What's going on in your game?

(I feel this is too large to just post in the thread haha)</p><p> </p><p>

Tried to replicate as much as I could despite just simulating until the company opened itself making things difficult. Sad I couldn't use Eddy in any capacity as he was the one who faced Super Crazy irl. And he wrestled on their next show a couple times. Regardless, I'm going to enjoy this game as I wait for TEW 2020 as I've never tried to start ROH from the beginning. I loved the show, personally. Not missing anything essential from the actual first card they had. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>I just tried out BHOTWG for the first time about a week or so ago after my millionth failure of maintaining interest in a save usually alternating between BCG and TCW and man I'm super upset I waited until right before the next game is coming out to try em. Idk if never tried them before because of their huge roster or their weird weight split, but they are easily my favorite promotion already and I am praying their roster stays intact for TEW 2020. </p><p> </p><p>

BHOTWG has awesome ME heavyweights like Kikkawa, Nakasawa and Horri that put out consistent A or A+ individual grades, but it's also a challenge because they are kinda old. Luckily, there are plenty of prospects to choose from like Sakai who is a beast, Matthew Keith (obvi) and this young guy Atsumori Takemura to will take over the ME scene one day. </p><p> </p><p>

That being said, the juniors are what keeps me coming back to BHOTWG. Sensational Dragon, Elemental and Helikaon are all just ridiculous. Speaking of which, I just finished up my first Best of the Super Juniors which I had no idea how to book because there are only 4 shows leading up to it after Inferno of Purity so I didn't think that was enough time for anything round robin style which is how I would assume it is supposed to be done. So instead I had to go with an old fashioned single-elimination tournament with 16 participants, with round 1 starting week 4 of June and having the final set by the time Best of the Super Juniors PPV was ready to start. For the seeding I just threw my top 16 healthy juniors in a random seeding generator which made incredibly uneven brackets, but led to some nice storylines of collusion. Here was the bracket:</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="https://ibb.co/KGK4BqR" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="Bot-SJ-2016.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/1nzyBqh/Bot-SJ-2016.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p><p> </p><p>

The actual PPV was graded 95 with my guy Helikaon in the ME as only a midcarder. The event was upgraded to Legendary status after the show which was cool too. I can't wait to see what BHOTWG looks like in the new game.</p>

I'm playing with NOAH in a RW mod...

I'm in August 2020 (8 months of playing) and Go Shiozaki was still champion for my first ever USA Tour (in partnership with IMPACT and MLW).

He defeated Moose in mid-way of the tour and had to defend his GHC Heavyweight Championship against the one who eliminated him in the Misawa Super Cup (tournament held in July) : Eddie Edwards !

It was my very last show before the beginning of NOAH N-1 Victory 2020 (G1 Climax-like tournament if you will) and Eddie Edwards captured the GHC Heavyweight Championship for the second time in his career and it is one more time by defeating Go Shiozaki !

My main competitors for N-1 Victory are Go Shiozaki, Michael Elgin, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Kenoh, Kaito Kiyomiya, Kento Miyahara (AJPW), Tetsuya Endo (DDT), Moose (IMPACT) and Tomohiro Ishii ! So, who's gonna go head-to-head with Eddie Edwards at NOAH The Best 2020 in November ?!!

(Good to know : Eddie Edwards will have to defend his title before NOAH The Best 2020 against the guy who defeated him in Misawa Super Cup's final : Kento Miyahara !)

WWE - October, 2014 ("Mega-Save" featuring RW, C-Verse and various parts of other mods - Began May, 2001)

YES Movement Continues

Daniel Bryan has taken the WWE by storm the last few months defeating John Cena at WrestleMania for the WWE Title and has since defeated the entire Authority. Now, he gets set to face the returning Sammy Bach, who's fresh off the set of a major Hollywood film and is looking to now become the leading star on Monday Night RAW!

Crack In The Shield

The four superstars that made up The Shield once looked like one of the most unstoppable forces in pro wrestling history, but greed and jealousy tore the group apart. Jay Chord turned on the group joining The Authority in June and Seth Rollins turned on Ambrose & Reigns in September following winning the MITB Ladder Match. Now, the two teams will clash over the tag titles, but can either team fully trust their teammate?

