NXT Instant Classic II (Live from Universal Sound Stage 21 (FL) 1,400 in Attendance)

Alexander Rusev versus Aiden English

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Alexander Rusev defeated Aiden English in 8:03 by submission with an Accolade. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette welcomes the television audience to this evening’s live Instant Classic event as the sole commentator of the evening. Jim Cornette says that tonight will see the NXT Champion Curtis Axel in action against Drew McIntyre in a non-title match and that our main event will see Bobby Roode take on Sin Cara for the first time ever. The NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena then come to their feet as Alexander Rusev makes his way to the ring for our opening contest against Aiden English. The “Warrior” Rusev is well known from competing in front of the WWE Universe on Monday Night RAW earlier this year and even challenged Sheamus for the WWE United States Championship back at Wrestlemania. Rusev dominates the majority of this match against Aiden English, who sees himself as a Movie Star and was on the receiving end of a beatdown from Rusev for most of the match. The NXT Universe in attendance tried to rally behind Aiden English, who has been competing in NXT for over a year now, but ultimately it was Rusev who picks up the all-important victory here after forcing English to submit to the Accolade.

Match Rating: E+

Sugar Dunkerton versus Boone Fry

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Sugar Dunkerton defeated Boone Fry in 7:58 by pinfall with a DDT. Our next contest sees the NXT Universe in attendance inside the NXT Arena fully in support of the “Fun Babyface” Sugar Dunkerton as he manages to defeat the recent WWE Performance Graduate Boone Fry, who loses again tonight after losing his debut match to Wesley Blake just last week.

Match Rating: E

NXT Tag Team Champion Charlotte versus Aksana

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Aksana defeated Charlotte in 7:58 by pinfall with a roll-up. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette announces that the other half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Eve Torres, is not here tonight as the “Every-Man” Eve Torres is away doing charity work. The daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer, the “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, the other half of the NXT Tag Team Champions Charlotte, therefore has to go at it on her own tonight as she takes on the Lithuanian Diva, Aksana. The NXT Universe inside the sold out NXT Arena boo Aksana for the majority of the match, not being excited to see Aksana despite her having years of experience competing in front of the WWE Universe on Friday Night SmackDown. Aksana returned to NXT just last week when she defeated Nicole Matthews at NXT Ain’t That A Shame, and in truth she is more experienced than Charlotte, who plays the “Girl-Next-Door” well despite her lineage. Ultimately, Aksana picks up the upset win here after rolling Charlotte up to secure the pinfall victory.

Match Rating: E-

Steven Walters versus Andy Leavine versus Wesley Blake

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Steven Walters defeated Leavine and Wesley Blake in 14:02 when Steven Walters defeated Leavine by pinfall with an Elbow Drop. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette notes on commentary that Steven Walters, Leavine and Wesley Blake will all be looking to impress him in this Triple Threat match. Steven Walters gets the win here after pinning former Tough Enough winner Leavine with an Elbow Drop from the top rope.

Match Rating: E

Johnny Gargano versus Dustin Rayz

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Johnny Gargano defeated Dustin Rayz in 8:03 by submission with a Gargano-Escape. Despite being Cocky, Johnny Gargano has the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena fully behind him tonight as he makes his NXT debut in perfect fashion by defeating Dustin Rayz by submission.

Match Rating: D-

NXT Arena Championship: Ezekiel Jackson © versus Scott Dawson

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Ezekiel Jackson defeated Scott Dawson in 8:27 by pinfall with a Book of Ezekiel. Ezekiel Jackson makes defence number six of his NXT Arena Championship. The “Bad Ass” Ezekiel Jackson has held the NXT Arena Championship since January when he defeated the inaugural Champion Adam Pearce, and despite the NXT Universe inside the NXT Arena being impressed with the No-Gimmick-Needed mentally of the hard-hitter Scott Dawson, it was Ezekiel Jackson who once again retains his title tonight after hitting Scott Dawson with the Book of Ezekiel.

Match Rating: D-

Non-Title: NXT Champion Curtis Axel versus Drew McIntyre

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Curtis Axel defeated Drew McIntyre in 18:27 by pinfall with a Perfect-Plex. Drew McIntyre once again makes his way to the ring with a hood over his head looking like a Druid as he takes on the NXT Champion Curtis Axel in non-title competition. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette notes on commentary that a win for McIntyre could see him get another NXT Championship opportunity in the future. The son of Mr. Perfect, “Generation Next” Curtis Axel won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back in January but after holding the title for only two days he came to NXT and beat Justin Gabriel for the NXT Championship back in April. Curtis Axel beats Drew McIntyre for the second time in a week tonight after hitting the Perfect -Plex.

Match Rating: C

Sin Cara versus Bobby Roode

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Bobby Roode defeated Sin Cara in 18:27 by pinfall with a Glorious DDT. The NXT General Manager Jim Cornette does in-ring introductions for our main event which sees Bobby Roode, the Egomaniac himself, victorious in his second match on NXT after he defeated Sugar Dunkerton in his NXT debut back in July.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt versus Damien Sandow

The main event of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie and will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt take on Damien Sandow in non-title action. In just a few weeks at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Bray Wyatt will put the WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Xavier Woods and Jinder Mahal, but first he must take on a Superstar very popular with the WWE Universe in Damien Sandow tonight. Although he is seen by some as a bit of a Dancing Fool, Damien Sandow is a former WWE Tag Team Champion having held the titles with his former tag team partner the Miz earlier in the year. Sandow will likely be doing all he can tonight to pick up the all-important victory over the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt.

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno

Tag team action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the WWE Tag Team Champions Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston take on Heath Slater and Rhyno in a non-title match. The WWE Universe learned last week on SmackDown that Jimmy and Jey Uso will challenge Big E and Kofi for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month, using their contractually obligated rematch after Jimmy and Jey lost the titles to Big E and Kofi back at Summerslam.

Non-Title: US Champion and Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. MITB Kevin Owens versus Ted DiBiase

Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. Money in the Bank and the reigning WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens will take on Ted DiBiase in non-title action tonight on SmackDown in what will be DiBiase’s first match since July when he was defeated by Goldust on SmackDown.

R-Truth versus Jinder Mahal

At the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month Jinder Mahal will compete in the biggest match of his career when he will join Xavier Woods in challenging Bray Wyatt for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match, but before then Jinder will take on R-Truth tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.

Mark Henry versus Kenneth Cameron

The “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Kenneth Cameron with Mark Henry looking to prove to the WWE Universe as well as the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie that he is still the Monster that he used to be.

WWE Women’s Champion Naomi and Natalya versus Carmella and Madison Eagles

Finally, tag team action in the Friday Night SmackDown women’s division tonight will see the WWE Women’s Champion Naomi team up with Natalya to take on the team of Carmella and Madison Eagles. Last week on SmackDown Naomi and Natalya were victorious in tag team action against the team of Rain and Carmella after Natalya forced Carmella to tap out, and after the match Rain kicked Carmella in the head. Carmella has therefore found another partner for tonight.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt versus Damien Sandow

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno

Non-Title: US Champion and Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. MITB Kevin Owens versus Ted DiBiase

R-Truth versus Jinder Mahal

Mark Henry versus Kenneth Cameron

WWE Women’s Champion Naomi and Natalya versus Carmella and Madison Eagles

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month)

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Neil Blaisdell Concert Hall (HI), 2,158 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Christina Von Eerie versus Tamina

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Tamina defeated Christina Von Eerie in 18:16 by pinfall with a Samoan Drop. Tamina, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, seemed off her game tonight. This led to Christina Von Eerie dominating the majority of this pre-show women’s division match that went the distance. However, despite being off her game, Tamina was able to turn things around and ultimately pick up the all-important victory.

