In August of 2014 some shocking news came in the wrestling world! This news just wasn't reported on wrestling

website, but also on some major TV outlets in the US and around the world!

On August 1, 2014 a surprise news

conference was announce on ROH twitter and home page that had Sinclair Broadcast Group David D. Smith had a big announcement to the world that ROH has a new owner and that Sinclair Broadcast Group was no longer paying talent monthly but paying the how much is left on their contracts and that Ring Of Honor wrestling talent are welcome to leave at any time.

The first thing that pop into everyone mind is why should we care and why is this on news as the wrestling hasn't been in a boom period in years. Well that all change when the new owner was

announce and wrestling for 2014 change! Sinclair Broadcast Group David D. Smith step up to the mic....

David D. Smith: Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen! Today we at Sinclair Broadcast can announce that we are no longer the owners of Ring Of Honor wrestling. I can tell you it been a wonderful 3 year ride and we thank every talent that has wrestle for ROH, as well as the staff who do a great job.

It is at this time I would like to introduce the new owner of Ring Of Honor Wrestling,http://rs1136.pbsrc.com/albums/n493/MrPXW11556/shane_mcmahon.jpg~320x480 Mr. Shane McMahon!

To the shock of everyone at the announcement Shane McMahon comes out for the curtain and shake the hand of Mr. Smith.

http://rs1136.pbsrc.com/albums/n493/MrPXW11556/shane_mcmahon.jpg~320x480 Shane McMahon: "Thank you David Smith and you all for coming out. I know their are a lot of question but I will be breaking down everything within a couple of days and weeks ahead. I can tell you this, their are fun times ahead for Ring Of Honor. So thank you very much and hope to see you guys next news conference about the future of ROH thank you"!

And just like that Shane McMahon and David D. Smith exit the stage! Back at one of studio one of the anchors ask what everyone was thinking, "what the heck was that"! ESPN gets Jonathan Coachman on the phone and ask him if this means the WWE now has another one for the archives. To which Coachman says he "doesn't know but it look that way".

When RAW is about to start their is a buzz of if it will be everyone knew that Shane McMahon has the rights to Ring Of Honor Wrestling and they believe the WWE now have ROH archives. At the top of the hour their is no talk about Shane McMahon getting ROH. Ok the WWE could be waiting into the next hour. Nope still no talk of this move. What is going? Finally the last hour has started and Vince McMahon is in the ring. However he doesn't look himself and just as Vince is about to talk he starts to cry and Stephanie and Triple H walk out to get him out ring.

Logic hits the fans on the internet and almost everyone in the arena that this is all apart of a storyline. Ring of Honor wrestler's will invade after Summerslam or at Summerslam. Well sadly this was not the case as Shane McMahon let people know that August 7 on ROH wrestling.com.

"I want to let the fans of ROH know that I am the new Ring of Honor and the news conference on Friday was legit! Sadly "some people" are not happy for me being the new owner of a wrestling company. They will have to get over that and move on as I am not trying to put people out of business. I would like to extend an olive branch to the WWE and my family and hope one day we can work together. At this time I would like to talk to the wrestler's of Ring Of Honor Wrestling! Some of you I have talk to about joining me and others I have contracted know I want you in Ring of Honor. One guy that has signed up with Ring Of Honor is the one and only Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Champion..... "The Panama City Playboy" Adam Cole!

I will have more announcement to come this just the beginning for ROH fans. I would like to also point out before moving on that all ROH show is go on as most of the talent have signed up to do more shows into Final Battle! That will be the start of a new chapter in ROH. Thank you for your time ROH fans and more news to come." Sincerely, Shane McMahon.

This shocking revelation by Shane told a story that others did not think it would. It's good news for ROH fans because Ring of Honor is still open. Shane McMahon is really the new ROH owner!

As days went by we got news that Ring of Honor was rumoured to sign this guy or resign that guy but nothing announce as of yet.

On August 15, just two days before WWE Summerslam Shane McMahon took to twitter and drop big news on the wrestling world! The first wasn't that shocking but still great news that fans of ROH can love. That news being that Ring Of Honor and NJPW are still partners and will continue to be going forward.

The second was something that most ROH fans never thought they would see again, as Shane McMahon announce that Gabe Sapolsky will coming back to ROH! As most old school Ring Of Honor fans know Gabe Sapolsky was a big part of what made ROH so big from 2002- 2007 even being named Best Booker for four years straight by Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards! Sapolsky had a falling out with Cary Silkin and with Silkin gone from ROH, he can now come back. No word of who will take over for Gabe Sapolsky in Dragon Gate USA as of yet.

The third and final announcement will have the wrestling world thinking for days and months just who it could be. Shane Mcmahon last tweet was about a new wrestler signing that is an alumni of ROH and is out to prove that he still got "IT" starting at Final Battle! Could it be who people that it is? Is the BITW making a comeback in his old stomping ground? Or is another alumni who's contract is up in the summer and hasn't been seen in weeks on TNA Impact? We will have to find out at Final Battle 2014!

