If you read my 2002 diary, you know the format. I post the dirt each week, short write-ups for weekly shows, longer ones for PPVs. Mania matches included Triple H/Jericho (Jericho wins) Austin/Hogan, Undertaker/Rock, etc. Sting was going to debut at Summerslam to defeat Kurt Angle for the Undisputed Title, hold it until Mania, when he lost to the Undertaker. The referee pulled Flair off of Edge and The Rated-R Superstar took advantage with a thumb to the eye.<br id=""><br id="">Edge slams Flair to the ground and delivers punches to his face until Flair rolls out of the ring. Edge follows suit, but is caught by a chop to the chest and a slam to the ground. Ric whips Edge into the steps and rolls him into the ring, covering for a two-count. Flair grabs a hold of Edge's leg and starts to work it over with kicks, punches, and knees until Lita finds her way onto the apron and distracts him long enough for Edge to hit a low blow while the referee is distracted as well.<br id=""><br id="">Edge hits an Impaler DDT on Flair and covers for a nearfall. More punches to Flair's face, and Edge whips him into the corner. Flair comes out and does his signature flop. Edge sets up in the opposite corner for a spear, but when he goes to hit it, Flair dodges and Edge goes face-first into the turnbuckle. Flair hits an inverted atomic drop on Edge, whips him into the ropes, and hits a back-body drop. Flair grabs Edge's leg again and starts to posture up for the Figure-Four Leg Lock. However, Lita slides Edge's Money In The Bank Briefcase in to him. He dumps Shawn over the top rope back into the ring and goes to the top rope. Carlito hits a cross-body on Shawn, covering for a two count. A few clotheslines from Carlito take Shawn down and Carlito applies a chin lock on the veteran. <br id=""><br id="">Before long, Cena comes back into the ring and hits another huge clothesline on Carlito, taking him down to the mat. Michaels is out as Cena hits a bulldog on Carlito. Carlito stands up and Cena lifts him to his shoulders for an FU, but Carlito slides down his back and rolls him up! 1...2...no! Cena kicks out as the lights go down again, and the spotlight returns. <br id=""><br id="">This time, it's Chris Masters that enters the match! Masters hits the ring and wastes no time in slamming Cena. Kane enters the ring by climbing the top rope and hitting Cena with a lariat. When Cena gets to his feet, Kane goes for a chokeslam, but Cena fights out and locks in an STFU on The Big Red Machine in the middle of the ring!
