Here at Promotion Wars, we have received some inside information that New York City Wrestling has released both Whitehorse Whittaker and Howlin Mad Mort. Both of these wrestlers were hirings by Larry Vessey in January of 2012. They were packaged together as a tag team known as The Boys From The Yukon. As far as the reason why these two men were fired, we are being told that Jack Bruce decided he needed to cut down on the money spent on talent. We have heard rumors that more cuts may be coming in the coming months. Stay tuned here at Promotion Wars for more breaking news.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

NYCW Maximum Showdown!

Saturday Week 2 March 2014

Location: The Ministry (Tri-State)

Attendance: 1,000

Overall Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/JackBruce_Ice5.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/MarvStatler-2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/DeanWaldorf-2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/FernHathaway.jpg

[The sold-out crowd here at The Ministry in Queens New York rise on their feet as the music plays for the NYCW owner. But he is not alone as Jack Bruce walks toward the ring. He is accompanied by the NYCW World Tag Team Champions The Ring Generals and their manager Fern Hathaway. The four of them enter the ring and pose for the crowd before Bruce is given a microphone. He welcomes everyone to NYCW Maximum Showdown. He congratulates Bulldozer Brandon Smith, stating that because of his win last month at King Of New York, he has a NYCW Empire title shot any time he wants. With that being said, he turns his attention to the group known as America's Most Wanted. He says that tonight there is going to be a six man tag team contest. He has his partners right here, two men who deserve to be the NYCW World Tag Team Champions. He says that these are two men he would trust to watch his back in a match tonight or any other night. He says that these two men are truly ring generals.]

[Jack Bruce gets interrupted by the arrival of the group that he spoke about. America's Most Wanted are up in the crowd with microphones in hand. KC Glenn says that his ear was burning a little bit so he thought he'd come out here and see what the 'boss' has to say about him and his friends. He says that individually they have taken out each of them the last few months. They have even taken out the Empire Champion. Last month was simply an aberration when he lost to that punk Bulldozer. But this month that is not going to happen. This month he is going to prove that united, America's Most Wanted is the toughest team in the history of professional wrestling. Believe that. Glenn motions and the three of them walk off as Jack Bruce says that they will find out tonight!]

COTT Sponsored Match

Greg Black vs. Puerto Rican Power

[Neither of these two wrestlers are contracted by NYCW so this match can definitely go either way. Greg Black comes out wearing a 'SWF' t-shirt, drawing the boos and ire from the crowd. The match is definitely fast-paced, keeping the crowd on their toes the entire time. At one point during the match, Power is sent outside the ring and Black runs along the apron, using the ropes as a springboard to hit a cannonball splash on Power, knocking him to the mat. Black turns and yells at a fan whose sign reads: 'Don't Bet On Black!' The action returns to the ring where Power gains some control, grabbing Black and running him back-first into a turnbuckle. Power catches Black with a gutwrench suplex and then points to a fan at ringside with a sign that reads: '100% Boricua!' The end of the action comes as both men are brawling in the ring. Power body slams Black and then goes for a clothesline but Black ducks and catches Power with the Fade To Black Superkick! The kick was snapped off perfectly and Black makes a cover: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Greg Black (Via Pinfall @ 7:42)

Match Rating: C

COTT Sponsored Match

Old School Principals vs. Flash Sparrow

[Our second Confederation of the Territories sponsored match features Old School Principals against the Coastal Zone Tag Team Champions Matt Sparrow and The American Flash, Flash Sparrow. Flash Sparrow use a high octane offense to really kick things off in this match but that is also what stops them from keeping that momentum when Flash goes for a top rope cross body and misses. Old School Principals slow the match down, keeping Flash in their corner and using double-teams. They bring Sparrow in by taunting him and then go back to double-teaming Flash in their corner behind the referee's back. The Masked Mauler pulls Flash from the corner and sends him to the ropes -- Flash does a cartwheel and then springboards off the middle rope, taking down The Masked Mauler with a flying forearm shot. Both men make quick tags and in comes Matt Sparrow! 'Caws' are called by the fans as Sparrow takes the match over. A fan raises a sign reading: 'Surfin' Bird!' All four men are in the ring doing battle. The referee steps in, trying to keep both The Masked Mauler and The American Flash out of the ring. Rick Sanders rakes the eyes of Sparrow and then goes into his trunk, producing a silver chain! The referee is busy pushing The American Flash out of the ring. Sanders wraps the chain around his fist and goes for a punch on Sparrow but Sparrow ducks and lifts Sanders for an atomic drop but Sanders gets the punch on Sparrow, tossing the chain out of the ring and making the cover: One, Two, Three! Old School Principals cheat to take the win!]