Match Rating: E-

Pre-Show: The Great Khali and Colt Cabana versus The Uso’s

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Uso's defeated The Great Cabana in 18:01 when Jey Uso defeated The Great Khali by pinfall with an Alley-Us. The Great Khali was visibly tiring towards the end of this pre-show tag team match that went the distance. The huge Khali was unable to keep up with the speed of Jimmy and Jey Uso and that ultimately cost his team the match after Jey Uso pinned Khali to win the match for his team.

Match Rating: D+

(Michael Hayes would seriously consider either turning Jimmy Uso or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

Pre-Show: John Cena versus Dolph Ziggler

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler in 17:50 by pinfall with an Attitude Adjustment. These two main eventers impress the WWE Universe in attendance with a great pre-show match that ends with Cena victorious.

Match Rating: B-

Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt methodically making his way to the ring. Wyatt receives a chorus of boos and jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance as he enters the ring and retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Wyatt says that in just two weeks at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will defend his WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match against two lost souls in Xavier Woods and Jinder Mahal. Bray Wyatt says that Woods is out of his depth competing against the “Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt and that Jinder Mahal should go back to being a musician or a snake-charmer in India, because he’s going to get eaten alive at Night of Champions. Bray Wyatt then says that the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie has given Wyatt another victim in Damien Sandow, who he will face in tonight’s non-title main event. Wyatt says that Sandow is nothing but a Dancing Fool and the fun and games will end for Sandow tonight. Xavier Woods then comes to the ring and walks right up to Wyatt’s face. Xavier Woods grabs the microphone from Wyatt’s hand and says that at Night of Champions he is going to shock the world when Xavier Woods becomes the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Rating: D-

WWE Women’s Champion Naomi and Natalya versus Carmella and Madison Eagles

In an extremely poor match, Naomi and Natalya defeated Carmella and Madison Eagles in 6:46 when Natalya defeated Carmella by submission with a Sharpshooter. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker announce during this tag team match that at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Naomi will once again put her Women’s Championship on the line against Rain.

Match Rating: D

The WWE Women’s Champion Naomi and Natalya celebrate their win in front of the WWE Universe until Rain rushes into the ring and hits Naomi in the back of the head before quickly fleeing the ring as Natalya looks on angrily.

Rating: E-

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big E & Kofi defeated Slater & Rhyno in 8:09 when Big E Langston defeated Heath Slater by pinfall with a Big Ending. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston will put their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships on the line against Jimmy and Jey Uso at Night of Champions, and Big E and Kofi looked good again tonight.

Match Rating: D+

Following their win Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston celebrate in front of the WWE Universe until Jimmy and Jey Uso come to the ringside area. Matt Striker asks Jimmy and Jey if they are ready for their title rematch and Jey Uso says that we will all see a different side of Jimmy and Jey at Night of Champions when they take back their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Rating: D

Non-Title: US Champion & Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. MITB Kevin Owens versus Ted DiBiase

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kevin Owens defeated Ted DiBiase in 8:03 by submission with a Sharpshooter. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that Kevin Owens has been picking up a string of victories recently.

Match Rating: D+

Following his win Kevin Owens won’t let go of the Sharpshooter despite Ted DiBiase screaming in agony. Baron Corbin then comes to the ring and joins Kevin Owens in putting the boots to DiBiase until Jason Jordan rushes to the ring to make the save. Owens and Corbin leave the ring and Owens holds up his Money in the Bank briefcase and his United States Championship, which Corbin stares at.

Rating: E

R-Truth versus Jinder Mahal

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Jinder Mahal defeated R-Truth in 8:25 by pinfall with a Sands of Time. R-Truth seemed off his game tonight as he was defeated by Jinder Mahal.

Match Rating: D-

Following his victory Jinder Mahal takes a microphone and declares that at Night of Champions he will beat both Bray Wyatt and Xavier Woods to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt then appears on the titan Tron and tells Jinder Mahal to watch what he does to Damien Sandow tonight.

Rating: D-

Following a commercial break we cut backstage to find Damien Sandow looking into a camera. Sandow says that earlier tonight Bray Wyatt called Sandow a “Dancing Fool”. Sandow says that he will prove that he is no fool when he beats Wyatt tonight.

Rating: D+

Mark Henry versus Kenneth Cameron

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Mark Henry defeated Kenneth Cameron in 6:03 by pinfall with a World's Strongest Slam. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that Mark Henry isn’t done yet as he looked dominant tonight.

Match Rating: D

We cut backstage to find Arn Anderson and Cameron walking into the office of the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie. Arn Anderson says that he has been impressed with Cameron’s improvements recently, and Eva Marie looks at Cameron before slapping her across the face with Anderson looking shocked.

Rating: F+

Non-Title: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt versus Damien Sandow

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Bray Wyatt defeated Damien Sandow in 16:07 by pinfall with a Standing Senton Splash. Bray Wyatt was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to get the win.

Match Rating: C

(Ricky Steamboat would seriously consider either turning Bray Wyatt or trying a new gimmick as he has become a stale character and needs a shake-up.)

Post-Show: Christian versus Tyson Kidd

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Christian defeated Tyson Kidd in 12:55 by submission. Christian and Tyson Kidd don’t seem to click as opponents and it made for an awkward bout.

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Neil Blaisdell Concert Hall (HI) 2,158 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Jessie McKay versus Cheerleader Melissa

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Jessie McKay defeated Cheerleader Melissa in 17:50 by pinfall with a School Girl Crush. Unfortunately this pre-show match needed to be a lot shorter given who was involved with the majority of the WWE Universe having no idea who either competitor was despite both women having been around the Monday Night RAW roster for several months now. Nevertheless, Jessie McKay picks up the all-important victory here.

Match Rating: D+

Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Rollins & Ambrose defeated Brodus & Riley in 17:43 when Seth Rollins defeated Alex Riley by pinfall with a Phoenix Splash. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler take up their positions at ringside prior to this tag team match getting underway that sees the Shield pairing of Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose victorious over Brodus Clay and Alex Riley after Rollins hits Riley with an incredible Phoenix Splash.

Match Rating: C+

Pre-Show: Evan Bourne versus Kassius Ohno

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Kassius Ohno defeated Evan Bourne in 17:35 by pinfall with a Rolling Elbow. This match was too long given who was involved despite both Superstars having competed on Monday Night RAW for years now.

Match Rating: D

Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. The “Beast” is not joined by his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn tonight and receives a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance as he enters the ring and takes a microphone from the ringside area. Brock Lesnar says that he has been given the opportunity by the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox to take Luke Gallows to “Suplex City” in tonight’s non-title main event and says that he wants everyone to watch when he beats Luke Gallows tonight just like he beat the other half of Resurrection, Matt Hardy, last week on RAW. Brock Lesnar says that his dominance is going to continue all the way up to the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View in just a few weeks when he will beat both William Regal and Roman Reigns in the Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match and retain his Universal Championship. Alberto Del Rio then comes to the ring and retrieves a microphone of his own. Del Rio reminds Brock Lesnar that he still has title ambitions of his own, but before Del Rio can say anything else he is interrupted by Roman Reigns and William Regal who come to the entrance-way. Regal has a microphone and guarantees that one of Reigns or Regal will leave Night of Champions as the new WWE Universal Champion. Reigns and Regal then head to the back.

Rating: C-

WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks versus Raquel Diaz and Sexy Star

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks defeated Raquel Diaz and Sexy Star in 6:54 when Alexa Bliss defeated Raquel Diaz by pinfall. Road Dogg once again accompanied his client, the WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss, to ringside for this match much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. Road Dogg shouted vocal instructions throughout the match which led to Alexa pinning Diaz to win the match for her team.

Match Rating: E

Following their victory Alexa Bliss, her manager Road Dogg and Sasha Banks celebrate in front of the WWE Universe until Audrey Marie and Rain come to the ring. Rain announces that at Night of Champions Alexa Bliss will put her title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Sasha Banks and Audrey Marie. Alexa Bliss then slaps Audrey Marie across the face.

