OOC - Might be able to post Supreme TV and Uprising by Tuesday, so that's 24-48 hours for anyone who still wants to predict! And meanwhile, for this week's dose of SWF news behind the scenes...here's another PWH article!

SWF Scoop - Meet Your High Stakes Season 2 Rookies, Gino and Luis Montero Jr., Nicky Champion Injury

Posted by BRIAN CANDIDO on MAY 19, 2014

Better late than never, as they say. Having been on a flight to Providence to catch Times of Trouble in person, I wasn't able to deliver the SWF Scoop as I usually do on Fridays, but we have some interesting reports from the Supreme front, and hopefully more to come this Friday, as we prepare to enter the Faith Era, with Christian Faith replacing Peter Michaels as head booker effective this week.

HIGH STAKES SEASON 2 - MEET THE NEXT BATCH OF EIGHT

Right now, the first season of High Stakes is down to four men - Spencer Spade, Findlay O'Farraday, Skye Sunlight, and Matthew Keith. The current season has just two weeks remaining before we find out who of these four rookies will win a guaranteed SWF contract and a title shot of his choice. But what about the second season? Fortunately, we now know who's going to be part of the next batch of eight, and once again we've got a second-generation worker, as well as three foreigners, including one who will play the role of a storyline brother.

Carl Ashley
- Born Ashley John Charles ("Ash") Campbell, the son of SWF/DaVE/IPW hardcore legend Nemesis has undergone a bit of a name change, though it looks like he will be retaining his "pretentious hipster" gimmick in High Stakes Season 2. Much like his dad as a younger man, Ashley is a flashy cruiserweight wrestler, though such a style might not be feasible, as he's been known in PSW to "let himself go" and overindulge in food.

Henry Hill
- That's right, FCW's Hell's Bouncer actually shares a name with the New York mobster immortalized on Goodfellas. This Henry Hill, however, is no mobster, but someone who should stand out because of two things - his size (6'11"-380) and his ever-so-brief stint in DaVE back in 2007, which, according to the SWF, is an equivalent of "five at-bats for MLB's worst team before getting sent back down to the minors."

Adam Giedroyc
- No, he's not Rogue's brother in real life, but SWF creative wants the man born Adam Matravers to play his High Stakes mentor's arrogant kayfabe younger brother. At 34, Matravers/Giedroyc the Younger is, by far, the oldest of the upcoming season's rookies, and with that in mind, he's no rookie indeed if you consider his experience in the U.K. wrestling scene.

Rudy Velasquez
- The 28-year-old Velasquez is another product of FCW, and had once been part of a stable with fellow real-life gang veterans Hector Galindo and Jesus Chavez. Now trying to make it on his own, it looks like Velasquez might reprise his inner-city gangster gimmick on High Stakes.

Andy Erlandsson
- Known as Anders Thunder in the European indies and Anderz Thunderz in RIPW, Richard Eisen's latest pet project remains extremely raw. But the Swedish muscleman is expected to be pushed heavily despite his lack of in-ring and promo skills.

Surfer Nando
- Surfer Nando is known in Mexico as Soda de la Uva Jr., though it looks like the SWF will be giving him a wordplay-based name change (SDU Jr. was born Fernando Navarro), but still allowing him to yell "GRAPE SODAAAAAA!!!!" as an "EDD-FU!!!!"-esque catchphrase.

Nate "Fro Sure" Lee
- The SoCal rapper-turned-wrestler and Brother Grimm protege has, like Erlandsson and Nando, been working for RIPW for several months now, and is rumored to be Steve Frehley's rookie for Season 2 - like Frehley, who is booked to win Best Mentor for the first season, 'Fro is a skilled brawler, though definitely not as physically impressive as his would-be mentor.

Kasey Kristopher
- The former KC Glenn's entry to High Stakes looks to be a dicey one, as hiring him full-time would require the SWF to end its working agreement with MAW. But this Joey Minnesota protege is looking like one of the most talented and polished young prospects in the indie scene. Hopefully J-Minny's bad attitude doesn't rub off on this young Mississippi native.

DUANE FRY GETS HEAT IN MEXICO, BUT NOT BECAUSE OF HIS CHARACTER

Duane Fry
is no stranger to being hated - as the loudmouthed manager of Remo and The Pain Alliance, "Mr. Barnstormer" has proven that male managers still deserve a place in the SWF, despite all the focus on "eye candy" female managers. But Fry got another kind of heat last week, when he attended
Luis Montero Sr.
's funeral, ostensibly to pay respects, but actually to talk contract with Montero's sons
Luis Jr.
and
Gino
.

"It was a dick move, but Duane's hands were tied," suggested one of our sources. "He was likely acting on the orders of Richard (Eisen), and we all know how insensitive that man could be."

We tend to agree with our source - we've had quite a few encounters with Duane, and he's become much less irritating and much more accommodating as he's entered his 30s.

CHAMPION CONCUSSION MAY SIDELINE HIM TILL MASTER OF PUPPETS

I was there at the Lakeland Arena yesterday, and I saw it with my own four eyes -
Nicky Champion
took one of the craziest bumps in SWF history when he fell ten feet from the top of the steel cage and took a nasty landing on the mat. As a result, he remains confined at a Providence hospital as he continues recovering from a concussion and other injuries.

According to reports from Providence, Champion is now in much better condition, and has actually been lucid enough to joke around and exchange stories with fellow SWF Superstars who had visited, including girlfriend Emma Chase, and Vengeance, whom Champion isn't blaming for the accident during their Cage Escape match. Unfortunately, doctors seem to be advising Champion to rest for the next month or so, which may result in his being unavailable to wrestle until Master of Puppets. He may also have no choice but to focus on the filming of '60s coming-of-age film Under My Thumb, where he plays the role of school bully/football star "Endless" Eugene Hellstrom. Jay Chord, who will continue wrestling a full-time schedule, plays the film's protagonist, Brian Cardinal. (Yes, that's right - Brian Cardinal, as in the '90s/'00s NBA journeyman.) Chase is also part of the film, playing idealistic and hip history teacher Mrs. Keating.

YOUR Supreme TV Announcers:

Peter "The Dean" Michaels, Jerry Eisen, and Ana Garcia

Michaels
- If you joined us Sunday at the Lakeland Arena in Providence, you had just witnessed probably the most physically-intense SWF pay-per-view in history! And now we're here to witness the fallout, as we come to you LIVE from the Kemper Arena in St. Louis, Missouri! Peter Michaels here, and I'm with Jerry Eisen and Ana Garcia for yet another Supreme TV spectacular!

J. Eisen
- As you said earlier, Peter, Times of Trouble was truly an intense event. We saw Nicky Champion take one of the most dramatic falls we've ever seen, and we've been informed he may miss up to a month of action with a concussion. Valiant and Steve Frehley also suffered minor injuries, but we should see them back in action very soon.

A. Garcia
- We've also yet to hear from Angry Gilmore - the straight-edge SWF Superstar gave Marat Khoklov one of his toughest fights yet at Times of Trouble, but the usually-active Gilmore has been silent on Twitter. And so has his wife Jessie, who didn't give me any insight on Tom's condition when the two of us were calling Remo vs Valiant...

J. Eisen
- We know Angry Gilmore is targeting Remo, as we draw closer to Supreme Challenge 34, and we know that he's also got to watch his back for the Money-Chase Organization! Speaking of the MCO, they'll be out next, as they announce the man who will be joining their nefarious organization, and join Rich Money and Rogue in a six-man tag match against Angry Gilmore, Brandon James, and Joey Minnesota!

A. Garcia
- Thank goodness Gilmore is okay, but since he's been less vocal than usual as of late, you really have to wonder what's going on in his mind right now.

Michaels
- We'll also be seeing Lobster Warrior take advantage of his rematch clause and face Eric Eisen for the United States Title...

J. Eisen
- God, I hope my brother gets what's coming to him...

Michaels
- ...but first, here's a bit of a headscratcher for those who saw Jack Bruce defeat Rich Money and Brandon James for the SWF Title last Sunday. It's the man who lost the title, Rich Money, starting off tonight's Supreme TV.

A. Garcia
- Couldn't he have waited until later in the evening to make his announcement?

J. Eisen
- He could have, but unfortunately, you know how Money's mantra goes - he always gets what he wants.

(PROMO) Money Rants About Bruce

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/6a98d800-6998-4b39-83c3-e328d3cefd2c_zps2aca6443.jpghttp://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/9b679712-4e7f-4a5e-98e1-2139054e49d0_zps6c4c3dca.jpg

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/100_zps128a3a53.jpg

Money
- T'was the end of an era at Times of Trouble. Last Sunday, you saw Rich Money go 30 minutes with Brandon James and Jack Bruce, without the backing of his Organization or its CEO. I had gone the distance and fought these two men off valiantly. I was Money shining through that night in Providence, and there were so many times when retaining my SWF Title seemed to be at the tip of my fingers. But I lost the match, I lost the belt, and right now you MARKS are probably thinking that it's back to square one, back to the drawing board, cutting our losses and finding another way to boost our ranks again. But no, SWF Galaxy, you are forgetting...or refusing to acknowledge the fact...that
I always get what I want.
And when it comes to getting what I want, I don't just limit myself to a Plan A and a Plan B - there's got to be a Plan C, D, and E, or maybe an F, G, H, right down to Plan Z if need be. What applies in business, where you want to have as many potential streams of revenue as possible, also applies in sports entertainment, and as a preeminent businessman and athlete, I've got all the backup plans I need as I strive to win my SWF Title back from Jack Bruce.

Chase
- Last week on Supreme TV, you saw our Plan B in action, a man whom none of you had even remotely considered as a potential employee of the Money-Chase Organization. Rich Money said that he was too young to be taken seriously, but I convinced him otherwise...I saw his desire to make his own name in this business, and I saw how little he thought of the people who supposedly care for him and look out for him. And when he helped Mr. Money to a win against Joey Minnesota last week on Supreme TV, we knew that our gamble had paid off...and that we had once again done good business. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...the newest member of the Money-Chase Organization...Mr. Jay Chord!

(PROMO) Chord Joins The Money-Chase Organization

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/95622952-2af9-47a5-a422-00d09bdd7132_zpseb2e4291.jpg

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/74_zps664ea623.jpg

Jay Chord cockily makes his entrance, hitting the ring and exchanging formal handshakes with Money and Chase, and bumping fists with Rogue.

Chord
- You know what endeared Rich Money to me? You know what made him stop and realize that he's got a goldmine in Jay Chord, instead of disparaging me for my youth? I'll tell you what, SWF Galaxy.
(pauses)
I joined the MCO...to DEFY MY FATHER!!!! I joined the MCO to defy people like Joey Minnesota, Ricky Dale Johnson, Bryan Vessey, and even Tommy f---in' Cornell himself...people who kept tellin' me when word got out that I was goin' here. "Oh, Jay, you wanna stay away from Rich Money." "Rich Money's nothin' but bad news, so don't go near that guy with a ten-foot pole." "Rich Money's done nothin' but bad for the SWF, so if he comes near you, tell 'im to go away." "Son, the SWF locker room's pretty okay, except for one man, and that's Rich Money." Guess what, people! Rich Money pays my bills now. Rich Money and Emma Chase guide my career now, and there aren't any two people who are more capable of makin' a diamond outta this lump of coal.

Chord pauses for a few moments, as the crowd boos his confirmation as the MCO's newest member.

Chord
- Back with the competition, people always treated me like a little kid...like the useless product of Rip Chord's semen and Leslie Chord's stupidity in fallin' for a man like my dad. I was patronized, cast aside, told to mind my cotton-pickin' business 'coz I was a kid in a world of grown-ups. I don't get that in the MCO, y'see? Rogue and Marat treat me like a man, and Mr. Money and Ms. Chase let me make decisions like an adult should. This is where I always wanted to belong, and if you think you can tell Jay Chord whom to hang out with and whom to look up to, I got these two letters and a word for y'all. Eff. You. Bitches.

