 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Kaitlyn versus Raquel Diaz

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Kaitlyn defeated Raquel Diaz in 18:28 by pinfall with an Atomic Wedgie Bomb. The former WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn was visibly tiring towards the end of this contest that went the distance against the physically fitter daughter of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz. However, despite being tired here, Kaitlyn was still able to pick up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Batista and Mason Ryan versus Jack Swagger and Tensai

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Swagger & Tensai defeated Batista & Mason Ryan in 17:46 when Jack Swagger defeated Mason Ryan by pinfall with a Swagger Bomb. Angel Williams accompanied the team of Batista and Mason Ryan to ringside for this match and offered cheerleading as well as vocal support throughout the match but ultimately it was to no avail as Swagger and Tensai got the win here after Swagger pinned Mason Ryan following the Swagger Bomb.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Rob Van Dam versus John Cena

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, John Cena defeated Rob Van Dam in 18:03 by submission with an STF. Unfortunately John Cena and Rob Van Dam don’t seem to click as opponents and it made for an awkward bout here.

Match Rating: C+

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring to a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance. As usual, Lesnar is joined by his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn, who takes a microphone from the ringside area only to have it grabbed from his hands by Brock. The “Beast” says that he wants to do his own talking tonight, and that he has many people to address. First, Brock Lesnar thanks the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle for confirming his next challenger, as he will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Dolph Ziggler this Sunday at No Way Out. Lesnar says that the result at No Way Out this Sunday will be the same as at Wrestlemania, Brock Lesnar standing over Dolph Ziggler still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Brock Lesnar then says that he wants to thank the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero for putting him in a non-title match with Roman Reigns tonight, but before Lesnar can continue Roman Reigns comes to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own. Reigns says that this Sunday he will destroy Xavier Woods, but that tonight he will be the first person to defeat Brock Lesnar in over a year, and that Brock can believe that.

Rating: B-

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella versus Cheerleader Melissa

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Nikki Bella defeated Cheerleader Melissa in 6:10 by pinfall with a Twin Magic. Nikki Bella has a dreadfully stale character and a change is really needed. Nikki and her twin sister Brie once again switched places behind the referee’s back to get the win here.

Match Rating: C-

(Billy Kidman would seriously consider either turning Nikki Bella or trying a new gimmick as she has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

Following her victory Nikki Bella celebrates in the ring with her twin sister Brie before Mia Yim comes to the ring with a microphone in hand. Mia says that she knows that this Sunday at No Way Out Nikki Bella will be putting the title on the line against Rain but that the Bella Twins should not forget about Mia Yim.

Rating: F-

Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat versus Danny Burch and Troy McClain

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Woods & Steamboat defeated Burch & McClain in 8:27 when Xavier Woods defeated Danny Burch by pinfall with a Lost in the Woods. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler note that Xavier Woods will be taking on Roman Reigns this Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View and that Woods looked fired up tonight heading into Sunday.

Match Rating: E

Following their victory Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat celebrate in front of the WWE Universe before Roman Reigns and William Regal of the Shield come to the entrance-way and stare down Woods and Steamboat. The former WWE Tag Team Champions Reigns and Regal look serious ahead of Roman Reigns taking on Brock Lesnar in tonight’s non-title main event.

Rating: D-

We cut backstage to find the Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki, discussing Nikki Bella’s Divas Championship defence against Rain this Sunday at No Way Out when Beth Phoenix walks into the room and says that the “Glamazon” is back and that Brie and Nikki should have their heads on a swivel.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Kalisto

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

Rob Van Dam versus Alberto Del Rio

The main event of tonight´s episode of WWE Superstars will see a rematch from last month´s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View as Rob Van Dam will take on the Mexican aristocrat, Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio got the victory over RVD at Over the Limit just a few weeks ago and then later on in the evening Del Rio’s manager Zeb Colter came to the entrance-way and told the WWE Universe that now that Del Rio had beat RVD, “Mr. Monday Night” RVD could go back to doing what he does best, smoking pot. Understandably, these comments have angered RVD and he will be doing all he can to pick up the all-important victory over Del Rio tonight and impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero in the process. Del Rio has acted like an Alien Invader since moving to RAW from Friday Night SmackDown last month and made a big impact with his win over RVD. However, Del Rio lost all four matches he took part in last month on WWE Superstars, with a loss to Big E Langston followed by defeats against Goldust and CM Punk.

Big Show and Mark Henry versus Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady

Tag team action tonight on WWE Superstars will see former World Champions and former rivals Big Show and Mark Henry team up to take on the young team of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. Tonight will be the first time the WWE Universe will have seen Big Show in action since April, and one interesting statistic to note regarding the “World’s Largest Athlete” is that Big Show has only failed to win two matches that he has competed in since April of last year, with one of those losses being the Royal Rumble match back in January and the other being the TLC match against Brock Lesnar last December when Brock Lesnar became the very first WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Jessie McKay versus Sexy Star

Finally, Divas action tonight on WWE Superstars will see the young Australian Jessie McKay in action as she will take on Sexy Star. All eyes in the Divas division will be looking to this Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View when Nikki Bella will once again put her Divas title on the line against Rain. This is a rematch from an episode of Superstars back in April when Jessie McKay defeated Sexy Star.

