Fleisch Posted February 10, 2017 Author Share Posted February 10, 2017 <p>wXw updates are done. 50% through sorting CHIKARA's roster - unfortunately I don't know any of the new guys ages so I've pretty much guessed and will amend as and when more info about them is released.</p><p> </p><p> I'm also going to add a few more free agents. OTT may have to wait until April now instead of March as I spent my down time today catching up with the 4 shows on CHIKARAtopia that I hadn't seen yet. I will attempt to watch some OTT next month as I have a week off work then, so I will probably get a day to myself to watch a couple of shows.</p><p> </p><p> If you notice any ages for workers or debuts that are completely wrong then let me know. I've cross referenced Wikipedia entries with Cagematch and Wrestlingdata but some vary from each site. I love your mod, but the only thing I think is somewhat off is the European landscape. I have the feeling that it is too focused on Scandinavia, while Central Europe is becoming THE hotbed in Europe.</p><p> </p><p> GWF is the disputed #1 in Central Europe, only really challenged by wXw. It is the oldest still running wrestling promotion in Germany and has a real tight schedule with shows every 3 weeks. Also, besides their homegrown talent, they have guys like Matt Cross, Saraya Knight and Doug Williams as regulars.</p><p> </p><p> If you feel the need to delete another promotion to make space for GWF, I would suggest you get ridd of FCF, since they're the smallest European promotion in the mod right now and Scandinavia is already a pretty crowded place.</p><p> </p><p> If you would add GWF but it's too big of a workload at the moment, I could easily support you by making worker pictures, or researching title roster or even setting up the roster if it's necesarry. This is my own decision for what has gone on with them recently. I'll be replacing them in April as I've already got 2 promotions to replace so there will be no more replacements after this for the foreseeable future. Their site roster isn't all that up to date either so again I've gone by recent events to get a base roster together - and from matches I've tried to work out who is heel and face (bit difficult when Paul Tracey vs. Pete Dunne was a heel vs. heel match though!)</p><p> </p><p> I've probably "highlighted" the last 6 months in terms of shows as I can't watch many entire 2/3 hour events so again, my stats may be a little off as I've not watch complete matches.</p><p> </p><p> Oh and I have to say, I've become a fan of Martina and The Kings Of The North watching these highlights!</p><p> </p><p> Anyone know who owns the promotion and head booker? Might do that for the one's I can't find.</p><p> </p><p> OTT Wrestling has now been finished. Well all except the commentators that is. Joey Cabray (Luther Ward) has been set as owner as per the info above and also as the booker for now. I can't find any info on Jake O'Brien though, just a picture so for now I've not included him on the roster. I've no doubt missed regulars but tried to go by any info I could find so point out any I've missed upon release. Jigsaw and Jeff Cobb have 1 month loan deals for the March update with OTT so if you want to use them for ScrapperMania they are there.</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: Mexico is getting a boost with the addition of The Crash Lucha Libre promotion run by Konnan. PCW aren't really needed and aren't a great representative of UK wrestling, and the vast majority of their roster work within other promotions so it doesn't leave a lot of people unemployed within the data. Wasn't really a fan of PCW in the beginning anyway and added them at the request of someone.</p><p> </p><p> Thinking I Kay get AAW added in the United States along with WWC at some point this year but can't say when as WWC is pretty hard to come by in the UK.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> EDIT: I'm still working on the Women's mod and Earth-2 mod but they are going to now be side projects so I won't be putting as much time into them as RWC is currently getting. I know I said a release should be here Q1 2017 but that isn't going to be possible.
