2. China and Vietnam have offered assistance and been ignored by the puppets of capital. Some places are just now coming to their senses. "The West" is an invention to obscure the cancerous pillage of Gaia by vampiric aristocrats and plutocrats who spoke of liberty while ignoring the severed hands of plantation workers along the River Congo. I'm processing hundreds of packages from the aforementioned countries every day, not a single mask is contained within any. No testing kits. No raw chemicals. No medicine. No hospital equipment. No PPE. Even more packages come from nations worse off than those. Those containers say "Haddad Brands, Nestle, Gildan, Keurig/Dr. Pepper," etc. The wealth we steal from these places is more important than any aid. Only domination matters to the powers that be. When they can't domineer and suckle the life away from a section of the planet or its people, they move on to the next. Have you guys seen these hilarious toilet paper memes though
3. I had this super long Clash of the Titans save in TEW 2013 where I got Alex Wright to be the face of the company (before that feature existed) by accident. I'll always remember suddenly realizing that he was auto-pushed as a Main Eventer despite me only putting him in filler matches for 2 in-game years. In 2016 my biggest surprise was Dragon Assassin in 5SSW. She completely killed it and was putting on 90+ matches like clockwork while getting the whole roster over.
4. I wonder how the GSW and IPW workers are doing. There were a lot of fun characters in those promotions.
5. Does there need to be? All I'd do if I were making this is imagine what the core fan of that product would want and not want and make weighted value priorities based on that. How is that too complex? Any large amount of time spent on testing it would simply be to make it "more better," as is the case with every feature that's in the game. Also I'm pretty sure Adam said a long time ago that LU got him back into watching wrestling regularly, but I could be confusing him with someone else. AND let's please not act like modders aren't capable of making the same or worse mistakes, or like they have some kind of beautiful democratic system in place for fans of their mod to "make things right" if they do something that the players don't like as opposed to Adam's tyrranical reign of code. You say this as if any modder or player is able to concretely and with accepted collective accuracy define what the "Aerial" stat is supposed to mean. What the holy hell is "Star Quality?" Maybe you've been playing too much WMMA and forgot that a lot of this game is left to the imagination, which is weird since that's what it seems like you were arguing in favor of in the first half of the post.
6. "Gory Hardcore" sounds worse than "Deathmatch." I think this will needlessly confuse players. It also feels overly redundant with the Hardcore and Deathmatch styles that already exist. Also I feel personally attacked in that there is no "Stoner Shoot-Style Wrestling."
7. I usually like your posts because they're very honest, but I have no idea what you're getting at. What about this vague update generated this mood? Was it just that it was vague? Yes, a lot of the top guys in TEW 2016 were around 40. That's because this is a pro wrestling sim, usually wrestlers get their big push around 30-35. If they stay healthy, they'll stay around and keep making money for themselves and the promotion they work for. It's realistic. There were also developing younger stars right at the point of mega stardom, like Wolf Hawkins and Aaron Andrews, for a one company example. Just because you were familiar with them from past games doesn't mean there wasn't progression. There was even some regression. Nicky Champion, Champagne Lover, Rocky Golden, Remo, etc., none of these workers were even 35 yet but all were superstars. I think you're just burned out with the C-Verse, and that's totally OK, but keep your perspective open. Someone booting up TEW 2016 as their first experience with the C-Verse might be fascinated with Bart Biggins and his history, and that's fine. They might be mad that their top star Jack Bruce only has a year or so left, and that's also fine. It's merely a snapshot of a larger wrestling world and will obviously be more fascinating to a newbie than someone who's been with it for 10+ years.
8. Eh... that's going backwards in my opinion. I'm fine with people making their own threads and stuff but I'd assume most of the render creators ITT are like me and like the collective access where the tide is rising all of our ships (or whatever the metaphor is).
9. Some kind of rundown/lore thing after the game is released might be nice too.
10. I mean intent is nice, especially when you're designing a system, but once we see how the features are being used I don't consider it as much.
11. That's why I wanted to bring it up early, so we have time to prepare and spread out the time-consuming work of getting everything in decent order. Because all it takes is time. I'm not sure if that was what DIG was suggesting, and you can just download the whole thing if you want to search for specific workers. This is definitely another way we could do it, but I want to 100% remove the responsibility from a single creator. There were times in this thread where people were complaining about the lack of updates to the dropbox in the OP, and while they weren't actually attempting to attack J-Silver personally, that's what they were doing since that's who has the dropbox. So that's why I suggested having a moderator or something make next game's thread and be tasked only with updating the links. That way if I (for example) don't update my render database then I'll be the one and only person getting flak, which means to avoid that I'll put them in my database at the same time I showcase them in the thread, bada bing bada boom, everything's streamlined. But a communal one could also work I guess, but I'd also want to see a list of creators in the OP.
12. Can we at least all agree that the star quality/popularity system for national battles was a mistake?

There's still months to plan but we might as well start now. I'm thinking it might be a good idea for all of us to have individual dropboxes and databases linked in the OP rather than one big one, so that means we're all expected to update our own thing. It also means if we get a new creator we can simply update the OP to showcase them, which only takes a second. Maybe a moderator or staff member starts it, that way we won't have to worry as much about update inactivity.

15. Well legally Adam has to ask the people in the thread if he can use their work and then negotiate a method of payment (or no payment) for it. Just assuming "everything from that thread will be in" is incorrect.
16. I mean "tweeners" when described to me are typically normal babyfaces with edgy gimmicks. And I've never heard anyone in the actual real life business use the term so why should the game, you know?

18. I'm not sure if I'll like the new system since I haven't played it, but it is likely going to be a massive step in the right direction because of issues like that. It's unfortunate that the way the system used to work was to actively lie to players who trusted what the game was telling them. And on top of that, the push system would cause workers to get upset if they were being under-pushed, causing players to perpetuate using the auto-push system that was often screwing them.
19. There definitely needs to be some worker morale/guarantee involving where people are on the card still. But even in 2016 and before there was an issue with top stars being totally fine with opening every show, when they should be getting incredibly frustrated or refusing to re-sign, especially if it's going to be more realistic this year. And promising a title shot in a worked sport is kinda silly, you should promise them winning a top title or nothing. Assuming you don't cheese the game and create one just for them I guess.
20. Well well well, look what time of year it is. Click the name if you dare. Don't worry, wrestling is fake so he won't hurt you.
21. Thank you! Yeah I'm probably gonna make another round of young workers (since they'll definitely be in TEW 2020) and she'd be on the list. Also $10 would be cool I'm poor
22.
Gay Icon - This worker is very popular with the LGBTQ+ community, regardless of their personal sexuality. Receives a boost to merch sales.

Salt - This worker will actively attempt to agitate members of their promotion(s) to form a union and can't be placated by the booker or promoter. (not sure how to implement this one but shoutouts to Jesse)

24. The absolute dearth of workers able to do deathmatches has always bugged me to the point where I don't even bother with Hardcore companies anymore.