WWE Superstars (Live from Rahway Recreation Center (NJ), 1,224 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Cameron versus Rain

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rain defeated Cameron in 18:08 by pinfall with an Acid Rain. Cameron was visibly tiring towards the end of this match which led to the Number One Contender to the WWE Divas Championship Rain picking up the all-important victory here. Rain will challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas title this Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View.

Match Rating: E

Pre-Show: Sami Zayn and Fatsuhiko Nakajima versus Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, International Explosion defeated Team Gorgeous in 17:39 when Sami Zayn defeated Tyler Breeze by pinfall with a Brainbuster. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe still yet to really care about the “Team Gorgeous” pairing of Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen despite the pair having already competed several times on Friday Night SmackDown. The “International Explosion” pairing of Zayn and Nakajima get the win here after Sami Zayn pinned Tyler Breeze.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Trent Barreta versus Mojo Rawlings

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Mojo Rawlings defeated Trent Barreta in 17:43 by submission. Unfortunately this match was far too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe yet to care about either competitor.

Match Rating: E-

Big Show and Mark Henry versus Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, World's Largest Tag Team defeated Amore & Cassady in 8:20 when Big Show defeated Enzo Amore by pinfall with a Knockout Punch. Big Show seemed off his game tonight in his first match since a match on Friday Night SmackDown back in April. However, the power and size of Big Show and Mark Henry was too much for Amore and Cassady tonight and after Mark Henry did most of the heavy lifting for his team Big Show tagged in and hit Enzo with the Knockout Punch to gain the pinfall victory.

Match Rating: D+

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs highlights from last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown when Dolph Ziggler addressed the WWE Universe and said that he was back and ready to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Brock Lesnar. We then see Brock Lesnar and his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn coming to the ring from this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW when Lesnar said that he would beat Ziggler again at No Way Out this Sunday and that he would also defeat Roman Reigns in RAW’s non-title main event made by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

We cut backstage to find Paige approach Mia Yim, and the former Divas Champion Paige tells Mia that she hasn’t proved herself and must be arrogant to come out this past week on Monday Night RAW and claim that the Bella Twins shouldn’t forget about Mia Yim. Match Rating: D-

The RAW Rebound airs, highlighting events from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW as we saw Alexander Rusev and his manager Michael Hayes approach the US Champion Sheamus backstage and Hayes claimed that Rusev was about to become the most dominant US Champion in history. Sheamus would then defeat both Rusev and Kalisto in a Triple Threat match to retain the United States Championship and was flirting with Jessie McKay backstage after the match when the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero announced that Sheamus will put his title on the line in another Triple Threat match against Rusev and Kalisto this Sunday at No Way Out. Later on in the evening Kalisto would once again slap Sheamus before running away and in RAW’s non-title main event we saw Brock Lesnar beat Roman Reigns.

Rating: D+

Friday, Week 1, June, 2014

http://www.daddyshangout.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Smackdown-Logo.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus The Great Khali

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced yesterday via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle and will see the new WWE Intercontinental Champion the Miz look to make his first successful title defence as he puts the title on the line against the Great Khali. The Miz began his fourth reign as Intercontinental Champion last week on SmackDown when he defeated Ryback less than a week after Ryback won the title. Despite not having the support of many members of the WWE Universe due to his cocky attitude and loud-mouth, the Miz sees himself as a big of a Heart Break Kid and a hit with the ladies, and is a former WWE Champion. The Great Khali, the challenger tonight, is a former World Champion in his own right and will do all he can to leave tonight with the all-important victory and the Intercontinental Championship, a title that Khali has never held. The Great Khali is a fun “babyface” who the WWE Universe in general love to get behind, despite having his own doubters amongst some sections of the audience. These two met in tag team action just a few weeks ago on WWE Superstars when the Miz and his “MizDow” tag team partner Damien Sandow defeated the team of Khali and Colt Cabana, referred to by the WWE Universe as the “Great Cabana”. Tonight is a big opportunity for Khali, being his most important match since he challenged for then vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship back on SmackDown in January.

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston versus The Wyatt Family

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown saw new WWE Tag Team Champions made as the newly formed team of Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston defeated the former WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro in the evening’s main event to become the new Champions. Tonight on SmackDown, in their first match since winning the titles, Big E and Kofi will take on the Wyatt Family pairing of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in non-title action. The patriarch of the Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt, was victorious over Zack Ryder this past week on Monday Night RAW and Harper and Rowan will look to follow in their leader’s footsteps tonight, knowing that an impressive showing in front of the WWE Universe as well as a non-title victory could well lead to the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle giving Harper and Rowan an opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championships at some point in the future.

