El Mitico misses the Plancha to the floor and gets worked over, only to roll up Nathaniel Ca$ino against run of play! 2nd fall – The Fabulous League of Rudos step up their efforts and beat down Mr Lucha. However, ADB is distracted on the top rope by Fabulous Frank stealing his phone for a union call over DVD royalties. As a result, he misses his frog splash on Mr Lucha III and gets drilled with the Third Strike for the fall! <div style="text-align:center;">Winner - Lucha Noble (E)</div> </div></blockquote> We meet Mimic and El Diablo, sitting in a hallway before their match. Mimic: “Lucha Libre...every day you ruined my life. Any happiness I felt, you washed away in a rive of sorrow and hate. Any love I had in life has been tainted by your presence. Have you ever been turned away by a loved one, rejected to the point where you soul aches? I use to cry myself to sleep at night, alone and angry because of Lucha Libre....but now I'm too dead to cry” El Diablo: “Your phone is ringing.” Mimic: (answering phone) “Hey....hey Mom...I'm well, how are you? Oh wow, Joanie had the baby? Tell Sis I love her and I'll be on the first plane back after my match...well, thanks Mom....I love you too. His small man syndrome exhausted, Smart hits a Smart Attack and hooks the leg for the fall. 3rd Fall – Smart is tired now, from effectively having a tantrum in the second fall and Fire Fly takes advantage with a springboard dropkick and a Sky High Fire Fly. <div style="text-align:center;">Winner- Amazing Fire Fly (E-)</div> </div></blockquote> We see chess legend Vlad 'Russian Rook' Stanvanski backstage playing chess with....Fumihiro Ota?!? Stanvanski: ”I use mighty Russian Rooks against you, puny ninja.” Ota studies the board intently for 20 seconds, then does a backflip and moves a pawn. Stanvanski: “How can this be...a statemate in less than 10 moves...you cheated me, shadow warrior!!!” Ota: “Have I cheated you...or did you cheat me?” Stanvanski: ”That makes little sense, night lord!” Ota: “Hmmmm....I see.” Stanvanski: “What do you see?” Ota: “It is not what I see...it is what sees me. My self help disciplines have made me strong to attacks from all angles” Stanvanski: (holding up Ota's book “Be the Ninja of your Neuroses: How to assassinate your anxieties') “Is this how you beat me, Dark son of honor?” Ota: “Yes...and for $11.99 plus shipping anyone can beat you.” Scared of Ota's motivational mauling, Stanvanski quickly packs away his chess pieces (like those Russian dolls, they all fit inside each other) and leaves as fast as he can...which takes him six moves. Mimic rolls up Aero with a handful of tights. 2nd Fall – With Extra and Aero fighting valiantly and coming close to a equalising fall, Mimic takes drastic action. Distracting Lucha Ref by noting the high amount of drinks not being placed on coasters, Mimic then drills Extraordinero with The Screwdriver for the dirty win. <div style="text-align:center;">Winner – Mimic and El Diablo (E-)</div></div></blockquote> In the back, we see Mark Smart ready to hype on behalf of Jeremiah Moose Smarty: “It's time Lucha was destroyed and this man here is the man to do it. Tough. Determined. Cooks an excellent pancake. All qualities that will make a brilliant King Champion Warrior." Moose: “What about my finishing move?” Smarty: “The High Velocity Headbutt? It's the best move in wrestling today!” Moose: “What about tomorrow?” Smarty: (nervous) “Well...unless someone invents a move where you like, headbutt them, then apply a nervehold, then turn it in to a German Suplex...(Moose glares at Smarty) No, your finisher is the best any day and will easily crush American Flash. Your reign as King Champion Warrior is imminent.” Moose: “Good to hear you say it. Now, carry my car to my bags.” Smarty: “Don't you mean-” Moose: “No.” (E-) The Architect is in the ring waiting for El Dinosaurio, his opponent tonight. El Dinosaurio comes out to his music and grabs a mic. El Dinosaurio: “RAAHHHHH!!!! Architect, I accept your challenge for Lucha Libre contest tonight!!!” The Architect: “THE ARCHITECT is aware of this. THE ARCHITECT signed a contract to face you six weeks ago and has been training every day.” El Dinosaurio: “Are you saying that I've been dodging you????? GNNNAAAARRRRR!!!!” The Architect: “No....THE ARCHITECT is saying THE ARCHITECT knows you accepted THE ARCHITECT's challenge some weeks ago....do you not remember the publicity shots for this show?” El Dinosaurio: “Are you saying I am forgetful?!? RRRAAAAHHHHH!!!!! He calls for assistance, which brings out Thomas Morgan, Morgan grabs El Dinosaurito's leg as he hits the rope...unfortunately, Architect was going for a dropkick and ends up crashing on the back of his head. El Dinosaurito quickly rolls 'Tect up for the first fall. 2nd Fall – The Architect banishes Morgan to the back and calls out Austin Smooth to help him....possibly the worst idea in wrestling since....well, letting Smooth join his faction. Austin Smooth argues with Lucha Ref over the time of his flight, distracting the The Architect from applying the Blueprint. As The Architect admonishes Smooth, El Dinosaurio recovers...Dino Cutter! 1-2-3! <div style="text-align:center;">Winner – El Dinosaurio (E-)</div></div></blockquote> Backstage, we see an upset Brendan Idol sitting on a chair in catering Idol: “Not even on the show....my career is in a tailspin...if only I had a mentor, someone to guide me..." Suddenly, we see Ota backflip through the catering area. Idol: “That's it...a ninja!!!! Er, excuse me...Mr. er...Ninja?” Ota: “How can I help you, young grasshopper?” Idol: “I need guidance, great Shinobi. My life is falling apart...I'm not booked on the first Luchasaurus X show, my car has broken down, my girl won't return my calls-” Ota: “Your partner has left you?” Idol: “Er, no...she just doesn't return calls...she has a fear of....pressing buttons...” Ota: “I know that fear well. It kills three people a year.” Idol: “I know...look can you help me? I want to be a wrestling champion again.” Ota: “Of course I can. I will move in with you and teach you the ways of success.” Idol: “Wow! This might be just what I need!” Ota: “I will see you in your rental car in thirty minutes.” Idol: “I had to hitch hike.” Ota: “Lesson One – A ninja never hitchhikes. Now go, rent car!” (D-) The American Flash is due to give a promo about his match for the Luchasaurus X King Champion Warrior...once he finishes listening to the national anthem.... Three minutes later...the producer gets bored and decides to move on...watching a fully grown man weep openly is a private experience, not to be shared with rowdy wrestling fans.... My first interview is with the new Luchasaurus X King Champion Warrior...and his irritating lackey.