The Power Of Frehley

Since cashing in his Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam, Boobie Frehley has defeated the likes of Brock Lesnar, Jeff Hardy, Tyson Baine and Gage Golden. Now, he faces the returning Phenom: The Undertaker! Can "The Deadman" reclaim the title or with Natural Storm by his side, will The Power be too much for the veteran Undertaker?

Chickbusters Finally Steal Spotlight

As the wrestling world prepared for a showdown between Alicia Strong and JoJo Rodriguez, the trio of AJ Lee, Kaitlyn and Havok ruined a dream match and the group would use their numbers advantage leading to Havok stealing the Women's Championship from Strong. Strong and JoJo will have to put their differences aside to combat the Chickbusters!

Ring of Honor

Who Is The Best In The World?

After surviving the Survival of the Fittest Chamber Match at SummerSlam, CM Punk is now to outright number one contender for the ROH World Championship and champion Shinsuke Nakamura has been cleared to return to in-ring competition just in time for Glory by Honor live from Tokyo. CM Punk has been at the top of the ROH mountain before, can he dethrone the "King of Strong Style" in his home country to reclaim the crown?

Serious Business

The newest titles in the company are the Trios titles and The New Day, in their debut matches as a unit, won the title tournament to become the inaugural champions. They're fun-loving ways aren't a hit with everybody as Dan, Duane and Edd Stone fear the titles will become a "joke like the New Day." The Stones look to take the trios division in a new direction, but the New Day won't let that happen without a fight.

Shooting From The Hip

Following AJ Styles losing the Survival of the Fittest Chamber match, Gallows & Anderson failing to capture the ROH Tag Titles and Omega and The Bucks losing to the New Day in the Trios Title Tournament, Styles, Gallows, Anderson, Omega and The Jackson Brothers have a closed-door meeting with an unknown superstar. Could a new faction be forming or is something else being cooked up by some of the top stars of ROH?

The Swiss Superstar

While Kings of Wrestling have dominated the ROH tag team division over the last five years, Cesaro has turned many heads this year with his in-ring ability. After Hero suffered an injury and the Kings lost their titles, Cesaro impressed in the Survival of the Fittest Chamber eliminating both The Miz and Sami Zayn. Can Cesaro continue to surge as a solo act and possibly make the leap into World title contention?

Trying to get Oliver Kobb over in SWF. The idea came to me when I started a new game last week and was looking over the roster.

My plan is to insert Kobb into the feud between Bruce and Crippler. On the first show, Kobb is scheduled to face Crippler. Bruce gives Kobb a bit of a pep talk backstage. Crippler beats Kobb and continues to beat him down post-match, leading to Bruce making the save.

The following week, as retribution of sorts, Kobb costs Crippler a match against Angry Gilmore. Backstage, a furious Crippler attacks Jack Bruce.

At When Hell Freezes Over, Crippler jumps Bruce during his ring entrance, softening him up for their match. Crippler looks set to win when Kobb comes out and causes the distraction.

From here, the idea is to have Kobb keep hanging around with Bruce. The Bruce/Crippler feud will continue but I'll be crossing it over with other feuds. First, the World Title feud which, and then a re-ignited feud between Angry Gilmore and Eric Eisen. Eric will be rolling with some heavies, looking to cause havock in the SWF. It will probably be Eisen, Primus Allen, Spencer Spade & Gargantuan. I'm hoping that having Kobb in high rated angles with Main Eventers and Menacers, he'll get over.

Long-term, the plan will be for Kobb to turn on Bruce during Bruce's final chance at the SWF World Heavyweight Title, probably at Supreme Challenge 2017. I see Bruce being at some sort of disadvantage when Kobb hits the ring with a baseball bat, ready to even the score for his buddy. But then he turns on Bruce, unleasing a sickening beatdown, leaving him bruised and battered. That'll lead to a Bruce/Kobb feud where Kobb will prevail, sending Bruce packing and into retirement, and hopefully making a star out of Killer Kobb (that'll be his new name)

Roh 2020

Started an ROH save with an April 2020 mod. I'm basically trying to emulate WWE's strategy in that I'm using the matches announced for the cancelled Supercard and 18th Anniversary shows and spreading them out over a few weeks. Guys working elsewhere makes it tough to book. Jeff Cobb is always busy; I literally moved ROH Wrestling to Thursdays, primarily so that I could use Cobb.