(REVEAL) The Hollyweird Rejects Arrive

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/77_zpsf6860ecc.jpg

Money
- There you have it, SWF Galaxy. The MCO has boosted its ranks, and we are now a proud organization with eight - count that - eight members. That's what I was telling you about earlier. Gotta have as many potential sources of revenue as possible. Now if the cameras could move a little closer to this side of the arena...there you go...there...right over there, where those three fellows are seated.

Michaels
- Good Gawd! That's Aaron Andrews, Wolf Hawkins, and Koshiro Ino!

J. Eisen
- What are THEY doing here? I know they're free agents and all, having recently left the competition, but I didn't expect to see them find employment so quickly!

Michaels
- Neither did I, Jerry, but I'm not quite sure whether they have actually signed a deal with the SWF.

A. Garcia
- Seems to me they've been blinded by the color of Money.

Money
- Last week, while Ms. Chase was back west on a business trip, she personally visited these three men and signed them to guaranteed deals with the Money-Chase Organization. Now all I have to do is walk over to where they're seated...
(starts walking)
...and sign my name underneath the dotted line, right where it says Rich Money, Chairman, Money-Chase Organization. This deal is as good as done, and...

Hawkins
- Awooooooooooooo!!!!!! Wait a minute, Mr. Money, what's this I'm hearin' about me, Kosh and Aaron bein' the latest members of your Organization?

Andrews
- The three of us and Emma had a li'l talk. That talk, well, it went far beyond talk and it was all good.

Hawkins
- Good business alright, Emma, and I'm glad you flew us over here and saved us from the cesspool of Hollyweird, to say little of how you tried to sweeten the deal.
(winks his eye)
After that bait-and-switch the first time around, back when Rich was buyin' your Agency out, it felt good to be followed up on. But before you start dreamin' of your stock reaching Apple, Google levels, you might want to brace for the opposite and start expectin' a BlackBerry, Facebook kinda devaluation.

Ino
- What Drew is trying to say is this. Thanks...but no thanks.

Money and Chase's smiles quickly disappear as they seem aghast that the three TCW refugees have decided not to sign with the MCO!

Hawkins
- Looks like somebody's gonna hafta write off a major business expense! Three plane tickets to St. Louis, all that money down the drain because we are all sayin' NO, Rich Money, and no to that ungrateful little punk Jay Chord. We warned you 'bout the Moneyman, and we are not at all surprised you decided to team up with him.

Ino
- I'm very disappointed with you, Jay. After all the talks we had...

Chord
- I can't believe you guys! After I had vouched for y'all...after I told Ms. Chase and Mr. Money last week that you were all worth it.

Andrews
- Thanks for the kind offer, but we came here...we decided to accept those plane tickets and fly over to the Kemper Arena...just to show each and every one of the people out here tonight...live and in person...just what we think of that contract.

Having said that, Andrews pulls out a piece of paper from his pocket, and right in front of Rich Money, he rips apart that piece of paper into tiny little pieces.

Hawkins
- Make that two contracts ripped into shreds in a matter of one week. We're not gonna lie to 'ya. We came here partly because someone wasn't payin' us what we were worth. But there is no way, and I repeat NOOOOOO WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY...that Drew Hawkins, Aaron Andrews, and Koshiro Ino are goin' to sell out, and effectively sell our souls to the MCO! We came here mainly to WIN, and we promise you we're gonna do a whole lot of that now that we're in the SWF...

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/68_zps35e8836e.jpg

After Hawkins makes his promise of winning a lot in the SWF, he is interrupted by Barry Bowen, the Commissioner, who doesn't look thrilled to see three newbies on the flagship show.

Bowen
- Hold it right there, young man. What do you mean now that you're in the SWF? You are NOT in the SWF until I say you're in the SWF, and I will not stand for you three Hollyweird Rejects subverting justice and equality here in MY SWF!

Ino
(sounding a bit naive)
- I thought Richard Eisen was the owner of the SWF?

Bowen
- Yes he is, Mr. Ino...but I'M THE COMMISIONER, MAN! I make the decisions around here, and I don't think I'm willing to sign you right here, right now, following your disrespectful contract-ripping display! Now I'm not privy to what you, Rich Money, and/or Emma Chase have discussed, but you just don't rip contracts on live television!

Hawkins
- Just as Joey had told us. The Commissioner's as big as he is crooked!

Bowen
- HEY!!!!! Mr. Hawkins, I understand you wanna be called by your real name now. And I understand you're the leader of this group.

Hawkins
- None of us are, but if you wanna talk 'bout gettin' us hired, I'm all ears.

Bowen
- You want to work for the largest, most prosperous, and most SUPREME professional wrestling organization in the world? Then hear me out. You're gonna have to drop this whole "stable", "faction", "alliance" thing, because this company's got too many of 'em. As such, you're all gonna be in singles action tonight.
(pauses)
Aaron Andrews, you'll be facing Joe Sexy, while Koshiro Ino, you've got Squeeky McClean. I am making these two matches the first of eight quarterfinal matches to determine who gets to become the SWF's first Master of Puppets, King of Supreme since 2009. Drew Hawkins...I know you are quite a talent...so I will give you a rather tough matchup tonight. Doesn't matter if you win or lose that one, but remain in the ring for at least TWENTY MINUTES with our World Heavyweight Champion Remo and you've got the job.
(to the audience)
DO ALL OF YOU WANT TO SEE THESE THREE MEN HIRED BY THE SWF?!?!?!? DO YOU WANT TO SEE THOSE THREE MATCHES TONIGHT?!?!?!? YOU WANT 'EM?!?!?!? WELL, YOU GOT 'EM!!!!!!

The crowd, fully in support of the babyface TCW newcomers, lets out a resounding "YES!!!!" to all of Barry Bowen's questions.

Bowen
- That's good, but these three Hollyweird Rejects are gonna have to win those matches first.

Jack Bruce © vs Jackson Marlowe (w/Squeeky McClean)

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/80_zps7e896c38.jpg

  • As Jackson Marlowe is, despite his age, one of the preeminent brawlers in the world of wrestling, we see a lot of good work from the former Jungle Lord, as he and Jack Bruce seem to mesh well to start this match out.
  • With Squeeky McClean interfering as he always does, Marlowe keeps things pretty even, and is notable as he yells "STOP YOUR DRINKING!" or "SAY NO TO DRUGS!" to punctuate a series of kicks to Bruce's back at 3:30.
  • That's probably the most we get from Marlowe, as Bruce quickly recovers and predictably takes out the teetotaling midcarder with a New York Minute. Bruce dropkicks McClean off the apron to ensure no one will interfere, and gets the clean win in his first match as SWF Champion.

WINNER
- Bruce in 4:49

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/77_zpsf6860ecc.jpg

Bruce, having been denied of a "victory party" earlier in the evening, takes advantage of the fact the first match was quick and asks for a microphone so he can address his St. Louis Constituents...

Bruce
- IT'S SHOW-TAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! HELLO, SAINT LOUIS!!!!!!!!
(pauses)
Weird, isn't it? I win the SWF Title, my sixth, count that, one, two, three, four, five World titles plus one SWF Title, and become unquestionably the most decorated SWF Superstar in history, and Runaway Train choo-choo-chooses Rich Money to kick off the show? Yeah, sure. He's got big announcements to make about having all those backup plans, NONE OF WHICH are gonna take this here SWF Title 'round my waist. But none of them matter, and now that Money Time's over, I think it's time we have a little victory party here in St. Louis, time for me to grab a beer from the cooler behind the announce table, and hand one over to Jungle...
(pauses)
...hey, where did Marlowe go? WHO CARES!!!! We are gonna have a party tonight here at the Kemper Arena, and...

Before Bruce can finish his statement, Jay Chord and Rogue burst from the locker room and beat down on the Cream of the Crop! The beatdown looks like a particularly nasty one, with Rogue hitting a Crashing On, then Chord setting Bruce up for a Jay Chord DDT. He hits it, and the two MCO men are working Bruce's back...

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/c5509867-cc56-40cd-8ddc-7d499b0129f1_zps52ba1908.jpg

...when Steve Frehley's music plays in the background, as the Dark Destroyer arrives with referee Ric Young by his side! Chord and Rogue beat a quick retreat to the locker room, and Frehley is walking with Young, seemingly ready to cash in his Nothing to Lose contract for the SWF Title. Frehley is getting a mixed reaction from the crowd, and soon the audience is doing the call-and-response thing, half cheering "LET'S GO STEVE!" and the other half cheering "BRUCE CAN'T LOSE!"

Young is asking Frehley if he really wants to cash in his contract, and at this point we can clearly hear someone in the audience yell "DON'T DO IT, STEVE!" This causes him to stop and tell Young to "FORGET IT!" as he trudges back to the locker room with his briefcase, still lacking that confidence he mysteriously lost on the go-home Supreme TV for Times of Trouble...

(ANGLE) Frehley and Eric Eisen Argue

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/c5509867-cc56-40cd-8ddc-7d499b0129f1_zps52ba1908.jpg

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/79_zps39a33693.jpg

Steve Frehley continues to play the role of a man whose confidence had suddenly vanished into thin air just a few days prior to his match against his old mentor, and whose confidence remains shot after losing to that mentor, Christian Faith. He dejectedly looks at his briefcase and loudly asks himself why he can't bring himself to cash in - first, against Rich Money, then against Jack Bruce - before he is interrupted by the sounds of someone making chicken noises...then following it up with a hyena laugh. It's Eric Eisen, and Frehley stands up to confront the Supremacist and stare him down...

E. Eisen
- What you gonna say to me, huh? Gonna tell me, the SWF's new United States Champion, that I ain't s---? I may not be s---, Steve, but you know I NEVER LOSE! But answer me this, Yellow Destroyer...why so chicken? Don't you know that the briefcase you've held for the past three months represents an SWF Title waitin' to happen?

Frehley
- I'm only gonna ask you once, Eisen. Stay the hell away outta my personal life. This is my cross to carry, my burden to bear, and I don't need silver-spoon punks like YOU tellin' me when to cash this bad boy in!

E. Eisen
- Just remindin' you, Steve, that it's now been three months since you won that briefcase. You've been Mr. Nothing to Lose for the SWF Title for these past three months, yet people have to go over to Wikipedia to find that out!

Frehley
- ....

E. Eisen
- You can't answer because you know it's true! You ain't done a thing in the SWF lately, and it will not surprise me one bit...if history repeats itself and you once again fail to cash it in.
(pauses)
Remember the Alamodome, Steve.

Frehley remains oddly silent as Eisen walks away, laughing to himself and taking delight in having psyched out the "Yellow Destroyer."

Michaels
- Eric Eisen, no doubt, is referring to Master of Puppets 2010, where Steve Frehley attempted to cash in his Nothing to Lose contract against the Supremacist, who was then the SWF World Heavyweight Champion...

J. Eisen
- How could I NOT Remember the Alamodome? That's where my brother, fresh off a title defense against Rich Money, was cashed in on by Steve Frehley, only for Eric's manager at that time to distract the referee and allow Marat Khoklov to beat the living hell out of Frehley! That was the last time someone failed to successfully cash in on his contract.

Michaels
- There's also Enygma, who failed win the World title from Barry Bowen back in 2007...but yes, Frehley is one of two men who have been Mr. Nothing to Lose twice, and his first cash-in attempt was not successful. His baffling lack of confidence, sad to say, just might work against him if he cashes in at this point. He's got 12 months, up until early February 2015, so I say Steve shouldn't rush it.