Christian versus Kevin Owens

This Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View, Kevin Owens will take on Dean Ambrose in a rematch from the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View last month when Owens defeated Ambrose in what was the WWE main roster debut of Kevin Owens following a spell in NXT. Before his match with Ambrose this Sunday, however, Owens must first take on Christian tonight on Friday Night SmackDown in a contest that will surely see the WWE Universe in attendance fully behind “Captain Charisma” Christian, the former World Champion. The Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle will also likely be hoping there are no physical altercations between Owens and Ambrose tonight after Owens hit Dean Ambrose’s tag team partner Kane in the back with a steel chair last week.

Stardust versus Wade Barrett

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Stardust in a rematch from last week’s SmackDown when Stardust defeated Barrett.

Ryback versus Damien Sandow

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown Ryback lost his newly won WWE Intercontinental Championship to the Miz and with the Great Khali getting a title shot tonight Ryback has to climb the ladder to another title shot again, starting tonight when he will take on the tag team partner of the Miz, Damien Sandow. Ryback has acted as a Ring Announcer for himself in the past, introducing himself to the WWE Universe and he will hope to have the support of the WWE Universe tonight.

Sasha Banks versus Tamina

Last night on WWE Superstars Paige looked as though she was about to slap Mia Yim, upset as Mia’s comments from this past week on Monday Night RAW, when Paige was stopped by Sasha Banks, who then challenged Paige to a match this Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View. Before Sasha Banks takes on the former Divas Champion Paige this Sunday, tonight on Friday Night SmackDown Sasha Banks will take on the powerhouse Tamina. A victory for Sasha tonight followed by a win over Paige this Sunday could lead to the feisty Diva, who is very popular amongst the WWE Universe, getting a future shot at the Divas Championship.

Quick Picks:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus The Great Khali

Non-Title: WWE Tag Team Champions Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston versus The Wyatt Family

Christian versus Kevin Owens

Stardust versus Wade Barrett

Ryback versus Damien Sandow

Sasha Banks versus Tamina

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

Congratulations to last month's winner christmas_ape! You get to pick one of the participants in a Money in the Bank Ladder match at the upcoming WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View! Please PM me your choice as soon as possible.

Match Rating: D

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the Number One Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Dolph Ziggler, making his way to the ring. Ziggler receives a mixed reception from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Ziggler says that he heard Brock Lesnar and his Dolph Ziggler-wannabe mentor Billy Gunn this past week on Monday Night RAW claim that No Way Out this Sunday will end just the way Wrestlemania did, with Brock Lesnar standing over Dolph Ziggler still as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Ziggler says that he will leave the No Way Out Pay-Per-View this Sunday as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion and actually show up to compete with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Friday Night SmackDown. Ziggler says that he assumes the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle doesn’t have the grapefruits to challenge the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero, as since the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship were unified last December, Brock Lesnar has been Champion for almost the whole time and not once has he shown his big, ugly face on SmackDown. Hornswoggle then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand and says that whilst he doesn’t like the lack of respect shown to him by Ziggler, he hopes that Ziggler can back up his words this Sunday. Hornswoggle then announces that the winner of tonight’s Intercontinental Championship main event will go on to defend the title against Daniel Bryan this Sunday.

Rating: D

latest?cb=20081028022121

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE No Way Out Pay-Per-View:

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar © versus Dolph Ziggler

The main event of tonight’s No Way Out Pay-Per-View will see Brock Lesnar put the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Dolph Ziggler. Brock Lesnar was the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion after he defeated Big Show last December at the TLC Pay-Per-View in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Lesnar was then injured competing on Monday Night RAW back in January and was forced to vacate the title, but won it back upon his return in March when he defeated the former Champion CM Punk in a Triple Threat match also involving Kane. Lesnar has had an incredible reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, with the guidance of his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn and the WWE Universe witnessed Lesnar retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania against the winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble match Dolph Ziggler. Lesnar would then defeat Seth Rollins in a Street Fight at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View to make his second title defence and most recently beat Roman Reigns in the main event of last month’s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View to retain the title for the third time. The WWE Universe has seen Brock Lesnar win every single match he has competed in for over a year, a run stretching over thirty matches. This past week on Friday Night SmackDown Dolph Ziggler challenged the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle over Lesnar not once appearing on SmackDown during his run as Champion, and criticized Hornswoggle for not standing up to the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Ziggler will do all in his power tonight to defeat the unstoppable Brock Lesnar, pick up the most all-important victory of his career and leave as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

WWE Tag Team Championships: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © vs. Tyson Kidd & Antonio Cesaro

Two weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston defeated Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro in the main event of Friday Night SmackDown to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions in what was their first ever time teaming together. Tonight the former Champions Kidd and Cesaro will receive their contractually obligated rematch as they will challenge Big E and Kofi for the titles. Kidd and Cesaro tried to make a statement by, along with Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, attacking Kingston this past week on SmackDown only for Jimmy and Jey Uso to come to the aid of Big E and Kofi, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Kalisto

