<p>One of my best shows yet, and most of the card is just setting up bigger, stipulated matches in the future. My lucky day!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW Summer Showdown</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Sunday – Week 4- July 2016</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The LA Connection</strong> (Aaron Andrews & Chance Fortune) defeated <strong>The All Day Express</strong> (Darryl Devine & Bart Biggins). A timely rake of the eyes to Devine as he tries to climb to the top rope allows Andrews & Fortune to hit the Fault Line for the win. (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>While being apart of arguably the hottest team in TCW, on the following episode of Total Wrestling, Aaron Andrews wins a 20 Man Battle Royal to receive a International Title Shot. When his partner Chance Fortune tries to congratulate him backstage, Andrews brushes him off. Andrews tells Fortune that he used Chance to get his career back on track after losing the World Title and several big matches. “I’m back on top…and I don’t need you anymore!"</em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW International Champion <strong>Sammy Bach</strong> defeats <strong>Nate Johnson</strong> to successfully defend his championship. Bach forces Johnson to tap out to the Bach on your Back to notch his 13th successful title defense! (86)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Party Squad</strong> (Donnie J & Jimmy Foxx) shock the world and once again defeat the much bigger <strong>Freak Show</strong> (Giant Tana & Jay Darkness). This time it’s no fluke, either, as Donnie puts Darkness down for the 3 with the Death on Miami Beach! Never underestimate the underdogs! (79)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Masked Cougar</strong> defeats <strong>Bulldozer (Brandon) Smith</strong>. After being repeatedly tossed around and slammed by Smith, Cougar shocks Bulldozer when he reverses a Running Powerslam into a Roll Up for the 3 Count! (81)</p><p> </p><p>

In a Lumberjack Match, <strong>Ricky DeColt</strong> defeats <strong>Freddy Huggins.</strong> Despite assistance from Freddy’s buddy Casey Valentine, DeColt beats the odds and gets the win after hitting the DeColt 45. (86)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Chaos Theory</strong> (John Anderson & Troy Tornado) defeat <strong>Beauty & Da Beast</strong> (“Fabulous” Eddie Chandler & American Buffalo). A battle of two veteran teams, Anderson gets the win for his team after lifting the massive Buffalo up and planting him with the Ammo Dump. (81)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Eddie Peak</strong> defeats <strong>Joshua Taylor</strong>. Taylor would not be pushed around by the leader of the Freak Show, as he brought the fight to the larger Peak and then some. Unfortunately, Taylor would eventually get caught once too many and planted by Peak, allowing Eddie to hit the Peak of Perfection for the win. (93)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rocky Golden & Ricky Dale Johnson</strong> defeat TCW World Tag Team Champions <strong>The Syndicate</strong> (Jay Chord & Edd Stone) by Disqualification. As Golden clearly has Stone in trouble with the Rocky Road, Chord deliberately gets DQ’ed by blasting Rocky with a steel chair. Post-Match, Golden & RDJ clear the ring of the Syndicate and send them fleeing. Golden & RDJ vow to destroy the Syndicate, but for now they’ll have to settle for their DQ win. (90)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Art Reed</strong> defeats <strong>Casey Valentine</strong>. A rematch from earlier in the month, Reed gains redemption after forcing Valentine to tap to the Dread Lock. (75)</p><p> </p><p>

In the Main Event, TCW World Heavyweight Champion <strong>Wolf Hawkins</strong> defeats <strong>Benny Benson</strong> to successfully retain his championship. Benson vowed to prove Hawkins wrong, to prove that he deserves to be in the main event. And boy did he do it! Hawkins & Benson have an amazing match, and several times Hawkins is a split second away from losing the gold! In the end, Hawkins blocks a victory roll by Benson and reverses into a roll up, and uses the tights for leverage! The referee doesn’t see it and counts to 3! Benson pleads his case post-match, but nevertheless is forced to watch Hawkins stagger out of the arena with a snicker on his face and the World Title on his shoulder. It wasn't the cake walk that Wolf claimed, but the World Title remains with the Syndicate. (96!)</p><p> </p><p>

<p>I'm now in 2019 and 21CW is the most influential and prestigious promotion in the world for 2 years straight. I got my foothold in Japan solidified by purchasing and pillaging both GCG and PHGW, in 2017 and 2018 respectively. I also own a slew of child companies at this point, including CWWF, ELPF, MAW, YEPW, and my own developmental company of UKWE (UK Wrestling Evolved). Between them all I'm bringing in over $1M per month in revenue.</p><p> </p><p>