In a shocking debut Kevin Steen who last wrestle in Ring Of Honor in June attack Daniel Bryan during his match against Batista costing Bryan the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Summerslam. Steen debut in the WWE under his new name as Marshall Lévesque! Marshall Lévesque aka Kevin Steen is apparently the long lost brother of Triple H aka Paul Levesque.

Another WWE signing is Roderick Strong. Strong will go by the name Aaron Epstein and will report to NXT.

September 1, 2014 at 12:00 p.m the ROH wrestling website got an update and new wrestler signing were announce. ROH announce the signing of....

ACH, Cedric Alexander, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly the tag team know as reDRagon, Homicide, Eddie Kingston, Jay Lethal, Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson also so know as the Young Bucks, Michael Elgin, Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Hero!

This news came to no one surprise and to top it all off they can still wrestle in PWG and other companies around the world. For the time being that is! No word about AJ Styles but it is being said that with AJ Styles (who is signed to ROH into the end of September) new NJPW contract he's has to think about if he should join back up with ROH at the end of his contract.

Later that same day ROH wrestling website announce that Shimmer and ROH are still working with each other and that the first ever ROH Women's title will be made in. It is said that Cheerleader Melissa has already sign on as well as LuFisto. These have been in a feud in Shimmer for almost for a year and the news of them coming to ROH could mean that feud could crossover.

On September 4 it was announce on Jay and Mark Briscoe twitter that they will leave ROH and will become free agents. They thank ROH fans and everybody in ROH from past and current locker room. Last show for The "Dem Boys" in Ring Of Honor is Glory By Honor on September 20. Get you tickets now.

More ROH signing, Women wrestler's: Amazing Kong, Serena Deeb, Mercedes Martinez and Kana

Men wrestler's: Jimmy Jacobs, Matt Taven, Michael Bennett, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, and Forever Hooligans.

"You can always comeback on home"! That was a tweet send out Alex Shelley just hours before it was announce on ROH.Com that he signed on with Ring Of Honor. The next tweet he put out was "I will not be coming alone". What could Alex Shelley mean by? Is Yujiro Kushida coming with him or is someone else?

http://www.islamicinvitationturkey.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/breaking.gif coming from Glory By Honor Glory by Honor XIII as "UnBreakable" Michael Elgin became the new Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Champion beating Adam Cole at the 39:05 minute mark! This has been long over do with Michael Elgin as some have been calling him wining the ROH World Title since early 2013. In other GBH news the The Briscoes wrestler what could be their last ROH match against the team of London and Kendrick in a losing effort. After the match the two teams shook hands and Jay and Mark made a emotional speech about the love they have for ROH. As Jay Briscoe put it "We been here since the beginning! I love this company but i think everybody knows in it's time to move on!". Who know if The Briscoes will be back but as they always say you can never say never.

More big breaking coming from Gabe Sapolsky and Shane McMahon announce four men and one woman as the new ROH signing.

Candice LeRae, Rich Swann & Ricochet also know as The Inner City Machine Guns. The Open the Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano. And also making his ROH debut into Ring Of Honor Carly Colón!

In a surprise interview with http://oi39.tinypic.com/1zf60py.jpg Homicide he put out a open challenge via video to any tag team for a match at Final Battle! The big surprise at the end was it wasn't him and Eddie Kingston but Shawn Hernandez aka Hernandez who will be Homicide partner. Does this mean Hernandez has sign with ROH or is this just a one time thing?

During an interview with http://representingpuroresu.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/sapolsky.jpg?w=901 Gabe Sapolsky, he was ask a strange but interesting question by the interviewer. " I am sorry to ask this but that clock on the upper left side of the ROH website. What is that about Mr. Sapolsky? Gabe Sapolsky only smile and said, "You and wrestling world will know soon enough"!

On October 31 CM Punk broke his silence about why he left the WWE! In a interview with with a morning radio show, CM Punk told the morning show hosts that for the last two years he hated wrestling for the World Wrestling Entertainment! 'Look I was told i would get a chance to be the man, but that never came. The WWE marks hate me because I don't look like what they think is a "star". The WWE blame me for the rating yet i wasn't the main event for the most part when world champion. I just find that funny after all this time but whatever. You live and learn and it is what it is. I can tell you right now that I am happy to be a free agent and out of the "wildness" that is the that company"

A lot of people will say those comment are from a bitter former employee but you got to remember CM Punk left a lot of money on the table to leave before WrestleMania 30. That say a lot. When one of the hosts ask if CM Punk could be joining Ring Of Honor, CM Punk said "I love ROH! I had some of my best years there. Having said that I also remember who is the new owner of ROH is and that last name still sucks to me. But you never know, Shane has always been a cool dude and I have never had a problem with him".