Last month at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Sheamus defeated John Cena to become the new WWE United States Champion for the third time in his career. The following night on Monday Night RAW Sheamus defeated Kalisto to make his first successful title defence, only for the masked Superstar Kalisto to slap Sheamus backstage following the match before running off. Later that night Sheamus was approached by Alexander Rusev and his manager Michael Hayes, who told Sheamus that Rusev still wanted the US title. Last week on RAW Sheamus beat Rusev and Kalisto in a Triple Threat match to make his second title defence and tonight Sheamus will try to do the same again.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus Daniel Bryan

Two weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown the Miz defeated Ryback to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion for the fourth time in his career, ending the title reign of Ryback after less than a week. Two night ago the Miz defeated the Great Khali to make his first successful title defence and tonight the Miz must take on a Superstar he has plenty of history with, Daniel Bryan, who beat the Miz four years ago to win his first title in the WWE, the United States Championship. Daniel Bryan will be looking to become the Intercontinental Champion for the first time tonight.

Dean Ambrose versus Kevin Owens

Dean Ambrose will take on Kevin Owens tonight in a rematch from last month’s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View when Kevin Owens defeated Ambrose in his WWE main roster debut following a spell on NXT.

Xavier Woods versus Roman Reigns

One-third of the Shield, Roman Reigns, will be in action at tonight’s No Way Out Pay-Per-View when he will take on Xavier Woods. It is likely that the other two members of the Shield, William Regal and Seth Rollins, will not be too far away from proceedings tonight.

WWE Divas Championship: Nikki Bella © versus Rain

The WWE Divas Championship will be on the line tonight as Nikki Bella will once again put her title on the line against Rain. Nikki Bella is currently the longest reigning Champion in the WWE and is enjoying her second reign as Divas Champion, one that started back in February when she won the title on Monday Night RAW. In that time Nikki has made four successful title defences including most recently defeating Rain to retain the title at last month’s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View.

Sasha Banks versus Paige

Finally, Divas action tonight will see Sasha Banks take on Paige. This match stems from a confrontation that took place this past week on WWE Superstars when Sasha Banks defended Mia Yim, grabbing the hand of Paige as she was about to slap Mia and challenging Paige to a match tonight.

Quick Picks:

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar © versus Dolph Ziggler

WWE Tag Team Championships: Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston © vs. Tyson Kidd & Antonio Cesaro

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Kalisto

WWE Intercontinental Championship: The Miz © versus Daniel Bryan

Dean Ambrose versus Kevin Owens

Xavier Woods versus Roman Reigns

WWE Divas Championship: Nikki Bella © versus Rain

Sasha Banks versus Paige

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Alexander Rusev versus Kalisto

Last night at the WWE No Way Out Pay-Per-View Sheamus defeated both Alexander Rusev and Kalisto in a Triple Threat match to successfully retain the WWE United States Championship, his third successful title defence since winning the title from John Cena at last month’s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View. Tonight, in Monday Night RAW’s main event, Sheamus will once again put the United States Championship on the line against both the “Bulgarian Brute” Rusev as well as the masked Kalisto in another Triple Threat match. All three of these Superstars will be looking to do all they can to pick up the all-important victory and leave with the United States Championship.

Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston vs. Danny Burch & Troy McClain

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the newly christened WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Big E and Kofi Kingston in action as a tag team on RAW for the very first time as they will take on the team of Danny Burch and Troy McClain in a non-title match. A few weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown Big E and Kofi beat Tyson Kidd and Antonio Cesaro to become the then-WWE Tag Team Champions, and beat Kidd and Cesaro again last night at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View to retain the titles, with Triple H announcing last night that the titles will now be the exclusive property of RAW and known as the RAW Tag Team Championships.

Zack Ryder versus Jinder Mahal

The popular Zack Ryder will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on India’s own Jinder Mahal. The WWE Universe will likely be fully behind Ryder tonight as he takes on one third of the three man band known as 3MB. Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre have not been seen with Mahal for some time, however, and 3MB may have had their best days as a unit behind them. Both Ryder and Mahal will be looking to impress the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero with a victory tonight.

Evan Bourne versus John Cena

The high-flying Evan Bourne will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on John Cena. The Rock shocked the WWE Universe a few weeks ago when he appeared on Monday Night RAW and said that John Cena was not the same Superstar that faced the Rock at Wrestlemania a few years ago which led to Cena simply walking out of the ring. Evan Bourne is an Every-Man and the WWE Universe can relate to Bourne, and he will be hoping to do what he couldn’t do last month on RAW tonight and beat John Cena.

Rob Van Dam versus Kassius Ohno

With the WWE World Heavyweight Championship having moved to Friday Night SmackDown, and with it the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, opportunities for other Superstars on the Monday Night RAW roster will no doubt open up. Two Superstars looking to take advantage of the new situation are Rob Van Dam and Kassius Ohno, who will go one on one tonight on Monday Night RAW with both looking to get the attention of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero.