Smarty: "So, what do you want to talk about Curran? Do you have my approved list of questions?

Sammy: "No...I have my own questions Smart."

Smarty: "You best stick to the questions-"

Sammy: "-or what Smart? I'll kick your ass myself!"

Smarty: (To Moose) "You gonna let him talk to me like that?"

Moose: "Yes. (To Curran) Kick his ass if you must, just leave enough of him to drive me home."

Sammy: "Seems fair. Anyway, questions....First question, how does it feel to be the first King Champion Warrior?"

Smarty: "Well, it's great Sammy. Everyone always remembers the first champion."

Moose: "And last champion."

Smarty: "That's right! You'll always be champ!!"

Moose: "For how long?"

Smarty: "Until the skies fall and the world stops turning."

Moose: "That's a bit much."

Sammy: "Yeah, don't overdo it Smarty."

Smarty: ""Shut up Curran! You got one more question, cos the champ is hungry."

Moose: "Champ needs pancakes."

Sammy: "Thanks champ...well, my final question is why are you so against Lucha Libre?"

Smarty: "Well,Sam-"

Moose: "-I'll field this question Smarty...go get the my car running cos my stomach is rumbling."

Smart bails to the Moosemobile.

Moose: "Lucha Libre is wrong because it tries to be fun. Pro wrestling isn't fun...pro wrestling is a tought industry. Watching these clowns make a smiley happy joke out of my life...ain't gonna happen."

Sammy: "With all due respect champ, that isn't your choice-"

Moose: "Damn straight...it's my right...we done?"

...and we're back!!!! Despite the Mid South Girl Guides booking the New Mexico Armoury on the very day we had booked our show, we're gonna bring you lucha libre! Originally, we were gonna challenge the Girl Guides to a Lucha battle...but we're not insured to fight 1,500 Girl Guides. 500 would have been fine....

Our main event sees Luchasaurus X King Warrior Champion Jermiah Moose defend his title for the first time against the Luchasaur himself, El Dinosaurio! Elsewhere on the card, Fumihiro Ota takes on The American Flash in a Special Ninja Challenge match, Libre Noble battle Anti Libre in a three on three match and Brendon Idol faces The Architect!

The pre show sees Lucha Friends! square up to The Fabulous League of Rudos...hey, just cos it ain't on the main show, doesn't mean it's not important.
