THE STATE OF THE COMPANY

The year of 2000 saw the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts run 8 events. It was a successful year, and leaves the company with a current finance of $10,000,000.

Matthew Dean from GAMMA was named the fighter of the year. He is the current GAMMA middleweight champion and the top pound for pound fighter in the world.

GAMMA is looking into making 2001 an even better year, with a diverse mix of events and fights for fans of every type of MMA. We are hoping to expand into more markets, and reach more fans.

The goals for GAMMA this year are:

GAMMA EXPANDS INTO INTERNATIONAL VIEWERSHIP

The Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts has announced two new ways for their events to be broadcasted. The first one is a new broadcasting company called “GAMMA International”. It is an advertising, internet based broadcaster. It will be available in a huge capacity in Japan, Canada and Europe. The start-up cost of this is $3,001,250.

The second method of broadcast will be “GAMMA FREE VIEW”. This model will be a free, internet based way of viewing the company’s events. It will be available in a medium capacity in Mexico, South America, British Isles, Australia, Asia, Russia, Central America, and Africa.

The reason that the events will be offered for free in these areas is to obtain a rapid growth of fans, and make GAMMA well known in these areas. “GAMMA FREE VIEW” will cost the company $1,501,250 to start-up.

GAMMA currently has two different broadcasting deals in America, an advertising model on C.A.N.N, and a pay per view agreement with USA Free Choice. The PPV agreement will be GAMMAS highest source of revenue.

These broadcasters will make GAMMA the first MMA company that will have their events shown all over the world. The company is left with $5,497,500 in finances.

Interesting.. Is the creating your own broadcaster a feature of the game? Where do you go to do that? I had started a GAMMA game too but hadn't considered that.. I assume the up front cost will quickly be negated by the additional revenue you gain each event though, right?

In your office screen, you can click on media at the bottom right and then an option to create a broadcaster should be there. From there you have your options to choose the type of revenue it gets and how much exposure in each area you want the broadcaster to have. Money is usually not an issue for GAMMA. I haven't played much with the smaller promotions yet but they probably would benefit more from current broadcasters and paying their stars than creating a new one.