Aaron Andrews vs Joe Sexy (w/Louise Cannon and Marc DuBois)

[King of Supreme Round of 16 Qualifier]

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/c73fffef-55b7-479c-a9cf-d40121b26a68_zps26d4bac7.jpg vs http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/7a9f69fd-013c-48d9-92b4-f3d3599148ad_zps1362aa53.jpg

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/63_zps12da1508.jpg

  • This is the first of a series of eight King of Supreme qualifying matches, and former TCW midcarder Aaron Andrews looks quite promising to start things off, using an array of brawling moves and showing off some capable chain wrestling.
  • Joe Sexy gets some much-needed assists from both Marc DuBois and Louise Cannon, and uses these to swing things in his favor in the midway mark of the match. A One Night Stand at 4:15, however, is countered, as Andrews escapes and floors the bigger, more experienced Sexy with a spinebuster.
  • Despite losing his edge when Sexy and DuBois tried to beat down on him outside the ring, Andrews is as "Ace" as pundits expected him to be at this point of his career - he embarrasses Sexy with a Standing Hot Shot, as The Sex Maniacs' misfortunes continue in both tag and singles action.

WINNER
- Andrews in 8:15. Aaron Andrews moves on to the King of Supreme Quarterfinals (Round of 8) and is hired by the SWF.

J. Eisen
- Don't let his smaller build deceive you. Aaron Andrews carries a rather lanky 230 pounds on his 6'5" frame, but that's one young man who can brawl with the bigger guys.

Michaels
- And that win over Joe Sexy officially makes him the latest addition to the Supreme family! Welcome aboard, Aaron!

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/80_zps7e896c38.jpg

Jack Bruce may have been deprived of a chance to cut a celebratory promo after winning the SWF Title at Times of Trouble, but Remo - care of manager Duane Fry - has a chance to bask in the adulation, though he hardly does any speaking, letting Fry and Big Smack Scott do all the work...

Fry
- ...as you saw last Sunday at Times of Trouble, Remo bucked the odds. Valiant grabbed the key first, allowed Peter Michaels to HUMILIATE me on pay-per-view, but when it was all said and done, Remo used more of the weapons than Valiant did. And even as Vengeance made his dark presence felt, Remo STILL defended his SWF World Heavyweight title successfully as we stared fear in the eye and emerged unscathed at Times of Trouble!

Michaels
- And there he goes again, spinnin' things to make himself look like the better man.

J. Eisen
- Remo didn't retain his title cleanly - he needed Vengeance's interference to do so!

Fry
- Complain all you want, SWF Supreme TV announce team, but the proof is in the pudding. The proof is in the fact that Remo had vanquished yet another pretender to the World title, and that he once again showed us why he is the MOST DOMINATING, MOST INTIMIDATING, AND MOST DESTRUCTIVE FORCE IN THE HISTORY OF THIS BUSINESS!!!!! And now we have Angry Gilmore, on the road to Supreme Challenge 34, hopin' to win Remo's title? Yes, I am aware of that, but let's focus on the present for a moment, shall we? There's this Hollyweird Reject Drew Hawkins tryin' to win himself a job with the SWF, with the condition being having to beat Remo in non-title action. There is simply no contest here! Drew Hawkins is hardly any different from Angry GIlmore - he's too small to make an impact, too small to be anything more than a perennial PRETENDER and not a contender. And when this night is over, the former Wolfie is gonna be cryin' back to Hollyweird, and goin' "TOMMY!!!! I WAS WRONG!!! I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE SWF, SO PLEASE LET ME BE MEDIOCRE WITH THE REST OF YOUR KIND!!!!" And Cornell is probably gonna be like,
(in a bad British accent)
"There, there, my poor misguided son. Daddy's gonna make it right for you. Startin' next Tuesday, I'm havin' you join Giant Tana and Danny Fonzarelli's faction. And I'm havin' you suit up in a wolf costume! Sounds brilliant, doesn't it?"

Big Smack Scott
- WEMME TEWWYA SOMETHIN', DREW, WOLF, OR WHATEVER YOU WANNA BE CALLED!!!!!! WHAT DID CORNELL EVER TEACH YOU BACK WEST, HUH?!?!!? DID HE TEACH YOU...TEACH YOUUUUU...HOW TO BE A LIMP-WRIST TEA-DRINKIN' PENNY-PINCHIN' SISSY LIKE HE IS? WELL, REMO IZGUNNA TEACH YOU HOWTA' BE A MAN FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE...AND HE AIN'T GONNA PULL ANY PUNSHES...HE AINGUNNA SHOW ANY MERCY...OUR BOY REMO IZGUNNA SENDJABACK TO WHEREYOUBEWONG...DA UNUMPWOYMINT LINE!!!!!!!

Fry
- Time to start groveling your way back to Hollyweird, Drew Hawkins. I hoped you liked my idea to have your old boss team you up with Tana and Fonzie. Man, you three would make a dominating trio. In the laughs department, might I add! Only in your case, the laughs are not gonna be intentional. Don't forget to gimme credit, Drew, because if you don't, I will not hesitate to make this TRULY dominating faction - RRRRRRRRREMO RRRRRRRRRICHARDSON, BIGGGGGGG-AH...SMACCCCCKKKKK-AH...SCOTTTTTTT-AH, AND KUUUUUUUUUURT LA-RUH-MEEEEEEEEEEEE...fly over to California and give your skinny ass a whippin'!

Remo
- Another day in the office, Duane.

Laramee
- What Remo said!

Koshiro Ino vs Marc DuBois (w/Louise Cannon and Joe Sexy)

[King of Supreme Round of 16 Qualifier]

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/79_zps39a33693.jpg

  • Prior to his signing with the SWF, it was rumored that Koshiro Ino may play the role of an anti-American, pro-puroresu heel. But he's clearly a babyface here, delivering some hard puro strikes to an overselling Marc DuBois and getting off to a strong start.
  • After DuBois counters an Ino-Plex, that puts the Maniac in charge momentarily - it also helps that Louise Cannon is very active in her interference. She now appears to be acting like a Tourette's patient as she randomly yells abuse at referee Ric Young.
  • DuBois continue showing an edge over Ino at 7:00 when he reverses an Irish whip and hits a series of vertical suplexes on the "Kobra." None of those suplexes, however, translate to a successful pin.
  • As we approach the ten-minute mark, Ino has gotten back in control, thanks to a Full Nelson Bomb on DuBois off a Nutcracker Sweet counter. Both Ino and DuBois struggle to recover, with Cannon and Joe Sexy pounding on the mat, and while both men get up on their feet simultaneously, Ino avoids a Sanitarium attempt and instead hits a Japanese Brainbuster on DuBois!
  • That move isn't quite what Ino needs to put DuBois away, so he waits a few moments before finishing the Maniac with his signature finisher, the Kobra's Bite. Jerry Eisen is frantically jumping up and down as Ino goes for the cover and Ric Young counts one, two, three, again allowing The Sex Maniacs' bad luck to keep piling up.

WINNER
- Ino in 10:44. Koshiro Ino moves on to the King of Supreme Quarterfinals (Round of 8) and is hired by the SWF.

J. Eisen
- The Hollyweird Rejects, as Barry Bowen calls them, are now two-for-two. Aaron Andrews is now part of the SWF, and now we have his puroresu-loving buddy Koshiro Ino now a part of the Supreme roster of talents!

A. Garcia
- The Sex Maniacs haven't been quite the same since the dissolution of The UnStable, though I'm not really complaining or concerned about that...

Michaels
- What's more important is that the SWF's talent pool has become even deeper, now that we've got two talented men from opposing sides of the globe joining our organization. Aaron Andrews and Koshiro Ino both make EXCELLENT additions to the SWF!

J. Eisen
- There still is the matter of Drew Hawkins and his match against Remo, and I honestly think Hawkins may have a hard time against The Alpha Dog, who hasn't lost in singles since Duane Fry took the reins of his career.

A. Garcia
- It takes a very special kind of competitor to last 20 minutes against Remo, but I think Hawkins can handle it. He's proven himself for the competition, so I don't see any reason why he can't do the same as he literally fights for a job in the SWF.

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/65_zps0b951598.jpg

Eric Eisen, Enforcer Allen and Paul Huntingdon are in the ring as the Supremacist has his own celebratory promo after winning the US Title from Lobster Warrior at Times of Trouble. This also marks the first time Eisen uses the word "Klubb" in his promos, as Huntingdon appears to be shedding his old hoity-toity gimmick without any explanation or advance warning - instead of his usual "aristocratic" get-up, Huntingdon, like Eisen, is wearing a leather jacket with a tank top underneath.

Huntingdon
- Payback was a bitch, wasn't it, Lobby? You cost me a sweet gig with the MCO, so I cost you your US Title. And now you've broken the hearts of these poor little children, who were hopin' you'd remain US Champion forever...and ever...and ever. Well, nothin' lasts forever, Lobby. Not money, not title reigns, and NOT LOSING.

E. Eisen
- Damn right about that, Paulie. Kinda hard gettin' over with the Klubb when you're out of touch with what these people want! And these people want someone who isn't afraid to speak his mind and be who he is...warts and all! That's the kind of champion I am, and if you haven't joined the Klubb, SWF Galaxy, you might as well hop on the Klubb-wagon to see why Eric Eisen never loses...and why you're gonna come out as winners.

Huntingdon
(in a clear New England accent)
- Take a look around you, SWF Galaxy. And this time, I'm not askin' you to do it as woebegone PEASANTS. I'm askin' you to take a look around and see things as a fan of this company, as a fan of this business. What do you see? Masked vigilantes in black trenchcoats with chains, vowing to make the SWF atone for its collective sins. Emma Chase openin' her wallet and openin' her legs the moment she sees anybody, anyone who's a big enough sap to join the MCO. Hell, the entire MCO, for cryin' out loud, and their rich and despotic Chairman. A big dolt who needs a skinny dork and another dumb musclehead with a speech impediment to do the speakin' for him. A rock star with a bad back, a cowardly ghetto punk who doesn't have the cojones to make the cash-in, a Canuck with anger management problems. And how can I forget...a 41-year-old man in a lobster suit.

Eisen
- Seriously now, SWF Galaxy? These are the people you either love or hate?
(pauses)
Let's get real here, and I do mean get real. I don't care if you love us or hate us. But you gotta do it for the right reasons. Either you love me, the Supreme Iconoclast, Eric Eisen, for bein' the most out-there Superstar in the history of the SWF, or you hate me for bein' the only man out there gutsy enough to be himself, warts and all.

Huntingdon
- This is the dawn of a new era in the SWF...and my man E-Money's US Title win, sorry-not-sorry, Richie Boy, is just the tip of the iceberg.

The promo is soon interrupted by Lobster Warrior's ring music, as he hits the ring with a costumed Angel Fish and reveals that he's got an actual Underwater Seas title, with a dolphin leaping and an American flag backdrop! Eisen, Huntingdon, and Allen, however, aren't impressed.

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/74_zps664ea623.jpg

  • The announcers remain baffled by Huntingdon's abrupt dropping of his aristocrat gimmick as Eric Eisen and Lobster Warrior lock up, meeting a second time after Eisen had relied on Huntingdon to win the US Title at Times of Trouble. Jerry Eisen, however, explains that Huntingdon had quietly befriended his brother during that one-month hiatus following The World is Watching, and "somehow turned into my brother's Mini-Me."
  • With or without "P-Hunt" and Enforcer Allen's assistance, Eisen is blatant in his cheating, and even pauses a few times to gloat about it, threatening to wedgie Darren Smith after he is warned for pulling Lobby's tights in a German Suplex pin attempt.
  • Eisen even stops to flirt with an obviously uninterested Angel Fish, though that helps Lobby return things to his favor, as he goes for a single-arm DDT with Eisen caught unaware.
  • "The Supreme Iconoclast," as he calls himself, is able to regain control at the six-minute mark, using an Enforcer Allen distraction to escape a Lobster Trap and go for a piledriver. For the next two minutes, Eisen continues to get away with murder, but that soon ends when Smith tells Huntingdon and Allen to behave, or he's sending them backstage.
  • With Allen and Huntingdon well-behaved, Eisen gets blasted with a desperation Shell Fish Shock, and while Lobby's too slow and groggy to make a proper cover, that's got the momentum fully on his side now...
  • At 10:10, Lobster Warrior has just endured a brief scare from Eisen, but he dodges a Supremacy and uses this missed punt kick, as many have done so in the past, to run the ropes and gain enough momentum for a big move.
  • Lobby softens Eisen up with a spear and picks him up for a Lobster Trap, but Eisen gets his ass saved when Huntingdon and Allen enter the ring and beat down on Lobby! Smith has had enough, and he disqualifies Eisen, giving the win to Lobby.

