I can never get used to Japan, as I keep losing popularity every show. It's do to the fact that it's perf > pop, which I am not used to. I really want a long term save in Japan, but I keep quitting do to bad grades, as matches are rated on performance. Even NJPW have big guys that's not that impressive in-ring, so getting great matches from them is tricky.

But I really want to... regarding multiple PPV's, some months NJPW have 1 ppv, and other months they have 4 ppv's. So that's a month with 4 ppv's, 2 weekly touring events and one TV-show pr week. That is a lot of booking... and angles aren't even needed, which also hinders my booking. But I keep coming back to give it another try.

I feel like your throwing in the towel and excusing your shows due to the products without really putting in effort as to why. How do your shows look? What sort of cards have you had? What road agent notes are you using? What's the dirt sheet saying?

I book the good in-ring workers against each other, but can only hit the mid 70's rating. Best I ever had, was two 85 rated matches (last two matches) on the card, but the overall rating was still 78.

I book a lot of multiman matches, and a few singles matches on the cards.

As to Road Agent notes, I use the same in every save. Winner, Regular match aim and open match most of the times (I've disabled match-aim requirements for all saves). I've booked around 8 touring shows, 4 tv-shows and a ppv in total, but the best grade was 83. Rest has been midt to high 70's, which has lost me popularity.

A match that advances a hot storyline is generally going to be rated higher than one that doesn't.

Well, they don't require storylines so didn't really think about it. Besides, I tend to book japanese promotions realistically, meaning a "storyline" is one match, before they move on (if you look at Okada in NJPW, who's wrestled a different opponent at every ppv, if he even defended the title at all), and since every show is 90% matches, I never really book angles.

You're not gonna be having amazing shows asap.

Nearly half of the BHOTWG roster is over 37 meaning a ton of them are entering or into Time Decline already. Of those guys over 37, at least 7 of them are main eventers. And 4 Upper Midcarders. BHOTWG are deep into 'time to push the young guys' mode. Fortunately there are a ton of young guys available Yoshinaka Taku, Tanyu Toshusai, Tsuneyo Yanagimoto, Razan Okamoto, Orange Tsuchie, and thats in Japan. Any of them could move up to the top of your roster before too long. Color commentator is probably going to nerf your show grades.

Then there's just the fact that your guys on the roster that arent in TD need a couple of months to improve.

You're not really doing it wrong - you're just being impatient trying to grow. Though for the matches, my advice (and this is just whats worked for me when I book perf > pop), is that if everyone in the ring is over 72 psychology then use Call in Ring, I also add Slow Build if they're a few points over 72. You'll probably get some bonus points to your matches if you do it.

But seriously. Try to play half a year with BHOTWG before you throw in the towel. Not every promotion is plug & play where you'll be dominating asap. Give it time.

If you look at Okada then you'll note the great rivalries he's had with Tanahashi, and Omega that have gone on for multiple years. I mean, the 4 years of 2012 to 2016 on Okada's wikipedia is literally "Feud with Tanahashi" xD. They're just not in your face the way WWE is.

You're right. I am really impatient, but losing pop every show for a month causes the overall pop and importance to drop rapidly, and then, yeah... I get impatient and quit 'cause I don't wanna drop to Cult. I'll definately be using storylines from now on, even if for only 3 weeks to a month. Although not yearlong feuds, if they're facing each other... that doesn't anything to the next defense. (Unless I add that guy to the feud, and have him do nothing, and then the storyline rating would bump up the match rating, and then drop him the following day).

I have a random question. Has anyone ever created Adam Ryland as a playable character? Adam, have you ever created yourself in the game? I'd probably sign you in my current WWE save, not gonna lie. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I've actually created a few storylines, and it have given a few better matches. However, my last show had a main-event of 87, but still an overall show grade of 80, barely enough to not lose popularity. But it's still something.

Hi all!

Playing the C-verse here with my own created promotion. I am in Cult at present and have 2 child companies. If I put them to do shows in Hawaii and Great Lakes for example. Will the popularity gain and grade transfer to my Company?

So if they reach 30 Pop in those areas, will I have 30 pop too?

Thanks in advance!

Child companies popularity has nothing to do with the parent company.

So that I can bring people in as local talent to lose without them having to use their indy name.

There is a suggest name button in the game... you can use that to randomly generate a name, which is pretty much how WWE came up with so many terrible ones over the years. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Alternatively, I used to literally name my jobbers as Jobber #1, Jobber#2, etc.... I'd track who each of them were and if they did well (even though they'd lose all the time) I'd eventually give them their real name back. The pay off was that one of them would actually win a match against a decent level talent... they they'd keep the jobber name, maybe Jobber #17 or something, and go on to have a pretty successful run with the name. Generally I'd make it a wholesome babyface of some kind, but an angry heel would work for that too because he could be upset that he wasn't brought up to the company as a name talent. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

How come, when I add a new title to my alliance titles, that it ends up under my company titles? It should be my alliance's title, and not mine, right?

That is exactly what I've done.

But the title showed up under my company's titles.

Edit that... it shows up both places. Both under my alliance titles and under my titles.

Edit again... Okay, so I advanced a day, and now it's gone from my own company's titles, but remains in the alliance titles.

So no harm I guess...

I think it starts at 3 months for 1 appearance, but you can easily check this by looking at their contract with you.