WWE Divas Championship: Nikki Bella © vs. Brie Bella vs. Sasha Banks vs. Mia Yim vs. Raquel Diaz

Last night at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View Nikki Bella retained her Divas Championship against Rain in controversial circumstances as her and her twin sister Brie Bella once again switched places behind the referee’s back, known to the WWE Universe as “Twin Magic”, and Brie pinned Rain to retain the title for her sister. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Nikki must defend the title in a Fatal Five-Way match against her own sister Brie, Sasha Banks, Mia Yim and Raquel Diaz. The Diva with the most momentum heading into this match mat be Sasha Banks after her victory over Paige last night.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Reigns & Regal defeated Gargano & Tajiri in 18:09 when Roman Reigns defeated Tajiri by pinfall with a Moment of Silence. Match Rating: E

Monday Night RAW kicks off with Xavier Woods making his way to the ring to a decent reaction from the WWE Universe in attendance. Once in the ring Woods retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that tonight is the first Monday Night RAW of a new era. Woods says that with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar moving to Friday Night SmackDown and taking the title with him, Monday Night RAW is now left without a World Champion. Woods announces that the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero has made a match for the Payback Pay-Per-View later this month to crown the first ever WWE Universal Championship, and that in the spirit of giving opportunities to new Superstars, the match will be contested between two Superstars who have never held a Championship of any kind in the WWE.
Tuesday, Week 2, June, 2014

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s NXT Passing the Torch:

NXT Championship: Curtis Axel © versus Bray Wyatt

The main event of tonight’s NXT Passing the Torch special event will see Curtis Axel put the NXT Championship on the line against a Superstar making his return to NXT tonight, Bray Wyatt. Bray Wyatt seems himself as a Braveheart, a leader of men, and his Wyatt Family of Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman have certainly all made an impact with the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown. Bray Wyatt made his start in NXT, famously feuding with the first ever NXT Champion Seth Rollins, and tonight Wyatt will make his first appearance inside the NXT Arena in over a year as he looks to take the NXT Championship from Curtis Axel. The NXT Universe have really taken to the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Curtis Axel since he won the NXT Championship from Justin Gabriel back at NXT Falling Apart in April, and Axel has called himself Generation Next and sees NXT as the “perfect” place to continue his career rebirth, being a Second Generation Superstar and the son of the late, great, Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig. Tonight will be Axel’s second title defence since winning the NXT Championship and his toughest to date as Bray Wyatt will do all he can to leave here tonight with the all-important victory and the coveted NXT Championship.

NXT Arena Championship: Ezekiel Jackson © versus Wesley Blake

The NXT Arena Championship will also be on the line tonight as Ezekiel Jackson will defend his title against the young upstart Wesley Blake. This is a rematch from NXT 100,000 Years back in March when Jackson defeated Wesley Blake to retain the NXT Arena Championship in what was Wesley Blake’s first ever match. Wesley Blake competed in front of the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena for the second time last month at NXT Coronation of Champions in a losing effort to Scott Dawson and tonight Blake will once again look to pick up his first win and in the process the NXT Arena Championship.

Scott Dawson versus Aiden English versus Adam Pearce

A Triple Threat match tonight will see Scott Dawson, Aiden English and Adam Pearce all look to pick up a win to impress the NXT General Manager Jim Cornette who as always will be watching the action from the broadcast position at NXT’s sole announcer. Adam Pearce is the only competitor in this match to have already held gold in NXT after being crowned the first ever NXT Arena Champion back in October of last year before losing the title to Ezekiel Jackson in January.

Steven Walters versus Ryan Drago

Two young rookies will both have their debut match in NXT tonight as Steven Walters will take on Ryan Drago with both men looking to make a good first impression to not only the NXT Universe in attendance inside the NXT Arena but also the NXT General Manager Jim Cornette.

Sin Cara versus Matt Silva

The high-flying Sin Cara will be in action tonight as he will take on the young Australian Matt Silva, who is also competing in his first match in NXT tonight. The masked Sin Cara has been known as a bit of a Gangsta and has competed all over the world before coming to NXT so certainly has the experience edge tonight.

A.R. Fox versus Sugar Dunkerton

On a night of debuts, Sugar Dunkerton will make his debut inside the NXT Arena tonight as the “Fun Babyface” Dunkerton, who loves to have a good time, will take on A.R. Fox, who came across as very Cocky in his own NXT debut last month at NXT Coronation of Champions

Primo versus Andy Leavine

The former WWE Tag Team Champion Primo will take a special appearance inside the NXT Arena tonight as he will take on the winner of the last WWE Tough Enough reality series, Andy Leavine. Leavine is a Fan Favourite and will hope to have the NXT Universe on his side against the experienced Primo tonight.

NXT Tag Team Champion Charlotte versus Kana

Finally, one half of the NXT Tag Team Champions Charlotte, the daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer the “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, will be in action tonight as she will take on the Japanese Kana, tonight competing in NXT for the very first time.

Charlotte is the daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer, Ric “The Nature” Boy Flair but it was the debuting Kana who scored the win here.

Match Rating: D-

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Primo defeated Andy Leavine in 12:44 by pinfall with a Backstabber. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette introduces the former WWE Tag Team Champion Primo to the NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena who receives a mixed reaction as he takes on the Fan Favourite Andy Leavine. Primo has plenty of experience competing in front of the WWE Universe on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown and he looks to prove a point to both the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle that he should be back on the main roster with a definitive victory here.

