The Life and Times of TNA

Recommended Posts

The new format works, anymore I strongly believe in shorter TV write-ups and then going all out on the PPVs. Hulk and Sting being in power is a good route, one that could go well or very, very wrong for TNA. Excited to see which path it goes!

IMPACT WRESTLING PREVIEW

Impact Wrestling, Week 4 December 2011

It's the last Impact of 2011, and Hulk Hogan is back in power! Taking the reigns from the standing commissioner, Sting, what will Hogan do in his first week in power? How will Immortal, who abandoned Hogan after Bound For Glory, react to the return of the King of the Hulkamaniacs?

Oh yeah, did we mentioned it's the holiday season? Cause it is! And TNA is getting in the spirit by reviving on its greatest traditions - It's a special edition of the Christmas Feast.... or Fired! 20 men battle for four briefcases - one containing a shot at the Television Champion, one containing a shot to battle for the TNA World Tag Team Championships, one with a contract to fight for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Genesis, and the last with a pink slip! Which TNA grappler will hit the gold this Thursday!?

In addition to this, two titles are planned to be on the line, as Austin Aries' open challenges continue, and Velvet Sky plans to use her rematch clause to get a shot at Gail Kim! Mexican America try to end their losing ways against the team of Chris Hero and Brian Kendrick! Lastly, in 6 man action, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero teams with The British Invasion to take on Immortal, in the form of Scott Steiner, Abyss and Gunner!

D'Angelo Dinero & The British Invasion vs Immortal(Scott Steiner, Abyss, and Gunner)

Comments: Go Steiner!

Brian Kendrick and Chris Hero vs Mexican American

Comments: MexAm are an actual team, so I give it to them.

Mickie James, Tara and Traci Brooks vs Gail Kim, Madison Rayne & Daffney

Comments: A win for faces in the KO division to end the year.

Non Title Match:

Bobby Roode vs Austin Aries

Comments: Nice champion vs champion match for the last Impact of the year.

Feast or Fired Match

Abyss, AJ Styles, Bobby Lashley, Brian Kendrick, Bully Ray, Chris Hero, Christopher Daniels, Crimson, D'Angelo Dinero, Devon, James Storm, Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, Kazarian, Matt Morgan, Mr. Anderson, Rob Van Dam, Robbie E, Samoa Joe, Tommy Dreamer

Who will receive the TNA Championship Match at Genesis: Abyss

Who will receive a shot at Television Championship: Mr. Anderson

Who will receive a shot at TNA Tag Team Championships: Devon

Who will be fired: Tommy Dreamer

Comments: Abyss and Anderson I figure would make some good contenders, and Devon winning the Tag title match could perhaps make a really good storyline if Bully would want to barge in on his shot while he is teaming with Dinero. I was between Robbie and Tommy for the pink slip, I figure Tommy is probably pretty expendable (time decline, nothing for him, etc.)

<p>Great end of the year report, looks like TJP is getting somewhere in ROH!</p><p>

WWE is still up top. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

The Top 10 for TNA doesn't surprise me, aside from Scott Steiner.</p><p>

Williams being number one is far from a surprise though, he's a fantastic in-ring wrestler.</p><p>

XPlosion was good too! Can't wait to see what the next year holds for the company, happy to win that Prediction Prize!</p>
