bigtplaystew Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 I have an elago mini SD card reader that on my old machine worked perfectly. But that machine crashed and I since tried using it on my dell laptop, but I'm having no luck. I pop it in the USB input (and yes I tried them all). It makes the "budump" sound when you enter anything USB but there's no recognition by windows. It doesn't show up at all in windows explorer. I've posted in tech forums all over the place but I'm getting "you need to download the drivers". THERE ARE NO ELAGO DRIVERS AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD! I promise I've tried lol. All there are are dell drivers which I tried but still, no luck. I am using my old machine's windows 7 key ont his laptop but it came with Windows 8. I'm about to reinstall windows 8 but I really dont want to since Windows 8 is a nightmare. If anyone has an ideas beyond "download the drivers" I'm all ears.