Match Rating: D-

Scott Dawson versus Aiden English versus Adam Pearce

Prior to our main event the NXT General Manager Jim Cornette provides commentary for Sugar Dunkerton’s NXT debut as he takes on A.R. Fox, who receives plenty of boos from the NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena as he makes his way to the ring. Jim Cornette notes that A.R. Fox is very Cocky and perhaps feels that the Fun Loving Babyface Sugar Dunkerton is beneath him. This is a very competitive match that ends with A.R. Fox getting the all-important victory.

Match Rating: D

NXT Championship: Curtis Axel © versus Bray Wyatt

Match Rating: D

Following our first commercial break of the evening WWE Superstars airs highlights from this past week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, known as the “RAW Rebound”. Damien Sandow really needs a change to his character desperately, it would appear that the WWE Universe are tired of seeing Sandow as nothing more than the side kick of the Miz. The Intercontinental Champion gets the win for his team tonight after pinning Colt Cabana.

Match Rating: C-

Tonight Brock Lesnar will make his first appearance on SmackDown in over ten years as he will put the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Damien Sandow and Dean Ambrose. The unpredictable Ambrose was awarded this match following a hard-fought victory over Kevin Owens this past Sunday at No Way Out, and Dean Ambrose will be looking to do all in his power to pick up the all-important victory and leave as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The WWE Universe last witnessed a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match on SmackDown back in January when Curtis Axel defeated both Big E Langston and the Great Khali in a Triple Threat match to win the then vacant title. Brock Lesnar is currently on a winning streak stretching over a year and including over thirty victories and with his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn by his side he may dominate SmackDown for years to come.

The Uso’s versus The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan)

The Chief Operating Officer of the WWE Triple H announced this past Sunday that new WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships will be created following Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston taking the WWE Tag Team Championships to Monday Night RAW and both of these teams know that a win could put them in the conversation to be in the first ever title match to claim new WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Stardust

This past Sunday at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View the Miz was able to remain the WWE Intercontinental Champion only after getting disqualified in his title defence against Daniel Bryan after hitting Bryan in the skull with the Intercontinental Championship title belt. The Miz will return to non-title action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Stardust.

Christian versus Kane

Two former World Champions will go head to head tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as Christian will take on Kane with both Superstars looking to impress the WWE Universe as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle.

R-Truth versus Drake Younger

Drake Younger is an Extremist who will do whatever he takes to get the win, which has led to the WWE Universe not receiving him very well. Tonight Younger will take on R-Truth on Friday Night SmackDown.

Becky Lynch versus Maxine

Finally, Women’s competition tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Becky Lynch take on Maxine. The Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle announced this past Sunday that the WWE Women’s Championship will soon be returning to SmackDown and both of these women would love to be the next WWE Women’s Champion.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Kalisto

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW was confirmed earlier today via a tweet sent out by the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and will see Sheamus put his WWE United States Championship on the line against the masked luchador, Kalisto. RAW’s main event last week saw Sheamus beat both Kalisto as well as the Bulgarian Brute, Alexander Rusev, in a Triple Threat match to make his fourth successful title defence in his third reign as the US Champion, and Sheamus will look to make it five successful title defences with an all-important victory over Kalisto tonight. Since defeating Kalisto in his first title defence back in May, the WWE Universe has seen Kalisto slap Sheamus backstage on many occasions before running away, and Sheamus may finally get a chance to take out all of his aggressions on Kalisto in singles competition tonight. Kalisto wears a mask that makes him look like he could be a member of the KKK and has previously told Sheamus that people like him should not be Champion, but Kalisto may have picked one too many fights with the much larger, “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus.

Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger & Tensai

Tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the newly christened WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston in action as they will take on the team of Jack Swagger and Tensai. Last week on RAW following their victory over Danny Burch and Troy McClain, Big E and Kofi seemed surprised to see Roman Reigns and William Regal of the Shield come to the entrance-way and signal to the WWE Universe that they want a shot at the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships.

Rob Van Dam versus Leo Kruger

Rob Van Dam will be back in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Leo Kruger just one week after RVD lost to Kassius Ohno last week on RAW and two weeks after losing to Alberto Del Rio. It has now been over a month since RVD’s last victory and he will be hoping to bounce back with a victory tonight.

Zack Ryder versus Solomon Crowe

Zack Ryder will be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he will take on Solomon Crowe. The “Grunge Rocker” Solomon Crowe will be taking part in just his second ever match on RAW after losing to Sami Zayn in his Monday Night RAW debut last November.

Santino Marella versus Calvin Raines

Santino Marella will take on Calvin Raines tonight on Monday Night RAW with both Superstars looking to impress the WWE Universe as well as the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero with a victory.

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Sasha Banks versus Audrey Marie

Last week on Monday Night RAW Sasha Banks made her dream come true by winning the WWE Divas Championship in a Fatal Five-Way match. Tonight Sasha Banks will compete for the first time since winning the title as she will take on Audrey Marie in singles, non-title competition.