WINNER
- Lobby in 11:25. Eric Eisen is STILL the SWF United States Champion.

Michaels
- So he now wants to be known as P-Hunt, huh?

J. Eisen
- Yes, my brother is a very persuasive man, and it looks like he's convinced Paul Huntingdon to act less like a prissy snob and more like a cowardly bad-ass wannabe.

A. Garcia
- And it looks like we've got another faction forming ahead of Master of Puppets and Supreme Challenge 34! Yes, strength in numbers does appear to pay off here in the SWF, as Eric Eisen's got more than just Enforcer Allen having his back, with P-Hunt now joining forces with the Supremacist.

J. Eisen
- Supreme Iconoclast. That's what he calls himself now. Still doesn't change what I feel about Eric, though. He's still a Supreme Cheater, and someone who doesn't deserve to hold any kind of title, what with the way he's acting!

Angry Gilmore, Brandon James and Joey Minnesota vs The Money-Chase Organization (w/Emma Chase)

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/83_zps08b4c670.jpg

  • Before the match is announced, Barry Bowen appears on the Supreme-Tron and announces that tonight's semi-main event will be a no-disqualification, no-countout match, something that undoubtedly pleases the newly-reloaded Money-Chase Organization.
  • Immediately, the three villains of the MCO make full use of the stipulation, freely double-teaming Angry Gilmore, then Joey Minnesota. Minnesota, however, get a huge pop at the three-minute mark when he avoids a Crashing On attempt from Rogue, and uses his momentum to land a Samoan drop on the Scoundrel!
  • Though the loose alliance of babyfaces seems to have a good thing going for about two minutes, that ends when all three members of the MCO are in the ring after Brandon James flattens Jay Chord with a Big Money Move. As the cocky youngster gets up slowly, we see Rogue and Rich Money beat down on James inside the ring. Angry Gilmore cannot interfere as he's busy arguing with Emma Chase, while Minnesota is slow to get up on his feet after Money dropkicked him off the apron.
  • Soon, Gilmore too is taken out outside the ring (with a Crashing On), and that leaves the MCO to gang up on Brandon James! Chord, now recovered, contributes by repeatedly bashing James' knee with a chair, and threatening to swing the chair at Peter Michaels when he emphatically says that this "isn't a tag team match", but an "all-out massacre."
  • At 9:00, James is still systematically being slaughtered inside the ring by the MCO, and Money connects on a Dollars from Heaven, hoping for the win. Unfortunately for the Moneyman, James kicks out, and that has once again got Money furious at the referee.
  • That's exactly what James needs, as he tags in Minnesota, who enters with a hot tag at 9:50, and immediately takes his frustration out on the three MCO members! He soon teams up with Gilmore for an Empire Spiral/Sky High Elbow combo on Rogue, though Chord runs in quickly to break up the cover.
  • As Minnesota again tries for the win with a pancake on Chord (who was tagged in legally), we see James in excruciating pain, attended to by Gilmore. Minnesota goes for a cover, but Chord kicks out easily.
  • At 14:00, the MCO has once again made full use of the no-DQ, no-countout stipulation, with Gilmore out cold outside the ring following a Jay Chord DDT, and Rogue having felled Minnesota with a Crashing On, with Minnesota countering a second attempt and going for a Tiger Bomb soon thereafter. It looks like Minnesota has no choice to tag the (kayfabe) injured James in...
  • The crowd pops as James, "doing his best Willis Reed," as Peter Michaels says (early '70s NBA reference), uses his last reserves of strength to clothesline Rogue, then serve up a stiff lariat to an interfering Chord. Rogue tags Money in, and that's where we see probably Brandon James' most dramatic move thus far in the SWF - a Brandon Bomb Drop on one bad knee!
  • Money's out, and Chord and Rogue don't look to be in any shape to interfere, and Chase is on the apron, flashing the Dollar Signs to James. No matter - anyone who says James gets distracted too easily is effectively silenced, as James pins Money and picks up the win for his team.

WINNER
- Gilmore, James and Minnesota in 16:24

Michaels
- Good Gawd...somebody tell me this isn't happenin' to Brandon James...that was one of the most heart-stopping finishes we've seen from the Big Cat, but he looks to be in pain! In serious pain!

A. Garcia
- You saw how Brandon James lifted Rich Money up in the air for that Brandon Bomb Drop...you saw how, on what appears to be a busted knee or something, Brandon James had done the unthinkable. Times of Trouble may be over, but those injuries seem to be piling up for the SWF's proud roster of Superstars!

J. Eisen
- It was Jay Chord's fault. You saw how Chord had repeatedly bashed James' knee when he was ganged up on outside the ring. And there's Joey Minnesota, chasing after the MCO! Joey Minnesota, who befriended Brandon James soon after he joined the SWF, is running after the MCO as they head outside the ring! Look at those cowardly individuals, Jay Chord and Rogue, sprinting back to the locker room...

J. Eisen
- We still do not know the extent of Brandon James' injuries, but with Angry Gilmore likely to focus on the Road to Supreme Challenge 34 and his SWF World Heavyweight Title match, it looks like the fight against the MCO may just end up being carried by Joey Minnesota...though he may need some help from people like Jack Bruce. Or some or all of the so-called "Hollyweird Rejects," such as Drew Hawkins.

Michaels
- If you thought last month that Joey Minnesota vs Rich Money was the ultimate fantasy match, and I sure did at that time, you've probably guessed wrong! Wolf, I mean Drew Hawkins comes to the SWF as a young man who was personally trained by his previous organization's owner, who happens to be one of the most skilled individuals in this business. Back west, Drew won himself two World titles, and he did it with his versatile skill set and his devastatingly quick Full Moon Rising finisher. But could he hang with Remo for 15 minutes, much less defeat the 6'5"-285 Alpha Dog, who's been on a roll as of late?

J. Eisen
- I wouldn't say he's on a roll, Peter. After all, he has Vengeance to thank for that last win of his at Times of Trouble. Otherwise, Valiant was looking so close, so very close to winning his first SWF World Heavyweight Title!

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/77_zpsf6860ecc.jpg

Wearing street clothes, Valiant isn't booked to wrestle today, and it looks like he is extremely concerned about Nicky Champion - and what Vengeance and his Family of Darkness may have planned going forward for the Champions of Honor. Despite Jessie telling Valiant that talking to him would do no good, the Honorable One somehow still sees a good person in the heelish Christian Faith, and decides to try enlisting Faith's services against Vengeance and his stable.

Valiant
- I want to help Nicky in his fight, and there isn't anyone out there who's had a better record against Vengeance. Nicky's been hospitalized with a concussion - most any other man would have fared worse against Vengeance. Most any other man, Christian, and even if you and I no longer see eye-to-eye on things...I know that I too am a man of Faith just as I am a man of honor. And even if I don't agree with the way you get your message across, there are some things in today's world...

Faith
- Wait a minute there, Faith Junior. Yeah, that's right. Faith Junior. That's what they called you when you first set foot in this locker room. You're asking me, Christian Faith, to help the cause of a man whose cocky words and arrogant swagger is the antithesis of what an SWF Superstar should be? I'm afraid, SON, that I am gonna have to turn you down. Nicky Champion made your bed, so you all lie in it.

Faith decides not to say anymore, and leaves Valiant hanging in the air, wondering what the Supreme Legend meant by that last statement of his...

Drew Hawkins vs Remo © (w/Duane Fry)

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/84_zps4113c954.jpg

  • As Barry Bowen realizes how tough it is these days to be up against Remo, he is not requiring Drew Hawkins to win his debut match, but rather requiring the man formerly known as "Wolf" to last 20 minutes against the Alpha Dog. With Duane Fry yelling away on the megaphone, it looks like Remo is set on ending this match at the soonest possible time...
  • Fry barks at Remo and asks him to show off his "technical skills", though it doesn't amount to little more than a few basic arm bars and rest holds.
  • At the four-minute mark, Hawkins gets in the groove, countering a Rise and Shine with a legsweep, and following up with a running elbow drop. A loud "Awooooooooooo!!!!!" pops the crowd, as a carryover catchphrase from TCW.
  • A lung blower on Remo at 6:40 continues keeping things even, and Hawkins tries to show off his exciting skill set with a plancha. However, Remo rolls away, and that helps him regain control.
  • Remo has Hawkins beaten up well enough to go for a Lumbar Puncture at 9:50, and that seemingly has the highly-touted newcomer beaten. Shane Stones counts, but Hawkins kicks out at a fraction short of three seconds!
  • Hawkins makes his comeback at the 11:30 mark when he counters the Destroyer and goes for a gutwrench suplex! Fry cannot believe it, and the announcers are equally impressed with the smaller man in his debut match!
  • As both men try to recover, Fry starts calling for backup, and The Pain Alliance makes their way ringside, in case things continue to get iffy for the Alpha Dog. That's when Hawkins recovers, and floors Remo with a neckbreaker.
  • Hawkins continues getting the better of Remo, and is able to land the Full Moon Rising on the big guy, when Big Smack Scott distracts Stones and allows Laramee to run in for a Switchblade Powerslam, a "welcoming present" of sorts for Hawkins!
  • Remo slowly comes to, and is all set to pin Hawkins, when, all of a sudden...

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/3a13ca6d-2c15-4ee2-801e-6b1ef267a867_zpsbe14108c.jpg

  • ...Angry Gilmore runs in and starts beating away on Remo! Gilmore relentlessly peppers Remo with mounted punches, and Shane Stones has no choice but to make this a DQ and cost Hawkins the match...and possibly his chances of being employed by the SWF (in storyline).

WINNER
- Remo in 17:37

Michaels
- MY GAWD! LOOK AT ANGRY GILMORE, WAILIN' AWAY ON DUANE FRY'S GUYS!

J. Eisen
- One man...one 225-pound man...Angry Gilmore has waylaid BOTH Pain Alliance members, and he's hammering away on Remo!

A. Garcia
- And there's Duane Fry with a chair in hand...down it goes on Angry Gilmore's back! And Drew Hawkins is not liking this one bit.

Michaels
- I can understand his frustration, though. Drew Hawkins, one-time protege of Tommy Cornell over in the competition, was fighting for an SWF contract. His fellow free agents Aaron Andrews and Koshiro Ino, just earlier, hit two birds with one stone and advanced to the next round of the King of Supreme tournament AND got SWF contracts too. But it looks like Hawkins, just as Duane Fry's Guys had warned earlier, remains unemployed following that DQ loss against Remo!

J. Eisen
- Guess that means Drew Hawkins' hopes of joining the SWF are officially dashed?

Michaels
- I wouldn't say so, Jerry. After all, he's still a free agent, and assuming he doesn't get any offers from other competing promotions, I'm guessing he gets another chance to get hired - if he isn't hired outright - in the coming week.

(PROMO) Vengeance Rants About Champion

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Grades/89_zps588813e2.jpg

The final promo of the evening features Vengeance, who is showered by boos and cheers of "GET WELL NICKY! (CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP)", as he talks about Nicky Champion's "atonement" for his "sins" not being complete, despite Vengeance's earlier Cage Escape win at Times of Trouble...

Vengeance
- The atonement isn't over, Nicholas. Sunday night was just the first of many crosses you have to carry. The fog in your head may be thick enough to make most men forget about their sinful existence, but knowing you, Nicholas, that's far from sufficient. And your sins...are far too many for a simple concussion and another loss to the Father of Darkness to make up for.

Vengeance raises his arms and pyro explodes in the arena, as the Supreme-Tron turns on with a black background on the screen. As it turns out, it's just John Darkness with his hand on the camera - we soon see Hannah, tied up and gagged inside Vengeance's hearse, flanked by both New Darkness Warriors!