Rating: F

Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Antonio Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger & Tensai

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Bar defeated Swagger & Tensai in 7:41 when Antonio Cesaro defeated Jack Swagger by pinfall with a Brogue Kick. Robbie Brookside accompanied his clients, the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro, to ringside for this non-title match. Sheamus and Cesaro looked great and Cesaro won the match for his team by pinning Swagger after Sheamus had taken him out with a Brogue Kick.

Rating: D

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Zack Ryder

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Miz defeated Zack Ryder in 8:26 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. Zack Ryder seemed off his game tonight which led to the Intercontinental Champion the Miz getting the win here.

Match Rating: C-

Following his victory the Miz takes a microphone from the ringside area to address the WWE Universe in attendance. Rating: D-

The Miz is interrupted by Dean Ambrose who makes his way to the entrance-way with a microphone of his own in hand. Dean Ambrose says that now he is a part of the Shield he is determined to win back the Intercontinental title.

Rating: D+

We cut backstage to find Seth Rollins flirting with Rosa Mendes. Seth Rollins tells Rosa that his Shield buddy Dean Ambrose may have gotten a little ahead of himself as it will be Seth Rollins who will soon hold Intercontinental Championship gold.

Non-Title: WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne versus Sami Zayn

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Pete Dunne defeated Sami Zayn in 6:53 by pinfall. Pete Dunne and Sami Zayn don’t seem to click at all as opponents, and it made for an awkward bout here.

Match Rating: E+

Following the conclusion of the match Pete Dunne is joined in the ring by Danny Burch, Troy McClain and Leo Kruger and the four men attack Sami Zayn until Tyler Bate, Fatsuhiko Nakajima and Alex Riley rush to the ring to make the save.

Santino Marella versus Monday Night RAW’s Mr. Money in the Bank Kane

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kane defeated Santino Marella in 7:31 by pinfall with a Tombstone Piledriver. Kane seemed off his game tonight but was still able to beat Santino.

Match Rating: D+

Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring and introduces the man who is training his Shield clients Roman Reigns and William Regal ahead of the Hell in a Cell match at Night of Champions, Kevin Nash. “Big Sexy” Kevin Nash then joins Heyman in the ring until Rob Van Dam comes to the ring and says that he is fed up of old timers like Nash who can’t even compete anymore taking up screen time. Triple H then comes to the entrance-way and says that he agrees with RVD and promises RVD a match with a debuting fresh young Superstar at Night of Champions.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live:

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Chris Jericho

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out by the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle and will see the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville take on Chris Jericho in non-title action. Since defeating Rich Swann to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion and the first Cruiserweight Champion of the 205 Live era back in June, Neville has been victorious in every match that he has competed in except for one. Neville’s one blemish came last month on 205 Live when he lost a non-title match to Chris Jericho. After a one month absence from 205 Live Chris Jericho made his return last week with victory over JTG and tonight Y2J will again look to pick up an all-important non-title victory against Adrian Neville. Despite his reputation as a “Cheeky Monkey” and somebody who likes to joke around with the WWE Universe, Jericho has competed all over the world in a twenty-three year career including numerous Championship reigns, even being a former four-time Cruiserweight Champion. Jericho has competed in hundreds of matches on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown and has now come to 205 Live and looks to make a big impact here. Adrian Neville will likely have his British Ambition tag team partner Oliver Grey as well as their personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez by his side tonight as Neville looks to defeat Jericho and build momentum heading into the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View in just a few weeks when he will put his WWE Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Rey Mysterio.

Chad Gable versus Enzo Amore

Last week on 205 Live saw Enzo Amore made his debut appearance on 205 Live, interrupting Rich Swann and telling the WWE Universe that he had been signed by the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle to make 205 Live interesting. Enzo Amore was immediately challenged to a match at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View by Rich Swann which Enzo accepted. Tonight the little “Guido” from New Jersey who likes to say that “The king of the jungle is a lion, not an elephant” in reference to his short stature, will make his 205 Live in-ring debut as he takes on Chad Gable.

TJ Perkins versus Epico

Following an impressive victory over Chavo Guerrero last week on 205 Live, TJ Perkins was celebrating with the WWE Universe in attendance until he was attacked from behind by the masked Kalisto, who then took a microphone and said that people like TJ Perkins shouldn’t be in this country. Following the assault at the hands of Kalisto and the controversial comments, TJ Perkins will return to in-ring action tonight as he will take on Epico.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Chris Jericho

WWE 205 Live (Live from the Maehara Stadium (HI), 1,319 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Tajiri versus Tommaso Ciampa

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Tommaso Ciampa defeated Tajiri in 18:27 by submission with a Project Ciampa II. Unfortunately this pre-show match was too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe in attendance not knowing too much about Tommaso Ciampa despite Ciampa having made his 205 Live debut a few weeks ago following a period competing inside the NXT Arena in front of the NXT Universe. Ciampa ultimately picks up the all-important victory over the former Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri here after forcing the “Japanese Buzzsaw” to submit.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: Rich Swann versus Mark Haskins

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Rich Swann defeated Mark Haskins in 18:16 by pinfall with a Chicken Fried Driver. The British star Mark Haskins seemed off his game tonight in this pre-show match against the Fan Favourite Rich Swann. The WWE Universe were fully behind Rich Swann for the majority of this match which ended with Rich Swann hitting Hasking with the Chicken Fried Driver. Rich Swann continues to build momentum on 205 Live heading into his match with Enzo Amore at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month.

Match Rating: F+

Tonight’s episode of 205 Live kicks off with the 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman welcoming the television audience to the broadcast and announcing that in tonight’s main event the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville will take on Chris Jericho in a non-title match. Ricardo Rodriguez then makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos and jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance and retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Rodriguez then introduces his clients, the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and the man chiseled from stone, Oliver Grey. The British Ambition pairing of Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey then make their way to the ring and Rodriguez hands the microphone to the Cocky Cruiserweight Champion Neville. Adrian Neville says that in just a few weeks at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will defeat the masked coward known as Rey Mysterio once again to retain his WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Neville says that Rey Mysterio represents the past whereas Neville represents the present and the future as the King of the Cruiserweights. Neville says that speaking of the past, tonight the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle has put Neville in a non-title main event match against Chris Jericho. Neville says that Jericho may have been a former Cruiserweight Champion decades ago but that now he is a broken down old man and that Jericho’s victory over Neville in a non-title match last month was a fluke and that tonight Neville will restore order by beating Jericho and everyone will soon forget Jericho’s victory, the one blemish on Neville’s perfect winning streak since winning the Cruiserweight Championship. The trio of Neville, Oliver Grey and Ricardo Rodriguez then leave the ring and head to the back as 205 Live heads to its first commercial break of the evening.

Rating: D-

TJ Perkins versus Epico

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, TJ Perkins defeated Epico in 8:20 by pinfall with a Running Single Leg High Knee Strike. The masked midget in a bull costume known as El Torito accompanied the former WWE Tag Team Champion Epico to ringside for this match but it was TJ Perkins who picked up the win here.

Match Rating: D

Following his victory the Fan Favourite TJ Perkins celebrates in front of the WWE Universe before for the second week in a row the masked Kalisto makes his way to the ring and attacks TJ Perkins from behind. Kalisto is wearing a hooded white mask in the style of a KKK member as he kicks TJ Perkins in the leg from behind. Kalisto continues to kick the fallen TJ Perkins before retrieving a microphone from the ringside area. Kalisto says that people like TJ Perkins shouldn’t be in this country and announces that he has confirmed with the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle that Kalisto will face TJ Perkins at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month.