Running a test run for a modification on a file I'm using when this pops up

"In tragic news, it has been announced that Swoop McCarthy, 29, was killed last night after falling into a vat of liquid nitrogen and consequently shattering into tiny frozen pieces."

Well, Damn.

Just started a new 21CW save as Jeff Nova (vague aim is to attempt to make Jeff go SuperNova and take over the wrestling world).

I was thinking of joining Vicki Company and Mark Misery up with the Cornells to start a larger corporation-esque Franchise stable (Mark Misery being there to eat the pins in multi-man matches for the time being) and with a view to bringing in other workers from outside 21CW as and when they become available to join the stable, long term aim to have a Cornell vs Jeff Nova feud over control of 21CW with all the Cornelll guys being workers who made their names elsewhere, or at least are starting to. Looking at guys like Greg Gauge, future potential franchise players and folks with a link to big names in the global wrestling world, who join with Tommy and Edward. Keeping a close eye out for anyone who becomes open to working in the UK. This might end up with an Edward face turn against Tommy to defend 21CW somewhere down the line.

First match in, bad chemistry between Mark Misery and Vicki Company as his manager.

Bad luck, mate. Plans may be changing for those two - I'll probably be looking for a new role for him.

I also have plans to start a "Brexit" angle after World War (coinciding with the timing of the Brexit referendum), with The Defence Force leading the charge against the dastardly Europeans, particularly the Red Menace (Red Devils and the Ivanoff Brothers), probably bringing Brickhouse Balder into this early on, with plans for a Sebastian Koller heel turn to join the group. He might be the leader, or I'm considering splitting Hot Stuff and having Buff Martinez fill that role. J-B Cash might actually stay with him and follow the money...Short term, Koller is having a face run against the aging Stevie Stoat over the UK title. Him getting no help when he's getting attacked by Stoat might be the catalyst for him to turn.

Also thinking of a Marat Khoklov debut at World War as a shocking 'big surprise' to bring some star power to this group and level the playing field somewhat. Rolling Johnny Stones will probably return and go face to join this storyline.

(I'd really kind of like the 'patriots' to be the heels in this scenario, to play against type somewhat, but don't really have the European faces to play against it, and there are so many tempting Euro-heels to bring in like the Johanssons, Crusher von Steinberg, Merle O'Curle as an Irish nationalist). This also has the potential benefit of assisting with a push into Europe by bringing in European talent. I'm also thinking this might be a good storyline way to bring in Hugh de Aske, playing off his Belgian nationality, and he and Koller seem like they might work together well.

Meanwhile Jonathan Faust is forming his own stable, The Pact, to continue going after Dark Angel. (I've seen Hellbound from the 2020 update, honestly I had this idea beforehand but haven't actually done anything about it yet), this will probably include Nightmare and Grave Digger (aim to get Grave Digger over this way) and possibly bringing in Haiti Voodude and Evil Spirit to join the group. Unfortunately Bedlam hurt Dark Angel in the first TV tapings of the game which might set this plan back somewhat.

Recently got back into wrestling watching AEW and had the itch to do an AEW save so I downloaded the last version of RWC for TEW16 and fired it up. When I typically book companies with TV, I do not put a lot of thought into long term booking, but wanted to change that this time around. I am also keeping track of wins and losses similar to how AEW does IRL. I also went in and manually released all WWE/NXT wrestlers that were let go IRL in 2020.

Here are the results for Double or Nothing along with some notes about the long term plans:

Jon Moxley © vs PAC

Notes: Mox's long term plans are tied into a few other storylines, this is just a title defense for him since PAC was left without a major storyline at the start of the game. Eddie Kingston was brought in to provide Moxley with someone to act as backup.

Kenny Omega & Adam Page © vs The Young Bucks

Notes: Long term plan for Kenny is to follow closely what happened IRL, with him eventually turning heel and winning the gold. Page's long term plans will be addressed a little further down the list. This match was chosen to get a good rating and title defense for Omega & Page while I build up another team. Still unsure on long term plans for the Bucks, but their current heel run is making me lean towards that direction.

Hikaru Shida vs Nyla Rose ©

Notes: Had Shida take the belt here, Nyla's match performances as champ were not good so I needed to get the belt off her. Eventually Baker will take the title off Shida and then down the line, the title will end up with Statlander.

Guardians of the Fellowship of the Ring vs "Red Giant" Pudd Nelson, Mick "The Kracken" McKracken, "Powercat" Jeff Winslow, "Bareback" Benny Figg and Mockingbird.

