Thinking about getting this game, messed around with the demo, have a couple of questions.

1. Is there a proper MitB cash-in system now? I read about the late additions feature but nothing about a post-match cash-in.

2. How much control do you have over child companies with regards to booking and which workers you want the promotion to focus on or prepare for a call-up.

thanks

You can set titles to change hands during angles now, so that would be the best way to do it.

2. Same as before for the most part as far as booking, but you still have much more control.

If i find the dev journal link to it i will post it. So its easier to book cash ins. Not perfect yet, but much better than in previous versions.

Could you have a late addition be the winner or does the game not work that way?

Another way is you could add a 6 minute 1 on 1 match after if you prefer, but if it's your main event it could get a worse score than the other. Depending on who you have involved, it could get a higher score as well though.

Also - how do I ever win my national battles? I'm playing 1991 as WCW. WWF's Top 3 talent have higher #'s than my top guy.

WWF - 3,932 - Hogan (946), Warrior (850), Savage (803), Slaughter (703), Roberts (630)

WCW - 3,337 - Sting (793), Flair (689), Luger (625), Rude (624), Steamboat (606)

My PPV was head and shoulders above theirs in January and shows always have got "fantastic reviews" where a lot of WWF is putting on crap shows.

Maybe I should just turn this feature off. I don't think I agree with how its ran at all, unless there's something I'm missing here.

Having a battle depend that much on a top guy seems a bit unrealistic. i mean, sure, Hogan did change the landscape of WCW, for example, but if there weren't any good shows or storylines to go with, like the NWO when it was fresh, things would have been very different and him alone wouldn't have been enough.

Important to have top guys like you said, but it does seem weighted too much. I absolutely destroyed them with the Flair/Sting, Flair/Steamboat, Steamboat/Sting combinations. lol

I don't know if it'd be possible to replicate the Monday Night Wars this way.

It may be hard. Having Stone Cold or The Rock might have done wonders for WWE, for example, but only cause they were involved in hot storylines and matches most of the time. If WWE's product had become so stale like WCW's did, then it wouldn't matter who both sides would have, both would have suffered in ratings. At least as i see it, having great top guys is important, but if there isn't good shows to back it up, it won't make that much difference.

Where it could make a difference is in companies with similar things going on. But someone that have tested it for longer than me will surely be able to say if the wars are well replicated by this feature or not.

If I want to pull off a 2 on 2 squash match, do I use the domination and decisive finish notes for both wrestlers on the winning team?

EDIT:

Also, what's the difference between sending someone down to development to "work down there" vs "to train people"? In '13 training people meant they worked down there, so has something changed here?

Is there somewhere that talks about how development territories work? Trying to set this up and it's pretty overwhelming.

If not, I'll post my questions here in addition to the above:

Using as development territory. I want to control everything.

1) Do I need to sign staff such as road agent(s), referree(s), etc?

2) I have it set up as a touring company for now - how do I make sure they hold shows? Creating an event that is shown weekly?

3) If I create a tv show, will the company try to get it on air themselves?

It's a good way for you to keep people in the ring without using them. If they're a big star though, they'll be annoyed at being stuck at development, but otherwise they shouldn't complain.

1. Yes, if you select developmental territory you need to sign road agents and refs. If it's going to be on tv, you'd need announcers/color commentators as well.

2. On the child company control screen you just make the events for the tour. Simple as that.

3. I haven't seen it happen, but it may. I generally end up making my own network though and just putting it on there myself.

I'm importing a bunch of workers into a RW save. Drugs testing, how long does it take people to turn their act around. So I join and test everyone, discipline those who fail etc. Then say I'm testing again at my show a week later and the same people come up. Does this mean they are continuing to offend, or is there a period of time we need to leave it for someones samples to clear up, if that makes sense?

Rehab is an option but then you'd be without them for a number of months, firing them can clean them up instantly, but obviously you fire them.

Quick question/opinion: I am playing as TCW and running the promotion with a heavy performance over popularity tilt. Think ROH/NJPW/Evolve style. I want to run a round robin tournament similar to the G1 Climax. Has anyone run something like this successfully with a TV show/ppv based promotion? The scheduling is kind of a nightmare because with only one TV show a week, there's only so many matches you can get done. I could make the number of wrestlers involved very small, but it doesn't feel the same. Or maybe just scrap round Robin and go single elimination? Curious on everyone's thoughts.
