The three are, however, representing the brilliant TNA Tag Team division. They proved tonight they can each stand on their own. A great spot was when Kaz and Hennigan were trading blows on the top rope, and Sabin landed a nice triangle dropkick to take down both men, with one foot to each. The finish to the match came when Kaz fought out of the Cradle Shock from Sabin, and landed the Wave of the Future. Unfortunately for him, he was hit with a knee to the face and felt nothing but Starship Pain right after. John Hennigan def. Frankie Kazarian, Chris Sabin by pinfall in 7:35 after Starship Pain on Kaz. Rating: 61 This match had good action, but not much heat. Four of the very best the X-Division has to offer (being the champion and his three challengers), they kept things at a fast pace. TJP and Chavo weren't exactly a great team, however, and the champion was unable to help Chavo as Zema Ion landed the Filipino Destroyer and pinned Chavo. He then stared at TJP intently. Zema Ion and Kenny King def. TJ Perkins and Chavo Guerrero when Ion pinned Chavo following the Filipino Destroyer in 6:51. Though all four men showed their chops, the finish was an entertaining one. D-Ross hit the Rosserator on the Cowboy, only to be caught off guard by the Backstabber. Carlito thought he had the match won, only for the big man, Rompo, to hoist him atop his shoulders in the Torture Rack. Carlito begged for mercy. Rycklon Rompo def. Rhino and Roode managed to cut the ring in half for the beginning of the match, not allowing Styles to even tag Hardy in. When he finally did, Hardy was hit with the Gore from Rhino. Styles managed to break up the pin with all he had left, though. Hardy fought against Roode to a standstill, finally gaining the edge and managing to get the win with the Swanton Bomb. Highlights included: -Kane and Abyss struggling to suplex each other, only for each of the Rhodes brothers to interfere. -Kane and Reign hadn't let up on Rhodes for around eight minutes, before he finally managed to land the Beautiful Disaster on Kane and tag in Abyss. -Abyss came in just in time for Kane to tag Black Reign, the two fought with Abyss having the advantage. When Abyss went for the Black Hole Slam, however, Reign managed to roll out of the ring. -Rhodes took it to Reign with all he had left on the outside of the ring, eventually tossing him back inside. Reign tagged in Kane. -Kane and Abyss traded blows, still shaking the ring as much as ever. Kane ran at Abyss for a clothesline, only to be caught with the Black Hole Slam. Abyss and Cody Rhodes def. Kane and Black Reign in around eighteen minutes following the Black Hole Slam on Kane. Highlights of the high-flying spectacle included: -Zema Ion yelling at TJP, smacking him upside the head multiple times, only for Chavo to bounce off the ropes and land a Hurricanrana on the cocky competitor. -As Chavo and Zema were the first two on the cables above the ring, they traded kicks near the center of the X. Kenny King jumped up and took Zema down with an Electric Chair drop. -Chavo losing his concentration and falling from the cables, falling right atop the other three men. -TJP locking Chavo in the Figure Four Deathlock, and Kenny King in Vince Kage's Guillotine Choke at the same time. After about a minute, and some cheers, Zema Ion landed a dropkick to TJ's face. -With everyone else down, Zema Ion made it to the center and was unhooking the belt. Unfortunately for him, though, Kenny King managed to roll onto the apron and spring off the ropes, landing a dropkick right to Zema to take him down. -A 450 Splash from Zema onto Chavo and King on the outside. -TJP made it to the top, and the center of the ring, and was starting to unhook the belt. Zema managed to slide inside though, and jumped to grab at TJ's feet. TJ dropped down and started with forearms to Zema's face. Zema Irish Whipped him into the ropes, causing TJ to land his signature rope catch, as he has done for years. Zema ran at him, but TJ moved out of the way, and Zema instantly landed a Suicide Dive onto Chavo and King, who were recovering on the outside. -The chaos allowed "Technical Lightning" to make it back to the top and take down his belt. The opening minutes saw Hennigan get worked over by all four members of the opposing teams, who were tagging in and out without restraint. Eventually, Samoa Joe climbed inside the ring and took everyone down with clotheslines and suplexes. He followed up by pulling Hennigan over to his corner, climbing onto the apron, tagging Hennigan, and climbing in. He wrecked everyone once more, all four men trying to take it to him. A double clothesline sent Shelley and Sabin out, allowing Joe to land the Muscle Buster on Kazarian and pin him to eliminate Bad Influence. Eliminated First: Bad Influence Joe slowed things down, working over Alex Shelley technically. He and Hennigan tagged in and out, managing to cut the ring in half and keep Shelley from Sabin. After awhile, though, Shelley managed to land an Enzuigiri on Joe, and tag in Sabin. He and Sabin landed the ASCS Rush on Joe. Hennigan broke up the pinfall with a Springboard Shooting Star Press, however, much to the delight of the crowd. Joe took it to Sabin, eventually locking him in the Coquina