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/d49e85c1-1675-4ff3-a52a-d2b498a1c12d_zps777a1d56.jpghttp://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/c4fa4800-6a59-4272-969c-82db96649c63_zpsc429bb13.jpghttp://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/6d0b4afa-ec05-4e80-a568-63ad1d3792d1_zpse6de8e89.jpg

Vengeance
- Say hello to these sinful minions, Hannah. Your indiscretions with Eric Eisen have long gone unpunished.

Hannah
- Mmmmpfffff...Hmmmmmffffff!!!!!

Vengeance
- Surely Valiant would think twice about saving the woman who once broke his heart, right? Surely he'd want to go after me, while Lobster Warrior may still be upset over failing to win back the US Title from the, uh...third party from months back. And, as you know, Hannah, your client Nicholas has still got his brain fogged out. You have no choice now, Hannah. You may have pretended to join the Family...but there's no room for make-believe now.
(to the NDW's, as Robert Darkness switches to the driver's seat)
Floor it, Robert.

Robert Darkness looks on at the camera, with a sullen look in his face. He turns the key to the hearse and has got the motor started.

Vengeance
- There's no dilly-dallying when it comes to saving the world from sin. You heard me, Robert, my son. Don't let me down. FLOOR IT! PUT THAT FOOT ON THE GAS AND ENSURE THAT VENGEANCE...SHALL BE OURS!!!!

Robert D., however, is too slow, as Valiant and Lobster Warrior are now at the parking lot! The two remaining Champions of Honor then engage The New Darkness Warriors in a parking lot brawl, and soon The Awesomeness are joining in as well, freeing Hannah from the clutches of the unhinged vigilante and his charges! The lights then go off inside the arena, and remain off for a good one minute, with the Supreme-Tron also off.

When the lights go back on, the Supreme-Tron shows Vengeance and The New Darkness Warriors lying down in a heap in the parking lot, and Lobster Warrior, Valiant, and The Awesomeness helping Hannah back to the locker room. By the looks of things, the short-handed Champions of Honor seem to have gotten some much-needed help from a decidedly "sinful" pair of kayfabe glam rockers as they face common enemies in The Family of Darkness.

Michaels
- Good thing Hannah is okay. But that was a close call...a very close call, as Vengeance continues to terrorize The Champions of Honor, and, as we've seen for the past few weeks on Uprising, The Awesomeness too!

J. Eisen
- It took four men to dispose of those three Family of Darkness members, including Vengeance himself. When will this persecution ever stop?

A. Garcia
- Apparently, Vengeance doesn't seem to have any plans of stopping. He feels Nicky Champion has sinned too much, and is always ready with a trick or two up his sleeves as he hopes to make Champion see the light by Embracing the Darkness!

J. Eisen
- I've had enough of that twisted paradox, to be honest with you, Ana. Especially at a time like this, when Nicky Champion remains at Providence, being tended to and observed by doctors, instead of competing here on Supreme TV and hoping to become More than Just a Name!

Michaels
- I think the SWF Galaxy nailed it right on the head when they were cheering Nicky Champion's name earlier - get well, Nicky.
(pauses)
For Jerry Eisen and Ana Garcia, this has been the Dean, Peter Michaels. Class is dismissed, and we hope to see you next week for another thrilling Tuesday evening of Supreme TV!

OOC - Whoopsie-daisies. All along I had thought Jacob Jett was still in 4C. But as it turns out, the guy's already with NOTBPW, on a written deal. Looks like he's going to be replaced on High Stakes Season 2 by Rudy Velasquez, who's currently the subject of a major bidding war with TCW. :o Changes should now reflect on the previous PWH article.

"I'm Afraid I've Got Some Bad News"

Thursday, May 22, 2014

Green Airport (PVD), Providence, R.I.

10:00 a.m.

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster/DesDavids_zpscd265b3e.jpg

"Good news, Nicky. They just wrote Brandon outta TV. You can say that with all these TCW guys comin' over, the SWF's suddenly become top-heavy."

"Does that mean he's not gonna be showing up for Supreme TV and the like?", I answered, conscious of how I sounded. I was still slurring a bit, but Des could understand me just fine as I talked to him on the phone while waiting to board the plane.

"Damn right, Nicky. No Brandon James for three months."

"That's great, Des!"

"Not for us. We all had to show up at the guy's farewell party after Supreme TV."

"Was Emma hanging with the Klubb again?"

"Nah, she was hangin' with us. Man, that girl could sure throw down beers with the boys! Don't worry, Nicky, none of us tried anything funny with her."

"You better make sure of that!", I said, managing a faint laugh. "Now you said that's the good news. What's the bad news?"

"Oh, you are not gonna like this, man. I've got more than one bit of bad news for you. One, the Klubb's got one more member."

"Lemme guess...Jay Chord turned around and decided he's still cool with the Klubb after all?"

"No, Nicky, Jay was with us and he outdrank the lot of us. Crazy-ass kid. But he can be real funny. "

"Who is it then?"

"Aaron Andrews."

"Not surprised." Aaron was one of three new TCW hires who had debuted two nights ago on Supreme TV. He was tight with Joey Minnesota, who was in turn tight with Eric and Jerry Eisen, and it was no shock that he was in with the Klubb right off the bat.

Still, I had to find out what else was up before I boarded the plane to L.A. for Under My Thumb shooting. "So, what's the rest of the bad news?"

"I told you about the SWF bein' top-heavy with the new TCW guys debuting. But that's not why Brandon's bein' written off television."

"What is it then?"

"You will be hangin' with him in L.A. for as long as you're shootin' that '60s period flick. Tricky Rick Eisen just secured a deal with a bigger-name producer than Adam Flanders or...what's his name?"

"Smithers."

"Smithers. Wrong Simpsons character, my bad. Anyway, Brandon's been cast as James Tristan. Remember James Tristan?"

"Nope, doesn't ring a bell."

"Bad-ass Navy S.E.A.L. who gets discharged and starts takin' the law into his own hands against a bunch of evil terrorists. Rick was talkin' about it last Sunday, after Times of Trouble."

"Dude, I was injured! I had no idea..."

"Well, now you do. SWF Studios is producing a bigger-budget film called The S.E.A.L., and a lot of the scenes are gonna be shot in the Southwest, mostly in the Mojave Desert, but the non-action scenes will be shot in that California town where you're shootin' Under My Thumb."

"Oh, shit."

"That's right, Nicky. Be prepared to bump into Brandon James from time to time...and keep your guard up, because you know and I know he too has had a boner for Emma ever since their days in DaVE."

Well, I guess my little vacation from the SWF wasn't going to be that stress-free after all. Shooting crappy '60s movie and playing an 18-year-old (at least) high school bully? Fine with me. Shielding Emma from platonic friend who wants to swoop in, knowing that a guy he doesn't like is dating her? No fun at all.

The last Supreme TV is recapped for the benefit of the fans who missed that show, as we see how Aaron Andrews, Drew (formerly Wolf) Hawkins, and Koshiro Ino rejected Rich Money's offer to join the MCO (shortly after he introduced Jay Chord as the latest member of the stable), how Steve Frehley nearly cashed in his Nothing to Lose contract for the SWF Title against a fallen Jack Bruce, and how Brandon James was taken out of action by Jay Chord's repeated chair shots to the Big Cat's knee. Also on spotlight here are Angry Gilmore's run-in against Remo, a move that may have prevented Hawkins from earning an SWF contract (he had to last at least 20 minutes, win or lose, in his match against Remo), and Vengeance's failed attempt to kidnap Hannah as her charge Nicky Champion recovered from a real-life injury.

(ANGLE) Matt Keith Wins Week 11 Mentor's Poll (67/C+)

We're now in the penultimate week of High Stakes, as Melanie Florence and Peter Michaels are in the ring, reminding the crowd of that fact and announcing the winner of the final Mentor's Poll - Matthew Keith. Second, third, and fourth are held by Skye Sunlight, Findlay O'Farraday, and Spencer Spade. Again, Rich Money complains that O'Farraday was robbed, but Michaels pays no attention and redirects things to tonight's agenda. Earlier today, the four surviving rookies competed in the first two parts of the High Stakes Triathlon (swimming, sprinting, and weightlifting), with the first two challenges worth three points each. Michaels says that the final challenge, or triathlon leg, would be worth four immunity points, and that the best overall performer in the triathlon will be rewarded with a spot in the ongoing King of Supreme tournament.

Melanie Florence takes over afterwards, and after reminding the fans that the worker with the most immunity points at the end of the show will get an automatic SWF contract and make it to the final three (but not necessarily be guaranteed to win it all), she says tonight will be about tag team action with mentors banned from ringside - Matthew Keith and Skye Sunlight versus The Pain Alliance, and Spencer Spade and Findlay O'Farraday versus Lobster Warrior and Valiant. Rookies who beat the mentors get three immunity points each.

This week's results:

1. Matthew Keith (2)

2. Skye Sunlight (1)

3. Findlay O'Farraday (5)

4. Spencer Spade (3)

MENTOR'S POLL WINNER - M. Keith. Matthew Keith gets three immunity points.

(HYPE VIDEO) Spencer Spade and Marc DuBois (68/C+)

This final hype video serves as a "report card" of sorts with High Stakes winding down for the season, and Marc DuBois says that he's glad that he and Spencer Spade eventually worked out their differences, and that Spade will prove that he's much better than his win-loss record suggests. This all plays as we see scenes comparing DuBois and Spade's rocky relationship in the early weeks, and their more cordial relationship in recent weeks.

Spade, like the rest of the top four rookies, is asked what ring music he wants should he get offered an SWF contract, and he goes with Sweet Water's "Superstar." Why? "It's simple," says Spade. "Sweet Water is a band from my home state of Washington, and that song's chorus speaks to me literally - do you wanna be rich, do you wanna be a superstar? Well, Spencer, you already are!"

Lobster Warrior and Valiant vs Findlay O'Farraday and Spencer Spade (55/C-)

In an extremely short match,
Lobster Warrior and Valiant
defeated Findlay O'Farraday and Spencer Spade in 3:50 when Lobster Warrior defeated Spencer Spade by pinfall with a Shell Fish Shock.

Curran
- We said it last week, we'll say it again this week...

Earnest
- Heck, I think we said it two weeks ago. Stick a fork in Spencer. That kid is D-O-N-E, done!

Florence
- And once again, I agree with that assessment. Findlay, at least, was giving Lobster Warrior some problems. Spencer Spade? Completely bloody useless. And I'm not saying that merely because he tried to hit on me in the first few weeks of the season.

(ANGLE) O'Farraday Beats Down on Spade (31/E+)

With Rich Money gleefully watching backstage, Findlay O'Farraday turns on his tag teammate and hits that dreaded Atomic Spinebuster on the so-called Supreme Star! O'Farraday kicks him repeatedly near the rib area, and follows up with another power move - a nasty-looking inverted piledriver! Marc DuBois tries to step in, but finds himself reeling back when O'Farraday threatens to give him a similar treatment in the ring...

(HYPE VIDEO) Findlay O'Farraday and Rich Money (76/B-)

Rich Money says in this video that Findlay O'Farraday is "on the cusp of being Money", and that he may potentially be another "source of figurative revenue" for his Money-Chase Organization. Talking about big Fin's chances of winning it all, Money says, a bit defensively, that he doesn't need to bribe anyone to give O'Farraday the Season 1 win - anyone with half a brain, and he knows Peter Michaels, Melanie Florence, and "most" of the other mentors have half a brain, knows that no High Stakes rookie has dominated like O'Farraday has.

When asked about his desired ring music, O'Farraday says he'd like to enter to the tune of "Contractor" by Lamb of God - because it's "guaran-bleepin'-teed" that he's going to spill some blood in the ring with his bruising style of wrestling.

