TLCJR4LIFE
I don't care what angle you are coming from. Any sort of game where the player has approximately zero chance of winning is not good design. The Overall rating limits are too much of a problem. For any given character the only way to ensure even a chance at victory is to carry 700+ CoW moves of several different types? In a submission match and don't have any super submissions over 500 and facing a 900 overall? gg you lose. In an ironman match and you took too much damage to use your only uber-finisher? gg you lose. Facing a giant and your best finisher can't be used against opponents x amount of size against you? gg you lose. At least have some sort of reasonable experience for the player. Perhaps beating your opponent down to 0 in every single body part and hitting him with three 650 CoW finishers in a row would even be a reasonable requirement. But ANYTHING would be a better requirement than instantly losing before the match is even played because you can't beat a statistical formula.... Overall could decay with extreme damage and stamina loss....CoW increases with more requirements...anything other than the current system. Unwinnable matches are not fun. Blake Trask
To be fair, the moveset screen does try and keep you informed of possible deficiencies in your moves... that's what the 'you have X number of moves that would be considered excellent finishers' thing is. BuddyGarner
Actually, in a submission match there's an attempt to submit button that works even on people on 900+ OR despite only having a 100 chance to win.

Ironman matches aren't even available until the point where you would have high enough stats for several such finishers.

And there are some finishers that can be used on opponents of any size that are available to anyone.