Rating: E

Following a commercial break we cut backstage to find Enzo Amore in the office of the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle tells Enzo Amore that he has a chance to impress in his in-ring 205 Live debut tonight before he faces Rich Swann at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Enzo Amore tells Hornswoggle that he will take his opponent to school tonight and beat the “nobody” Rich Swann at Night of Champions and will be the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion by the end of the year. Hornswoggle tells Enzo Amore he should go to the ring because his match with Chad Gable is coming up next.

Rating: F

Chad Gable versus Enzo Amore

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Enzo Amore defeated Chad Gable in 6:47 by pinfall. The 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Billy Kidman all agree that Enzo Amore looked impressive in his 205 Live in-ring debut and that he may well be able to defeat the Fan Favourite Rich Swann at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View.

Match Rating: E+

Following his victory Enzo Amore celebrates in front of the WWE Universe who give him a mixed reaction at best before the Fan Favourite Rich Swann makes his way to the ring to a much better reaction. Rich Swann and Enzo Amore stare each other down in the ring before Enzo backs down and heads to the back.

Rating: F+

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Chris Jericho

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Chris Jericho defeated Adrian Neville in 14:15 by submission with a Walls of Jericho. Ricardo Rodriguez accompanied Adrian Neville to the ring but it was Jericho who again got the victory over the Cruiserweight Champion tonight after forcing Neville to tap out to the Walls of Jericho.

Friday, Week 2, September, 2014

http://www.daddyshangout.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Smackdown-Logo.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton versus Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie and will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt team up with his New Wyatt Family “brother” Randy Orton to take on the team of Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat. At the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month Bray Wyatt will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Xavier Woods and Jinder Mahal but before then Wyatt will be looking to build momentum heading into his title defence with an all-important victory in tag team action. The WWE Universe saw Wyatt and Orton team up for the first time back in June at the Payback Pay-Per-View when the pair competed for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships and with Wyatt now the WWE Champion the New Wyatt Family have the potential to be the most powerful force in the WWE.

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno

The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston will be in action in a non-title tag team match tonight against the pair of Heath Slater and Rhyno. At the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month Big E and Kofi will put their titles on the line against the former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso after Big E and Kofi beat the Uso’s for the titles back at Summerslam last month in a Triple Threat tag team match also involving the Rhodes Dynasty.

Non-Title: US Champion and Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. MITB Kevin Owens versus Ryback

The WWE United States Champion as well as the holder of Friday Night SmackDown’s Money in the Bank briefcase, Kevin Owens, will take on Ryback in non-title action tonight on SmackDown. The “Bad Ass” Kevin Owens is undefeated since winning the US Championship back in June.

Justin Gabriel versus Dolph Ziggler

The former NXT Champion Justin Gabriel will be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as he will take on Dolph Ziggler. Since winning the Royal Rumble match earlier this year and failing to win the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania, Dolph Ziggler has been seen by some as a “Dork” who can’t win the big one and Ziggler will be hoping a win tonight will help to get his career back on track.

Damien Sandow versus Tye Dillinger

After losing to Bray Wyatt in last week’s Friday Night SmackDown non-title main event, Damien Sandow will be hoping to prove that he isn’t just a Dancing Fool when he takes on Tye Dillinger tonight.

WWE Women’s Champion Naomi, Natalya and Summer Rae versus Rain, Portia Perez and Paige

Finally, women’s division action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see the WWE Women’s Champion Naomi team up with Natalya and Summer Rae to take on the trio of Rain, Portia Perez and Paige. The WWE Universe last week witnessed Rain attack Naomi once again before declaring that she will challenge Naomi for the WWE Women’s Championship at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month. Naomi has recently been coming to the ring in a head dress and embracing her Native American roots, and has won every match that she has competed in this year other than a tag team loss back in April at NXT Falling Apart.

Quick Picks:

WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton versus Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno

Non-Title: US Champion and Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. MITB Kevin Owens versus Ryback

Justin Gabriel versus Dolph Ziggler

Damien Sandow versus Tye Dillinger

WWE Women’s Champion Naomi, Natalya and Summer Rae versus Rain, Portia Perez and Paige

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month)

WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (Live from Cumberland Crown Coliseum (NC), 7,071 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Becky Lynch versus Layla

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Becky Lynch defeated Layla in 18:07 by pinfall with a Hard Knox. Becky Lynch, the Irish “Lass kicker”, was visibly tiring towards the end of this women’s division match against the former WWE Divas Champion Layla. In a match that went the distance, and despite being so tired, Becky Lynch was ultimately able to pick up the all-important victory here after hitting Layla with her Hard Knox finishing maneuver.

Match Rating: E+

Pre-Show: R-Truth and Christian versus Rhodes Dynasty

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Rhodes Dynasty defeated Truth & Christian in 17:49 when Goldust defeated R-Truth by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team of Josh Mathews, Joey Styles and Matt Striker took up their positions at ringside prior to this tag team pre-show match taking place that saw the Rhodes Dynasty of Goldust and Stardust defeat R-Truth after Stardust hit R-Truth with the Cross Rhodes before taking Christian out on the apron allowing Goldust to pin R-Truth.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Mark Henry versus Drake Younger

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Mark Henry defeated Drake Younger in 18:29 by submission with a Bear Hug. Mark Henry was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to get the win after forcing Drake Younger to submit to a Bear Hug.

Match Rating: D

Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt making his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe, and some cheers can be heard as others turn on the flashlights on their phones during Wyatt’s entrance. Once in the ring Bray Wyatt retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that in just a few weeks at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will beat both Jinder Mahal and Xavier Woods in the Triple Threat match to retain the WWE Championship, and prove that he really does have the whole world in his hands. Bray Wyatt then says that the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie has made a tag team match for tonight’s main event as Wyatt will team up with his New Wyatt Family brother Randy Orton to take on the team of Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat. Wyatt says that it is an honour to fight alongside the “Viper” tonight, and the Viper and the Eater of Worlds will be hungry to decimate their opponents tonight. Jinder Mahal then comes to the entrance-way with a microphone in hand. Jinder Mahal says that Bray Wyatt can speak in as many riddles as he wants but he is still a pathetic man, a pathetic American man trying to please the sheep in the audience. Jinder Mahal says that he will leave Night of Champions as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Rating: E

WWE Women’s Champion Naomi, Natalya and Summer Rae versus Rain, Portia Perez and Paige

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Naomi, Summer Rae and Natalya defeated Rain, Portia Perez and Paige in 6:43 when Natalya defeated Portia Perez by submission with a Sharpshooter. Unfortunately a pretty vocal crowd in attendance didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Summer Rae wrestle, and it would appear that large sections of the WWE Universe don’t feel that Summer Rae has what it takes to compete in the ring despite Summer Rae having competed on Friday Night SmackDown for several months now. Natalya wins this match for her team after forcing Portia Perez to tap out to the Sharpshooter.

Match Rating: D-

Following the conclusion of the match Natalya celebrates with her partners in front of the WWE Universe before Naomi and Summer Rae head to the back. Natalya takes a microphone and challenges any woman on the roster to a match at Night of Champions, and Carmella comes to the ring and accepts the challenge. Carmella then runs at Natalya but Natalya side steps and Carmella goes flying out of the ring.

Rating: E-

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Big E & Kofi defeated Slater & Rhyno in 7:34 when Big E Langston defeated Heath Slater by pinfall with a Big Ending. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note how Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston will put the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships on the line against Jimmy and Jey Uso at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View later this month.

Match Rating: D+

Following their victory Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston celebrate in front of the WWE Universe until Jimmy and Jey Uso make their way to the ring. We see another side to Jimmy and Jey tonight as they enter the ring and hit Big E and Kofi with simultaneous super kicks before picking up the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships and standing over the fallen Champions.

Rating: D-

Non-Title: US Champion & Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. MITB Kevin Owens versus Ryback

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kevin Owens defeated Ryback in 7:58 by pinfall with a Package Piledriver. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team discuss how Owens has looked unstoppable since winning both the US title and the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Match Rating: C

Following his victory Kevin Owens lifts up both the US Championship and the Money in the Bank briefcase until an unfamiliar piece of music starts playing and none other but AJ Styles makes his way to the ring! AJ Styles says that he has been the Franchise Player of another company for the past decade and now he is here to be the Franchise Player of the WWE, and he wants to start that by winning the US Championship.