I also have launched Revolution, the 21CW Subscription broadcast service. Currently it has Enourmous coverage in the British Isles, then Medium coverage in Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Plans are to have Europ to Enourmous, Australia to Medium, and the US to Medium by the end of 2019. All of my child companies have a TV show and events being shown on Revolution in non-overlapping timeslots.</p><p> </p><p>

Over the years, 21CW has managed to have 9 of the top 10 most popular wrestlers in the world, with the top 5 being Tommy Cornell (21CW), Viktor Beskov (21CW), Joshua Taylor (USPW), Leigh Burton (21CW), and Dark Angel (21CW). London Calling 2018 saw a huge shake-up in the way 21CW was handled, as a brand split was initiated after Eric Tyler (formerly of DAVE and CGC fame) joined up in early 2018 and became a foil to Jeff Nova. The result was that Tyler became the General Manager of the Blue brand, with Confrontation being their weekly show, while Nova acts as General Manager of the Red brand, with Best of British Wrestling acting as their weekly show. The B show, Showcase, is shared by both.</p><p> </p><p>

Prior to the brand split of 2018, I had also introduced a Women's division (which is now exclusive to the Red brand) and a Cruiserweight division (which is now exclusive to the Blue brand). Both of which have become midcard staples and have allowed several wrestlers to shine when given the chance to be focused on. I had an unfortunate incident involving both Edward and Tommy Cornell, where they both were busted for painkiller abuse by my drug testing policy (fortunately before the public caught wind). However, both appear to have reformed after stints in rehab and hopefully will have a big 2019 after losing almost all of 2018 (Tommy had also broken a leg early in the year and Edward was in rehab twice during 2018).</p><p> </p><p>

You could go the Batista/HHH route, which is one of my favorite storylines of all time. You could also have RDJ try to get in Jay's head as the vet that has seen it all and sees something special in the 2nd generation talent. Although, I don't really think Jay is good at playing face. You could have Chord take over the stable right out from under Wolf and turn Wolf. That kind of seems like something a Chord would do. Then he rebrands it something more fitting for whatever direction you'd take his character. </p><p> </p><p> I love stables in general. So many options for matches and angles. So fun to book.</p>

In my old TCW game I made it to 2018 and bought out 21st. I then took Tommy Cornell and Edward Cornell. I recreated the Syndicate with Tommy Cornell, Edward Cornell, Roger Cage and Greg Gauge. Greg and Edward took the role of the machines, Tommy as the lead dog, and Roger as the mid card. Wolf Hawkins was my top babyface at the time. I remember I had a big 4v4 war games style blow off to the feud with Wolf Hawkins, Matthew Keith, and some tag team that I want to say was Ernest Youngman/Logan Wolfsbaine.

Decided to do a watcher game, in 2024 Tommy Cornell is now based in Northern Mexico where he is a midcarder for OLLIE.

I honestly forsee in many games Tommy Cornell eventually becomes Ric Flair. Wrestling until he's dead wherever he can get away with going to.

Total Mayhem and Little South of Sanity are booked. LSoS is mostly rematches but...

Total Mayhem III was my first 100 rated show in a LONG time! 64,000 in attendance, and it brought the event up in importance as well! Let's go over the cardddddd!

1. Apollyon (BLZ Bubb) def. Valiant, Superfly (Spanish,) Danny Rushmore, Johnny Bloodstone, James Brandon for the TCW Golden Ticket, aka MITB. in a ladder match (86)

Apollyon won this, why? Because hes the kayfabe brother of my UC. (Kane and Undertaker) and it makes sense later.

2. Too Hot & Fetu (regen, changed everything bout him to make him similar to Meng and later Rikishi) def. Canadian Wolves (Dan Dalay and Eddie Chandler) for the TCW Tag Titles. (79)

This was a year long storyline come to an end. Too Hot was a jobber, Fetu was an evil mean heel that was slowly getting out classed by my new main event scene, and also he capped at 77 popularity. I paired them up. Too Hot and Fetu is literally Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty. They were unlikely to win and were a duo that disliked one another as Fetu constantly beat down Too Hot, but Too Hot's resilience earned Fetu's respect. Too Hot went from local jobber to 60 popularity everywhere in 6 months, which is pretty solid considering I never gave him wins until the last 2 months.