November 1 Shane McMahon announce that Survival of the Fittest will return in 2015! Some of the biggest names in Ring of Honor and from around the wrestling world have wrestle in this match. Some big names have even won SOTF. Who will be next?

Three days later Gabe Sapolsky let ROH fan know that two big names in the wrestling world are coming to Ring Of Honor next month. Adding to that is more big news that the co-main event for Final Battle 2014 is Tommaso Ciampa vs. Michael Elgin in a title vs title match-up, Tommaso Ciampa won a #1 contenders match against Adam Cole at ROH Defy Or Deny II last month. Michael Elgin still has one more title defence against Kyle O'Reilly on November 15 show called Chain Reaction! Final Battle PPV take place at the Barclays Center.

The new ROH announce team with announce and it was a good one. For years these two have been apart of the WWE and now are the new play by play for Ring of Honor. Shane McMahon introduce http://www.pwmania.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/mick-foley2.jpg Mick Foley as the new colour commentator. The new voice of ROH was by far the biggest surprise as Shane McMahon introduce of all people http://www.ringsidenews.com/file/pic/article/2014/03/92803f1aa31870e6810c75e003a49c75_400.jpg Jim Ross as the new announcer for ROH! This comes as a big surprise because no one thought Jim Ross would work for anyone other then WWE again. They will begin announcing at Final Battle. The question left is what will happen with Steve Corino and Kevin Kelly?

On November 18 Shane McMahon announce a big signing that almost everybody has been waiting for as the man who held ROH World Championship for a record 21 months is back home. "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe is back in Ring Of Honor and has one thing on his mind, and that is "Michael Elgin"! Right now a match against Michael Elgin is not possible, but maybe down the road.

Shane McMahon did stop as he drop a shocker on ROH wrestling fans when he announce the self-proclaimed "The Best In The World At What He Does" is coming to ROH and will wrestle at Final Battle. Chris Jericho has done it all in this business internationally so this is a big signing for Ring Of Honor. The only question now is who will Mr. Jericho go one on one against?

Well that question was answered the next day as Shane McMahon announce five matches for the Final Battle card and one of them is the start of the ROH women's title tournament.

Serena Deeb vs. Cheerleader Melissa

Inner City Machineguns vs reDRagon

Carly Colón vs. ACH vs Adam Cole vs. AJ Styles

Samoa Joe vs. Chris Jericho

Tommaso Ciampa vs. Michael Elgin

Two thing that pop out, the first being the return of AJ Styles and the four way match-up against the debuting Carly Colón, High Flyer ACH and the former ROH World champion Adam Cole in a #1 contenders match. The second is Samoa Joe vs Chris Jericho for the first time ever. Chris Jericho requested Samoa Joe.

http://rs1313.pbsrc.com/albums/t548/Smasher1311/Chris_Jericho_zps8c6748e8.jpg~320x480 In a interview with ROH.com Jericho tells Kevin Kelly, " I remember watching Punk vs. Joe and Joe vs. Kobashi and I remember saying to myself WOW this Samoa Joe guy is great! He's a big guy but agile and quick and bring it most of the time in the ring. Having said that I got this feeling that he's got a lot untapped potential at his age and that's not good. Weather it's him or the company he once work at, i don't know but Samoa Joe has been falling off since 2007. But at the same time no one can be the "The Best In The World At What He Does" like myself. If he was then Joe would be all-time great like me".

Needless to say A lot of people will be talking about what Chris Jericho said at the end more then about the beginning!

On December 1 Kurt Angle return to the WWE! This had been said to be in the works for months and the only thing stand in the way of him joining WWE is Jeff Jarrett new start-up company World Wrestling Association.

Also on that day ROH.com reported on the website that the roster was complete and so is the card for Final Battle. More details to come soon. The Final Battle 2014 will take place at the Barclays Center and is almost sold out as of right now.

"I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!"</p><p> </p><p>

Howard Beale played by Peter Finch once said that iconic line in Network the movie, but in 2014 one could say those are the words of one Jimmy Jacobs who can't believe how much he and BJ Whitmer get over look. </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://rs1099.pbsrc.com/albums/g386/merryjayson/Prime%20PWO/JimmyJacobs_zpsd7cc4c18.jpg~320x480</span> Jimmy Jacobs: "This is MADNESS! We got a 40 something year old man (Chris Jericho) who gets to main event at Final Battle just because of his name and on top that he's fighting a overweight, out of shape Samoa Joe, who last time i remember was so happy to leave this place years ago. Well I for one have had enough of this. Me and BJ will not be wrestling at the show, but I will tell you this. We will make a mark at final Battle and believe when i tell you this, at the end of the night all everyone will be talking about is The Decade"! Strong words from the ROH veteran. </p><p> </p><p>

It sound like some kind of statement will be made by The Decade.</p>
