NJPW needs a serious overhaul in this mod. It's a mess. Like Tanahashi is the figurehead but he hasn't been the figurehead in real life since he lost to Okada at the Wrestle Kingdom 11 and Okada's comically unpopular for some reason that I don't comprehend. It's weird.

 

 

It's like a bootleg NJPW where the names are right but the characters don't match up. Heck, Omega like a B or something in Puro despite having like four MOTYC in the last eight months. It's just odd.

 

 

I mean the company has E momentum! That's not even close to being right. At their lowest, They're at maybe a B+.

 

My main problem with the company though is that it doesn't match up to the company historically. Okada should be higher then Tanahashi, He should be around Hashimoto's level but he's not. He's actually lower then Tanahashi and somehow lower than like every IWGP Heavyweight Champion ever except for like Salman Hashimikov and that makes no sense within the actual historical narrative of NJPW.

 

 

 

No serious NJPW fan is like "Pfft, Okada? Nah, Yuji Nagata's where it's really at." That's just not a thought any NJPW fan has ever had and I've watched a lot of NJPW. I've watched everyone from Fujinami and Kimura to Canek and Fishman.

 

I mean I respect NJPW's past. I love watching 80s NJPW probably more then anyone else in the world but it's not that great honestly. It's fine for what is and the era it took place in but it shouldn't be overshadowing the current generation at all.

 

I don't know. It's like playing a baseball game and watching the 2016 Chicago Cubs lose to the 1927 New York Yankees. It's just not how things work.

 

Opinion noted. I'd say thanks for the feedback but its just a rant filled teenage tantrum so not helpful in the slightest. Besides you clearly have issues with reading because I've said Japan in general is a work in progress.

 

Decided to take a look at NJPW now I'm home (I have a job and friends and stuff which I prefer using my time on... who knew!) Now, Okada at a B+ overness is a bit low compared to his popularity these days but is not even slightly "Comically Unpopular" as your post says. Learn the mechanics of the game. B+ is extremely popular. Kenny Omega has had how many MOTYC? Did he win match of the year? Anyway I digress, he may be tearing it up in Japan but in all of the infinite possible universes, he is not the greatest wrestler that ever lived - so although I may boost his Puro a little, don't expect it to be stupid numbers that throw the rest of the world off balance. I've had input from several NJPW fans a year or 2 ago and even used a NJPW 2016 guide last year to improve it so you calling it "bootleg" shows both a lack of respect to others and to the mod in general - although I could put 3 workers into a database, Call it the "Tri-Force of Wrestling Awesomeness" and it's still more than you've contributed to the community here so I'm not too bitter.

 

Anyway, continuing with my diatribe to try and ease some of your NJPW blues. Not sure what you mean by previous stars overshadowing the newer stars either because most are on the decline and their popularity isn't great. Further evidence you don't know how the game works maybe? I think Nagata, who you mentioned, is set set between 65-70 and he is in age decline so again, not sure what your comment about him seemingly being more over than Okada was about because on my game he doesn't put on better matches. I'd make mention of more people but as I've mentioned, Japan is a WIP so unless you have something worthwhile to contribute rather than a tantrum I'd suggest maybe not bothering to download any future updates of this data.

Small error with Netflix Mexico

 

i was trying to find out, what the requirements for a broadcasting deal with Netflix Mexico in the february version were, so i looked in the Data. As it turned out, you need to have 35 popularity in 4 region, although Mexico only has 3 ingame regions. I am not sure if that makes any sort of deal with them impossible, but i thought that i should let you know. By the way, thank you very much for this amazing mod.

Hey Fleisch , i have a question. do you have a kyky pack for your mod? if not, could you possibly provide me with an info which pic packs will work on your mod?

 

Unfortunately I don't know of a kyky pack out there that fits into this mod perfectly (I am not a fan of the background TBH). The mod was built around my own picture pack initially and then I transferred them to this newer style when TEW 2016 was released. Unsure if any one else has a plug and play kyky pack though that may be compatible.

<p>For RWC April I have worked a little on TPFKA TNA. They have been renamed Impact Wrestling and I have added Bruce Prichard to the roster in an on screen authority role (for now). I have also added <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Alberto El Patron</span> to the roster seeing as he just made his debut at the March 2nd tapings. The way Impact seems to be operating in terms of workers is a bit difficult to emulate because they seem to be bringing some guys in for one off matches at the tapings so unless they appear multiple times or they win a title I won't be adding everyone who appears as every month I'll end up rebuilding Impacts roster. I'll leave them with the core roster.</p><p> </p><p>

I haven't touched the belts as I don't know if they will be changing them now the company is no longer using the TNA name, but we've got a long way until April so I'll do belts closer to release or when more info is posted.</p><p> </p><p>

AAW have been added. I'm currently building the roster and have about 7 or 8 workers to add to the data.</p>

Austin Aries and Hideo Itami's injuries should be removed or shortened as both are cleared to compete by WWE medicals (I think pwinsider reported this a few weeks ago alongside Nakamuras medical status).

 

I know Gimmicks are a work in process but you might want some tips anyway. Mickie James, JBL and Xavier Woods aren't suited for their current gimmicks.

 

I think Chris Hero is a regular on NXT again so he should be put on a Development Contract with WWE.

 

Sarah Dobson and Kimber Lee have already made their NXT debut so there Starting Abscence should be removed.

 

Rosa Mendes has retired from the business and should be set so, her absence should be removed and her contract with WWE dissolved.

 

Edit: Also Naomi should be set on the injured list with a length of 7-8 weeks probably.