3. Shawn Flair (regen. mentioned before) def Enygma, Flare, Raven (Black Eagle), Mario Heroic, and Magnum Kobe © to win the CW Title! (94)

I liked Kobe as champ, the issue is... everyone in the CW division besides Flare and Enygma and Shawn are heels. Kobe loses the title he won with a perfect match after just 1 defense. He'll win it back, Kobe can realistically do anything as he also had his 2nd perfect match a week before LSoS

4. Enforcer Roberts def. "Crippler" Barry Kingman to retain the TCW International Title (76)

The manager Gene Nelson (regen, had 100s in every stat lmfao balanced) betrayed Barry and helped Roberts retain. In hindsight this was a mistake as it killed Barry's career as Nelson was the only interesting thing and Roberts didn't need him.

5. Rich Money def. Christian Faith in a cage match (96!)

Rich has turned into a great worker the past 6 months. He was as over as Faith too when this match started. I pulled a WWE and Sting'd Faith and made him lose his first Total Mayhem. Rich is younger and won by escape due to interference from Steven Parker, Joe Sexy, and Squeeky. They formed Rich Money Inc. This will get Rich a world title reign in the future.

6. Izo def. Yoshimi Mushashibo (95)

Izo Tokudome is a regen, a great one too. Yoshimi is on loan, as I had a pretty long arching storyline involving Yoshimi, Haruki Kudo, and Izo Tokudome. This culminated here. I can't let a PGHW loyalist beat TCW here, as I'm selfish. Short-term mini feud ended, Yoshimi is 90 popularity in US though, so he'll be used more often than not.

7. Abaddon (my UC) def. Haruki Kudo for the TCW World Heavyweight Title (99)

Abaddon is my Undertaker. First singles title reign in TCW, won't hold it very long though. Kudo was 42 when he lost, and he actually lost due to interference. Danger Kumasaka, the 51 year old NON-DECLINING veteran was pissed that Kudo called himself the greatest wrestler from Japan. Here he is. 51 years old and still wrestling at a high level, nobody can say they can do that. This will be another mini-feud that will reignite in January. (Total Mayhem for me takes place in September)

Main Event: Sensational Ogiwara def. Ichihara & Thunder Hike for the TCW Women's Title (98)

I admit, I wanted this to be MOTN. But it's okay. Ogiwara has won the title for a record 4 times now and my women's division is a double-edged sword. It's so strong but so dominated by these three. They even main evented my WrestleMania. Good news is a non magic three is booked to win the title soon. Bad news is Ogiwara isn't done.

That's my card! It's a big long to write but I wanted to share. I'm really having a blast rewriting history and such, changing names, creating factions, etc. I take a lot of inspiration from the AE/RA era from WWE and current NJPW. Helps a lot.

Advice Please: My dev fed has at least 8-10 guys wanting to get called up. I want to make a second brand but don't really want to grow that large. Should I make a brand dedicated to Cruiserweights? On one hand this will be a smaller 1hr "A" show featuring my CWs. On the other hand it puts them on 205 live and makes them a gimmick, and my main event CWs have competed for the heavyweight title. Not sure what to do really.

I treat it like nxt, with its own storylines and titles. Once someone hits the higher end of Midcard/lower end of upper Midcard they get "promoted" to the main roster. It's been a great solution for having to call up multiple Developmental talents at once and avoiding those morale hits.</p>

<p>Glad I could help. </p><p> </p><p>

I will usually leave anyone not asking to be called up in Developmental until they request to be called up or I have a spot open when someone gets promoted to the main roster. I also demote a few guys who were already on the main roster but are lacking momentum or direction. I really enjoy the added freedom of getting to develop a bunch of young guys at once away from my main roster. You will also develop them much faster by having them in a weekly tv showand since it's a B show it won't hurt you to have the ratings suck. </p><p>

The only drawback is having to work twice as many storylines.</p>

Maybe it's just my luck, but it seems like every TCW game I ever played I'm waiting for Rocky's performance stats to improve, and they never really do. <p>We are no three quarters of the way through the season and Electric Dreamer is having a hard time reminding Starlight and Moonlight they were once allies. All the while fighting Melvin Otto and his Harbingers (now just one as Talia Quinzel aka Zealot got hired on a written to 5SSW).</p><p> </p><p>