Winners: Old School Principals (Via Pinfall @ 6:09)

Match Rating: D+

[We go back to the announce booth/interview area where Ernie Turner announces the interview of Honest Frank. Turner says that tonight is a big match in the career of Frank because if he can beat Steve Flash tonight then he will face Roger Cage next month for the NYCW Empire Title. Frank says that, honestly, Steve Flash probably shouldn't be wrestling tonight. Honestly, the doctors probably haven't cleared Flash to wrestle after that nasty little leg injury that he suffered. But, honestly, Frank says he doesn't care. He will face Steve Flash because only an Honest man should be NYCW Empire Champion and who is more honest than Honest Frank? Frank shakes hands with Turner and then walks off as we head back to the ring.]

Match #3

Tables Match

Andrew Harper vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith

[A big match this evening as these two rivals step foot in a tables match. The only way to win this match is to drive your opponent through a table. As anyone would expect, this match was a brawl from start to finish with a lot of punches and kicks. Harper catches Smith with a boot to the head early on in the match and is the first one to grab a table from ringside, bringing it into the ring. A fan raises up a sign reading: 'Harper, Get The Tables!' Harper sets up the table in the center of the ring and then pulls the Bulldozer up, placing his head between his legs! The crowd boos, trying to get Smith to fight back. Harper lifts Smith for a Power Bomb but Smith lands on his feet! Smith fires a few forearm shots and then drops Harper with a short-arm clothesline. Smith walks over to the table and sets it over in a corner. He turns back to Harper and side-steps a spear attempt, pushing Harper down to the mat. The Bulldozer picks up Harper and lifts him on his shoulder! Harper manages to squeeze out and land behind Smith. He catches Smith with a few forearm shots, shoving him into the table. Harper charges -- Smith moves -- Harper puts on the brakes, barely stopping before he meets the table. Harper turns back around -- spear by Smith through the table! What a win by the Bulldozer!]

Winner: Bulldozer Brandon Smith (Via Table Break @ 6:08)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/BlackHatBailey.jpg

[Bulldozer Brandon Smith picks up a win here tonight and he goes over to grab his NYCW King Of New York title belt -- but it's not in his corner where he left it?!? The Bulldozer looks confused and then turns and catches a belt shot to the head by Black Hat Bailey! The crowd is confused and boos loudly as the man in the black hat smiles. Bailey mounts Smith and begins to punch away at the King Of New York. Smith tries to cover up but Bailey is relentless! Bailey exits the ring and slides another table inside! Bailey enters the ring and looks around with an evil smile, twisting his moustache. Then he sets the table up and grabs the Bulldozer. He climbs the table with Smith and sets him up in a piledriver position -- piledriver through the table! The crowd boos even louder! Is Smith even still breathing? Black Hat Bailey leaves and heads to the back as officials come out and have to stretcher the Bulldozer out of the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/ErnieTurner.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/KCGlenn_alt2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/GregGauge_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/MatthewKeith_alt1.jpg

[We move to the announce booth/interview area as the Bulldozer is stretchered out. Ernie Turner introduces America's Most Wanted and the three men come out wearing 'Wanted' poster t-shirts with each of their pictures and names on the front and 'America's Most Wanted' written on the back. Turner asks them about the six man tag team match later on tonight. KC Glenn says that they applaud Black Hat Bailey and what he just did to that fluke Brandon Smith. Matthew Keith grabs the microphone and says that later on tonight they are going to prove that they deserve all the belts here in NYCW. No one has beaten Jack Bruce since his return to New York? That ends tonight because his brother and him have a Proton Lock just waiting for the NYCW Owner.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/DermotOLogical.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/SammyTheShark.jpg