(HIGH STAKES CHALLENGE) High Stakes Triathlon Part 1 - Swimming (72/B-)

Earlier in the day, the four remaining High Stakes rookies were at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in the University of Nebraska, not far from where tonight's episode is being aired, and Melanie Florence talks the fans through the High Stakes Triathlon - unlike previous challenges, this is more of a conventional test of athleticism and strength, as it has each of the rookies test each other's mettle in swimming, track and field, and weightlifting. The fans see several clips of the High Stakes rookies swimming a lap around the pool, and the challenge's results are as follows:

1. Sunlight

2. Keith

3. Spade

4. O'Farraday

Rich Money and the other mentors are also shown watching these taped clips, and Money cringes as he sees what a poor swimmer Findlay O'Farraday is. In contrast, Lobster Warrior, who barely mentored this season, congratulates Huey Cannonball and Jefferson Stardust for having a "snappeh" rookie in Skye Sunlight, who dominates this part of the High Stakes Triathlon.

CHALLENGE WINNER
- Sunlight. Skye Sunlight gets three immunity points.

(HYPE VIDEO) Skye Sunlight and The Awesomeness (59/C)

The Awesomeness make for one chaotic interview, as Huey Cannonball and Jefferson Stardust find themselves constantly talking over each other due to their excitement over Skye Sunlight's "shock and awe-ing" performance in High Stakes. Stardust says it's because he and Cannonball "pretty much left Skye to do as he pleases", while Cannonball asserts that Sunlight "is just that good, dude. Skye Sunlight is just that good, and we can't wait till he gets signed to an SWF recording, er...SWF contract!"

Speaking in his usual Jim Morrison-esque sleepy baritone, Sunlight goes with a song his band back home in Atlanta used to cover - Stereo Shoestring's obscure garage classic from 1968, "On the Road South." Sunlight says he chose the song because he is, just like the singer, searching for something to believe in. He adds that if the SWF is also searching for something or someone to believe in, he might as well be that guy, as he can do things the SWF Galaxy never thought was possible. "You oughta put me in a ladder match, man," quips Sunlight in reference to his CZCW past.

(HIGH STAKES CHALLENGE) High Stakes Triathlon Part 2 - Track and Field (72/B-)

This clip is another one from earlier in the morning, as the High Stakes survivors take place in a simple 40-yard dash, much like what's required out of prospective NFL rookies. The rookies, however, get three chances to post the best possible time, and here's how they fared in this second part of the High Stakes Triathlon:

1. Sunlight - 4.65

2. Keith - 4.74

3. Spade - 4.95

4. O'Farraday - 5.22

Once again, it's the tattooed Sunlight who emerges as the winner in this challenge, and that moves him up to second place in immunity points, with a total of 14. Florence, again trying to get close to her not-so-secret High Stakes crush, asks Sunlight if he tried out for any sports back when he was in school.

Sunlight
- Oh, I did a little track, a little football...

Florence
- You mean hand-egg, don't you?

Sunlight
- Yeah...hand-egg. Coach kicked me off the team because he didn't like my hair...that dude was a real buzzkill. So yeah...a little track, a little football, and even less of the other sports. But most of the time, I did a lot of green.
(winks his eye)

CHALLENGE WINNER
- Sunlight. Skye Sunlight gets three immunity points.

Matthew Keith and Skye Sunlight vs The Pain Alliance (57/C-)

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat,
The Pain Alliance defeated Matthew Keith and Skye Sunlight
in 6:13 when Big Smack Scott defeated Matthew Keith by pinfall with an Ego Trip. (Scott benefited from some illegal double-teaming from Laramee that didn't get caught by referee Darren Smith.)

Earnest
- Can someone tell me why the heck Kurt Laramee took part in this match, when he isn't even mentoring next season?

Florence
- That one's on me, sorry. Duane Fry was very, very insistent that Kurt Laramee have something to do, so I had no choice but to cave in and make that match. Turns out it was the wrong move, as Laramee had clearly robbed Matt and Skye of three more immunity points apiece.

(HIGH STAKES CHALLENGE) High Stakes Triathlon Part 3 - Weightlifting

This final stage is taking place "live" at the Pershing Center locker room, and the four rookies are now asked to complete as many reps as possible on the 225-pound bench press. Road agents Chief Two Eagles and Marcus McKing and referees Ric Young and Shane Stones are on hand to count the reps, and it looks like McKing has the easiest job - Spencer Spade gives up after just seven reps.

As for the complete results, it's no surprise who comes out on top:

1. O'Farraday - 46

2. Sunlight - 23

3. Keith - 18

4. Spade - 7

Sunlight looks exhausted after starting out quickly and burning out as he reached his 20th rep, but he is informed by Melanie Florence that his performances in the first two parts of the High Stakes Triathlon qualify him for the King of Supreme eliminations, with the last two round-of-16 matches taking place on the next Supreme TV. But since Findlay O'Farraday won this final leg, which is worth four immunity points, he wins the immunity point race and is now guaranteed an SWF contract, and a Top 3 finish - but not a title shot just yet, as anyone could still win High Stakes.

CHALLENGE WINNER
- O'Farraday. Findlay O'Farraday gets four immunity points and wins immunity points race with a total of 17.

(HYPE VIDEO) Matthew Keith and Steve Frehley (78/B)

Steve Frehley is asked to hype Matthew Keith, and he says, in a rather mumbly voice, that Keith improved "by leaps and bounds" the moment he took over from Eric Eisen. Frehley adds that Keith has a "great future in the business", and that he's glad to be a part of Keith's improvement as a wrestler and as an individual, though his tone doesn't sound all that convincing.

Matthew Keith decides to go with one of his personal favorite songs, Neurotica's "Ride of Your Life" as his ring music, and he explains that it's because he sees High Stakes as having been the "ride of (his) life", one where he rose above Eric Eisen's attempts to throw him under the bus, only to make the loudest noise in the competition so far, thanks to his new mentor Frehley's guidance.

(ANGLE) Spade Eliminated from High Stakes (78/B)

This one's a mere formality, but for the sake of keeping the SWF Galaxy in suspense, Peter Michaels calls Skye Sunlight and Matthew Keith to join Spencer Spade in the ring, as he announces who will finish fourth in the first season of High Stakes and bid the competition goodbye with one week to go. Not surprisingly, Spade gets the boot, as the mentors all agree that Sunlight and Keith, as well as O'Farraday, who finished with the most immunity points, would all make good long-term hires for the SWF should they win the first season.

Spade, making a 360-degree turn after seemingly getting along so well with Marc DuBois in the past few weeks, rips into DuBois for being an ineffective mentor, and for failing to save him from the earlier beatdown at the hands of O'Farraday. He closes out by saying that he's confident the SWF will still take a chance on him despite his failure to win the contest - after all, says Spade, "this is MY TIME, MY RING, and MY SWF. See you this summer on Supreme TV!"

UPRISING:

Fry
- If you're lookin' for the worst kind of Thursday late-night wrestling out there, then you've found it here on SWF Uprising! I'm Duane Fry, the proverbial rose among the bumbling, incompetent thorns, and I'm joined tonight by Marvin Earnest and Sammy Curran, here at the Pershing Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Man, did that High Stakes episode stink!

Earnest
- On the contrary, Duane. There may have been only two matches, but...

Fry
- ...but thank you for reminding me! I guess High Stakes wasn't too bad after all, if you overlook those pointless challenges! That's because my clients, the Scourge of the Bronx, THE PAAAAAAAAIN ALLIAAAAAANCE...gave those two raw-boned rooks Matt Keith and Skye Sunlight a little taste of what they can expect in the big leagues!

Earnest
- Matt and Skye were robbed, and you know it, Duane. Matthew Keith had that Proton Lock locked in, but Kurt Laramee had to pull a fast one on Darren Smith, and knock Keith off of the Smacker!

Curran
- Normally, I like Darren Smith's officiating, but he must've been as blind as Ray Charles not have seen Laramee run in during that match!

Fry
- Wah wah wah. Wah wah wah. All you two are good for is cryin' over spilled milk. The Pain Alliance embarrassed the tattooed loser and the homeless man's Sam Keith, circa 1942. And that's the end of that chapter.

Earnest
- But this is just the start of the Uprising proper, and we've got some good stuff here for you tonight. We've got four - count that - four King of Supreme qualifiers, including the feuding Jamie Lee Prudence and Freddy Garcia up against their respective foes - Roger Cage and Donnie J, respectively!

Fry
- We've also got those Gothic creeps, The New Darkness Warriors, versus the '80s hair metal rejects from The Awesomeness, in tag team action! Boy, are those matches non-barnstormers or what?

Cody DeBottom vs Enforcer Allen (10/F)

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Others/8293cf2b-d04f-480b-afe1-628e2c45d6a6_zps8f38ab13.jpg vs http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/243543fb-990c-47bc-a8c2-7db75d85044d_zpsb55ab54f.jpg

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat,
Enforcer Allen defeated Cody DeBottom
in 2:01 by pinfall with a Flying Lariat. (Cody DeBottom is actually Andy "Paranoia" DeBottom, renamed due to the presence of Aaron Andrews, Andrew "Drew" Hawkins, and Andy (Anderz Thunderz) Erlandsson in the SWF.)

Fry
- Cody DeBottom. What an apropos name for a guy who's just gotten himself crushed by the 315-pound Enforcer Allen, just so he has enough to buy a cup of Joe at the local diner!

E. Eisen
(on guest commentary)
- It's a good thing Uprising GM Eric Tyler sees a lot in my Enforcer. That kid's a phenomenal athlete, a total powerhouse, and...

Fry
- ...and he's not Remo. Good luck with your boy, Eric, but you can give him all the exposure he rightfully deserves and he STILL won't be worthy of wearin' Remo's jockstraps.

The Wright Brotherz vs 24/7 Partay Dudez (Mainstream/J-Sense) (w/VJ Britney Hollywood and Stevie) (37/D-)

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Others/a7c6bb15-3ebc-4e1d-a325-83da3236c93b_zps2696718a.jpghttp://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/Others/9c658de3-b8f2-49d9-ac39-a3c085adb2e7_zps1be8ea77.jpg vs http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/931ba5b1-e085-4d3e-a41f-eacc43aa6a7b_zps640b97e6.jpghttp://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/edaccf00-5c14-4076-8094-624ec264d806_zpsbb0186c8.jpg

In an extremely short match,
J-Sense and Mainstream defeated The Wright Brotherz
in 4:02 when Mainstream defeated Awesome Orville Wright by pinfall with an Apparition #14. (The Wright Brotherz are on-loan talents THE ARCHITECT, a.k.a. Awesome Orville, and Robbie Wright, a.k.a. Wonderful Wilbur Wright. The Partay Dudez used this match to take advantage of the long-forgotten "Tuesday's Gone Rule", where any two members of a stable can qualify as the same tag team.)

Fry
- The undefeated streak continues. The 24/7 Partay Dudez remain unbeaten in the SWF, and if you ask me, they deserve a chance at the SWF World Tag Team titles currently being held by The Amazingly Stupid Bumfholes!

Earnest
- What do you mean? Sure, Mainstream and Stevie are undefeated, but...

Fry
- But you're stupid, Marv. Check your head and go look up the Tuesday's Gone Rule on Google or wherever. The Partay Dudez are one faction, so any two members of that faction can qualify as the Partay Dudez tag team.

Curran
- I already knew that, but Duane, do you really have to insult Marvin like that on national television?

#Edd (w/Lisa) vs Dmitri Anselianenko (w/Kristina Angelova) (48/D+)

[King of Supreme Round of 16 Qualifier]

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/c0867328-814c-47ad-bcd4-174c0baea76a_zps184b4183.jpg vs http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/9833db41-485f-4c9e-82a3-775b93841460_zps02514bc3.jpg

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat,
Dmitri Anselianenko defeated #Edd
in 6:19 by pinfall with an Putin Press after a distraction from Kristina Angelova. Anselianenko moves on to the King of Supreme Quarterfinals (Round of 8).