Meanwhile my first bigger names have joined the company. Everyone else who I've hired has been mostly an unknown. But Acid was let go of by WLW and Hell Monkey now known as Revear has been working the American Indy scene. They have arrived and attacked both Logan Wolfsbaine ending his 17 win streak over the past 7 months when he finally took his shot at Melvin Otto and the AWE Inspired title. Funk Force (Foxxy LaRue and Fro Sure) have been dominating the tag scene as champions. They were going to lose it to the Dark Disciples the team in Otto's Harbingers but again Zealot signed elsewhere.</p><p> </p><p>

I treat it like nxt, with its own storylines and titles. Once someone hits the higher end of Midcard/lower end of upper Midcard they get "promoted" to the main roster. It's been a great solution for having to call up multiple Developmental talents at once and avoiding those morale hits.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I do exactly the same. It also allows me to really push the mid card and lower guys I want. Playing a real world mod sometimes I have guys I want to push but don't have the tv time to do so. My B brand is essentially a tier between the main roster and nxt. All ppvs the B brand gets the pre show for matches. I find it works well. I keep it very basic in the sense wrestler A is the champ and wrestler B wants the belt. So not loads of extra work in that sense.</p>

<p>Posted this over in the Booking thread but as yet not been picked up. </p><p> </p><p>

Any ideas from you guys <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Currently playing as HGC and find myself in a bit of a booking pickle... apologies for long post.</p><p> </p><p>

Currently the main event of the first Total Mayhem is set as an Iron Man Match with defending Champion Rip Chord putting the belt up against no.1 contender Sam Strong. </p><p> </p><p>

The issue being I dunno which way to go, They have in essense been fueding since January (now in May) and have clashed 2 previous times on PPV, once at War to Settle the Score, where Strong won by DQ, Then at Hollyweird in a cage match where after the debut of Nemesis, Chord retained, so this in essese is the rubber match between the 2. </p><p> </p><p>

If Strong wins, there would be one final match where Chord invokes his rematch, then I'd likely put the fued on ice for a few months moving guys like Romeo Heartthrob, Charlie Homicide, Nemesis and BLZ Bubb into the title picture facing Strong. </p><p> </p><p>

Having Chord retain, there wouldn't be much in the way of "ready" competition as there would be Liberty, Dusty Streets (i'll come back to in a moment) and Damon Carruthers apart from that there is no one else really ready to step up and face the heel champion. </p><p> </p><p>

Both are strong options, neither are in time decline yet despite their age and both have been pulling high ratings with and apart from each other. </p><p> </p><p>

If Chord retained I planned on having Streets turn heel and cost him the match as recently he tried and failed to win the belt at Hollyweird, he'd state that he's sick of Strong getting all the title chances as he has received more than any other wrestler.</p><p> </p><p>

Any ideas?</p>

You can build up other baby faces to take on Rip while Strong has his reign. Or, you could do the opposite. Or, you could do what I just did in my youtube diary and push someone in the main event when they may not necessarily be ready. I've added Joey Morgan to SWF's first ever Elimination Chamber match so there's a bit of a freshness in the main event scene.</p><p> </p><p> I'd personally go with fresh challengers for Rip Chord. Push someone to main event a couple shows you wouldn't expect. You may be surprised at what you get. Also, coming out of the season finale show is kind of a down time anyways, so seeing what talent might stick at the top could potentially be beneficial to you and realistic as it's the slow time of the year.</p>

After dropping a bad show last week (72 grade, dropped my pop from 85 to 84 in all US regions), I came back strong with my highest rated show yet in the go-home to my February PPV, Freedom Road.

The card for Freedom Road is:

- USPW World Heavyweight Championship - Nicky Champion © vs. Tyson Baine

- Enygma vs. Steve Frehley

- Cage Match: Chris Caulfield vs. Rich Money

- USPW National Championship - Rick Law © vs. Jumbo Jackson

- Marat Khoklov vs. Krusher Karloff

- USPW Women's Championship - Melody vs. Gorgon ©

- James Justice and Towers of Power vs. Ernest Youngman and The Ring Generals

How have you not made this into a diary? This seems like such a fun company and it would be cool to read about it.

I had a diary for it. But I just can't keep up with the writing. I have so much other stuff going on. Ya know training, actually wrestling, writing a gaming blog, work, girlfriends.