Winner Moves On To NYCW Tri-State Regional Three-Way Dance Next Month

Dermot O'Logical vs. Sammy The Shark

[The winner of this next match moves on to fight for the NYCW Tri-State Regional title next month here at The Ministry. Both of these men know that they are fighting for something major tonight and are willing to pull out all the stops. Last month both of these men lost in the first round of the NYCW King Of New York tournament but you wouldn't be able to tell that with the back and forth action you see on hand tonight. Dermot seems a little bit distracted during this match, putting more lotion on his skin during the match when he has control. A fan raises a sign that reads: 'You Forgot The Cumcumber Slices!' Dermot picks up Sammy and clotheslines him down. Dermot puts Sammy in a double underhook situation, going for that Deep Clean but Sammy works his way free and slides behind Dermot. Sammy grabs Dermot around the waist -- German Suplex with a bridge: One, Two, Three! Sammy The Shark moves forward!]

Winner: Sammy The Shark (Via Pinfall @ 6:07)

Match Rating: D-

[Sammy The Shark is victorious tonight and will move on to challenge for the NYCW Tri-State Regional title next month. Sammy grabs his cards from his corner but gets assaulted from behind by Dermot O'Logical! The crowd boos the attack by Dermot and he hooks Sammy -- Deep Clean! The Double Underhook Backbreaker sends Sammy down to the mat. Dermot grabs the paper bag from his corner and walks over to Sammy, placing the paper bag over his head. Dermot celebrates with boos from the crowd before he exits the ring and heads to the back.]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/MontyTrescarde.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/Whistler.jpg

Winner Moves On To NYCW Tri-State Regional Three-Way Dance Next Month

Monty Trescarde vs. Whistler

[Our next contest is the second contest in the NYCW Tri-State Regional number one contenders contests. Monty Trescarde offers Whistler money to lay down for him but Whistler points to a sign in the crowd: 'Cash Doesn't Buy Victory!' Trescarde throws the money at Whistler and uses the distraction to punch and then kick Whistler in the gut. This match is very short between these two men as the action shows neither man gaining a solid advantage throughout the contest. Trescarde catches Whistler with a Samoan drop and gets a two count. Trescarde plays to a booing crowd for a moment before turning back to Whistler. Trescarde grabs Whistler -- Cash Bonus! The forward Russian Legsweep! Trescarde turns it into a cradle as well: One, Two, Three! Monty Trescarde moves forward!]

Winner: Monty Trescarde (Via Pinfall @ 5:32)

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/ErnieTurner.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/RogerCage.jpg

[We go back to the interview area where Ernie Turner is now with Roger 'Smooth' Cage and Cheerleader Nicki! Nicki holds up the cards with things such as 'Smooth,' and 'NYCW Rules' written on them. Turner asks Cage who he would rather face next month if he keeps his title: Honest Frank or Steve Flash? Cage says it doesn't matter who he faces because the Empire title is not coming from around his waist. He says that his focus is on tonight and Man Mountain Cahill. That is definitely someone you do not want to take lightly. That's someone that no one can say is light. But lord it's hard to be humble when you're this Smoooth.]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/HonestFrank.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/SteveFlash_jhd1_2.jpg

Winner Faces NYCW Empire Champion Next Month

Honest Frank vs. Steve Flash

[speaking of the contest between Honest Frank and Steve Flash, the match is right now! The beginning of the match has Flash showing that his knee is just fine now. One of the ways that he shows this is that he flies from inside the ring to outside on Honest Frank! He mounts Frank out there and begins punching him and slamming his head back against the floor. He is definitely showing a more brutal side than he has shown in a long time here in NYCW. Flash releases and grabs Frank, tossing him back inside the ring. A fan raises a sign in the background reading: 'Eye For An Eye, Knee For A Knee!' Flash seems to show that game plan as he goes after the right knee of Honest Frank, using moves like a kneebar and ramming that knee against the steel ring post! In the ring, Flash catches Frank with a couple of European Uppercuts knocking Frank into a corner. Flash moves in and takes hold of Frank -- Tornado DDT! Flash makes a cover: One, Two, Foot On The Ropes! Frank barely survives!]