Quick Picks:

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © versus Kalisto

Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Big E Langston & Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger & Tensai

Rob Van Dam versus Leo Kruger

Zack Ryder versus Solomon Crowe

Xavier Woods says that despite being around the WWE for several years now, he has held to hold a Championship and that he thanks the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero for this opportunity. Woods says that he will make Kevin Owens wish that he never attacked him last week. Before he can say anything else, however, Kevin Owens rushes to the ring and hits Woods with a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Kevin Owens then stands over Woods and picks up the microphone, declaring that he is the only man who can lead Monday Night RAW into the new era.

Rating: E+

Non-Title: WWE Divas Champion Sasha Banks versus Audrey Marie

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Sasha Banks defeated Audrey Marie in 7:14 by pinfall with a Wheelbarrow Bulldog. Sasha Banks seemed off her game tonight but the WWE Divas Champion was still able to get the win.

Match Rating: E

Following her hard-fought victory Sasha Banks celebrates in front of the WWE Universe before Raquel Diaz comes to the ring. Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find the WWE United States Champion Sheamus preparing for tonight’s main event when he is approached by Michael Hayes and his client Alexander Rusev. He also says that he will be keeping his eyes on Kevin Owens after he attacked Xavier Woods for the second week in a row earlier tonight. 250px-WWE205OfficialRender.png

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live:

Tajiri versus Chavo Guerrero

Tonight is a very special night in the history of the WWE as the first ever edition of 205 Live will air. As announced by the Chief Operating Officer of the WWE Triple H this past week on Monday Night RAW, 205 Live will be a show featuring only the best talent in the world at 205 pounds and under. The show will feature the top cruiserweight competitors from all over the world and will be the destination of top action every Thursday night. Only one match will take place on the premiere edition of 205 Live tonight and that will see two former WWE Cruiserweight Champions go head to head as Chavo Guerrero and Tajiri will look to pick up the all-important victory which could see them become the franchise of this new brand. Chavo Guerrero is the nephew of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and since returning to the WWE has failed to win a televised match for over a year and has instead been treated as somewhat of a lackey by many. Chavo will look to impress the WWE Universe tonight as well as re-establish the legacy of the Guerrero name with a victory over Tajiri. In order to get the win tonight Chavo will likely have to use the Latino Heat passed down to him by his late-great WWE Hall of Famer uncle, Eddie Guerrero. Chavo’s opponent tonight, Tajiri, is a well-travelled Martial Artist who made his return to the WWE earlier this year after many years away practicing his trade in his native Japan. Like Chavo, Tajiri has also been largely unsuccessful since returning to the WWE and is yet to win a match since returning. However, in his four matches on RAW since coming back he has been in the ring with Superstars such as Randy Orton and John Cena and also teamed with Johnny Gargano against Shield members Roman Reigns and William Regal in a losing effort. Tajiri is a former three-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion, last holding the title in December of 2003 and is also a former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion. Interestingly, one of Tajiri’s WWE Tag Team Championship reigns was with Chavo’s uncle, Eddie Guerrero, as Eddie and Tajiri held the WWE Tag Team Championships from May to July of 2003. Tajiri is also a former WWE United States Champion and will likely have the backing of the WWE Universe as he takes on Chavo tonight.

Quick Picks:

Tajiri versus Chavo Guerrero

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

WWE 205 Live (Live from La Puntilla Arena (PR), 1,419 in Attendance)

The WWE 205 Live announce team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman are our commentary team for 205 Live and welcome the television audience to what is sure to be a very special night as 205 Live makes its debut. The WWE Universe in attendance in this intimate setting of the La Puntilla Arena in Puerto Rico then rise to their feet as Chavo Guerrero makes his way to the ring. Chavo takes a microphone from the ringside area and says that although the powers that be have treated Chavo like a joke in recent years, he wants everybody to remember that he is more than just the nephew of the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. Chavo says that he is a Guerrero, and his family has dominated the Mexican wrestling scene for generations. Chavo says that he is still the greatest cruiserweight in the world and has Latino Heat running through his veins. Chavo says that everybody remembers his uncle, the late great WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. Chavo says that although Eddie was good, Chavo is better. The WWE Universe turn on Chavo as he says that he is a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and was the greatest Cruiserweight Champion of all time. Chavo says that the Cruiserweight title was degraded by being held by a Woman and ultimately disrespected by having Hornswoggle as the final Cruiserweight Champion before being retired. Chavo says that he is thankful that the little leprechaun Hornswoggle is now the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager and can’t destroy the credibility of the cruiserweights on 205 Live. Chavo says that in tonight’s main event he will beat Tajiri, somebody who is also a former Cruiserweight Champion and that also held the WWE Tag Team Championships with Chavo’s uncle Eddie. Tajiri then makes his way to the ring to a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance. Tajiri takes a microphone from the ringside area and also shakes hands with the commentary team before entering the ring. Tajiri says that Eddie Guerrero was one of the greatest competitors of all time and Chavo disrespects his own name by standing in the ring and claiming to be better than him. Tajiri says that he may be getting older but he is still as Martial Artist and it only takes one swift kick to knock an opponent out. Tajiri says that he will beat Chavo in tonight’s main event as a mark of respect towards the greatest cruiserweights that have come before him, including Eddie Guerrero. Chavo then says that he is sick of hearing about Eddie and being compared to him. Tajiri then fakes as if he is going to kick Chavo and Guerrero quickly heads out of the ring and heads to the back, leaving Tajiri standing tall as we head to our first commercial break of the evening.