Rating: C+

Justin Gabriel versus Dolph Ziggler

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Dolph Ziggler defeated Justin Gabriel in 8:22 by pinfall with a Zig Zag. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team use this match to discuss the shocking debut of AJ Styles moments ago as Ziggler gets the win here.

Match Rating: C-

Dolph Ziggler celebrates his win in front of the WWE Universe until, on a night of shocks, none other than Bobby Roode makes his way to the entrance-way. Roode has a microphone and says that he will admit that is an Egomaniac, but that his ego is backed up by his performances and his bank balance. Bobby Roode then introduces the man who will have his back on SmackDown, Baron Corbin, who comes out as the bodyguard of Bobby Roode.

Rating: C-

Damien Sandow versus Tye Dillinger

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Damien Sandow defeated Tye Dillinger in 7:09 by pinfall with a Terminus. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team discuss how the landscape has changed with the arrivals of AJ Styles and Bobby Roode as Sandow gets the win in this match.

Match Rating: C-

We cut backstage to find Richie Steamboat doing some final preparations before tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown tag team main event when Randy Orton rushes into the room and throws Steamboat shoulder first into the wall before fleeing the scene.

Rating: D-

WWE World Champion Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton versus Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The New Wyatt Family defeated Woods & Steamboat in 14:14 when Bray Wyatt defeated Xavier Woods by pinfall with a RKO. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team note that, despite coming to the ring for this match, Richie Steamboat is clearly suffering from the attack from Orton moments ago. Randy Orton dominates the match before hitting Xavier Woods with an RKO and tagging in Bray Wyatt to get the pinfall victory.

Match Rating: C

Post-Show: Big Show versus Percy Watson

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Big Show defeated Percy Watson in 13:11 by pinfall with a Choke Slam. The Friday Night SmackDown commentary team remained at ringside to watch this one.

Tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring to a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance. The “Beast” Brock Lesnar is without his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn tonight as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Brock Lesnar says that he is out here to speak for himself tonight before he has been given another gift by the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox tonight in a non-title main event match against Kassius Ohno. Brock Lesnar says that he has never had the chance to take Ohno to Suplex City but that will change tonight. Brock then says that this Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will beat both Roman Reigns and William Regal of the Shield in their Triple Threat match to retain the WWE Universal Championship once again. Brock says the fact that the match will occur inside the Hell in a Cell structure does not faze him, as Brock has history of competing inside a cage. Seth Rollins then comes to the ring and takes a microphone of his own, and says that he has just spoken to the RAW General Manager Brad Maddox and can confirm that at Night of Champions this Sunday, Rollins will join Dean Ambrose, Alberto Del Rio, Kane and Shinsuke Nakamura in challenging the Miz for the Intercontinental Championship in a Six Pack Challenge. Roman Reigns and William Regal then come to the entrance-way and Regal has a microphone and says that the Shield will leave Night of Champions with both the Universal and the Intercontinental Championships.

Rating: C

Divas Champion Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks & Nikki Bella vs. Audrey Marie, Beth Phoenix & Raquel Diaz

Road Dogg accompanied the WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss to ringside for this Six Diva tag team match and acted as cheerleader at ringside, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. This match also sees the return of Nikki Bella to Monday Night RAW for the first time in months. Alexa Bliss builds momentum heading into her title defence this Sunday by pinning Raquel Diaz to win the match for her team.

Match Rating: E+

Following her victory Alexa Bliss celebrates in the ring with Road Dogg and the WWE Universe and the other women all head to the back other than Audrey Marie, who is joined by Rain. Audrey Marie and Rain enter the ring and Rain says that her best friend Audrey Marie will beat both Alexa and Sasha Banks in their Triple Threat match this Sunday to become the new Divas Champion.

Rating: E-

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Zack Ryder

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Miz defeated Zack Ryder in 8:18 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. Michael Cole and Jerry “The King” Lawler argue on commentary about the Miz having a chance of retaining the Intercontinental Championship in the Six Pack Challenge this Sunday at Night of Champions.

Match Rating: C

Following his victory the Miz celebrates in front of the WWE Universe until Dean Ambrose joins the Miz in the ring. Ambrose takes a microphone and tells the Miz that this Sunday at Night of Champions he will win the Six Pack Challenge and win back the Intercontinental Championship.

Rating: D

As the Miz and Dean Ambrose stare one another down in the ring the WWE Universe roars in approval as the Rock makes his way to the ring. The Rock snatches the microphone from Dean Ambrose and mocks both the Miz and Ambrose in a way only the Rock can.

Rating: C

Non-Title: WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne versus Alex Riley

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Pete Dunne defeated Alex Riley in 6:47 by submission. Pete Dunne was really off his game tonight but the WWE United Kingdom Champion was still able to force Alex Riley to tap out to get the win here.

Match Rating: E

Following the match Pete Dunne begins to attack Alex Riley and Danny Burch, Troy McClain and Leo Kruger soon come to the ring and join Dunne in assaulting Riley before Tyler Bate, Fatsuhiko Nakajima and Sami Zayn rush to the ring to make the save.

Match Rating: D+

Following his victory the masked Kane lifts up his Money in the Bank briefcase over his head before Alberto Del Rio and his manager X-Pac come to the ring. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live:

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Rich Swann

The main event of tonight’s edition of 205 Live was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle and will see the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville take on Rich Swann in non-title action. Last week on 205 Live the Cocky Cruiserweight Champion Neville came to the ring with his British Ambition tag team partner and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez and told the WWE Universe that he would beat Chris Jericho in last week’s non-title main event only for Y2J to make Neville tap out to the Walls of Jericho in the main event last week to claim his second victory over the Cruiserweight Champion. Tonight Neville must focus on his opponent Rich Swann, who will be doing everything in his power to pick up the all-important victory over the Cruiserweight Champion Neville in the hopes of gaining a future title opportunity. Both of these Superstars have important matches this Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View as Neville will put his WWE Cruiserweight Championship on the line against the masked former multiple-time Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio whilst Rich Swann will take on Enzo Amore this Sunday after Enzo Amore has called Rich Swann a “nobody” for the past few weeks. Rich Swann is a huge Fan Favourite among the WWE Universe and tonight’s match with Neville will actually be the first time that these two have faced off since their first meeting back in June when Adrian Neville beat Rich Swann to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion in a match to decide the first ever Cruiserweight Champion of the 205 Live era.

TJ Perkins versus Buddy Murphy

Another Fan Favourite among the WWE Universe, TJ Perkins, will be in action tonight on 205 Live as he will take on Buddy Murphy. TJ Perkins will take on Kalisto, the masked and highly controversial Superstar; this Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View after Kalisto has repeatedly attacked TJ Perkins in recent weeks and claimed that people like TJ Perkins shouldn’t be here.

Chris Jericho versus Simon Gotch

Finally, the “Cheeky Monkey” and former Cruiserweight Champion himself Chris Jericho will be in action tonight on 205 Live when he will take on Simon Gotch. After another huge victory over the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville in last week’s non-title main event, Jericho will be looking to impress the WWE Universe as well as the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle with another victory tonight against Simon Gotch, who made his 205 Live debut back in July in a losing effort against Rich Swann and returned last month to lose again, this time to Chad Gable.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Rich Swann

TJ Perkins versus Buddy Murphy

Chris Jericho versus Simon Gotch

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month.)