Fry
- How's that, Hashtag Boy? Comin' in to the SWF and openin' the floodgates for all these Hollyweird freaks. Joey Minnesota, Jay Chord, and now Andrews, Hawkins, and Ino...

Earnest
- It's not his fault, Duane, and you know that. And I don't think it's #Edd's fault either that he's had mixed results since arriving here from the competition.

Curran
- For one, I have noticed that a lot of his opponents have been way larger than he is. #Edd has been thrown to the lions upon his arrival in Supreme, and I have to wonder as well why that has been the case.

(ANGLE) Anselianenko Beaten Down by Davids (57/C-)

Dmitri Anselianenko, who has finally won his first singles match in several months, angrily grabs a mic from the stage hand, and returns to the ring, insulting the crowd in a bad Russian accent. Aside from calling the audience "stupid Americanskys" and telling them to shut up by yelling "VNIMANIE!", the "Born-Again Russian" rants about Des Davids, pointing out times when Prime Time wasn't there for him...

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/DesDavids_zps8fc253f3.jpg

...but Prime Time definitely IS there, as Des Davids runs in and assaults Anselianenko, with manager Kristina Angelova screaming in incomprehensible, hastily-learned Russian, and a few English words here and there. But it all goes to naught, as Anselianenko lays on the mat, with the feud heating up between the two former tag teammates and erstwhile midcarders...

(ANGLE) Tyler Tries Intimidating #Edd (56/C-)

With the last match over, #Edd is storming to the locker room to confront GM Eric Tyler - he's had enough of being pitted against much larger men, including Dmitri Anselianenko, Enforcer Allen, Findlay O'Farraday, and even Rogue, who isn't that much larger, but is definitely an unpredictable, violent sort. Meanwhile, Tyler is in his office, busy keeping confiscated items, including a deck of playing cards, a PS Vita, bottles of beer, and even a pack of Doritos, in a large drawer, much like a teacher would do the same to these items...

#Edd
- This isn't right anymore, Mr. Tyler.

Lisa
- #Edd's right. Week after week, you feed him to these big guys, and you put him at the risk of serious injury. When is my boyfriend ever going to get a fair shake in Supreme?

Tyler
- Why, it's Hashbrown Edd and Leela!

#Edd
- It's HASHTAG Edd and Lisa, Mr. Tyler. And I am not in any mood to party right now!

Tyler
(as he passes a whiteboard with a list of "offenders" of specific Tyler commandments)
- I think that's good, #Edd, because as I keep on saying, this is a place of business.

#Edd
- But that's the thing, Mr. Tyler. I LOVE to party, and so does my lovely Lisa. We wanna groove and jive and boogie and yell "EDD-FU!!!!" for free drinks, but how can I groove and boogie and jive when you keep pairin' me up against these BRUTES?

Tyler
- Look, #Edd, if I really wanted to punish you, I'd feed you to Karlov....I mean Khoslov...whatever. Rich Money's big Russian. So if I were you, I'd be thankful I have a job here in the SWF, and I'll work first, ask questions later.
(pauses)
Or better yet...never.

Lisa
- You'll regret it when this legendary party animal's party is permanently over...
(walks away with #Edd)

#Edd
(to Lisa)
- It's okay, babe. I think I know whom to talk to.

Lisa
- #EDD! NOT HIM!

#Edd
- The sooner I talk to him, the better. Trust me on this, baby, if you wanna party, and I know you wanna party like I do, then it is imperative...for me to bring the EDD-FU!!!!!! to you-know-who.

Donnie J vs Frederique A. Garcia (57/C-)

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat,
Frederique A. Garcia defeated Donnie J
in 7:04 by pinfall with a Romeo Is Bleeding after a distraction from Stevie. Garcia moves on to the King of Supreme Quarterfinals (Round of 8).

Fry
- Heeheeheeheehee, Wipeout!
(mouths the riffs to the Surfaris' early-'60s hit instrumental "Wipeout")

Earnest
- And there we have another dated reference from Duane Fry.

Fry
- Couldn't help it, Marv! And who are you to be the pot callin' the kettle black? You're almost as old as Ares Aegalaeus, and only a tenth as clever!

Curran
- Boys, if you'd stop arguing for a moment, it looks like Freddy Garcia is gloating by doin' the Partay Dudez dance with Stevie and VJ Britney! No doubt about it - Freddy and the Dudez are in cahoots.

Fry
- Well, DUH!

(BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW) Florence Interviews Atomic, Eric Eisen Interrupts (78/B)

Captain Atomic is being interviewed backstage by Melanie Florence, as he hypes up his North American title in his inimitable way, talking about how he "DECIMATED, DEMOLISHED, AND DECAPITATED THE RABID RAGAMUFFIN RAPSCALLION ROGUE" and turned him into nuclear waste, and how Rogue doesn't have it in him to demand a rematch. Florence says that might be because Rich Money needs Rogue and Jay Chord as Money may need backup against Jack Bruce as he hopes to win the SWF Title back, and Atomic is in the process of answering when Eric Eisen, P-Hunt, and the taciturn Enforcer Allen interrupt.

The former Paul Huntingdon starts by complimenting Florence on her tattoos, and following up with some risque quips about possibly having his and Eisen's faces tattooed on each side of her chest. Atomic steps in Florence's defense, and things soon get heated, with P-Hunt in particular calling Atomic out for his child-oriented superhero gimmick

P-Hunt
- Rogue's always been one to make excuses, Mr. Jim Force Cosplay. He's never gonna be more than Rich Money's little bitch. But you know what, buddy? Paul Huntingdon ain't nobody's bitch. He ain't nobody's lapdog. And this new, improved Paul Huntingdon, or should I say P-Hunt, is gonna whip your little ass and win that North American title from you, if you'd gimme the chance.

Atomic accepts the challenge, but Eisen butts in and says that's not going to happen just yet - it all depends on how Huntingdon performs in the King of Supreme tournament. Eisen challenges Atomic to a match on the next Supreme TV in a non-title "battle of champions", and the challenge is accepted.

(TALK SHOW) Cage Interviews The Amazing Bumfholes (57/C-)

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/52500455-709e-4167-93bb-808c76a8f31a_zps2876a50a.jpghttp://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/c40952b1-444d-4dab-a1ae-4fd2c4aaca55_zps75d2c861.jpghttp://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/5120ae97-e829-45ea-8406-bce3e98d7320_zpsb9708838.jpg

Randy and Zimmy Bumfhole are Roger Cage's guests for tonight's Secrets of the Smooth episode, and Cage makes fun of the Bumfholes' reputations as being a bit lacking up there by introducing them as a tag team that's "allergic to college", while extolling the virtues of being well-educated when it comes to meeting girls - even if he himself isn't. Unfortunately, the rest of the interview falls flat, as the Bumfholes don't seem to have that comedic chemistry with Cage - a few fans can be heard shouting "BORING!" and "WE WANT WRESTLING!" as Cage unsuccessfully drills the Bumfs on "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader"-type questions.

Fortunately for those getting restless with the rather choppy interview, Sober Police exits the locker room to accuse the Bumfholes of having cheated to win (Haley Bumfhole having swapped the Sober Cops' water with "Bumfhohol"). As the Bumfholes defend themselves against the accusations by pretending they didn't know, the 24/7 Partay Dudez, now accompanied by Freddy Garcia, also rant at the Bumfs and say that they deserve a title shot since they're undefeated. The argument continues until Eric Tyler appears on the Supreme-Tron and says he's actually spoken to Barry Bowen beforehand, and they've agreed to book the Sober Police and 24/7 Partay Dudez in what should have been a three-way number one contender match for the tag titles. The Awesomeness were also considered, but Tyler told Bowen not to book them as they "don't have the look of potential champs" due to their long hair.

Meanwhile, Jamie Lee Prudence continues teasing a face turn, and we see him next, barging into Tyler's office and saying that he's got a new tag team partner and that they want a shot at the titles, given their long history as partners. Prudence, who has dropped his effeminate tendencies, says that he and Donnie J have long been tagging as The Fly Boys, and he is just starting to explain their indie successes when Tyler gives in and says he's telling Bowen to make it a three-way again - Dudez vs Sober Cops vs "The Fly Boys - Johnny Florence and Danny Kaye", yet another malapropism from the out-of-touch Uprising GM.

Swoop McCarthy vs P-Hunt (w/Enforcer Allen and Eric Eisen) (59/C-)

[King of Supreme Round of 16 Qualifier]

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/56991e0b-fbca-41ca-918c-a0e0dabe2ae6_zpsc24fc6a5.jpg vs http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/576d8791-9876-4b69-9c43-58b9dbbc3599_zps1452dc8d.jpg

In an extremely short match,
P-Hunt defeated Swoop McCarthy
in 4:10 by pinfall with a High Society. P-Hunt moves on to the King of Supreme Quarterfinals (Round of 8). (P-Hunt and Swoop had great chemistry as opponents in this match where the new-attitude P-Hunt relied heavily on Eric Eisen and Enforcer Allen's interference to put away the larger, younger Aussie.)

Fry
- Yeah, yeah, color me impressed with the former Blue Blood, Paul Huntingdon. He doesn't have a prayer against Kurt Laramee next week.

Curran
- Lemme guess, Duane. Counting your chickens before they hatch?

Fry
- It was all a matter of tossing a coin - Scott or Kurt? Kurt or Scott? But it doesn't matter which Pain Alliance member is representin' my guys at the King of Supreme tournament. They're guaran-damn-teed to WIN the tournament and bring prestige to what was a pretty crappy designation way back in the day. King Smack Scott? Sounds good, but Scott was heads and I flipped tails. King Laramee? That's what I call a sure thing.

Jimmy Prudence vs Roger Cage (56/C-)

[King of Supreme Round of 16 Qualifier

http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/2e06d5e1-13c3-4eeb-9e7d-ac5f25b91a01_zps7c3974ce.jpg vs http://i1345.photobucket.com/albums/p661/3rdStringPG/SWF%202014/SWF%20Roster%20Small/52500455-709e-4167-93bb-808c76a8f31a_zps2876a50a.jpg

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat,
Jimmy Prudence defeated Roger Cage
in 9:37 when Roger Cage was disqualified when Frederique A. Garcia ran in and attacked Jimmy Prudence. Prudence moves on to the King of Supreme Quarterfinals (Round of 8).

(FACE TURN) Prudence and Frederique End Friendship (56/C-)

Jimmy Prudence has won the match, but he's furious at Freddy Garcia, who had ran in to attack Prudence. Garcia says that it's because he "blatantly cheated" on him by teaming with Donnie J and disbanding The Platinum Blondes behind his back...

Prudence
- It's not me, Freddy...IT'S YOU! You're the one who started this nonsense by becomin' more attached to that punk kid Calum. Then the Partay Dudez, what with all your "two more weeks, one more week" BS about Calum's arrival. Then you attacked my longtime surfin' buddy Donnie. THEN you let your new protege Stevie cost Donnie a chance at movin' on to the next round of King of Supreme!

F. Garcia
- No regrets, Jamie Lee...no regrets at all, darling. The Partay Dudez are younger than you. They're better-looking than you. And most of all, they're more TALENTED than you, and with me and VJ Britney handling their careers...

Prudence
- Shut up, Freddy! And besides, you know that this was a sham in the first place! But I'm glad that it's over. All we did as a team was give your kind a bad name...if they really are your kind.

With Prudence having revealed that he was only pretending to be one of Freddy's "kind" as per his demands,
Jimmy Prudence's face turn was a complete success.

The Awesomeness (w/Dawn the Cheerleader) vs The New Darkness Warriors

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat,
The Awesomeness defeated The New Darkness Warriors
in 10:22 when Jefferson Stardust defeated John Darkness by pinfall with a Shock And Awe. (As neither team had any promo time earlier in the evening, we see inset promos from both The Awesomeness and The New Darkness Warriors prior to the match, with the NDW's lecturing The Awesomeness about the pitfalls of the sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll lifestyle. The match is quite an even one, but it ends with The Awesomeness Shock and Awe-ing John Darkness as they continue their winning streak.)