Notes: Ok, so my biggest storyline is heavily influenced by the MCU, and I thought why not use more MCU influence. Guardians of the Fellowship of the Ring is a group made up of Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent?, Colt Cabana and Kris Statlander and it is basically the wrestling version of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Instead of Matt Hardy showing up to help the Elite vs the Inner Circle, I had him show up as "The Collector" and has been doing weekly angles with the GotFotR where I hire local "legends" as part of Hardy's Collection. So far I've used Virgil, 2 Cold Scorpio, the bWo, and a few others I can't recall off the top of my head. I brought in Raven to be the leader of the heels and to slowly corrupt Hardy. I brought in Erick Rowan, Austin Aeries, the Ballard Brothers, and Laura James to lose the night of the PPV, all renamed using Chuck Taylor's list of unused gimmicks, except for James. Rowan and Aeries will be brought in on 1 year contracts to carry on their roles and I will add more to the group as I go. I've seriously had way too much fun booking this storyline.

Brian Cage vs Cody

Notes: Had Brian Cage win the inaugural TNT title tournament, as I didn't want all of the titles to be on faces and Cage was putting out great matches.

MJF wins the Casino Ladder Match

Notes: Planned on doing a long burn formation of the Pinnacle, but retirement for Tully Blanchard pushed the plans up and this was a result of that. One note is that Shawn Spears will be replaced by Curtis Axel in my version of Pinnacle.

The Dark Order vs SCU

Notes: The plan for the Dark Order is the biggest storyline I'll have going for all of 2020 in this save. The plan is for the Dark Order to kidnap and brainwash Adam Page turning him into The Dark Soldier. Page will appear to be fine once Kenny and the Bucks get him back, but when Uno and Stu get their tag title shot, Uno will whisper into Page's ear and Page will instantly turn into The Dark Soldier and attack Omega allowing the Dark Order to win the tag titles. The Dark Order will use their secret weapon to win all the AEW titles for a period of time. This will lead to AEW turning to the only group strong enough to be capable of stopping them, that's right, Guardians of the Fellowship of the Ring. With the help of John Silver and Alex Reynolds, they will get Page away from the clutches of Brodie Lee. This will lead to Page trying to overcome his Dark Soldier period by "crossing off names" of the people he was able to defeat as the Dark Soldier, eventually leading to him winning the AEW World Title off of Brodie Lee. He will eventually lose it to heel Omega, and have to decide if he wants to channel the power of The Dark Soldier to recapture the title.

The Inner Circle vs Jurassic Express

Notes: Making sure Jericho gets on the card and a punishment for Luchasauras for testing positive for roids. Inner Circle will eventually turn face and fued with Pinnacle as they did IRL.

Controlling WCW in the mod that starts in august 1993. The big storyline is obviously The Masters of the Powerbomb (Vader & Sid Vicious) feuding with Sting and Davey Boy Smith. So the Clash is building toward the War Games match that will take place at Fall Brawl. Harlem Heat and their manager Rufus will join forces with The Masters of the Powerbomb, while Sting and Davey Boy have help from Road Warrior Hawk and the returning madman Cactus Jack. Cactus is looking for revenge after Vader nearly ended his career with that devastating powerbomb back in the spring of 1993.

I'm finishing the Rick Rude vs. Dustin Rhodes storyline pretty quickly so that I instead can run a Rick Rude vs. Ric Flair storyline.

WCW fell to cult during the difficult 1st month, but now we have red hot storylines and have increased popularity for a lot of the workers. We also managed to steal VIP interviewer Mean Gene Okerlund from the WWF.

The Rude Collecting Agency (Rick Rude and his insurance policy Mr. Hughes) managed to steal Ric Flair's title and his woman. Rude have also had some help from The Hardline Collecting Agency (Dick Slater and Dick Murdoch) and Pretty Wonderful (Paul Orndorff and Paul Roma). But Flair and Arn looks to reform The Horsemen to get their revenge.

The Nasty Boys defeated Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) for the tag team gold and soon there after also won the IWGP World Tag Team titles.

The babyfaces Sting, Davey Boy Smith, Hawk and Cactus Jack may have won the War Games match, but the unstoppable Vader is still the reigning WCW World Heavyweight champion and Sid is a walking bomb just waiting to explode.
