I think it´s between Frank, Powell and Cahill here and since I have no idea if Powell will be face or heel, I play safe and go with Cahill who I believe is slightly more popular than Frank and thus him winning would hurt other guys less than if Frank takes the win. Also, while I would normally say that Regional title would be below Cahill, with all the new names on the roster, giving him a midcard belt suddenly wouldn´t look so odd.</em></p><p> </p><p> NYCW King Of New York Title Match</p><p> <strong>Bulldozer Brandon Smith</strong> defends vs. Black Hat Bailey</p><p> Comments: <em>I could see Bailey taking this one, in case that you are looking new challenger for Cage but I still think that picking Smith is the safer and more likely option.</em></p><p> </p><p> NYCW Empire Title Match</p><p> First Blood Match</p><p> <strong>Roger Cage</strong> defends vs. Steve Flash</p><p> Comments: <em>It looks like you signed a lots of big name talent (assuming most of the new names are here full time and not one shot deals) so I figure you must have better options as next champ than aging Flash.</em></p><p> </p><p> Elimination Match, No DQ, No Countout</p><p> Winner Faces Roger Cage/Steve Flash Next Month For NYCW Empire Title</p><p> <strong>KC Glenn</strong> vs. Steven Parker vs. Puerto Rican Power vs. Jack Bruce</p><p> Comments: <em>Normally I would go with Bruce without thinking twice but he's user character so he won´t whine on losses which makes it bit harder to figure out how he's matches play out.... I actually go with Glenn here, not sure what he´s popularity is at the moment but he´s certainly receiving a strong push and I figure he does have a shot on winning this one even if he´s low starting popularity would usually make him the least likely option (from these four) on my eyes.</em></p></div></blockquote>

It has been quite awhile since I have updated things in this diary and there is a reason for that. I am officially making the announcement that I am bringing this diary to a close. I know that some of the readers of this diary will cringe and others will nod knowingly. All that I can do is take this time to explain myself as to why the diary is coming to a close within around a month of the diary opening.

 

My Reasons.

I opened this diary with big ideas and the thought that I could push a diary forward to the next years ahead and see what goes on in the future of the Cornellverse. With only one show per month, the months would move ahead quicker than with the old four television shows and a pay-per-view. The only problem is that I do not know how to book a one show a month company. I have a lot of difficulty in not setting things up within a television show, using videos and backstage segments. I feel like I need the television and pay-per-view to tell the stories that I am really wanting to tell. I would not feel right in putting things like backstage segments and hype videos into a company that does not have television to show these. So I would like to offer an apology to those who have been waiting patiently for a new show to be posted.

 

Where Do I Go From Here?

That is the real question, right? Of course, I still have my real world diary that is going with jhd1 in a multiplayer setting. That diary can be located here. We are in a short hiatus as real-life situations have stepped in but we should be back up and running very soon. However, I do enjoy having diaries I can run at my own pace and I do enjoy having a Cornellverse diary as well. I have not made any permanent decisions on what I am going to do as far as single-player diaries/Cornellverse diaries go. However, I did make the permanent decision to bring this diary to a close. Thank you to everyone who has been reading and predicting on this diary.