WWE 205 Live (Live from the Maryland Theatre (MD), 1,350 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Chad Gable versus Chavo Guerrero

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chad Gable defeated Chavo Guerrero in 17:56 by pinfall. Chad Gable and Chavo Guerrero have pretty good chemistry as opponents, and it lifted the match. This pre-show contest went the distance and saw the former USA Olympian Chad Gable pick up the all-important victory over the former multiple-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero by using his mix of mat based wrestling and luchador style.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Tajiri versus A.R. Fox

In an extremely poor match, A.R. Fox defeated Tajiri in 17:53 by pinfall with a Krunch. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved with the WWE Universe not yet caring about A.R. Fox and also having little reason to believe that the former Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri would win this match after his run of defeats as of late. A.R. Fox may one day have a future on 205 Live whereas Tajiri’s career seems to be going downhill fast and the Martial Artist “Japanese Buzzsaw” suffers yet another defeat here.

Match Rating: E+

The 205 Live commentary team of Scott Stanford, John “Bradshaw” Layfield and the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman welcome the television audience to tonight’s episode and announce that in the main event tonight the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville will take on Rich Swann in non-title action. Ricardo Rodriguez then makes his way to the ring to a chorus of boos and jeers from the WWE Universe in attendance. Rodriguez takes a microphone from ringside and introduces his clients, the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and his “British Ambition” tag team partner Oliver Grey. Neville and Grey then join Rodriguez in the ring and Adrian Neville takes the microphone. The Cocky Neville says that tonight he will beat Rich Swann in tonight’s main event and show to all of the peasants in attendance that he is truly the one and only King of the Cruiserweights. Neville says that he doesn’t care that Rich Swann is a Fan Favourite, as Rich Swann isn’t fit to tie Neville’s boots in the ring and that Neville already proved this back in June when he beat Rich Swann to become the first ever WWE Cruiserweight Champion of the 205 Live era. Neville says that the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle is welcome to continue to search Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown for potential talent, but that nothing will stop Neville from continuing his reign as the King of the Cruiserweights, the greatest Cruiserweight Champion of all time. Neville then addresses his challenger this Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, Rey Mysterio. Neville says that Rey Mysterio is a coward who wears a mask and that he has been too cowardly to even show his face on 205 Live, instead only showing up when he gets given title opportunities. Neville says that he will beat Mysterio again this Sunday to retain his title. Neville, Grey and Ricardo Rodriguez then leave the ring and head to the back as 205 Live heads to its first commercial break of the evening.

Rating: E-

Chris Jericho versus Simon Gotch

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Jericho defeated Simon Gotch in 8:06 by pinfall with a Code Breaker. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved as despite Jericho being very popular among the WWE Universe they are not interested in Simon Gotch, who acted like a Sidekick to Y2J in this match.

Match Rating: D+

Following another commercial break we cut backstage to find Rich Swann preparing for tonight’s 205 Live non-title main event against the Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville when Enzo Amore walks into the room. Enzo Amore tells Rich Swann that he will be watching tonight’s main event closely, fully expecting Rich Swann to choke once again just like he will this Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when he faces Enzo. Amore tells Swann that he is a nobody whereas Enzo Amore will be the Cruiserweight Champion by the end of the year. Enzo Amore then leaves the room leaving Rich Swann looking determined to prove Enzo wrong by beating Adrian Neville tonight.

Rating: F+

TJ Perkins versus Buddy Murphy

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, TJ Perkins defeated Buddy Murphy in 7:58 by submission with a Figure Four Deathlock. A pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Buddy Murphy wrestle tonight with some sections of the WWE Universe feeling that Buddy Murphy is not yet ready for the stage of 205 Live. Perhaps Buddy Murphy also smelt bad as he looked like a Bum again as he taps out to TJ Perkins here.

Match Rating: E+

Following his victory TJ Perkins celebrates in front of the WWE Universe before he is once again attacked from behind by Kalisto. Wearing a white mask that looks like something a KKK member might wear, Kalisto kicks the Fan Favourite in the groin before taking a microphone from the ringside area and telling the WWE Universe in attendance that he will beat TJ Perkins this Sunday and prove that people like TJ Perkins shouldn’t be here.

Rating: E

We cut backstage to find Enzo Amore in the office of the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle, and Enzo wants to know when he will get a shot at the Cruiserweight Championship. Hornswoggle says that if Enzo can beat Rich Swann this Sunday then maybe he will earn a title opportunity.

Rating: F+

Non-Title: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville versus Rich Swann

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Adrian Neville defeated Rich Swann in 13:35 by pinfall with a 630° Senton. Adrian Neville and Rich Swann have great chemistry as opponents and it lifted the match. Ultimately the Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville gets the win here.

The main event of tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie and will see the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bray Wyatt take on Jinder Mahal in non-title action. This Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Bray Wyatt will defend the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match against both Jinder Mahal and Xavier Woods but before then he must first go through Jinder Mahal in non-title action tonight. Jinder Mahal will be looking to do all he can to pick up the all-important victory tonight to build momentum heading into the title match this Sunday and prove to the WWE Universe that he is Championship potential. The “Eater of Worlds” showed his Braveheart leadership skills last week as he teamed up with his New Wyatt Family “brother” Randy Orton to defeat the team of Xavier Woods and Richie Steamboat and Randy Orton may well be watching tonight’s main event closely as well.

Non-Title: WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Kofi Kingston versus Team Gorgeous

This Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston will put their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships on the line against the Uso’s in Jimmy and Jey Uso’s contractually obligated rematch after losing the titles to Big E and Kofi last month at Summerslam. Last week on SmackDown we saw a different side to Jimmy and Jey as they laid out Big E and Kofi with a pair of super kicks but Big E and Kofi will have to focus on their match tonight on Friday Night SmackDown as they will take on the “Team Gorgeous” pairing of Tyler Breeze and Knuckles Madsen in non-title action.

Non-Title: US Champion and Friday Night SmackDown’s Mr. MITB Kevin Owens versus Fandango

WWE Women’s Champion Naomi, Kelly Kelly & Hailey Hatred versus Rain, Carmella and Maxine

Women’s division action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown will see a six-woman tag team match as the WWE Women’s Champion Naomi will team up with Kelly Kelly and Hailey Hatred to take on the team of Rain, Carmella and Maxine. This Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Naomi will once again put her WWE Women’s Championship on the line against Rain whereas Carmella will take on Natalya this Sunday after Natalya challenged any woman on the roster last week, a challenge that Carmella accepted. Both Naomi and Rain will be hoping that they can lead their teams to victory tonight leading into the title match this Sunday.

Wyatt receives a decent reception from the WWE Universe in attendance as he retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Bray Wyatt says that the Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Eva Marie has given him a gift in the form of a non-title match against Jinder Mahal tonight in SmackDown’s main event and that tonight he wants to show that he is a Braveheart and can get things done on his own, and urges his New Wyatt Family brother Randy Orton not to get involved with Jinder Mahal tonight. The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View:

WWE Universal Championship: Hell in a Cell: Brock Lesnar © vs. Roman Reigns vs. William Regal

The main event of tonight’s Night of Champions Pay-Per-View will see Brock Lesnar put the WWE Universal Championship on the line in a Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match against two Shield members in Roman Reigns and William Regal. The Shield was originally formed by Paul Heyman to try to get the WWE World Heavyweight Champion off of Lesnar after Brock Lesnar chose to stop associating himself with Heyman and instead took on Billy Gunn as his new in—ring mentor. After losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back in June, Brock Lesnar defeated Kevin Owens the next night on Monday Night RAW to become the new WWE Universal Champion, ending the inaugural reign of Kevin Owens after just twenty-four hours. Since then Brock has made two successful title defences, defeating Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank and Randy Orton at Summerslam last month. Can Brock Lesnar pick up the all-important victory again tonight inside Hell in a Cell and leave with the Universal Championship?

