To a great ovation from the UK crowd both home grown stars Robbie Brookside and Norman Smiley joined Spike Dudley and Jerry Lynn in a four way for Lynn’s Light Heavyweight Championship. All four men show how gifted they are. Smiley is able to lock Robbie in a Norman Conquest (Crossface chickenwing) but Lynn quickly hits Smiley with a ‘Superkick’ then picks him up and hits him with a ‘Cross Armbreaker’ and forces Smiley to tap out.

Referee: Tim White

In what was a hell of a match two major feuds in the WWF come to a head as Angle and his buddies Edge and Christian take on Benoit with The Hardyz. Jeff and Angle kick the match off and spend the majority of the time trading holds until Jeff shows why he is a risk-taker attempting a ‘Whisper in the Wind’ but Angle ducks the move. Multiple tags later we see Matt and Edge in the final seconds. Matt attempting a ‘Twist of Fate’ but Edge reversing it pushing Hardy into the ropes and hitting him with a ‘Spear’. Triple H [vs.] Davey Boy Smith

Referee: Tim White

Davey Boy’s second match back with the WWF is against the WWF Intercontinental Champion Triple H. Davey who will compete in the European Championship Battle Royal shows no ring rust as he brings the fight to Triple H. Ross notes that Stephanie is not with Triple H as she is spending time at home with Shane resting after she was attacked by Goldberg. With a lot of moments happening outside the brawl gets messy with HHH sending Davey into the announce table and getting back into the ring so Davey faces a possible count out. Davey gets in the ring at 9 but is met with a ‘Spinebuster’. HHH then goes for a ‘Pedigree’ but Davey punches out of it and attempts a ‘Running Bulldog’ but HHH gets out of that and finally hits a ‘Pedigree’ to beat Davey in his home town for nuclear heat.

Terry Funk Passes Away

[We were given sad reports on Monday right after RAW is WAR that wrestling legend Terry Funk had passed away at his home in Texas. The reason for Terry's death is still unknown but we will give you more information as it is released. The rumor is that a tribute show is in the works Saturday the day before WWF's Judgement Day and it will be organised by NJPW and the WWF both companies that Terry competed in. Terry was only 56 years old.]

Blue Meanie Arrested

[blue Meanie was arrested by Colorado police on Thursday after possession of small drugs. Meanie will be fined and face court in a couple of weeks.]

CM Punk Rising

[iWA Mid South Wrestling had SlamMania 2001 this past Saturday which received praise from Internet fans. The highlight of the show for many was the performance by CM Punk. Little is known about Punk but he is certainly rising up the ranks.]

Tour of the UK

[WWF Superstars have just returned from their week long tour of England. Both Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon were said to be pleased by not only the turn out but also the financial success of the tour. The company is looking to tour Japan in the near future perhaps as the place for King of the Ring.]

Time to respond to some comments!

Comments on Diary: I'm really liking the way you're taking this all, I'm not the best when it comes to running more than one tv show, so seeing how you handle both shows is definitely the best part for me.

Yeah doing more than one show is defiantly a challenge especially thinking of ways to make each show fun and different.

Comments on Diary: Instantly hooked

Great to have you one board! And yeah it may be to early to debut Goldberg, his debut is against Shane McMahon at Judgement Day.

Goldberg's actions only leave us with more questions! In a way, you doing anything involving WCW guys rushing in makes me miss Vince a little bit; he would definitely be out there in front to get in anybody's face to stand up for his product, and him in Goldberg's face would be entertaining if nothing else. But no Vince has also not turned Austin into the weasel that he played in real life after the heel turn, so it's bittersweet thoughts.

Steve Blackman - Just out of these two. Nothing about Billy Gunn screams "Hardcore champion", despite him having worn the title before it was 24/7. I think Rhyno will come out and take the belt back though, or perhaps a cameo from Mike Awesome soon.

3H - Davey is a solid pick up, but he's not in the shape to be much more than a strong hand in the midcard.

I wish I comment about the Vince stuff but I can't or I will give stuff away!

No-one picked Billy to win the belt and I hope you guys like what I do with Billy as Hardcore Champion. To me at this point the belt was just for a fun match and a bit of comedy relief so thats what I will use it for :D

I didn't think I would keep Davey for more than the UK tour but I thought hell why not one last run for the Bulldog.

WWF Light Heavyweight Championship

Comments: Potential WCW cruiserweight (I'll keep saying this till one shows up :D)

Comments on Diary: Very intrigued by the Goldberg - Shane storyline, the foreshadowing to what appears to be the Invasion has been superb

Ask and you will recieve in the form of NORMAN!!!

Thanks for the compliments there AMarc

Comments on Diary: Maybe you can keep Davey Boy alive.

We already lost Funk so I am hoping I don't lose Davey.

Perth You Say

God it was hot during that week

Comments on Diary: Like others have said, I like the Goldberg storyline, good way to kick off the Invasion.

Thanks Warhawk, but WHOS NEXT???

Comments: Some kind of rule I keep hearing about!

Comments on Diary: Lovely British themed show ;)

Well that rule doesn't apply here Mr. Lloyd

It was fun booking for a UK crowd!

Comments on Diary: Still loving this, and just about to head over and nominate you :D Is The Misuto, Muta?!?!

Comments on Diary: Great job again, if that is hype for The Great Muta than that is really awesome.

Cheers mates. I don't know I saw three faces.....:D

Comments on Diary: It's good. It's true! It's damn true.

Thanks scarlet! :D I will be posting a preview for Judgement Day very soon!

Looks a great card!! It's a stacked roster for sure man. Can't wait until you get a couple more big names in from WCW/ECW and begin to split the roster up (which I think you'll be doing soon). The Misuto is three wrestlers?!?! Awesome!!!

Yeah can't wait to write it! Can't wait for you guys to see who I am bringing in! :D:D

Well, I mean, you can't bring in the greatest WCW star of all time (Brian Pillman)...

Actually, I'm expecting you to end up with a lot of WCW stars. BUT... I don't think you'll fully unveil your roster of WCW signees until Wrestlemania is over. I feel like you're going to handle things slowly and deliberately.

I wish I could sign Pillman! I love that prediction scarlet, I do normally do plan things slowly but meaningful.

Yeah its been hot as hell in the West Aus a complete opposite to the other side.

I completely forgot you lived in Perth or I defiantly would of. We should go watch some indies some time!
