For example, Owens was telling a story on a podcast of putting together a multiman match and Sami was coming up with all the ideas and talking over everyone, and Cesaro was getting pissed he wasn't getting any input in.

The road agent isn't planning every spot for these guys. He'll come in and tell these guys who is going over, how much time they have, what the type of finish, and maybe if there is something important they have to do.

Everything else comes from the wrestlers. It was exactly like that back in the 80s.

The stats in game reflect the fact that they could put ideas across. No one is hopeless at putting a match together (well not as many as people seem to want to believe). It all comes back to people not actually knowing that for example, a C is good in TEW. It's a good stat, but people seem to think if someone isn't at least a B/B+/A then they suck but they don't. It's been said numerous times and so I still get a bit confused when someone says "why are wrestler X stats so bad!?" only to find they have C's and C+'s. I have been VERY strict on people's psychology stats so that you will have to book WWE the way WWE is booked and not just use the "Call in Ring" option because no one calls an entire match in ring in WWE or TNA (or many places these days). It's the way I enjoy playing the game so I wouldn't look for there to be a sudden increase in psychology.

Hope that sheds some light into my thought process of why it is the way it is.

I had also been working on a secret project the last month or 2. It is basically a female only data set but with a bit of a twist in that it will also include the women of MMA, fitness models and other sports as future and current workers - not to mention some random workers created by myself who will also be set as future workers. It will also still have a few male characters in as Owners, Road Agents, Refs and Announcers - but NO in ring male workers. It will also be using the Chronicles picture style.

I am looking forward to this; it could be a very interesting mod.

Some WWN stuff this week

Gabe Sapolsky has officially taken over as head booker of FIP.

They also announced the creation of the WWN championship to go across all brands. Also the Style Battle tournament is being turned into it's own monthly tournament promotion though I wouldn't expect that to really be worth the hassle of adding as it's own thing.

Plus there will be some returns to the ring for former wrestlers such as Kaitlyn, Kelly Kelly and others. I'm only using real life workers, not sticking to if they're retired or not... hell Trish Stratus will probably open her own promotion, or at the very least she'll have her own dojo. Lita, Sara del Ray and Sarah Stock will be the main road agents for WWE (now named Women's Wrestling Entertainment) and Stephanie will be owner with Triple H as the head booker. I've an absolute ton of ideas swimming through my head, I just need to see how they translate into the game. Most of the rosters will have changes to them. SHIMMER and WWE will be at war. Stardom are currently #1 in Japan but I am giving consideration to bringing back GAEA.

Its a shame Del Rey and Stock are roadies, they could easilly fill a Danielson/Mysterio type of roles within WWE.

Do you plan on having a TNA representative, they had a strong history with women.

GAEA would be a good style counter to Stardom, if you want have a mix in Japan how about Ladies Legend Pro Wrestling for older legends and have Ice Ribbon for young rookies.

Are you basing promotions on real world promotions with female twists, or do you plan on having some original promotions as well.

There will be promotions such as Stardom etc... however I will also be adding a couple of my own creations to the mix too. I was going to have a TNA representative, but then decided SHIMMER would be the #2 promotion in USA... but with a twist in it's ownership.
There was an American promotion called IndyGurlz that had an Australian title that sort of floated around with Madison Eagles so you could make a promotion out of that for Australia, there is also Pro Wrestling Women's Alliance which is a side promotion to Pro Wrestling Alliance.

Canada's NCW has a side promotion called Femmes Fatales, they had a small connection with Shimmer while they were active, they still have the title but got absorbed into their main roster.

Mexico also has Women Wrestling Stars, also I'd make a female version of CMLL and have them as their top company.

For the UK there is also LCW Roses a side women's promotion for Leicester Championship Wrestling.

As for Europe Queens of Chaos might be an interesting promotion to have, maybe as a touring promotion that run for 1 month 2-3 times year based around tournaments.

If you are adding in women from other fields, you could put together an "adult" promotion, the only logical way you could make a risque promotion work.

They still have no TV though and no real presence anywhere. Their tag champs have also left and joined WWE's cruiserweight division.

Looking at twitter it seems it was actually a WrestleCade event that the title was defended at so not really their own show being run. They don't seem to have run an actual show since early October in Canada.

Pretty sure I kept them and their belts in the data though just set as closed.

That's fair enough <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

And yes, they are in the DB as closed. I guess I can just set them as "Not Closed", if I want to play as them...

My first time trying your mods, I am currently looking through how you statted workers I know and I admit to being confused more than a few times - for example with how you assign Star Quality to female workers. (I have no idea, for example, why Asuka has <40 SQ, Bayley somewhere around 50, while Charlotte 75 - is it purely about how athletic they look? Because if it's about the intangible stuff that makes a person a star candidate then the following Bailey and Asuka have aquired and the crowds' reaction seems - to a casual once-in-a-while watcher - to be more intense than Charlotte's.)

Is there any place where you wrote up what things you took into consideration while assigning things like SQ, overness etc.? (because I don't feel I should take up your time with asking to write this up if you haven't)

One thing that people need to take into consideration is that this mod was started over 3 years ago so there may still be some stats that reflected a worker back then that haven't been updated due to a number of reasons - time constraints due to everything else people want added and fixed, but also forgetfulness due to the drugs I take.

Just realised my last post made me sound like a junkie. I should probably have said the prescription drugs I have to take. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:D

I have just completed both Women's Wrestling Entertainment and SHIMMER for the female exclusive mod. I've about 550 active workers added with around 100 backstage workers. The rosters (for obvious reasons) won't mirror the real life ones so if someone is missing it could be because they have an exclusive deal with another company (WWE, SHIMMER, Stardom and CMLL are all National companies).