[Fighting on seemingly one knee, Frank begins making a comeback by raking the eyes of Flash. He picks up Flash and drops him with a Double Arm DDT! The crowd boos, still solidly in the corner of Steve Flash. Frank looks down at Flash and then steps on his face, raking with his boot! Flash calls out in pain but Frank doesn't hold back. Frank bounces off the ropes -- Big Legdrop! Frank makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! Steve Flash still has something left in him! Frank picks up Flash and sends him to the ropes -- scoop powerslam! Frank looks around and says that it's over. He grabs Flash, setting him up for the Frank-N-Hurter! Will Honest Frank be moving forward? The crowd begins with 'Flash' chants and Flash struggles out of the grasp of Frank. He grabs Frank, instead, and quickly turns -- Flash Bang! The Hot Shot sends Frank to the mat and Flash makes the cover: One, Two, Three! Steve Flash is facing the NYCW Empire Champion next month!]

Winner: Steve Flash (Via Pinfall @ 11:24)

Match Rating: D-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/ErnieTurner.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/DharmaGregg.jpg

[We go one more time to the announce booth/interview area where Ernie Turner introduces a newcomer to NYCW in manager Dharma Gregg. Dharma thanks Turner for the time here to talk about Dharma Industries. She says that she is looking for some good talent here in New York City Wrestling that she can get behind. She congratulates Steve Flash on that victory and men like Bulldozer Brandon Smith, the King Of New York and Roger 'Smooth' Cage. She says that she will be continuing to scout but soon enough someone here is going to have the full power of Dharma Industries behind them and they will be going right to the top.]

Match #7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/NYCW_Empire.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/RogerCage.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/CheerleaderNicki.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWF_BR/VS.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/ManMountainCahill_ew.jpg

NYCW Empire Title Match

Roger Cage defends vs. Man Mountain Cahill

[The semi main event features the NYCW Empire title match as Roger Cage defends one more time against the large Man Mountain Cahill. The two men, who have met several times for this belt, meet in the center of the ring. Cahill sneers down at Cage but Cage responds by throwing right hands! The right hands rock the big man mountain and Cage bounces off the ropes to get a little more momentum but he gets stopped with a big time shoulderblock by the Man Mountain. Cahill bounces off the ropes and looks to drop a big elbow drop but Cage rolls out of the way. Cage strikes Cahill in the face with a dropkick and makes a cover: One, Large Kickout by Cahill, sending Cage flying halfway across the ring! Cahill pulls himself to his feet and takes control with a large clothesline. The next few minutes see Cahill in charge, beating down the NYCW Empire Champion. Cheerleader Nicki does here best to get Cage back into the match, cheering her man on. But Cahill does not plan to give up the momentum. He sends Cage into a turnbuckle and runs in with a reverse avalanche! The crowd boos as Cahill lifts Cage up and nails him with an overhead fall-away slam. Cahill makes the cover: One, Two, Kickout!]

[Cahill maintains the control but he is seemingly getting visibly tired with the more and more effort that he exerts to keep Cage down on the mat. Cahill sends Cage outside the ring and joins him out there. He grabs Cage by the arm and whips him toward the guardrail -- reversed! Cage reverses it and it's Cahill that hits the steel! The crowd bursts into cheers at this momentum switch. Cage climbs onto the apron and runs along the length of it, leaping at Cahill -- caught! Cahill catches Cage but Cage begins throwing punches! A fifth punch forces Cahill to release him and Cage sends Cahill into the ring post! He rolls Cahill in the ring and joins him inside, drawing cheers from the crowd. Cage climbs the turnbuckles and leaps, striking Man Mountain Cahill with a flying elbow drop off the top! Cage says he is not done. He lifts Cahill -- Cage Rage! He catches Cahill with the Diving Reverse DDT! He makes the cover, hooking the leg: One, Two, Three!]

