  4. I get where you're coming from but this isn't how a show works. Introducing a new character that is accepted by the fans won't detract from the show rating just because they're new. Worker popularity is still factored into match ratings it's right there in the Product section.
  5. I'm definitely getting deja vu with some of the same excellent wrestlers from 2013 and 2016 stuck in the midcard with no explanation other than "they have been stuck in the midcard."
  6. Sadly no. There's a feature on Windows 10 called Magnifier that you could set to 140%, turn off the follow settings and then hit the Windows+(Plus) shortcut keys every time you start the game up.
  7. I don't know, I think what's worrying people is how this applies to Real World mods.
  8. I guess, but a successful debut is a sign of a good show, which should make the show grade better, not hamper it.
  9. I agree with that. That was fixed a little in 2016 when workers would automatically snap to a minimum Popularity if booked by decent to large sized promotions. That was a compromise of a "Big debut" idea that people have been suggesting on and off for years, you know, the idea of someone like an Undertaker or Kane skyrocketing in popularity for a brief moment. My guess is that it was never added because it would be too easy to exploit using save scumming or whatever. I mean the people who claim to want challenge and stuff are often the same who used the TCW Marat strategy oddly enough.
  10. Like I said I understand all that, but when it came time to book a card, people sorted the pushes. Maybe not every match, but those icons got a lot of clicks. "*clicks autopush* Oh Matt Jackson is Upper Midcard in the WWE now? Well I guess I can put him in the Main Event." You can look at screencaps and feel them doing it, and watch YouTube videos and see them do it. I think a better way to ease people into this would be to put the worker's popularity in your company's region on their profile, and change that to the region you're running the show in during the PM booking mode. That way the players still have that "smash glass in case of filler match" option, even if it isn't perfect.
  11. I get the idea. I think the problem people are having is that the old push system had a better established ceiling. By that I mean players would realize that Main Event and Upper Midcarders were the only people who would do well in a Main Event match (usually blah blah et cetera). Now it's less obvious and packaged with more factors like how over they are and stuff. Scotty 2 Hotty was a "star" in 2000 but there's no way in hell a sane booker would put him in the Main Event.
  12. Yeah that's an interesting paradox with the display issues. On one hand there's too much going on, but on the other there's a lot of empty space. Those beautiful green boxes I made are weird voids that don't serve a purpose. On the left you have their worker roles with an icon, but if they have three or less (which almost all do) you end up with these weird gaps. We aren't collecting roles so why is it ordered like that? On the Skills and Popularity spreadsheets there's a mile of space between the item and its value, which means you can't figure it out at a glance, you need to follow the row all the way across. I also just struck out the stuff I don't need to see displayed on a worker's profile out of petulant anger. See! See! I'm not crazy! THE COLORS THEY CALL TO ME DOMINIC
  13. I think Adam should move the release date to late May/whenever because this game isn't finished. I have ADHD, and this game hurts to play. It feels like no effort went into organizing or optimizing screens at all. Every aspect of the UI is awful, numbers and text use ridiculously garish colors for no reason, values that were already needlessly large (what does 67 Aerial mean compared to 68 Aerial?) are now even larger and less intuitive thanks to them being sometimes displayed in ranges rather than an absolute value or, God forbid, a grade. Even when they are absolute values, the color coding system is painful and barely readable, because it doesn't use nice modern desaturated colors. It's actually harder for me to compare grades because of the extra mental load of the bright colors on top of numbers. It reminds me of old school Dwarf Fortress and I don't mean that as a compliment. Random text flourishes sidle amidst the ballroom of cluttered information, serving no purpose other than to dance warmth into the cold abyss. "Does not currently hold any titles or positions of power." Great! Who cares! "Has been with the company 6 years" A brilliant haiku of refuse placed atop the rabble's desired information, I say. I learned how to fly an A-10 and at no point did I have to contend with 40 buttons on a single panel like there is in the Office section of the game. They aren't even ordered by function. Top 100s right next to Owner Goals? Why not? As some people worried, the new product system is mystical and esoteric while also being restrictive and punishing for those who are not blessed with the knowledge of its wants and needs (you know, most players). I have more to say but this is tiring and I'm gonna take a break. Maybe I'll post other stuff later. Yes, there are improvements here and there but this is ridiculously not up to par, and I've played Football Manager. *shiver*
  14. The delay on tooltips is frustrating. They should appear as soon as you hover over something that has one.

  16. Hi SeedyNick, I really like what you're doing, but I have a recommendation based on your colorblindness. The layout of the colors on the screen layout is fine and readable, but the colors of the numbers/grades can be optimized. Currently, you have the numbers set something like this: Blue > Red-Orange > Yellow-Green > Yellow This is a problem to both colorblind and colorsighted people because in both cases the odd color out is Blue. It also starts with a cool temperature color and then switches abruptly to a warm temperature color, and then back to a cool temperature color and then back to warmth. This isn't intuitive to colorsighted people. A better palette for both colorblind and colorsighted people looks like this: Soft Red > Gold > Seafoam Green > Azure Blue HTML notation: #e25656 > #ffd544 > #60e4a7 > #257fdb Actual colors Examples of how this palette is seen by people with colorblindness (for colorsighted people): Deuteranopic red/green colorblindness (most common) Protanopic red/green colorblindness Tritanopic blue/yellow colorblindness This palette keeps the colors easy to identify for all kinds of colorblind people while retaining a visible and sensible transitional palette for colorsighted people (Red=bad, Yellow=OK, Green=good, Blue=great). It also makes the eye-catching color to people with red-green types of colorblindness (Blue) the most important color as it now appears only for the best stats.