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Bray Wyatt © versus Xavier Woods versus Jinder Mahal

Last month at Summerslam Bray Wyatt shocked the WWE Universe when he defeated Damien Sandow, Jinder Mahal and the former WWE Champion Seth Rollins in a Fatal Four-Way match to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Tonight Bray Wyatt will look to make his first successful title defence as he puts the WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Xavier Woods and Jinder Mahal. This past week on Friday Night SmackDown Bray Wyatt said that he wanted to go alone and effectively disbanded the New Wyatt Family.

WWE RAW Tag Team Championships: The Bar © versus Resurrection (Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows)

Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro, known by the WWE Universe as “The Bar” will put the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships on the line tonight against the Resurrection pairing of Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows. This is Resurrection’s contractually obligated rematch after losing the titles to the Bar back at Summerslam last month, and a match that Hardy and Gallows were asking the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox for over the course of many weeks.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships: Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston © versus The Uso’s

Last month at Summerslam Big E Langston and Kofi Kingston defeated Jimmy and Jey Uso to become the new WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions, ending the reign of Jimmy and Jey who were the first ever WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions after winning them back in June at Payback. Tonight Jimmy and Jey will get their contractually obligated rematch and we have seen a more aggressive side of the Uso’s in recent weeks.

IC Title: Miz © vs. Mr. MITB Kane vs. Del Rio vs. Ambrose vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Seth Rollins

Back in July on Monday Night RAW the Miz defeated the former Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion once again in a Fatal Five-Way match that also included Monday Night RAW’s Money in the Bank briefcase holder Kane, Alberto Del Rio and William Regal. Last month at Summerslam the Miz made his first successful title defence in another Fatal Five-Way match against Kane, Del Rio, Ambrose and Shinsuke Nakamura and tonight the Miz will have one more challenger as Seth Rollins has been added to the equation as the Miz puts the Intercontinental title on the line in a Six Pack challenge.

US Title: Mr. MITB Kevin Owens © vs. AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Bobby Roode vs. Baron Corbin

Kevin Owens has been a complete Bad Ass since beating Sheamus back in June on Friday Night SmackDown to become the new US Champion and added another accolade to his collection when he won the SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match in July. Since then Owens has made three successful defences of the US title, once with a win over Chris Jericho, one Fatal Four-Way victory against Xavier Woods, Baron Corbin and Daniel Bryan and most recently a victory over Yoshi Tatsu. Tonight Owens faces his toughest challenge yet as he puts the title on the line in a Fatal Five-Way match against AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Bobby Roode and Baron Corbin.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Adrian Neville © versus Rey Mysterio

Since winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship back in June to become the first ever Cruiserweight Champion of the 205 Live era, Adrian Neville has defeated Rey Mysterio twice to retain the title. Tonight Neville will be looking for a hat-trick of wins when he puts the title on the line against Mysterio again.

WWE United Kingdom Championship: Pete Dunne © versus Tyler Bate

The young Tyler Bate became the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion by beating Danny Burch on Monday Night RAW back in June but lost the title to Pete Dunne last month at Summerslam. Tonight Bate receives his rematch with Dunne for the UK Championship.

Rob Van Dam versus Andrade Cien Almas

A few weeks ago on Monday Night RAW Rob Van Dam came to the ring and said that he was fed up of seeing the same old timers, which led to Triple H promising a new opponent for RVD tonight, as Andrade Cien Almas will take on RVD in his WWE debut.

Jason Jordan versus Kassius Ohno

Last week on Monday Night RAW Kassius Ohno viciously attacked Jason Jordan backstage before Ohno went on to lose to Brock Lesnar in RAW’s non-title main event. Tonight Jason Jordan will be looking to get revenge when he faces Ohno.

Rich Swann versus Enzo Amore

The entire 205 Live division was turned on its head a few weeks ago when Enzo Amore was revealed as the latest signing by the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle. Enzo promises to be Cruiserweight Champion by the end of the year but first he must beat Rich Swann tonight.

TJ Perkins versus Kalisto

The controversial Kalisto made his 205 Live debut a few weeks ago attacking TJ Perkins whilst wearing a hooded mask looking like something a KKK member might wear. After weeks of attacks and insults, TJ Perkins will face Kalisto one on one tonight.

WWE Divas Championship: Alexa Bliss © versus Sasha Banks versus Audrey Marie

The WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss will tonight put her title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Audrey Marie and the former Divas Champion Sasha Banks. Alexa Bliss began her first ever reign as Divas Champion last month at Summerslam when she defeated the former Champion Bayley and Audrey Marie in a Triple Threat match.

WWE Women’s Championship: Naomi © versus Rain

Naomi defeated Becky Lynch, Rain and Alexa Bliss in a Fatal Four-Way match back at Payback in June to become the first WWE Women’s Champion in the past four years. Since then Naomi has defeated Rain two months in a row to retain the title and Rain will get her final one-on-one title opportunity tonight.

Natalya versus Carmella

Natalya called out any woman on the Friday Night SmackDown roster a few weeks ago and the challenge was answered by Carmella. Both of these women would love a shot at the Women’s Championship so will both be looking to turn heads by getting the win tonight.

Non-Title: Champion vs. Champion: Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. UK Champion Pete Dunne

The main event of tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out by the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox and will see the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar take on the WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne in a non-title Champion versus Champion match. Last night at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Brock Lesnar defeated both Roman Reigns and William Regal in their Triple Threat Hell in a Cell match to retain his WWE Universal Championship whilst Pete Dunne was also victorious last night as he beat Tyler Bate to make his first successful defence of his United Kingdom Championship. Pete Dunne is undefeated since he introduced himself to the WWE Universe back in July other than two losses at the hands to the “Beast” Brock Lesnar. Tonight Brock Lesnar will be looking to make it a hat-trick of victories over Pete Dunne whilst Dunne will be looking to pick up the all-important victory in what would be considered a huge upset.

Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar versus Roman Reigns & William Regal

The WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro, known to the WWE Universe as “The Bar”, will take on the Shield’s Roman Reigns and William Regal tonight on Monday Night RAW in a non-title match. Tyler Bate versus Solomon Crowe

Tyler Bate will take on Solomon Crowe tonight on Monday Night RAW with the young Englishman Bate looking to build back momentum after failing to win the United Kingdom Championship back from Pete Dunne last night at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View.

Seth Rollins versus Dean Ambrose

The Shield of Roman Reigns, William Regal and Dean Ambrose, and led by Paul Heyman, attacked Scott Stanford backstage last night at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View before being chased off at the hands of former Shield member Seth Rollins. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Rollins and Ambrose will go one on one for the first time ever.

WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss, Emma & Ayako Hamada vs. Audrey Marie, Raquel Diaz & Sexy Star

Finally, six-Diva tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW will see the WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss team up with Emma and Ayako Hamada to take on the team of Audrey Marie, Raquel Diaz and Sexy Star. Last night at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Alexa Bliss defeated Audrey Marie and Sasha Banks in their Triple Threat match to make her first successful defence of her Divas Championship after winning the title back at Summerslam in August. With Road Dogg at her side at ringside the WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss impressed many members of the WWE Universe with her performance and will look to build on that by leading her team to victory tonight.

WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from Macon Coliseum (GA) 6,438 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Jessie McKay versus Rosa Mendes

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Jessie McKay defeated Rosa Mendes in 17:37 by pinfall with a School Girl Crush. Jessie McKay and Rosa Mendes have great chemistry as opponents, and it showed in both of their performances here in this pre-show match that went the distance. Ultimately, the Australian Jessie McKay picks up the all-important victory here over the Latina Rosa Mendes after hitting her School Girl Crush finishing maneuver.

Match Rating: D-

Pre-Show: Brodus Clay and Alex Riley versus Resurrection (Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows)

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Resurrection defeated Brodus & Riley in 17:50 when Matt Hardy defeated Brodus Clay by pinfall with a Twist of Fate. Luke Gallows seemed off his game tonight which led to the team of Brodus Clay and Alex Riley focusing their offence on Gallows for the majority of the match until Gallows was finally able to get the tag to Matt Hardy who cleared house before hitting Brodus Clay with the Twist of Fate to pick up the win for his team.

