Both of these men will look to dethrone long-time ROH World Television Champion Jay Lethal at ASE7, but here they were looking to gain an edge over each other. A good back-and-forth match from start to finish, it appeared ACH had the advantage in the end, but the fans were very behind both men (and extremely behind the Woman of Honor at ringside). ACH fought to the ropes in a Figure Four Deathlock, and just as we were about to see the Best 450 Ever, Jay Lethal hit the ring and tossed ACH off the ropes and onto TJP. He then struck both men with the TV Title belt as they were down, causing the match to be a draw. ACH drew with TJ Perkins in 8:07 following a double disqualification and interference from Jay Lethal. He had a big problem trying to shut Rocky Romero up at ringside though, which led to Kyle O'Reilly jumping on the RPG Vice member and putting him in an Armbar on the floor. This didn't phase Beretta, though, seeing a victory in his future, he went ahead and landed the Dudebuster DDT for the one-two-three and a clean victory over Bobby Fish. Beretta def. A victory here would seal his spot in the Main Event at ASE7, and he doesn't even have to beat Cole to get there and make a triple threat. Jay Briscoe looked great as always, and let out a lot of aggression on both members of the Kingdom (maybe hoping to injure them like he did Taven). Bennett and Cole fought Briscoe and Strong in the center of the ring, dueling punches and kicks. Cole was floored by Strong, leading to him rolling out of the ring and retreating with the gorgeous Scarlett Bordeaux up the ramp. Bennett didn't notice his partner missing, but it didn't matter. He was hit with a Jay Driller and submitted to the Strong Hold soon thereafter. Jay Lethal will have his hands full with two Three Way title defenses at ASE7. Roderick Strong and Jay Briscoe def. The Kingdom (Cole & Bennett) in 12:48 when Roderick Strong def. Michael Benett by submission with a Strong Hold. Kazarian brought his A-Game, though, and made it hard for the speed machine to get much of anything going in the early part of the match. These two started to show pretty good chemistry as opponents as the match rolled on, getting us hyped for the two-on-two. Quite a match started to dwindle down and Frankie Kazarian was up top, looking for a Flux Capacitor! Unfortunately for him, Sydal managed to escape, knock him down, and instantly land a Shooting Sydal Press for the one, two, three! Matt Sydal def. Frankie Kazarian in 12:52 by pinfall with the Shooting Sydal Press. Rating: 58 Soon after the match ends, we see Christopher Daniels slip into the ring and lay Sydal out with the Angels' Wings! This is followed by Chris Sabin running down to the ring to help his Love Gun compatriot, and take Daniels down with a Clothesline, and hook him up for the Cradle Shock! We get Sabin helping Sydal up to end the segment and keep Love Gun looking good before their first ever ROH World Tag Team title shot! His abilities as a singles competitor have really shone through, and the first ever ROH World Champion looked to put an end to AJ Styles here tonight. Styles, on the other hand, wants to face Austin Aries one-on-one. To do so, he needs to beat a very game Low-Ki. Thus, this great main event was born. Interestingly enough, Low-Ki came out alone (without his Trilogy stablemates) for the first time since his return to ROH. He took it to Styles right at the start, beating him down with his Martial Arts fighting style and landed a Ki Krusher within the first five minutes! ONE! TWO! NO! You can't put away Styles that easily. The IWGP Heavyweight Champion kicked out of the Ki Krusher with authority and starting working away at Low-Ki now. Before you know it, these two were trading blows, and countering each other's entire arsenal (it seemed)! All the while, neither of the other two Trilogy members, nor the Bullet Club, appeared at ringside. Around the fifteen minute mark, a double clothesline left both men lying in the center of the ring. Fans chanted "This is Awesome!" as referee Todd Sinclair began to count for them to recover. Low-Ki recovered first, using the ropes to hop up to his feet. He headed up top, and signaled for the end with Warrior's Way! The double foot stomp was followed by a cover for the one, two, three! NOPE! Everyone is in disbelief as Styles manages to kick out at the last possible millisecond. Low-Ki can't believe it, and sits in frustration, unable to put away his opponent. The match rolls on, and Styles manages to fight back into it. He dodges an Enzugiri attempt and lands a Pele Kick, followed by the Superman (Springboard 450 Splash) to find a victory! LOW-KI KICKS OUT! AJ Styles contains his composure, and pulls Low-Ki up into position for the Styles Clash. Low-Ki manages to counter into a Hurricanrana, and bounces off the ropes, coming back with a Shining Wizard. He heads into the cover, but Styles powers out after two. Styles gets to his feet and the two begin trading kicks. Before you know it, they are exhausted and Low-Ki kicks Styles in the gut, setting up for another Ki Krusher. AJ powers out in mid-air, lands a Pele Kick out of nowhere, and then sets up for the Styles Clash. This time, he successfully executes the move and holds Low-Ki down for the pin. ONE! TWO! THREE! There's the victory! AJ Styles def. Low-Ki in 22:46 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. As for Trent over Fish, how often does Bobby Fish lose in ROH?!?! I think it's very rare! I think O'Reilly tends to get pinned in reDragon's tag losses.