Clutch. Hennigan tagged Joe's shoulder, however, which neither Machine Gun noticed. Shelley came in and broke up the Coquina Clutch, followed by landing a Superkick on Joe and pulling Sabin over him. Referee Brian Hebner counted to eight before they both recovered. -Hardy landed a nice Triangle Dropkick to excite the fans. -Roode rolled out of the way of a Swanton Bomb, and landed a nice Bridging Suplex on the recovering Hardy. -Roode hit the Payoff, but Hardy managed to kick-out, much to the surprise of everyone in the arena. A frustrated Bobby Roode yelled at Brian Hebner. Jeff Hardy went for a roll-up, but Roode managed to kick out. -Roode headed for the Pay Off again, but Hardy landed the Twist of Fate once more. Highlights: -Rhino pulled out a table from under the ring, and spent most of the match trying to slam AJ through it. -Styles landed a Springboard Moonsault into a Pele Kick, which looked fantastic. -Rhino landed seven Belly-to-Belly Suplexes in a row. -Rhino bashed Styles over the head repeatedly with a Singapore Cane. -Styles landed a sitout powerbomb onto a Trashcan, but Rhino got up at six. -Rhino finally set up the table in the corner, and as he went to slam AJ through it, AJ instead knocked him down and landed the Spiral Tap. Rhino recovered while Styles was playing to the crowd, however, allowing Rhino to Gore AJ through the table. Rhino picked AJ up around eight, however, which allowed AJ to fight back. -AJ landed a Super Styles Clash off of the apron onto the hard floor. Rhino got up just after the ten count. In a good match with average heat, AJ Styles defeated Rhino following the Super Styles Clash at 16:44. Highlights: -Neither man even attempted to ask if the other would quit until some time after both men were already busted open. -Abyss landed a Chokeslam on top of a trashcan, but Kane popped up like the Undertaker to land a Chokeslam of his own. -Kane choked Abyss for two minutes straight, with Abyss staying awake and refusing to quit. -Abyss landed two Black Hole Slams in a row, but Kane would not quit. -Kane managed to land a Super Chokeslam off of the top rope to slam Abyss through the announce table. "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" In order to make an impact, no pun intended, I'm going to provide one of the most entertaining and ground-breaking Slammiversary shows yet. In order to do so, I have decided to revive the King of the Mountain match! TNA World Heavyweight Champion Abyss will be defending his title in this reverse ladder match against four other hopefuls, which will all be revealed tonight. Only the most deserving competitors will get the opportunity to enter this King of the Mountain match. Most of which are all victors from TNA Sacrifice. First up, Rycklon Rompo and James Storm, both of which were on a victorious team in the pre-Sacrifice tag team match, enter a four way elimination bout. Additionally, Mr. Anderson will be in this match, as he defeated D'Angelo Dinero on Sunday. The fourth man in this match.. will be "Hell's Disciple" Kane. Though he has missed his final moments in two opportunities since arriving here in TNA, he has provided some of the best matches we have seen here, and gets one last shot to prove himself. The other qualifiers will come up later tonight. Kofi Kingston pulled out the upset victory over "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan at Sacrifice, and will get his fair shot here tonight. It will not be easy, however, as I have handpicked his opponent, from another wrestling company in fact. I assure you, win or lose tonight, this wrestler will have a lasting feel as a permanent member of the TNA roster. He has come to TNA for a fresh start, and has even changed his name in order to help with this new start. Following that, Jeff Hardy who defeated Bobby Roode at Sacrifice, and Black Reign, who did the same to Cody Rhodes, will take each other on for a spot in the match. And in our main event of the evening, AJ Styles, who was victorious over "The War Machine" Rhino, takes on another one of the pre-Sacrifice tag team match victors, Darren Rosser, for the final spot in the match. The two big men had a nice brawl in the beginning, but Kane proved to be the better monster as he put away Rompo with a Chokeslam. Eliminated: Rycklon Rompo The remaining three competitors fought hard as the match continued, but James Storm fell victim to the Mic Check around the seven minute mark. Eliminated: James Storm Mr. Anderson kept his momentum going as he took it to Kane, much to the delight of the fans. He could only hang on so long, however, as he was pinned following a Chokeslam just after ten minutes. The finish came at about seven and a half minutes, with Kazarian landing a beautiful Flux Capacitor on Kage. He bowed and waved to the fans after the match, followed by hugging his partners. Paul Heyman hyped him to the moon. The competitor, now known in TNA as Zane Nosux, looked excellent out there. He was tossing Kofi around like a ragdoll and proving to be the wrestler to look out for when he sealed the deal with a Sharpshooter in 13:16. Matt Morgan distracted Kofi at one point, however. In a match that had good action and average heat, Zane Nosux def. Kofi Kingston with a Sharpshooter.
