<p>Reina Chaos had some work done on it yesterday. Someone mentioned it on Twitter and it made me want to get through some of it... well, from a worker standpoint I have 300 or so left to add/edit and do pictures for which will take the total to 1050. Not bad going considering yesterday when I started I had around 800 to edit. I am just using my RWC picture pack for it as I can't be bothered cutting 1000+ pictures to a new background. </p><p> </p><p>

I still have a long way to go until it is fully playable but it's made progress for the first time in months! The start date will remain January 2017 for the mod.</p><p> </p><p>

With regards to RWC, I have completed Sendai & OZ Academy now and removed REINA (although everything for them is still in the mod in case someone wants to reactivate them). I was going to close FMW down, but I have played one of my favourite saves as them before so probably want to keep them in for that reason. </p><p> </p><p>

I've heard nothing more about IWA:MS shutting down, but when they officially announce they are done, I will close them down in the mod. I will keep all the belts etc in so the histories are there still. </p><p> </p><p>

My next job is to add a few of the Australian workers that have been pointed out to me should be included. Not sure how many of these I will get done, depends if ages and debuts are easy to find. Plus I actually have to watch some of their matches which means no more additions are possible after these.</p><p> </p><p>

Tidying up a few of the other promotions may have to wait until next release but I'll try to ensure at least their title holders are up to date..</p>

Been gone for like 9 months, haven't even touched TEW in that time, but got the feeling again and just wanted to say I'm thrilled to see Reina Chaos is still in development. A women's mond by the one and only Fleisch...what more could a women's wrestling fan want? </p><p> </p><p>

Good luck with it, looking forward to one day playing it. Hope all is well in the real world.</p>

Bloody CHIKARA! I keep saying "no more additions to the data" and then they go and bring in another 5 new wrestlers! Blanche Babish, Thief Ant, Callux, Frantik and a new Volgar.

 

I guess I shall do my best to get them added. Most look to be rookies from the Wrestlefactory so I may have to make up the ages until we learn more about them.

I am going to probably work on a hugely streamlined locations file. I am currently finding most big companies tend to stick to the same few arenas and a lot of arenas currently in RWC are never (or very, very rarely) used for events.

 

I will obviously include all the major locations, with a few venues for the smaller companies, so for example there may be 100- 125 venues in the USA rather than the 1000+ there currently is. This should be more than enough for the game to play through properly, still giving the player a choice.

 

This is also mainly for Mexico where there are way too many arenas in the data than are used by the promotions I have in game. The format will also be different in that I won't be having all the areas grouped by putting 2 letters of the state before the arena. It will be formatted "Boston Garden" for example.

 

Whether this get's out for the end of March is unlikely as there are a lot of locations to do, even in a streamlined version. It may be released as a stand alone initially and then you can delete the previous locations and import these.

 

Currently - 100 arenas & Venues have been added, mainly from the WWE/NXT events over the past 3 months.

Work has really kicked in on RWC at the moment (but once again I forgot to keep track of what has been done so "surprise" to anything I've not reported). The entire Japanese landscape has changed significantly since the last update (huge thanks goes to southside_hitmen & Dr_Avalanche for their extensive spreadsheet and help on this - the hours they have put in is truly impressive and gave me a lot of motivation to get cracking).

 

That isn't the only thing that has changed. I have imported my locations file (only around 180 at the moment but growing) - I should have 300 by release with any luck, but this is a work in progress and probably won't be 100% complete for April - although WWE which most people seem to focus on are running more shows in arenas they should do rather than random arenas they have never held a show in.

 

In terms of promotions, the UK has not even been looked at much this time around (with the exception of title changes). The work that is going on elsewhere has taken precedence this time around so a few of the rosters may be a little dated. Mexico have had a small update to the way the companies run (although I'm still not entirely happy with it as I cannot get it to run like it does in reality, so will look more into it at a later date), and as I've said, Japan will be a completely new experience from previous releases for those who enjoy playing as one of the promotions there.

 

The Mask and Hair history has had a bit of an update too, along with several other smaller tweaks to various parts of the data. All in all I am very pleased with how the next release is panning out. Oh and just before the question arises, release is scheduled for March 31st.