Following the commercial break the commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Billy Kidman welcome us back to 205 Live as, to the surprise of everyone, the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Hornswoggle makes his way to the ring. Hornswoggle claps hands with several members of the WWE Universe at ringside and takes a microphone before entering the ring. Hornswoggle says that he is proud to be the last ever Cruiserweight Champion and that is why when the creation of 205 Live was announced by Triple H, Hornswoggle called the COO and asked to relinquish his position as the General Manager of SmackDown to be the first ever General Manager of 205 Live. Chavo says that his replacement on SmackDown will be announced tomorrow night but until then, he heard the comments made about him by Chavo Guerrero earlier this evening. Hornswoggle says that he was proud to be the Cruiserweight Champion at the time but now appreciates that he is not an in-ring performer and that the Cruiserweight Championship will return, and the new Champion of the 205 Live era will be decided next week. Hornswoggle then says that he would like to announce the official referee of 205 Live, a veteran official who will be exclusive to this brand, Chad Patton. A shy Chad Patton then makes his way to the ring and shakes hands with Hornswoggle.

Following another commercial break, Chavo Guerero returns to the ring for tonight’s main event match. John “Bradshaw” Layfield steps into the ring from the commentary table to interview Chavo about Hornswoggle naming himself as the 205 Live General Manager, and Chavo says that it is a sickening decision. JBL jokes that it’s not as bad as having to work with Scott Stanford. Chavo says that he is determined to beat Tajiri tonight and show Hornswoggle that he is the most valuable talent on 205 Live.

Tajiri also makes his way to the ring for tonight’s main event and is joined in the ring by Scott Stanford for a pre-match interview. Scott Stanford notes how his colleague John “Bradshaw” Layfield just interviewed Chavo Guerrero who said he was determined to beat Tajiri tonight to spite the new 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle. Tajiri says that he will show the WWE Universe tonight that he still has what it takes.

Tajiri versus Chavo Guerrero

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chavo Guerrero defeated Tajiri in 18:13 by pinfall with a Frog Splash. The 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Billy Kidman all agree that Tajiri seemed off his game tonight which led to Chavo Guerrero dominating the match, much to the dislike of the WWE Universe in attendance. However, Tajiri made his way back into the contest late on with some swift kicks before ultimately falling victim to a hard DDT followed by Chavo going to the top rope to hit the Frog Splash to pick up the all-important victory.

Friday, Week 3, June, 2014

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar versus John Cena

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar in action as he will take on the former multiple time WWE Champion John Cena in a non-title match. John Cena announced on Twitter earlier today that he has rejoined Friday Night SmackDown after negotiations with the new Friday Night SmackDown General Manager, whose identity will be revealed tonight. A new SmackDown General Manager is needed after the former General Manager, Hornswoggle, was last night revealed to be the General Manger of 205 Live. Cena last competed on SmackDown back in September of 2013 and left after a disagreement with then General Manager Booker T, which eventually led to Booker T being replaced by Hornswoggle. The signing of Cena is a huge boost for SmackDown and a huge loss for Monday Night RAW and the Monday Night RAW Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. However, Cena could not ask for a tougher match back as he will look to pick up the all-important victory against Brock Lesnar, a Superstar that has won over thirty matches in the last year without suffering a single defeat.

The Uso’s versus Prime Time Players

Tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Jimmy and Jey Uso take on the Prime Time Players of Darren Young and Titus O’Neil. We know that this Sunday at the Payback Pay-Per-View, the first ever WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be decided and that as two-time former WWE Tag Team Champions, Jimmy and Jey will be in that match. We do not yet know what other teams will be in the title match on Sunday, however.

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Jason Jordan

The WWE Intercontinental Champion the Miz will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Jason Jordan in a non-title match. It was announced earlier this week on WWE.com that at Payback this Sunday, Miz will put his title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan.

Antonio Cesaro versus Konnor

One half of the former WWE Tag Team Champions Kidd and Cesaro, Antonio Cesaro, will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Konnor. Kidd and Cesaro lost their titles to Big E and Kofi Kingston earlier this month at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View.

Ryback versus CJ Parker

The man who sees himself as a Ring Announcer and has been known to introduce himself in the past, Ryback, will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on CJ Parker, the Hippy.

Naomi versus Portia Perez

Finally, Women’s division action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see Naomi return to take on Portia Perez. This Sunday at Payback will see the return of the Women’s Championship but it is not yet confirmed exactly who will be competing in the title match.