Winner: Roger Cage (Via Pinfall @ 12:16)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/NYCW_14/SteveFlash_jhd1_2.jpg

[What an impressive victory by our NYCW Empire Champion Roger Cage! A sign goes up in the crowd reading: 'Mountain Fall Harder!' Cage is handed his NYCW Empire title belt but he is soon joined in the ring by the man who will challenge him for that belt next month Steve Flash! The man known as The Remarkable is clapping and looks impressed about the victory by Roger Cage. Flash offers a handshake to Roger Cage and the two men accept and embrace in the ring. Flash raises the arm of Roger Cage in the center of the ring and then turns to exit the ring. Steve Flash moves almost to the apron but stops and then comes back to Roger Cage. He points to Cage and then throws a fist, striking Cage in the forehead! He grabs Cage -- Flash Bang! Steve Flash hits Roger Cage with the Flash Bang from out of nowhere! More boos rise from the fans as Flash mounts Cage, punching him until he breaks him open! Blood pours down from Cage's forehead and Flash takes some of it, smearing along his forehead and cheeks. The crowd boos louder and louder as Steve Flash grabs the NYCW Empire title belt and raises it up as he stands over top of the fallen Roger Cage. He places the belt around Cage's waist and then exits the ring. Officials have to come out and help Roger Cage to the back.]

America's Most Wanted (KC Glenn, Matthew Keith and Greg Keith) vs. Jack Bruce and The Ring Generals

[Now it is time for the main event this evening as six men go to war with each other for supremacy. The beginning of the match features absolute pandemonium as all six men do battle in and outside the ring. The team of Jack Bruce and The Ring Generals grab some control, sending America's Most Wanted outside the ring. Bruce shows some high flying ability in his old age as he leaps over the top rope and lands on all three members of America's Most Wanted! Bruce stands up and poses beside a fan with a sign reading: 'I'm A Bruceliver!' Bruce heads back to the ring apron and the two men that start the match are Dean Waldorf and Greg Keith. Waldorf keeps Keith down on the mat, striking him with a dropkick to the knee. Waldorf hooks a single leg Boston crab on Keith and Keith struggles in the hold, trying to force a break by going to the ropes. The referee steps in and breaks the hold but Waldorf tags out to his partner Marv Statler. They set up Keith and send him to the ropes -- Waldorf with a drop toe hold and Statler with a big legdrop! Statler makes a cover: One, Two, Broken Up By Matthew Keith. Matthew grabs Statler and runs him into the ring post through the turnbuckle in a neutral corner. Matthew goes back to the corner and he takes a tag in from his partner. Matthew goes right after Statler and America's Most Wanted take control.]

[Moving ahead in the match, AMW have been in control, beating down a prone Marv Statler again and again, using double teams and tags to keep a fresh man in the ring. KC Glenn catches Statler with a savate kick and stands over him, posing as a fan raises a sign reading: 'Ale! Marzen! Weisse!' Glenn picks up Statler and drops him with a Fisherman's Buster. Glenn makes a cover: One, Two, Kickout! Statler somehow survives this match so far. Glenn picks up Statler and goes to hang him in the tree of woe but Statler manages to wiggle out and land on his feet behind Glenn! Statler pushes Glenn face-first into the turnbuckle and then grabs him around the waist -- German Suplex! Statler hangs on to the waistlock and pulls them back up for a second German Suplex! Statler releases this one, having used up so much energy just for two of them! Both men look to crawl toward their corners. Who will make the tag first? Both sides are reaching out. KC Glenn tags in Matthew Keith and Marv Statler tags in Jack Bruce!]