Match Rating: C-

Pre-Show: Batista versus Tensai

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Batista defeated Tensai in 17:45 by pinfall with a Spinebuster. Batista was visibly tiring towards the end of this match but was still able to get the win.

Match Rating: D-

(Robbie Brookside thinks that Tensai needs to be booked a little smarter and that he needs shorter matches as he was totally exposed by the length of this one.)

Tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW kicks off with the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar making his way to the ring. The “Beast” receives a great reception from the WWE Universe in attendance as he enters the ring and retrieves a microphone from the ringside area. Brock Lesnar says that he is not joined by his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn tonight because he wants to speak to the WWE Universe on a one to one basis, so to speak. Brock says that last night inside the Hell in a Cell at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he beat both Roman Reigns and William Regal of the Shield to retain the WWE Universal Championship once again. Brock says that after this victory Paul Heyman and his merry men of the Shield should realise that there is nothing that they can do to take the Universal Championship from Brock’s hands, and anyone who thinks that they can will be going straight to “Suplex City”. Brock then thanks the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox for putting him in a non-title Champion versus Champion main event tonight on RAW against the UK Champion Pete Dunne and says that he looks forward to beating Dunne again. The masked Kane, the holder of RAW’s Money in the Bank briefcase, then comes to the ring and announces that he will be cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase inside Hell in a Cell next month at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View before hitting Lesnar across the skull with the briefcase.

Rating: C-

WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss, Emma & Ayako Hamada vs. Audrey Marie, Raquel Diaz & Sexy Star

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Alexa Bliss, Emma and Ayako Hamada defeated Audrey Marie, Raquel Diaz and Sexy Star in 6:11 when Alexa Bliss defeated Sexy Star by submission. Road Dogg once again accompanied his client and good friend Alexa Bliss to ringside for this match, much to the delight of the WWE Universe in attendance. Road Dogg offered plenty of support from ringside to the WWE Divas Champion Alexa Bliss which may have been what led to Alexa Bliss winning this six-Diva tag team match for her team after ultimately forcing Sexy Star into submission.

Match Rating: E

Following her victory Alexa Bliss celebrates in front of the WWE Universe with her manager Road Dogg before Rain rushes to the ring and joins Audrey Marie in assaulting the Divas Champion until Sasha Banks rushes to the ring to make the save.

Rating: F

Non-Title: WWE RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar versus Roman Reigns and William Regal

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Bar defeated Reigns & Regal in 10:46 when Antonio Cesaro defeated William Regal by pinfall with a Brogue Kick. Robbie Brookside accompanies his clients Antonio Cesaro and Sheamus, known by the WWE Universe as “The Bar”, to ringside for this tag team match and sees Cesaro pin Regal to win the match for his team after Sheamus took out Regal with a Brogue Kick before also taking out Reigns on the apron.

Match Rating: C+

We cut backstage to find the Resurrection pairing of Matt Hardy and Luke Gallows in the office of the Monday Night RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, and Resurrection ask Maddox for another shot at Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro’s WWE RAW Tag Team Championships, and Maddox says he will think about it.

Rating: D-

Non-Title: WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz versus Alberto Del Rio

In a match that had some good action and average heat, The Miz defeated Alberto Del Rio in 7:49 by pinfall with a Skull Crushing Finale. X-Pac accompanied his client Alberto Del Rio to ringside for this match but it was the Intercontinental Champion the Miz that got the win.

Match Rating: C-

Following his victory the Miz celebrates in the ring in front of the WWE Universe until Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. Ziggler grabs a microphone and announces that he is the newest member of the Monday Night RAW roster and wants a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

Rating: D+

As Dolph Ziggler and the Miz stare each other down in the centre of the ring the Miz also takes a microphone from ringside and tells Ziggler that he is the man who failed to become WWE Champion in the main event of WrestleMania and that Ziggler doesn’t deserve a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

Rating: C-

Tyler Bate versus Solomon Crowe

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Tyler Bate defeated Solomon Crowe in 5:51 by submission. A pretty vocal crowd didn’t seem particularly thrilled with seeing Tyler Bate wrestle with some sections of the WWE Universe not yet sold on Tyler Bate.

Rating: F

Following his victory Tyler Bate takes a microphone and says he wants another shot at the UK Championship. The UK Champion Pete Dunne then rushes to the ring and looks to attack Tyler Bate who side steps and sends Pete Dunne flying out of the ring.

Rating: F

Seth Rollins versus Dean Ambrose

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose in 8:58 by pinfall with a God's Last Gift. The Monday Night RAW commentary team of Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler note that this is the first ever singles meeting between these two and Rollins is victorious.

Match Rating: C

Pete Dunne comes to the ring for tonight’s Monday Night RAW Champion versus Champion non-title main event and is soon joined by the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his in-ring mentor Billy Gunn, who takes a microphone and tells Pete Dunne that he is about to get hurt by an angry Beast.

Rating: D

Non-Title: Champion vs. Champion: Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. UK Champion Pete Dunne

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Brock Lesnar defeated Pete Dunne in 15:35 by pinfall with an F-5. Unfortunately this match was too long given who was involved with some sections of the WWE Universe not yet caring too much about the UK Champion Pete Dunne.

Match Rating: C-

Post-Show: Rob Van Dam versus Matt Morgan

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Rob Van Dam defeated Matt Morgan in 12:34 by pinfall with a Five Star Frog Splash. The Monday Night RAW commentary team remained at ringside to watch this one.

Match Rating: D

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live:

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey versus Chad Gable and Tajiri

The main event of tonight’s edition of WWE 205 Live was announced earlier today via a tweet sent out from the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle and will see the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and his “British Ambition” tag team partner Oliver Grey take on the team of Chad Gable and the former three-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri. This past Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Adrian Neville defeated the masked former multiple-time Cruiserweight Champion Rey Mysterio to once again successfully retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. After three consecutive successful title defences against Rey Mysterio, the Cocky Cruiserweight Champion Neville will likely be looking to continue his momentum by leading his team to victory tonight but an all-important victory for Chad Gable and Tajiri over the Cruiserweight Champion Neville and Oliver Grey tonight could well lead to either Gable or Tajiri earning a future opportunity at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. The WWE Universe has witnessed the Martial Artist and “Japanese Buzzsaw” Tajiri compete in both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown for years now and hold several titles but as of late Tajiri has been on a bit of a losing streak on 205 Live. Just three weeks ago on 205 Live Tajiri and Chad Gable lost to British Ambition in tag team action and Tajiri hasn’t won a match on 205 Live since its inception back in June.

Rich Swann versus Enzo Amore

This past Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View the Guido known as Enzo Amore was able to do what he has been telling both the WWE Universe as well as the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle for weeks by beating Rich Swann. Tonight these two Cruiserweights will again go head to head in a rematch. Since coming to 205 Live from Friday Night SmackDown earlier this month Enzo Amore has been undefeated and has promised to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion by the end of the year. Another victory for Enzo Amore over the Fan Favourite Rich Swann tonight could well lead to him getting a title opportunity sooner than anybody would have expected.

TJ Perkins versus Kalisto

Another Night of Champions rematch will take place tonight on 205 Live as the Fan Favourite TJ Perkins will take on the controversial masked Cruiserweight in Kalisto. This past Sunday at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View TJ Perkins was able to get some revenge for the weeks of attacks and put-downs at the hands of Kalisto when TJ Perkins forced Kalisto to tap out in their match. Tonight the 205 Live General Manager Hornswoggle has given these two foes another chance to solve their differences in the ring tonight.

Quick Picks:

WWE Cruiserweight Champion Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey versus Chad Gable and Tajiri

Rich Swann versus Enzo Amore

TJ Perkins versus Kalisto
