I've already got a complete Cornell Verse sim (from 2013 to 2028) if you want it, thunderverse+cverse is nearly complete and i have a tew2005 half-on-the-go. CPBHBK
1983Watcher It is now 1996 and after 13 years boy alot of things have changed. First off the AWA has become a global superpower, they have pretty much bested any company that threatened them, such as, WWF (OOB) WCCW (OOB), MACW (OOB), and MSW (OOB). But if you think Verne Gagne did all this think again because in 1990 Verne Gagne retired from wrestling and sold AWA to Wrestling Manager........ Jim Cornette!!! Yes Cornette owns the wrestling superpower. But before you think AWA has no competition anymore, they do have CMLL which is a mexican promotion that has floated around National and International status for a few years now. This has caused Cornette's AWA and CMLL owner Paco Alonso to actually grow hostile of one another. It is also pretty ironic that AWA Pretty much runs the U.S. Wrestling scene (well besides WCW and the indies) and CMLL does run the Mexican wrestling scene as they are the only Mexican company, becuase they put out WWA Mexico and UWA. U.S. Competition Now lets move on to the only company in the United States that has maybe a little chance to take down AWA, and that's Ted Turners WCW. WCW has been around for 6 years and in that time has seen many mediocre champions from Rip Rogers and Mike Rapada as World Champion, to Ken Timbs as World Champ. But as the years went on WCW has been getting better, as they go. There current World Champion has been giving prestige to the title again, as there champion is Terry Taylor. There Luchadors Solar and El Solitario bring a great source of merchandise and notoriety, and Scott Hall and Hawk have been the WCW veterans since the late 80's early 90's. Since the 1980's WCW has always hovered around Cult and National status but honestly, there wouldn't be a difference between the two levels as either way the AWA would still have Flair, Steamboat, Rich, Hogan, JYD, Piper, Martel, Adonis, Kerry, Animal, Gibson, Gordy, Williams, Magnum, Mark Youngblood, Zybyszko, Valentine, Ventura, Rose, Hennig, Reed, Sawyer, Windham, Anderson and many more. Regionals in USA Other U.S. regional companies such as ECW, CWA, C-State, PNW, SECW, and CWF have many great talent as some of them lucked out by getting the guys that left WWF, WCCW, and MACW when they went under. But also they have made many great talents, like C-State's Sting and Steve Armstrong, ECW's Ricky Mortan and Vladamir Petrov, CWA's Bret Hart, Pat Tanaka, Barry Darsow, Paul Roma, Chris Champion, and Buddy Landell, PNW's Shawn Michaels, and Joe Malenko, SECW's, Austin Idol, Bill Irwin, Billy Jack Haynes, Jaques Rougeau, Rick Link, and Jerry Brisco, and CWF's Dusty Rhodes and Sabu. Now going to Japan! AJPW went under in the beginning of 1984 and New Japan has just been floating around the same spot for the last 13 years. A new promotion called Union of Wrestling Forces International (UWFI) came up in 1991 and since they have been the top man's promotion in Japan. I say men's promotion because Japan has All Japan Womens Wrestling which is said to be the top regional company in the world.