[bruce comes in like a house on fire! He takes down all three members of America's Most Wanted with clotheslines! He focuses in on Matthew Keith, striking him with two right hands, does a little dance and then a left hook that sends Keith to the mat! He hooks Keith in a vertical suplex that connects not once, not twice but three times! The Long Island Trio has the fans on their feet! Jack Bruce stands up and claps his hands, getting the crowd fired up. He hits Keith with an elbow drop, a leg drop and then bounces off the ropes, hitting a splash! The move series known as Welcome To NYC! Bruce makes a tag out to Dean Waldorf and Waldorf comes in, looking to finish things off. All six men enter the ring and a pier six brawl ensues! Jack Bruce and KC Glenn battle to outside the ring on one side. On another side battles Greg Keith and Marv Statler. In the ring, Matthew Keith dodges a dropkick attempt by Waldorf. Keith grabs the Head And Arm of Waldorf and strikes with a Neutron Plex! That is a set up that his family has always used. Keith moves in, setting up a Scorpion Deathlock but with a bridge backward, hooking on a reverse neck lock. Waldorf struggles in the hold, trying not to submit. Outside the ring, Marv Statler is sent into the guardrail. Finally, Waldorf has no choice but to tap out!]

Winners: America's Most Wanted (Via Submission @ 17:20)

Match Rating: B-

[The crowd here at the Ministry are in shock as America's Most Wanted have picked up the victory! Jack Bruce fights off KC Glenn to enter the ring and break the Proton Lock. Bruce yanks Matthew Keith up and strikes him with the New York Minute! KC Glenn enters the ring from behind Jack Bruce and drops him with the Tune Up The Sunshine Band! Greg Keith enters the ring and the show ends with America's Most Wanted standing tall in the center of the ring. AMW exit the ring without an incident and head to the back as Ernie Turner thanks everyone for coming out here tonight and says they will see them all next month right here!]

The sky is the limit as far as this promotion goes. We have wrestlers like Bulldozer Brandon Smith, The Keith Brothers, Dermot O'Logical. A lot of wrestlers that are the future of this business. If we can keep them here in New York it will make the growth of this company that much easier. So to answer your question I am planning the growth of NYCW. I hope to one day compete with the likes of SWF and TCW."</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Wow. We will begin with my first NYCW stint back from 1994 to 1996. Derek Bradford, the wrestler known to many fans as The Stomper, would be my toughest opponent from NYCW. This man could be brutally strong inside the ring. He is a man that taught me a lot about professional wrestling."</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

In TCW, I don't think there is any doubt that my toughest opponent was Tommy Cornell. I could say Peter Valentine there because of just how tough he is to work with in the ring. But I have to say Tommy Cornell. Tommy could very well be the best wrestler in the world even right now. Though I would love to do another match with him to find out.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

In SWF, there were a lot of tough wrestlers. There were guys like Rich Money or Angry Gilmore. I don't think Eric Eisen gets enough credit for the kind of wrestler that he is. Most people just look at the nepotism there. But he can go in the ring better than most would think. However, I have to say that my toughest opponent there had to be Remo. He and I have had a feud going for a very long time. We have traded World titles on more than one occasion and he gave me my last match in the Supreme world."</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

New York City Wrestling is bringing to you NYCW Welcome To New York from The Ministry in Queen's New York. What an amazing show that we have planned for you this evening. The battle between NYCW and America's Most Wanted will be continuing in two matches. One of those matches will be for the NYCW Tag Team Titles as The Ring Generals defend against Matthew and Greg Keith. Which team will walk away from The Ministry as the Tag Team Champions? The other match will feature the leader of America's Most Wanted KC Glenn going up against a man that is considered one of the most popular wrestlers in the world, the NYCW Owner Jack Bruce!</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Last month, Steve Flash won the right to face NYCW Empire Champion Roger Cage this month at Welcome To New York. He showed some true colors when he attacked Cage and hit him with the Flash Bang. If this happens again this month, we could see a brand new NYCW Empire Champion. Cage is looking for revenge for that attack. Which man will end the night as the Empire Champion?</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Last month, we had two men qualify for a three way dance for the NYCW Tri-State Regional Title match. Those two men are Monty Trescarde and Sammy The Shark. Animal Harker will be the man defending that title belt. Can he survive a three way elimination bout? Or will someone else be ending the night with the Tri-State Regional Title around his waist?</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

NYCW Tag Team Titles Match

The Ring Generals defend vs. America's Most Wanted

Comments: Could go either way and America's Most Wanted are likely to be the next champs but I give this first encounter to current champs.