Fry
(as The Awesomeness has a bit of an air-guitar celebration in the ring)
- Aren't they afraid of retribution? Don't they have any fear of being forced to atone for their sins?

Earnest
- Let 'em have fun, Duane! They've got a winning streak going, and with Eric Tyler apparently upset about their hair and having pulled 'em out of the number one contender match for the tag titles, it's a good thing that they're not letting that get them down!

Curran
- What the hell's so wrong about long hair anyway?

Fry
- It's UNPROFESSIONAL. They say they need it because they're rock musicians? Then they better choose - rock 'n' roll or wrestling? These Jack Bruce proteges ain't anywhere near the talent of Jack Bruce, and even I am gonna have to admit to that!

Earnest
- Wow, that's a miracle...Duane Fry praising somebody who isn't named Remo Richardson, Big Smack Scott, or Kurt Laramee.

Fry
- Sometimes, you gotta call a spade a spade - but going back to The Awesomeness, they better enjoy that moment while it lasts. And who knows - it might just last a second, when the lights go out and...

Earnest
- ...and we're done for the evening. For Duane Fry and Sammy Curran, this has been Marvin Earnest. We shall be seeing you next Thursday for more Uprising action, only here on C.A.N.N. late nights!

THE SUPREME POSTMORTEM - POST-SHOW OOC, MAY WEEK 3 2014

PREDICTION GAME SCORES - MAY 2014

MONTHLY PRIZE - Pick the next shoot interview subject for Pro Wrestling Hits

Requirements - Predict at least 6 of 9 shows for the month of May to qualify

Psycho Sam, 36/44, 82% (+3/6, 5/6)

kieranforthewin - 34/44, 77% (+4/6, 3/6, +1)

White Dolphin - 32/44, 73% (+4/6, 5/6)

hydrogen001 - 31/44, 70% (+3/6, 2/6, +1)

KnowYourEnemy - 29/44, 66% (+3/6, 4/6)

Midnightnick - 27/44, 61% (+3/6, 3/6, +1)

Bigjondalegend - 16/21, 77%

Psycho Sam is still in the lead, but this isn't over until it's over? The others have another week's worth of shows to catch up, so we shall see in about a week (real time) if 3rdString-Verse veteran Psycho Sam could win his first prediction game ever. :D

Predictors were light on the comments, so I'll focus on some show observations and insight on future plans...

Finally edited the post-Supreme TV backstage segment, and as you'll see there, I'm giving Brandon James a three-month vacation. In backstage storyline, that's because he's starring in SWF Studios' The Marine-knockoff, The S.E.A.L. Unfortunately, I had nothing creatively for Boo-Randon as of the moment. Yes, he's made great progress in terms of overness as a face (now up to B+), but his friendship with Joey Minnesota was merely a placeholder, if you come to think of it, as J-Minny will soon be allying with his fellow Hollyweird Rejects, Aaron Andrews, Drew Hawkins, and Koshiro Ino. Unlike the faction they're based on (The Radicalz), the Hollyweird Rejects have debuted as faces, and remained faces on their debut show - no heel swerve towards the end of the show, like the real Radicalz.

I'd like to think I handled The Platinum Blondes' breakup better than the WWE handled Billy and Chuck. :p Jamie Lee Prudence is now billed as Jimmy, and he'll be teaming with Donnie J in the reunited Fly Boys. As for Freddy Garcia, I'm transitioning him to a more occasional wrestling role. He's not yet on time decline, but he's 39, I've never been that impressed with him as a wrestler. Still, his Entertainment skills are more than decent, and he shall be working as the 24/7 Partay Dudez's Svengali-esque producer, under the name "F.A. Flexx", a name inspired by Simpsons character "L.T. Smash," the guy behind Bart Simpson's short-lived boy band the "Party Posse." And yes, he should do a lot of gatekeeping for the younger guys.

Speaking of gatekeepers, I'm torn about what to do with Sober Police. Squeeky McClean is a great wrestler and good entertainment guy, but he is third on the Time Decline list at 39. Jackson Marlowe, on the other hand, is great in brawling, but no spring chicken either. Still, I like their gimmick enough to keep them around for a while...not sure if I want them keeping gate at this point in time, though.

Swoop McCarthy vs Paul Huntingdon

[King of Supreme Round of 16 Qualifier]

Comment: plz

And your wish is my command! Huntingdon's got his push, and he is now, officially, the Triple H-equivalent on Eric Eisen's upcoming DX-inspired stable. Guess that makes Eisen the Shawn Michaels-equivalent, even if his wrestling skills are just average. Enforcer Allen, quite obviously, is the Chyna-equivalent. Johnny Laurer, anyone? :p

Great PPV man! Had some surprising moments out there! :D

Thanks as always! :D Hope those last two shows didn't include too many, though. Week 3 was kinda low-scoring...

Oh f*** it's the Klubb. RUN!!!

Interesting to see something that was planned in the KP era. I'm looking forward to this. :)

Yes, this is pretty much my attempt to create my own DX. So with that in mind, the Klubb storyline faction (not the real-life one) should act a bit more tweener-ish, though they'll still be billed as heels for the meantime.

OOC - Thinking of simplifying things by removing the "Last week on Supreme TV" recaps indefinitely. With my current schedule, it's become too time-consuming to work on them, but as far as the actual shows and backstage segments go, I don't think I'm in any risk of requiring a hiatus...yet.

That said, here are the cards for the final week of May 2014! :D

Bonus Question - Which of these rookies will be mentored by Big Smack Scott in the second season of High Stakes?

A) Andy Erlandsson (Anders Thunder)

B) Carl Ashley (Ash Campbell)

C) Henry Hill (Hell's Bouncer)

D) Kasey Kristopher (KC Glenn)

E) Rudy Velasquez

F) Surfer Nando (Soda de la Uva Jr.)

I'd be really disappointed if Scotty doesn't mentor Thunder, the guy's got potential to be a member of the pain alliance. Haha.

IMPORTANT UPDATE OOC:

So it's been over a week since I posted the last shows, and there haven't been any backstage segments or news bits either, but yes, this diary is still pushing forward, though probably at a slower pace.

Things have been quite eventful for me these past few days. First, one of my bands is now getting some regular gigs, and the other one has been progressing a bit faster than I expected. Secondly, I found out on Monday morning that one of my top clients was wishing me the best in my future endeavors...not my fault, but still. That's a lot of money I was making through him, and I'm sort-of between jobs right now. Thirdly, Manila and its nearby provinces just got battered by a major typhoon and it's only now that we've got electricity again.

TL;DR - a mix of good and bad shit's been happening and the shows have been delayed. With that said, my apologies if I've kept some of you waiting, and going forward, the pace of this diary may slow down a bit until things normalize once again. Predictions are still welcome, though I can't really say when the next shows will be up. Probably right on time for the weekend?

ANOTHER IMPORTANT OOC - I SHALL RETURN!

We're closing in on two weeks since the last update, and it's still more of the same for me. Shopping for new clients, rehearsing for/playing in gigs, working on a new project that could be a more sustainable form of income for me in the near future. And inasmuch as I still enjoy writing shows and playing TEW, inasmuch as I haven't been sapped of ideas for the coming shows/segments, there simply isn't enough free time at the moment.

That said, I've made the tough decision...to go on hiatus. Not sure how long this would take, and not sure either if we'll be shifting to James Casey-esque update schedules instead of an actual hiatus, but I thank everyone who's stuck around and followed this diary, and I promise, just like Douglas MacArthur did in World War II, that I shall return.

  • 2 weeks later...

OOC - I'm back! :D Dunno if I'm better than ever, though. Still dealing with an uncertain situation at work and the band's gotten more gigs for August, but I can't stay away from TEW for long. Hoping to have Supreme TV up within the next 2-3 days!

You may have noticed the next Supreme TV is in Rose Garden in Oklahoma, as shown on the mod I am using for the arenas. MY BAD! As it turns out, that arena is in Oregon (should have caught on to the fact that the Trail Blazers play their home games in the Rose Garden), so Supreme TV will actually be held in the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

The name "Stan Rogers" comes courtesy of the worker name generator. And it ties in with his friendship with the Eisen boys - rock fans may know that Paul Stanley of KISS was born Stanley Eisen.

Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City

6:10 p.m.

Well, there was no Brandon James in California when we shot some scenes for Under My Thumb. Jay Chord was my best drinking buddy after the shoots and he was stoked to be hanging out with both Nicky Champion and Emma Chase. As for me and Emma, we flew to my North Carolina hometown on Saturday, introduced my family to my new girlfriend (they didn't seem to warm up to her), were spotted by Cageside Report as we watched the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte the day after, and since I was booked to cut a promo on the next Supreme TV, the two of us had to catch a flight to Oklahoma City, as I reunited with the boys.

Christian Faith's run as head booker had just begun and so far, I hadn't seen any unfamiliar faces. That ended, however, when I saw a nerdy-looking guy in his mid-30s extend his hand to me.

"Nicky Champion? Pleased to meet you. I'm Stan. Stan Rogers. I'm the SWF's new head writer. Man, you were the only guy I rooted for in USPW!"

"Even if Sam Strong buried me and made me job to Giant Redwood?"

"F--- Giant Redwood!", yelled my new acquaintance Stanley, who looked like the kind of guy the jocks would pick on in high school. "We all know that Strong wanted you to look bad while you were on your way out. I'm here to make sure you look like a million dollars, Supreme TV in and Supreme TV out! How's your concussion?"

"Well, I'm feeling much better now, but I probably won't be wrestling till mid-June..."

"Fantastic, Nicky. Here's the script I wrote for this week's Supreme TV. You'll be appearing towards the end of the show and cutting a promo against Vengeance, and I've seen to it that you'll be talking in the third person and showing big, bad Vengeance that North Cawlinah swag and telling him that you are MORE!!!! THAN JUST!!!! A NAME!!!!"

"Uh...thanks, Stan." I didn't know where the heck the SWF got him from, but the guy seemed a bit weird. Then again, I had to wonder who had gotten him the job. Christian said he'd try to bring somebody over from North Carolina, but having grown up there, he sure didn't sound like someone from my state and Christian's. If anything else, he sounded more New Yorker than anything else...

7:00 p.m.

"No way, man. I am not diggin' this script. Looks more like an Eric Eisen script to me!" #Edd was looking at the script he was given, and he was not happy. Big Smack Scott didn't like it either, and he was wondering why he didn't have any mic time. Then again, the Smacker always wanted to be front row center in every Supreme TV taping.

Soon enough, I heard a nasal, whiney-sounding voice with a thick New York accent, arguing with a laid-back drawl that I recognized as Christian Faith's.

"You're Eric and Jerry's childhood friend, but you've gotta remember. I'm the head booker. I'm going to have to make some edits here, and next time you come up with a script, email it to me no later than Monday. Let me review it first."

"Your friend Richard told me I can write anything I want, being that I'm now the head writer. And now you're telling me that you have veto power over what I come up with?"

"You've got #Edd turning into a nutcase. We already have Marc DuBois. Every match, and I mean every match, including the openers, is booked with outside interference. That's overkill. And Eric's extended promo in the middle of the show? No, Stan, that's not gonna give me enough time to speak, nor is it going to give Angry Gilmore mic time either. Good thing me and Tom know how to improvise well enough."

"Geez, Christian, I'm really sorry..."

"You're head writer, but I'm the head booker. You report to me. Any and all ideas have to go through me first, just like Peter's daughter and son-in-law had to tell him about their ideas before they left the company. I understand you've been tight with Eric and Jerry since you were little boys, but I've been good friends with Rick long enough to say that his son's ideas aren't all that they're cracked up to be. Be a team player, Stan, and resist the urge to go into business for yourself and your friends."

"Yes, Christian."

So that was Richard Eisen's consolation prize for his sons, who were apparently upset over not being named as head booker(s).