Black Hat Bailey vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith

Comments: Smith is the future while Bailey is... well the past.

NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match

Elimination Match

Animal Harker defends vs. Monty Trescarde vs. Sammy The Shark

Comments: On my opinion, Harker is the weakest from these three so the question is, which one will win the belt? It´s a close call for me but personal preference swings things to Sammy´s favor.

NYCW Empire Title Match

Roger Cage defends vs. Steve Flash

Comments: Flash had bad match with Frank so either they had bad chemistry or at least one of them is on serious time decline. Either way, I don´t see Flash being the likely champ with Bruce being here and with new blood like Glenn and Smith getting pushed on top spots.

KC Glenn vs. Jack Bruce

Comments: Glenn will benefit from this one even while losing so I don´t see much reason for him to go over.

NYCW Tag Team Titles Match

Comments: AMW are getting a better push than the champs.

Black Hat Bailey vs. Bulldozer Brandon Smith

Comments: It's Bulldozer; he's third or fourth on the pecking order, isn't he?

NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match

Elimination Match

Animal Harker defends vs. Monty Trescarde vs. Sammy The Shark

Comments: This one is a toss up. I went in favor of continuity.

NYCW Empire Title Match

Roger Cage defends vs. Steve Flash

Comments: This will be a good match, but Cage is the guy.

KC Glenn vs. Jack Bruce

Comments: Glenn gets the rub even taking the loss; Bruce stays strong.

Both teams maintain an advantage, with The Ring Generals spending the first few minutes in control until Matthew takes down Statler with a clothesline. Matthew tosses Statler outside the ring and distracts the official as KC Glenn sends Statler face-first into the ring post. The action returns to the ring as Jack Bruce comes around, yelling at Glenn to keep out of it. Around the eight minute mark, the match devolves into a two on two brawl as all four men do battle. Greg Keith catches Marv Statler with a Neutron-Plex and then a double team by the Keith Twins on Waldorf. The referee steps in and begins pushing Greg Keith out of the ring. With the referee distracted, KC Glenn slides in the ring and swings a chair, striking Dean Waldorf in the skull! Jack Bruce jumps in and chases Glenn out of the ring and toward the back area. Cage says that he has had only had to win the title twice and that this second reign is going to be the longest one yet. It will be even longer than the one he held from November 2011 to August 2013. These two men meet in the center of the ring and soon there is a test of strength that the Bulldozer definitely has the advantage in. Bailey is brought to his knees and the Bulldozer shows athleticism when he drops down and brings Bailey over with a monkey flip in the center of the ring. Smith slides on top of Bailey and begins throwing punches before the referee steps in to break that up. The referee distraction allows Bailey to recover and he tosses Smith outside the ring when Smith approaches him. Bailey joins Smith outside the ring and rams him head-first into the ring post, following that up with a clothesline that sends Smith's head back against the ring post. Bailey continues on the attack when the action returns to the ring. He hooks Smith with a Double Underhook Suplex, gaining a two count on the mat. The match returns with both competitors on their feet and Bailey sends Smith to the ropes -- Smith ducks a clothesline! Smith comes back with a spear that rocks Bailey! Both men are slow to rise, leading Bailey to roll outside the ring. Bailey tries to catch a breather but Smith exits onto the apron, looking down at the man in the black hat. But before Smith can do a move, he gets tripped by Bailey. Smith bangs his head against the apron and Bailey rolls into the ring just as the referee reaches the ten count. New York City Wrestling is back in The Ministry for NYCW Proving Ground in May of 2014. What a show that they have lined up for this night. The main event is going to be a four way dance, elimination style where the winner fights for the NYCW Empire Title next month. The four men will include KC Glenn, Jack Bruce, Puerto Rican Power and the NYCW debut of 'The Future' Steven Parker. Which man will come out ahead in this contest?</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Their NYCW Empire title will be defended by Roger Cage in a rematch with Steve Flash. However, this contest will be a little different. It will be a First Blood match. The only way to win is to bust your opponent open and have them bleed. This can be done anywhere in the arena, anywhere in New York. Where will this match end up and who will walk out as the NYCW Empire Champion?</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Black Hat Bailey has accepted Bulldozer Brandon Smith's challenge for another match this month. Smith will be putting his NYCW King Of New York title shot on the line. Can the Bulldozer get a win against one of his biggest rivals in NYCW? Or will the title shot change hands to the ever-dangerous Black Hat Bailey?</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

<p>NYCW Tag Team Titles Match</p><p>

The Rematch</p><p>

<strong>America's Most Wanted</strong> defend vs. The Ring Generals</p><p>

Comments: <em>I didn´t expect them to win the belts just yet, but since they did, I assume they won´t drop them on first defense.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Debut Tag Team Match</p><p>

The Tokyo Express (Fumihiro Ota and Kazuma Narato) vs. <strong>The Young Guns (Ford Gumble and Harry Allen)</strong></p><p>

Comments: <em>There´s lots of star power (well, for me anyway) on this one and while I would love to pick Tokyo Express to win here, I have a sneaking feeling that Young Guns would be the favorites to win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match</p><p>

<strong>Animal Harker</strong> defends vs. Monty Trescarde</p><p>

Comments: <em>There´s some big names in that battle royal so I assume that winner of that one has a good shot to get the belt too, and so I would keep the belt on Harker even if I generally value Monty higher than him.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Battle Royal</p><p>

Winner Faces Animal Harker/Monty Trescarde Next Month For NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match</p><p>

Andrew Harper vs. Blackfire (Debut) vs. Honest Frank vs. Dermot O'Logical vs. Devastating Don vs. Teddy Powell (Debut) vs. Whistler vs. Geoff Borne vs. Sammy The Shark vs. <strong>Man Mountain Cahill</strong></p><p>

Comments: <em> Some interesting names and options on this one. I think it´s between Frank, Powell and Cahill here and since I have no idea if Powell will be face or heel, I play safe and go with Cahill who I believe is slightly more popular than Frank and thus him winning would hurt other guys less than if Frank takes the win. Also, while I would normally say that Regional title would be below Cahill, with all the new names on the roster, giving him a midcard belt suddenly wouldn´t look so odd.</em></p><p> </p><p>

NYCW King Of New York Title Match</p><p>

<strong>Bulldozer Brandon Smith</strong> defends vs. Black Hat Bailey</p><p>

Comments: <em>I could see Bailey taking this one, in case that you are looking new challenger for Cage but I still think that picking Smith is the safer and more likely option.</em></p><p> </p><p>

NYCW Empire Title Match</p><p>

First Blood Match</p><p>

<strong>Roger Cage</strong> defends vs. Steve Flash</p><p>

Comments: <em>It looks like you signed a lots of big name talent (assuming most of the new names are here full time and not one shot deals) so I figure you must have better options as next champ than aging Flash.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Elimination Match, No DQ, No Countout</p><p>

Winner Faces Roger Cage/Steve Flash Next Month For NYCW Empire Title</p><p>

<strong>KC Glenn</strong> vs. Steven Parker vs. Puerto Rican Power vs. Jack Bruce</p><p>

Comments: <em>Normally I would go with Bruce without thinking twice but he's user character so he won´t whine on losses which makes it bit harder to figure out how he's matches play out.... I actually go with Glenn here, not sure what he´s popularity is at the moment but he´s certainly receiving a strong push and I figure he does have a shot on winning this one even if he´s low starting popularity would usually make him the least likely option (from these four) on my eyes.</em></p>
